Will this new position actually be in the same building as the people working on the product? one thing is for sure.. the new position will be PAYROLL using YOUR MONEY. pffft. pre-order.

Since you're here, why don't you provide us with an update. What progress has been made in the last week?
Last week was Chinese New Year, most of the company was off work. Anyway, we have completed the pinout of the chip, made some progress on the case but has not been completed. I remember post after post about how you guys would not be affected by the CNY, care to comment why "most of the staff" had off when you previously said it wouldn't affect you guys? Also since a yes or no answer was never given, will minersource be giving refunds, yes or no? Need an answer to this as well, blackarrow. Ask minesource they are not black arrow, they are just resellers.

This is where the official record seems to be, not that anything is ever official, it does matter here as the way bobsag will get money is if BA gives it to him to give to us. So I think this thread is very appropriate place to pose the question, which has been asked numerous times, not only by myself, and never answered with a definitive yes or no

So posts keep getting deleted, that's great. You promised miners shipping in two weeks, then a week ago you tell all your customers that you decided your machines would be using too much power so you just went ahead with plans to make a more advanced machine months from now. How long have you known that this was the case? Obviously you didn't have anything close to ready a month ago, or two months ago. Now you are being shady with refunds, both here and on your own forums. When are you going to offer full refunds to customers you defrauded?

I found this odd too, I recall seeing 120 pages of this thread. Somehow it is now 114 pages, those 6 pages could have contained important information necessary for customer refunding (assuming they are even considering such a request). I submitted my ticket to Black Arrow's main site 2 days ago and haven't heard back on my request for a refund.

I remember post after post about how you guys would not be affected by the CNY, care to comment why "most of the staff" had off when you previously said it wouldn't affect you guys?
Also since a yes or no answer was never given, will minersource be giving refunds, yes or no?
Minersource cannot issue refunds as they have paid us for your miners. We're currently making a list with the refund requests to see if we can refund from our margin. Note that our margin is quite low as we have charged our customers $4000 on a miner while others have charged $16000 on the same hardware during the same period. As we've announced, we've put the ASICs into production and they've been paid in full. Canceling the ASIC now is not possible as we will incur around 85 to 95% penalty so we're left in refunding only from our margin.

May I suggest that customers in the UK and other jurisdictions where similar rules apply who have not received products and have been denied refunds, either by a refund being declined or a delay in reply resulting in a de facto denial of a refund, that they draw the matter to the attention of the trading standards authorities if they feel so inclined. The other matter at hand here is if BA is unable to provide refunds to all the customers who ask for refunds, then it could also be in breach of corporations laws if it is deemed to be 'trading while insolvent' and the directors and company officers held personally liable. A few prosecutions of bitcoin companies and individuals who think its fair game to rort the public would soon put an end to this borderline criminal activity known vicariously as 'pre-orders' in the bitcoin community.

On Jan 30 Black Arrow said this: We have now finalized the design process using our newly improved code and will start manufacturing the chip (tape out) in the next few days.
so next few days turned out to be 3 weeks, hence it doesnt matter, they can say just about anything.

I love it how only the fudsters who don't have an order with BA demanding refunds/screaming/crying.
This is like the whole bfl fiasco but with only a 2 month delay and no actual customers complaining.
And for those keeping record, the amount of people who successfully took legal action against bfl for delays on their preorder: zero.
