Minersource cannot issue refunds as they have paid us for your miners. We're currently making a list with the refund requests to see if we can refund from our margin. Note that our margin is quite low as we have charged our customers $4000 on a miner while others have charged $16000 on the same hardware during the same period. As we've announced, we've put the ASICs into production and they've been paid in full. Canceling the ASIC now is not possible as we will incur around 85 to 95% penalty so we're left in refunding only from our margin. You didn't answer the part about how you claimed CNY wouldn't affect you guys, but it very well did. |

Last week was Chinese New Year, most of the company was off work. Anyway, we have completed the pinout of the chip, made some progress on the case but has not been completed.

Quick question about the renders, and I do not know anything about what a render means, but they are just questions I had when looking at them.
Where will the Ethernet port be located? Some pictures have it on the front, others have it on the back?
Are those USB ports on the front of some of the renders? What would that be used for?
Some of the renders have a small hole next to the on button, whats that for?
I like the screen and if it shows that information it would be cool, but will there be a way to turn them off? I dont really need 10+ units stacked together each showing the exact same thing.
IDK if there are any answers for this yet, but just some things I was wondering from looking at the pictures.
I'd like to know as well. In addition, it looks like there's an HDMI port on the back.  |

Communication:
BA and the re sellers are putting together a new system of communication, to aid in the internal communication, and the communication with our customers and the community. We are looking at a bevy of options, including some sort of newsletter, to official twitter. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.
Customer Service:
I have completed highering of additional guys here at minersource, and they are working through training now. Expect better response times, and phone hours in the future. BA has also hired many additional staff and should see an improvement as well.
Tape out/Verisilicon/Chips
Besides what is covered under NDA (I know I know... but a NDA is a NDA), I can assure you I have seen the full contracts with BA and Verisilicon, and that BA has paid them in full. The other re sellers can confirm this. Based on all the info I have, the May 1 day is quite firm. No guarantees as you guys know by now, but thats the best I can do.
Status of other Parts:
The PCBs pretty much designed (waiting for those final pin specs as said before), the heatsinks are done, the custom 1400w psus are done, the controller and its software are in their final phases. I will get additional info and pictures on this as soon as I can.
We will also have a much greater presence at trade shows, we will publish a list as soon as we sign up for them. We will at least be at Quakecon 2014.

Weren't we told that they didn't have the capacity to ship all of batch 1 at once? That's why they had a batch 1 round 1 and round 2. Now, all of a sudden, they can ship all of batch 1 together, PLUS all of batch 2?
I'd like an explanation for that one..

Consider the fact that KNC and Coinerra beat blackarrow and will cause the difficulty to rise much more, thus any compensation provided after the fact will be worth less.

First day was just talks with me , tomorrow everyone else joins us and we make decisions. Im also Jet lagged as all hell, it 451am here and I cant sleep. Not that I don't believe you, but if you live in Denver, why does your local time indicate that you're on the east coast? Same thing goes for blackarrow - his local time indicated that he's in Europe, not China. The more transparency we get, the better people feel. |
