BTW, I also noticed that on Tahiti, the best worksize value is 64.  Using worksize 256 will make it drop to 190Kh/s

I just tried it on my 280X Tahiti but it won't go over 80 kh/s with worksize 64

Maybe I am a little slow but can someone tell me why in the OP there are two pools listed in the x11 merge mining but on the site they look like multipool's since there are only certain payout options available? Isn't the idea of merge mining that you mine multiple coins with the option to keep these coins and be paid it it's own wallet? Or am I blind and I missed these options on each pool.

Just my opinion but I think when the dev was forced to get rid of the pre-mine, he/they lost interest in the coin.

@wr104

I am also getting the HW errors again with the Nvidia cards.  Was there something besides the .bin files that needed to be deleted?

EDIT: It works fine for my 750ti's. Getting around 80 kh/s. Up from about 50 kh/s. The 970 gets HW errors though. Not sure what is going on with tat yet.

What build instructions or wget and command line did you use to get it working with your 750ti ?
I've been trying for days, I must be missing something.
I'm on Linux 64bit Ubuntu 14.

I did not compile or build at all.

Just downloaded and ran the miner from the github. I am on Windows 7 64 bit.

Did you try just running the miner that he already has built for Linux? https://github.com/kryptohash/cgminer-khc/releases/tag/v3.7.6-Beta3

EDIT: Here is my bat that I use: cgminer.exe --kryptohash --kernel kshake320v2 -d 1,2,3 -I 14 -o http://khc.nonce-pool.com:4300 -u YOUR_USER_NAME_HERE -p YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE --shaders 640 --shaders-mul 8
I probably should be using Nonce Pools stratum though.

I meant to say max group work size.  Sorry.

Delete the .bin and try --worksize 1024 and see what happens.

Also, if you want your 750s with a different worksize value, you can use for example: --worksize 1024,256,256,256

Still get the HW error but that is ok, my 750ti's owrk. Even if the --worksize 1024 worked the speed went from over 200 kh/s down to 40 kh/s.

I must need something else, file, for the 970 to work. Like maybe an updated open cl file or something or this Nvidia driver is holding it back.

As I said, the Kernel hasn't changed.  If the '--cl-opt-disable' option isn't helping on the 970, just remove it and cgminer should pretty much work as before.  Don't forget to delete 'kshake320-546-uint2{GPUNAME}v1w256i4.bin' every time you make a change so, cgminer is forced to re-compile the Kernel next time it is executed.

Also, try changing the Work Size using the '--worksize' option on your 970.  The default is now 256 and your nVidia GPU might not like that value.

Tried changing the --worksize to 128 and 512 same issue with HW error. I am not sure if there are other multiples to try with it.

I have also been deleting the .bin files everytime I run the bat.

Add these two paramters to the command line:   --debug  2>log.txt

And look inside log.txt  what is the Preferred Work Size for the 970.

I see Preferred vector but not worksize, I do see max work size reported though:

Quick test on GTX970 with the --cl-opt-disable crashed the driver.

Will play with it more later when I get back in.

EDIT: Huge speed increase in the 280X without the  --cl-opt-disable.

And thanks for reviving the coin.

Just found this ann and your coin but a little confused.

I read that the wallet should be version 2.1.6 but as some one posted earlier, I also downloaded from the OP and the wallet says v1.2.06.1. I also tried the link in your post #192 and the download says v0.3.1 but when running the wallet it says v0.10.99.0. When I open the one from your post #192 the wallet does look like what you have posted in #193 but the version numbers don't match up.

Like I said, I am confused on what wallet to be on and what download to use.

Hello

v0.3.1 is a release candiate, which is what it says in the wallet and my post, it is an update on which i am basing some of the major stuff i am working on.

Use the one in the OP if you are mining that link always points to the latest stable build..

Quote
the wallet is still marked as pre-release since there are features i want to add.

the 10.99 is some remnant from upstream since with every update i rebase to the latest code, then work in every change.

Ok but can you verify that the link in the OP is correct?

Like I said earlier, you said to make sure we are on version 2.1.6 but the OP download says version 1.2.06.1. Is this just an issue where the 1.2.06.1 is just a glitch and it is actually v2.1.6?

I just don't want to be wasting time on a wrong wallet.

Is there an Nvidia miner for this yet?

Not an optimized Nvidia miner but the miner that wr104 made does work.

Thanks, I searched around and couldn't find this, is a source or precompile available?

It's in the OP: https://github.com/kryptohash/cgminer-khc/releases

I can't remember which one exactly works for the Nvidia card with multiple gpus. I put mine on something else for now as the 750ti's was only getting about 50 kh/s but the 970 gets about 150 kh/s with the cgminer. I am hoping that when wr104 gets sgminer going it will work better.
Looks like that's AMD only, maybe I'm missing something but checked the readme and install guides and tried it out.

It does work for Nvidia just not the best but it works. Like I posted in the quote the speeds I got on my 750ti ' s and 970.

You need to put in the number of Cuda Cores for the shaders.

I'm on Linux and getting this when trying to compile from source, all the premades were for Windows it seems.

Oh sorry about that. I just assumed you was running Windows.

I have no idea about getting it going on Linux.

why cgminer still pool 0 slow/down?

That's what i'm getting still...

Following such posts we will find that up until the creation of the pool there were no people mining solo, except for the ones who made the coin and are

TRYING TO SIMULATE A FAIR LAUNCH

Follow the posts, yes they look great, dev's are communicating and all, but in all fact and certainty no one has posted a CONF file which works in SOLO MINING, as has no-one validated claims about anything except for the people that are tied with the coins and have double accounts.

Real folks out there, some back up please.

Wore beat me to it.

But you are calling this a scam because you did not know how to create a config file to solo mine yourself? If that is the case pick any coin and see if they give you directions on how to solo mine.

I started mining a year ago and it took me about 2 weeks to learn because I had to Google everything for myself to learn.

If you are really new to all this it is better to ask questions than to start making accusations.
