nothing good is free.  Or lets say rarely free.  I belive in paying people for their work if its worth it to me, and this is worth it to me.  Some agree, others don't it's all good.

Thanks it's getting better and better!  =)  not regretting buying this at all from you =)
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Opinion on using this 480 over a 390 for Eth on: January 27, 2017, 04:52:40 PM
your 390's also eat twice the power.  Efficiency and decent hash get RX if you don't care about power get 390.  that card looks very turdy though.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PascalCoin OpenCL mining on: January 27, 2017, 01:53:00 PM
Like I said in the other thread.

Based on the average difficulty I found 100% more than I should of found. However with my RX 470/480 rigs on Pascalminer 0.2, I haven't found a single block.

Either the miner software is messed up, gives incorrect speeds, RX 470/480 produce nothing but hardware errors due to modded mem straps, etc, etc.

With older GPUs like 280x there are no issues.

yeah i have 120 cards pointed at it and nothing.  all my cards are the RX so I think this thing dont like new cards... back to eth!

nah server ones are loud as hell and if you thought the panda is loud.... wait till you get those.  Get the Linux OS and rom from Eliovp and all you will need is the 1300.  OR get a 240V Circut ran.

If you have a 20A 240V plug you can run:
3 Pandas EASY and still be at about 15 Amps.

I have 4 pandas and got this ROM and Linux off of Eliovp.  If i had one word to describe the whole setup it's: Badass!

Works like a champ, easy to setup and efficient as hell.  I am considering more based on what I am seeing right now.  If you are thinking getting it, get it.  It's expensive but in my humble option, it's for sure worth it.

yeah if you have enough miners it will save you money.

my stock xmr is 5950 at 990 watts

Eliovp  xmr is 6400 at 830 watts

so  in a month 120 kwatts total of 12 dollars at 10 cents  a kwatt

and in a month it earns about 1.86 extra XMR about 22.20

so 1 panda = 34 a month more profit

Basically  3  pandas would be 100 a month  a fairly fast payback.  for the price.

Yeah it's well worth it IMO.  Stable as fook and you can globally manage it.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner Launches Global Sales! on: January 25, 2017, 09:53:03 PM
its a great wall PS, think OCZ over here its 1600 watt 240 VOLT ONLY.  I personally don't care since i run on 240 but most will run 120 making it useless for them.

Thanks. Need to find something similar for the US.

EVGA 1300 prob all you need with Eliovp roms but a 1600 is better.  Unfortunately they are not 80 bucks hehe

Any luck on getting picture of the Motherboard to see part # or what brand they are using?

Brand?  they make their own.  Bios is AM Megatrends.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner Launches Global Sales! on: January 13, 2017, 02:01:58 PM
i have a couple as well and they are solid.  Only issue is trying to talk to them is like talking to a brick wall.  None of them speak english well enough to decipher wtf they are trying to tell you.  I'm positive they use google translator or something.  So count on no support.  Time will tell how durable they are but at first glance they are rock solid.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4 (Windows/Linux) on: January 13, 2017, 12:58:29 PM
I have 2 panda miners.  I copied claymore over and set it up like I always do and I can't get it to be seen on ethman.  Everything works like a champ but I just cant see it so it;s quite annoying.  Any ideas?

I have:
deleted folder
added another folder
ran as admin

all the normal stuff.  Like I said it runs I just cant monitor it.  Any help would rock.  Thanks!

Have you checked if windows firewall isn't activated on the pandaminer and block access to the claymore admin port ?

Wow, what a rookie move.  That was it.  I did stop it but in my hurry i only did private and not turn everything off.  Thanks amigo!!

Plus its Chinese windows and changing it to English it's still half Chinese.  It's a pain in the arse!

im mining eth right now at 230 eth.  ran for 12 hours no crashes yet

That is interesting. Did you do activation, language pack installation, drivers updates or just start mining?

Both Phil and citronick have similar issue with crashing miner while ETH mining. And both of them had a difficulties with language pack.

lang pack install, was a bitch because i don't read Chinese, then deleted all of their stuff and transferred my copies on usb of claymores zcash / eth and monero and started mining.  I just cant get claymore ethman to see it.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Review of Panda Miner coming up. on: January 11, 2017, 03:32:29 PM
Phil and citronick,

Basically as a summary - with existing software Panda Miner is useless for mining most profitable right now ETH coin. Am I right?

I cant get Claymore's ethman to see these miners.  No matter what I do.  Anyone get that going and if so how the hell did you do that?

I inquired about a dist in the USA but it's not worth it to peddle their wares.  you make like 50 bucks a unit.  Then to repair units in or out of warranty he wants you to buy the parts in advace to hold a stock then if you get one for repair you use your parts and then the distributor is stuck with sending the stuff to china on the dist dime.  That is a bad deal from the word go.  Good luck signing chumps up for that deal.  If you were smart you would have a USA repair center and not try to screw them.

Hi, this is not strictly required for the spare parts stock but we want the repair and replace solve asap . Also you can be a good distributors, when you help users to repair and replace their miners.

I don't think you get what I said.  I agree to stock spare parts, but under warranty you need to pay shipping both ways because this is a repair for you!  Also you should compensate the company doing the repair, it's not like our time is free.  This is how distribution works.  Also 50 per unit is nothing, there should be a wholesale price or something based on qty.  Also lets say we order 20 units the warranty should begin when we sell them not when you do.
