Yeah this sucks for you guys waiting for customer support to help you out... though it reminds me of 2 lessons we all should learn from....
BTC-e was very quick to take on NVC on the exchange... seems they can be bought if the price is right....
and BFL customer support is the only customer support that seems as bad as the BTC-e customer support...
I think if we all want to be rid of the banking system and embrace the freedom crypto-currencies gives the individual... then BE BLOODY CAREFUL WITH YOUR MONEY!!! a post in here said to open an account, trade, then withdraw all... is sound advice for massive trades... otherwise only keep on account what u can afford to loose, Paper wallets are there for a reason.
I think it is a shame that BTC-e can not resolve this issue faster or with some degree of clarity here... one user is only talking about 4-5btc... that really not much for BTC-e to be looking to scam someone out of and tbh the publicity from this will be worse than the moneytary gains to be had from the lost account. But what does seem to be the case here is BTC-e being overloaded with new users, scams, DDOS, and the rest.... not to mention the difficult language barrier that seems to be rearing its head in this instance... sorry but even I have difficulty understanding the btc-e responses on this post...
is there not an ICR node for BTC-e??
Is there not a helpful translator that can aid in this situation to see if the matter can be resolved?
If there is an issue with verifying the emails for accounts then should BTC-e not be eager to hear about this bug?
last thing i'll say is be careful!!! again its ur money, so up to you what you do with it, but sending btc worth near $1000 to a site that you have not been able to verify ur email address on should give you alarm bells ringing that you should hold off trading or sending funds into the account for a while.... its a lesson and these are changing times that we are a part of, be sure you take all necessary precautions to keep your funds safe.... Have you encrypted your wallet on your local computer?? have you backed up your wallet.dat file?? it doesn't take much for you too loose everything through poor planning... read round and find out what u need to do to keep ur funds safe, or ur gonna have a bad time.... there are people i know with wallets lost on formatted HD's with 100's of BTC in them and online wallets with lost passwords.... rather sad when u think what they worth nowadays... but least it takes some of the 21million BTC out of existance and makes my BTC more valuable.
TL;DR BTC-E sort this out... get a translator to help clarify problems..... and users protect yoursleves...
Only matter of time before Pirate Fund Mark 2 scam comes along...

oh well, you live and you learn
What did you learn? erm.... sell sell sell ?? Have to say its lovely to see i'm not the only one questioning if I was right to sell most of my PPC.... fortunately holding most of my TRC still atm....but yeah greed is a killer, i made profit when i did sell PPC, could have made more now, and I have gifted about 10,000PPC to various people and couple of thousand TRC to... y because I feel the karma is good and this not all about my own greed and money... the thing I am most happy with is that I have been a part of this interesting time and not just joining it now... not to say that those joining now don't stand a chance... quite the contrary... i think if PPC hits 1:1 with BTC.... and BTC worth $10,000 how would we all feel then having sold our hundreds of thousands of coins for a few hundred $ or handful of BTC.... tbh... probably the same as the person who paid 10,000 BTC for a pizza back in the day be grateful for what u do have and remember there are always others less fortunate than you.... does money really matter as well?? we could all be hit by a car tomorrow and die. Cryptocurrencies are a nice hobby of mine that i like to talk about, but today i spent the day playing with my 5 year old nephew over from new zealand.... no crypto currency can match the value of the time we spent playing together today, so yeah keep it all in perspective .... i feel i should add though that most likely my TRC will pay for my flight to New Zealand this year to see him and my sister and her husband down under, so Crypto currencies are a nice hobby... a hobby that kinda pays for the better things in life

What are the person(s) with avalons agenda? Are you attacking TRC simply for the money, or do you have some vested interest in it failing?
There was no attack. TRC actually crumbled just by the avalan guy doing mining, that's how weak the TRC network is. And, this is why alt-coins have no real future. Would you keep your money somewhere where a single person can take down the network? Imagine if a gov wanted to attack an alt coin, they would laugh at how easy it is. give it 6 months and see what network looks weak and which secure.... only looks insecure as fewer ASICs out there and effect soo much greater in currencies infancy

y shy away from exchanges??
oh u looking to undercut the low ltc price as it is anyway ??
FYI
60LTC on BTC-E.com can be bought for 1.3536 BTC

What are the person(s) with avalons agenda? Are you attacking TRC simply for the money, or do you have some vested interest in it failing?
sigh.... an ASIC being pointed at one of the alt currencies DOES NOT MEAN THE CHAIN WAS ATTACKED. I actually did the logic in this myself.... What if You were one of the first people to get ur ASIC from Avalon. Great gtz and rolling in BTC on a price valuation that has you paying for the device basically in 2 days at most, more over the ones at the start have well and truely paid for themselves and then some. The miner then decides to not cash out any more BTC as the price rising and worthwhile holding onto the BTC to ride the price up high b4 selling... Low and behold the ASIC miner thinks that he/she will be kicked out of the mining game anytime soon as BFL are constantly supposed to be delivering next week for the last 6 months... and ASIC miner being switched on bit by bit it would seem and just waiting for 50TH to take a massive dump on the BTC earnings through mining... So the miner has a choice.... speculate on the alts that the ASIC can mine and mine the fuck outta them till u have a stupidly nice hoard of coins and just sit on them for a few years till enough ASICs fully protect the networks, all manner of services have caused the coins to be worth a Lot more than they are now.... for one days / one weeks work.... you speculate and the gain is massive, as opposed to the lost revenue of mining BTC which is somewhat negligable especially as the coins are more profitable to mine than BTC atm... Just my thoughts..... don't like them? don't read it

PPcoin works slightly differently with block reward depending on network hashrate... by performing a getinfo command against the daemon it tells you in the moneysupply feild.... was about 18,000,000 or so but someone might want to get a better more accurate figure

no it appears exchange is closing to a sad sad day for us all :~(
|
|
|
the premine was kinda "hidden"....
what I heard was that reward for first 1000 blocks was 5000, then 500, then settleing down to 50... no one except the developers got in on the early early coins i believe... but i'm going off memory here and don't have time to find posts atm, but it in the Bytecoin main thread

Really sorry to hear doublec, your exchange was actually my favourite well with BTC-e about to take on trc and PPC suppose things are getting pretty serious. Anyone need a vircurex referal link for cheaper fees on trading the here https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?referral_id=45-2213Also can i just confirm as it been a number of months since i setup my account on TRC and PPC on your exchanges.... I take itthat the emergency withdraw addys were required for both BTC and the altcoin upon registration? I'll probably just wait for automatic withdraws if thatthe case as i'm off for a week as of today and access to wallets not going to be as easy, but don't want funds to get lost in the shutdown. again sorry to see u go keep up the excellent pool mining work though please

The news of BTC-E accepting TRC is thrilling for all TRC users. Where's the announcement? http://postimg.org/image/baigc8dkx/also did you guys hear TRC will be traded at a new trading platform, www.crypto-trade.com, opening in 10 days. so what that means is TRC is about to skyrocket for sure. I'm glad I got in. i lost alot of coins in an inpatient trade but I should get back up to speed I lost about a quarter of all my TRC. that market is ruthless sometimes. if TRC makes it to crypto-trade AND btc-e its going to be birthed did you gUYS SEE that huge spike that just went straight up to 1985 bitcoins per terracoin. it was like light to the heavens straight up. it broke the graphs! tomorrow will be an exciting day for trc, let's keep people informed so they can invest early too. there is still echoes of "TRC TRC TRC" all through the troll box at btc-e I wonder what will happen in the days to come. http://postimg.org/image/hhq5par7h/how do you put images on the post? anyway, see yall tomorrow!! Just wrap the URL in open and closed img tag like [img]http://postimg.org/image/hhq5par7h[/img]

this has been raised before, and Saltyspoons response was for people to use the naming convention [LTC] at the start of the thread title.
The problem is many coins come and go in and out of fashion... the full list of coins is extensive and not some 3 months ago there was request for subforums LTC, PPC, FRC, TRC seemed the popular at the time... then some people wanted RUC... but where that ended up? so stick to SaltySpoons recommendation and start ur threads like:
[WTB][TRC] - Want to buy TRC for and alt currency pls...
or
[PPC] Help wallet doesn't seem to load blockchain!!

Terracoin network now has an estimated hashpower over 4.5 Tera hash/second! I thought that it must have been a mistake, but then again people and the mining pools may have finally finished the obligatory upgrade to the latest client. PPC has close to 2 Tera hash/second as well.
Yeah seeing the hashing power of many miners, it appears that a large number of serious miners are in on the altcoins

yup i'm getting some nice trades in

Bounties and the bitcoin share list add up to 50. I estimate writing will be around 30. Marketing should be around 8, for a total of 88. The unexpected might bring this to 100, making each generation share 1.8 million devcoins. At a price of 1.5 BTC/MDVC, that multiplies to 2.7 BTC. By using your calculation the Bounty of 9MDVC for a Andorid Client/Server type wallet means 13.5 BTC Yup is why i bought an android phone to give this a proper go... shame it didn't turn up today fingers crossed for tomorrow
