781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: February 16, 2018, 02:51:08 PM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?
Man, it's like to ask: Why don't you play assassinms creed over prince of persia. Really, it's similar question. Everyone has different taste, for some people poker and blackjack is good, for others some arcades and etc. Everyone finds different thing for fun. Usually people gamble for getting profit but if anyone claims they gamble for fun, that's great if it's reality.
Well, to answer your question, that is because you cannot play assassin’s creed and prince of Persia at once, but not because you do not like the two. I know where you are driving at, but this is a different case scenario here.

Assassin’s creed and prince of Persia are both games that you can play for fun, however, if we are talking about gambling where you even lose money in the process and then calling it fun, I guess that is overrated. We should call a spade a spade, people gamble because they have the belief that they can get lucky and make some extra cash, we should leave the fun aspect aside.

THIS
It is the reason why people get addicted to gambling, once you leave the fun aspect then your main purpose is for money only. This will lead you into worst situation, because the desire to get more money when you win and the desire to recover when you lose keeps rising. This will be the beginning of something called by addiction. Those who use gamble for fun will never got into that situation, because they have a limit on gambling as long as they enjoy the fun part on gambling then they will stop no matter they are losing or winning.
I totally get your gist, but the fact is that just very few people see it this way and even the other category of people only uses this to console them. Really, let's call a spade a spade, majority of gamblers really wants to make money. If you think I’m wrong, check out most of the questions being asked by noobs. Most people just cover up with the fun aspect, most especially in online gambling just to be able to keep their minds in play so it does not get out of hand and it takes some experience from losing to be able to do that, but the rest? Please, they are just some bunch of greedy people looking for income where there isn't.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the value of Bitcoin dramatically decrease? on: February 16, 2018, 01:22:03 PM
Hi! Bitcoin is very well established in the past year. But not all major investors managed to buy it. It is reduced by all means. This is an opportunity to purchase.  Very soon it will fly.
Well, that is another beautiful angle to look at it. It is dramatically decreasing because some people decided to play with the weakness of the greedy ones to drop the market and then make some profit off them which after they are done and no one else to go further, they end up starting another rally for profit. With the rate of FOMOs last year, I believe the dramatic decrease was expected.

Bitcoin DRAMATICALLY increases is the same way it decreases. As long as a rally is becoming too good to be true and you just keep seeing a non-stop ladder on the chart that is not leaning against any wall, then you should always expect a little bit of a fall, however, the strength of the market, always end up pulling it back anyway, which is what brings up the recovery phase.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto is the future,no need to panic on: February 16, 2018, 12:22:14 PM
gee !! if you already join in the world of crypto you already know about all the risks and its benefits. even though we're Be in hot water we do not need to panic calm course, ordinary people panic is the investors who are new to the world of bitcoin. I believe that everyone will know its usefulness and its benefits in the future and I believe that botcoin will remain the best in the crypto world. Wink
This time that market is very unstable we should know the best that best that we can do. If were aiming our goal for long term panic is not the solutions. Right, risks should know in every details in every investment that we have. Like in bitcoin we should know it's history that price soon can recover.
In fact, long term holders should even panic less knowing that at the long run, they still always end up getting the best from their holdings anyway. Those who are early adopters or have been here for a while now already know better. The market is a volatile one, and we all know that and the same way we can have a huge bear rally is the same way we can have a huge bull rally, but the ups are usually more than the lows, which is one thing to always have in mind.
784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Checking crypto prices on: February 16, 2018, 07:45:08 AM
of course, I really need to look at every day what happened to the crypto that I bought and should see every day because I had the price increase for sure with that income.
It will be hard to be holding something and not at least have your mind set to it, even if it is once in a while. I check my holdings everyday even despite the fact that I am a long term holder. At least, it makes sense to see how your investments are doing, isn't it? I guess this is normal for anyone and it would be easier said than done to just not bother about your holding, and come back in few years’ time.

Well, for traders, I really do not have any choice checking the price more than once in a day, although my alerts keep me up from missing anything, so I usually do not check mostly. However, for some trades, or trying to look at the market for opportunities, I get to check daily and sometimes even twice daily if there is a particular trend I am looking forward to in a coin. But for now, I would say daily.
785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: February 16, 2018, 06:53:08 AM
More people jump in to cryptocurrency trading will be good for market because the trader get best price with more liquidity. As i know currently there are about 30 million of crypto trader in the world and this number will growing because crypto will be more popular. So more trader is mean cryptocurrency and blockchain community also bigger.
At very first, I am not very sure how you got your statistics of the number of global traders. However, the bigger we get as far as I am concerned and in the normal sense, the stronger and better we get. This is in the sense that, we are growing and we know that growth is a good thing.

Nevertheless, trading cryptocurrency based on what the OP said, is not really that easy, as it takes a lot of getting used to. It is a decentralized market, and sometimes, you just do not have to beat yourself if things do not go your way, but with good knowledge and experience, it gets better.
786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on? on: February 15, 2018, 10:54:46 AM
Market is very complicate now. none can tell what will be happened but I think it is not time for selling any coin. We should hold all coins until high price. Better If we buy some right coin in this correction. Price is low now.So we will make profit. I think Price will increase but needs some time.

Thanks
Yeah, market is always complicated and most especially, cryptocurrency market. The market has shown us some different signs of a bounce back in the past, but at the end of it all, we always end up seeing the other side of the market sometimes.

With the low prices however, even those who were wise enough to buy in at the last bottom, should be having some profit now, so at the end, one just have to make use of the opportunities that comes, but even for those who bought at the top, I still see nothing to be worried about as the market will eventually recover hugely and start seeing large volumes.
787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: February 15, 2018, 09:04:00 AM
Crypto trade is not as easy as you think, trading crypto requires more patience, it is not easy to make a profit if you can not be patient, and if many new trader come quickly, this is great for helping the growth of the crypto world Grin More trader = more volume = crypto price will rise Cool
Right. It is more like having huge adoption in crypto and then thinking it is a bad thing. There is just so much to go around, and the more we keep seeing stepping in and most especially the knowledgeable ones, the better for the market to keep growing stronger. I am sure this year will even usher in more investors as well as traders and as long as you have a good knowledge, the OP or anyone in his shoes should be fine.

Traders coming in, both with knowledge and those without adequate knowledge do not make it any different. In fact, it even makes it better, as the more the merrier. However, looking at the market, it is obvious we have a lot of weak traders in the market who are just busy gambling. Nevertheless, it is in any other market, so at the end of the day, traders cannot be too much. Good that you said you have learned and have prepared yourself very well for the journey, because some do not, and with that you should be fine.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the most profitable coin if invested? on: February 15, 2018, 08:20:23 AM
If you believe the market is going to grow this year then Bitcoin and Ether are great bets. I would also have some smaller alts in your portfolio for possible explosive gains. I would check out Titanium, this is a good bet and they will be releasing masternodes in the near future too, plenty to get excited about.
I would not say only bitcoin and Ether alone. There are so many other good coins that are pretty much undervalued right now, and I want to believe that they will also do well.

The good thing about some of these coins is that they tend to give even a greater level of profit than one can imagine and really, anything for the bucks as long as I am sure it is a good project and worthy of holding, not just some shitcoin. However, for someone who wants to be safe though, your choices will be a good bet, and I will also like to add LTC to the list too.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it right time to purchase alt coin like cindicator and electronium. on: February 14, 2018, 05:28:11 PM
Many altcoin dropped to lows - why ETN and CND? There are many perspective altcoins - ICX, REQ, RDN, NEBL, NAS, AION, ELF, CMS etc
In fact, right now, anyone asking which coin to buy is just more like reaching a huge mall and asking what to buy. The best thing right now is to find coins with good products. For those who may not be sure of what to buy, coinmarketcap is usually a good place to start with the top 100 coins. One would just get confused looking for what to buy and hold for the long term and end up buying nothing or just end up bag holding shit coins unknowingly.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is back on: February 14, 2018, 08:29:07 AM
Good to see! I know alot of people were worried about this. Rumors were going around that binance was hacked. Personally I didn't believe it, but you know how these rumors get around so quickly. So glad to see that they're wrapping it up. I also feel bad for those who had their funds or anything else tied up on binance during this process!
I was worried, there was no concrete news, and a lot of negative news were busy flying around and not hearing anything from the devs or team, unless I missed it though, was not really comforting. Glad they are back, and I hope the essence of it all was to get better. I know with the level of growth going on in the crypto space, it can be overwhelming and it would take some more exchanges coming up and the present ones keeping up with the speed of the growth to be able to stay afloat.

The level of DDOS attack that most of these exchanges experience is not a small thing and even though it can be crazy, but it takes a high level of security team to always stay at alert. We are talking about a lot of funds here and I am sure they will be trying their very best to make sure they stay on top of their game. I am sure they must not have expected the level of explosion of users though, but they will just have to find a way to keep up.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 14, 2018, 07:10:37 AM
I've been keeping my coins on exchange because it kind of reduces the expense of fees.
If you value the safety and security of your funds over fees, then you will definitely deserve whatever happens to them in the long run. Also, you need to know that you have nothing as long as you have them in those exchanges. It has been screamed on top of a lot of user's voice on this thread that keeping funds in an exchange which obviously you do not have the private key, gives you no control over your funds, except that you can withdraw them if you still have the chance. Wait until something happens to that exchange of yours, then maybe you will learn the hard way.
792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any prediction for the Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2018, 11:36:40 AM
Bitcoin still fighting to be stable. In every two days, Bitcoin price rising and down happening. This is too volatile now. So, What do you think about the recent market? will it rise again? If which then which month it will happen?
Very vague,absurd question.

Pretty sure no one here is Nostradamus to predict the absolute details about the bitcoin's price. If you can understand charts, statistics and data-mining,you can come up with some interesting information for yourself. Also this looks like a question a Fudster can answer at his best.
Absurd indeed. Obviously he thought we have some pretty magical eyes that can see through the charts and know what happens next. This could be a speculation thread but there are some questions that just do not make sense and no one can give any prediction of what happens next, let alone accurate. The chart tells us everything when the time comes and at least we still have some huge resistance ahead to break before we can even assume a little where we are going.

Market is very volatile and any little thing can cause a huge down or uptrend as the case may be. The market now looks like a plain gamble for anyone who wants to enter this position. I would rather wait and see what happens next before we start predicting anything. I am still very much optimistic that this year should be great with this high level of dip, but who knows what the future holds? No one!
793  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin lower than $6000? Is it possible? on: February 12, 2018, 06:27:14 PM
I hope the bitcoin will turrun until the price of $ 4000
because if that happens, I'll buy as much as I can, divert all my assets to buy bitcoin.
and I will hold it, no matter about negative news
because I'm sure in a few months time, bitcoin will return to its normal price
and it will give me many advantages
There are many hopes for this that bitcoin will be lower than $6k. If in case it will reach below $6k for sure many of us will buy bitcoin as much as we can. Possibilities is their, let's see for the mean time if price will dropped lower $6k.
yeah a lot of people hopes the price could come down cheaper, but who knew that a price of $6k is the lowest bitcoin price? and they are waiting for $5k. It is possible that bitcoin price will never fell lower again, because the support are strong enough. I've bought it when $6k and hope soon to recover over $10k and never down under $5k Cheesy
Well, is there any need hoping at this stage? As whatever will happen will happen? The thing is that we cannot all say exactly what may end up happening with bitcoin, but we can at least be sure of one thing the chart is telling us. Right now, the bears look worn out, we having some pretty good volume, the 4h chart’s forming a head and shoulder pattern, all we just need now is a break out and it would be like a bull explosion. Experiencing $5000 to me now does not look like something possible.

Obviously, nothing is impossible. Even if we hope for something now, anything can change. The market has experienced some bad periods and obviously everyone is looking to see what happens next as no one can actually predict that right now. Hopefully, the downtrend is over, and if it is not, we just have to wait it out, but for now, no one can say if it will be lower than $6k or if this is the end of correction.
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below $10,000 on: February 11, 2018, 01:42:14 PM
Right now BTC trying to bounce and stabilize at around $8000.We must still be careful because if BTC broke $6000 support it may go to $5000 level. So this is the right time to hold bitcoin and get it up $10.000 again and again like before.Lets repeat the victory of BTC on up.
I know a lot of are really excited right now and hoping that we start a bull run soon, but it is too early to even know where we are heading to now with bitcoin. However, if peradventure we go back down and end up testing the previous bottom, if we are able to bounce back, that should be a fast move up to the $10k region, and otherwise, breaking it downwards can also be a fast move downwards which I really do not even want to imagine right now.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: February 10, 2018, 11:17:10 AM
I think I can pretty much last longer than expected. I already experienced being so addicted to the point that it wasn't healthy anymore and I don't wanna be back to that place which is why as hard as it may seem, I tried to control myself slowly until I can totally let go off it. Thinking it through, I guess I made the right decision. It's all about priority and having self control at the end of the day. Right now, I only gamble only if I feel like I deserve it, not as often as I did before and I still feel great!
Good you were able to break lose from that impulse bro! A lot of people find it hard doing that until they realize they are so deep into it and getting out of that level becomes so hard. Gambling is fun, until it no longer becomes fun and that is one thing I have always told myself even when I used to gamble until I realized at the end of the day, it pays to gamble only once in a while when you just feel like than making it a habit.

The addiction to gambling will surely put your life into hell. Now, we are fully recovered and my father is not into gambling anymore. I am sure he learned his lesson.
It is a whole lot hard. Talking from experience. It is like the wall of China that you cannot break. It is either you struggle to climb to the other side of sanity or you just stay in the addictive zone which can be killing as there would always be wild animals in the gambling industry looking to devour you. I just explained to you what it was really like for me, so you can be thankful you already know how hard it can be when addictive.

797  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 errors when buying crypto currency on: February 09, 2018, 05:54:38 PM
The most important feature of crypto money is the price movements it has done in the past. Coins, which are not particularly affected by the price declines of Bitcoin, have always earned their investors.
The truth is that some coins really do have some huge community and really do not get affected much when bitcoin is having a rally. However, one cannot really know sometimes, so the best thing is to always be at alert when in a market.
Know when it is time to get out and buy back lower, know when you did not make the right call and even when you make a right call, know when to sell. At the end, for any investor or trader to be successful, knowledge is the only thing that can help them.
798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From stock market trading shift to crypto trading on: February 09, 2018, 05:03:33 PM
Crypto trading is fast pace compared to stock trading. The income opportunity is high in crypto trading compared to stock trading because there is not much volatility in stock trading compared to crypto. Movement in crypto for one week maybe one year already in stocks because of the volatility. You need to have higher capital in stocks for you to have huge gains because movements are small whereas in crypto even if you have small capital, you still have a chance to have high profit especially if you were able to ride a coin to the moon. It is more risky in crypto compared to stocks because you have insurance in stocks while in crypto you don't have because it is not regulated.
Yeah, and that is because stock market is a controlled market, crypto is not and which is what makes the cryptocurrency market even more interesting even though risky than the stock market. However, what the heck? We are talking about the chances of good profit and to hold some coins in the process for the future here, so at the end, trading the crypto market comes with even better profit than the stock market.

There is a lot of opportunity in the stock market, but truly there is just so much more opportunity here. Since you have been in the stock market, I believe you should be fine. The truth is that asides from the fact that we are in a decentralized market, cryptocurrency and stock kind of look similar when you are trading them and about the same principle applies, just that you have to be very careful with some coins as they are more like penny stocks as well.
799  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: February 09, 2018, 03:00:43 PM
You don't. Hacks target the exchanges wallet by finding exploits and not the user accounts separately. If you want your funds to be safe, use exchanges for trading only and withdraw to your personal wallet.
it makes me little scare sir, how about the wallet? it's still safe?, if you have any recomend ,what's good exchanges  sir?
There is nothing like a good exchange. If you are holding for the long term, you can decide to go the cold storage way. If you do not have the cash for stuffs like ledger Nano, you can just generate a paper wallet and your public key is the only thing you need to always receive funds.

As long as you are not trading, never leave your funds in an exchange and even if you are trading, make sure your account security is sound enough.

One thing is to always make sure safety is paramount when it comes to cryptocurrency just like the OP stated. We cannot always avoid some of these things, but the earlier people started knowing how to stay secured, the better. Expert hackers or not, if you leave yourself vulnerable to an attack, you will definitely be a victim and the best is to always be on the lookout, most especially for any phishing links.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: February 09, 2018, 01:43:35 PM
Well, I think existing ICO pages are remaining, but without ads, just for conversation and any updates for community
I actually heard from someone that some of their pages were locked out and they were told to contact the admin to get it sorted out. I would not blame them anyway, it is for a good cause and I am sure a lot of users could have complained, maybe after getting scammed by some of the adverts. They had a very good reason to stop the adverts, but in terms of the impact it would have on ICOs, I doubt if it will ever be much.
