781  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: March 30, 2013, 04:07:23 AM
Has anyone *not* gotten confirmation of purchase from Avalon yet? Please tell me I'm not alone here.

I was with you until last week. I just asked support from walletbit last week and then I got the confirmation from walletbit after 1 day or 2.

Got confirmation from WalletBit - but not from Avalon. You?

OoC, I have confirmation from WalletBit for all my Avalon orders, but my orders are not showing correctly on the Avalon site.
I have emailed,pm'd BitSyncom, yifu's gmail, created support tickets.

No answer.

Looks like a good few of us are in the same boat, so I'm fairly confident Avalon will get it sorted. If it was just one or two of us I'd be worried.

no, it looks like all the Early Batch#2 orders (feb2-3) have no order information in the Avalon site. Its only that the later batch#2 that have it

For what its worth, if the units are marketed at CHINA as what the earlier Chinese postings seem to suggest they will most likely sell out. I would never underestimate the purchasing power of the Chinese when it comes to speculative investments like these

Cheers

I don't see how noone here has received one yet...

I have a package here from DHL, shipped on 2/22 from Shenzhen, arrived today.

Unfortunately, it was not an ASIC...

Just a thought, the only way i see this happening is if the packages were not shipped by DHL and instead by another courier. i.e EMS, China/HK/SG Post, etc. Shipping charges for a box that size with DHL is relatively expensive.

If you know of a way to create legally binding documents across international borders that prove who you are and is not what the claims process is, I would like to hear your plan.

Best,
James

Let me answer this one.... DIGITAL SIGNATURE !!!
Seconded, I can digitally sign any pdf in legal binding form...

Same here...

James:

This could be very helpful for those not located in the US as some of us are not having any luck with Quentin replying to inquiries.

Thanks

got a refund for Inv #8xx, refund requested on Jan 14  paid in BTC, got back 37 BTC..
still waiting for another. I guess they go by order #
oh and it came on the 22nd

No, it don't go by order number. My number is lower than 800 and I did not receive a refund.

I think you need to check to see if the refund request was correctly received.

You should be able to do this by logging in to the old btcfpga site and check the refund status. It should say something like "refund requested"

Thanks cablepair/tom, just got my refund Smiley. Order 765.

Lower order number - no refund.

Can you please add the exchange rate that was applied in case of BTC refunds?

The exchange rate i got was around USD 30/btc , so it does appear he is using the current exchange rates.

For what its worth, thanks for the partial refund (TOM). Better late than never

Funny that 2 orders combined into one. I don't like it.

One question, what is the order number from those who had received such a mail?

I think they are entering the 'old' February 2nd orders into their 'new' ordering system by hand, hence the high order numbers. I have #4077.

Is anyone seeing the batch#2 orders made on the 2/3rd of Feb being entered into the system under their accounts?

For those that paid in full for Batch #2 on Feb 2nd, when you log into your account at http://store.avalon-asics.com do you see anything under "Recent Orders"?

I paid for mine in full, walletbit won't confirm that they have any address on file, avalon won't even look up my order and on the avalon site it tells me "You have no recent orders.".

Avalon Support ticket: #136

You are not alone, on the same boat. No response from the tickets. However, Adam at Walletbit was helpful and at least i got a response from there

Avalon Support Ticket #339

Cheers

We're in 100% agreement here. Their customer service has been absolutely horrendous. I too have spent hours moving funds around and trying to order from them, even now I'm not sure I was successful because they have the funds but haven't said word one to confirm my order which was (hopefully) placed almost two weeks ago.

If its any consolation, you are not alone.  Angry
794  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 17, 2013, 02:50:41 PM
they are actually being sent as we speak. pm me your order/email

Hi Yifu

I just sent you a PM for a batch#2 Avalon order confirmation request as I was informed by Adam (walletbit) there was an issue with my order details and that you are the only ones that can correct this. Can you please take a look at these as I am not getting any kind of response from your ticketing system other than automated replies which are of no help.

Thanks

that was quick.. though i suspect it might be released in batches. As there were no announcements the previous batch could have been a test batch

I had no luck at http://launch.avalon-asics.com, still had a "wait" icon when I pressed the purchase button.

However, when I used http://shop-avalon-asic.pagodabox.com/?wpsc-product=avalon-asic-unit, the shopping cart did not "oops". The WalletBit portion of the excercise went fine, although he purchase page could do with more explanations for guest payers.

Now waiting on purchase confirmation email.

Have you tried creating an account on the store.avalon-asics.com page first before placing your order? I tried and it went through quite easily but no confirmation email yet though

Managed to put in an order at last, hopefully this does not end like another bAsic.

Anyone get a confirmation email though?
798  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: February 03, 2013, 03:10:51 PM
So more evidence that the BTC payments were NOT converted to USD and thus you guys should be getting 100% of the BTC you paid into this failure, regardless of exchange rate.

I think at this point of time the exchange rate is the least of the concern. The real question is whether or not the BTC refunds will be processed.
799  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: February 03, 2013, 02:53:29 PM
I requested my refund on the 13th of Jan. Dave answered me on 17th of Jan and told me that he added me to the btc refund list. No sign of my money yet.

This is sad  Cry

..wonder if we should setup a collection bounty at this point of time.
