7881  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha /or similar service/ for newbies and jr.membrs, to prevent bots. on: May 14, 2018, 01:50:05 PM
It doesn't need to be captcha, that's why i put "or similar" see Binance login for example, no need to write anything, it's just to drag one puzzle piece to place, that's all. I don't think that it will slow down the users, and is also mobile friendly too. It's just an example, it can be

As I know, BitCaptcha (example that you've posted) is dead. It's not possible to access their site anymore and they weren't accepting new publishers in recent months.
And I heard that almost all captchas (except Google ReCaptcha maybe) can be easily bypassed.
But I support your suggestion. As I remember, now Newbies have to solve simple SMF captcha before sending PM's, but it can't stop @hypebtc bots. So, I think that only Google ReCaptcha can help to prevent bots who are sending PM's and posting on bitcointalk.
7882  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: May 14, 2018, 10:46:49 AM

please give me the faucet link  Cry
Which one faucet? If you are talking about Coinpot tokens, there are no faucet for these coins. You can get it by claiming from all Coinpot faucets.
7883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Medium for bounties on: May 13, 2018, 10:43:42 PM
Hi, I would like to know the views of people that use Medium for bounty. Do campaigns ask for a number of followers or you can just start? What are the basics? Can profit be made? Thanks for your kind advice.
genuine bounties are very good source of income. Mark the word "genuine". Good icos do bounties that you can participate and earn good tokens. Your number of followers matter. Most Twitter bounties require 1,000-2,000followers verified by twitter audit.
Where did he asked about Twitter followers? He is asking, how much Medium followers he need to participate in bounty campaigns. Please read more carefully before replying.

OP, I think it depends on campaign that you want to join. Before joining campaign just read their rules and requirements. If you can't find info that you neeed l, then you can try ask bounty manager about it.
7884  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much cost to pay someone to set up faucet (and basic tutorial) on: May 13, 2018, 10:34:42 PM
I recommend to follow tutorial which was posted by user above and set up faucet yourself. As you can see it's not rocket science. If you can't do it, I think that you wont be able to run successful faucet. Because faucet owner need to set up advertisements, find best positions for, check which is most profitable, fight with bots and etc.
I would recommend to get a free hosting and domain, try to set up faucet on it without risks. If you will be able to do that, then get cheap hosting and domain and upload your faucet to it.
7885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 13, 2018, 10:12:18 PM
Barcelona lost to Levante 5:4 and experienced first loss in La Liga this season. Messi wasn't in squad today, but it's not reason why Barca lost. They just played on vacations mode and didn't wanted to get injuries before upcoming World Cup. And when Levante scored 5th goal Barca finally started to play and was close to amazing comeback. Barca played in not their main squad, but it was strange that most experienced players like Alba, Sergio and Suarez were most awful tonight.
It's sad that Barca didn't ended season without defeats, but Levante deserved to win, they are in amazing shape in recent weeks. And I can't remember when Barca conceded 5 goals in La Liga last time.
7886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for newbies, who want to avoid over-quoting on: May 13, 2018, 11:04:36 AM
It's a great suggestion,  and not only for newbies, many more experienced members over-quoting posts. In past I also did same thing - I posted huge quotes despite that I only replied to last comment. I thought it's ok because I saw so many experienced members posting huge quotes. And only later I realised how it's annoying and not comfortable to read.
And small tip from me. When you're quoting post with image, delete
Code:
[img][/img
tag and leave only link to image.
7887  Other / Meta / Re: suggestions and help update bitcointalk forums on: May 12, 2018, 11:30:55 PM
There was already hundreds of offers to implement 2FA, but it's not likely that theymos will add it to current forum software. Theorically, it's possible to implement it to current SMF version, but as I understand theymos has made lot of modifications to this forum and now it's far from oroginal version. Iplementing thing like 2FA can be problematic, I think.
I heard may be on the new forum software they will add 2FA feature. I really did not understand anything from the 2nd picture. What did you mean in that?

Yeah, I also hear that there will be some kind of 2FA on new forum software. But when? We are waiting for it for so many years and I highly doubt that it will be realeased in this decade.
7888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Browser Miner on: May 12, 2018, 11:14:48 PM
Mostly web miner scripts such as Coinhive are mining Monero and some other altcoins which are best for CPU mining. I don't know Ethereum web miners.
Maybe some faucets are saying that you can mine BTC, ETH, DOGE and other coins, but they are just using same Monero mining scripts. You mine Monero and these faucets are paying in other coins by live exchange rate. You can try to look at Faucethub mining faucets.
But web mining it's just not wort even if you have new powerful PC. You can't earn significant amounts by using web miners. Your PC just will use more electricity and it's likely that you wont earn enough to cover it.
7889  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BATNET Faucet on: May 12, 2018, 06:42:01 PM
First of all, please fix link that you've posted. It should be http://xt7577.000webhostapp.com/ , not http://"http://xt7577.000webhostapp.com". Secondly, it's not a good idea to start faucet with free domain and hosting. As faucet owner you will have very limited options to monetize your faucet because mostly ad networks don't accept free hosted faucets. As I see, now you are trying to monetize it mainly with affiliate banners of faucets. Also, using 000webhost your faucet will be in sleep mode for 1 hour everyday and users wont be able to access it. And your website name is too difficult to remember. I recommend to get a domain and hosting, it's not such expensive thing.
And some positive things - I like your clean design without many annoying popups and miner scripts and 13 Satoshis is a good reward.
7890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MERITS? on: May 11, 2018, 02:37:36 PM
Oh, people are still complaining about Merit system?
I can agree that now it's more difficult to rank up, but who said that it should be easy? Some people are buying Merits, but they are risking to get red trust rating, also I suspect that it would be every expensive to buy enough Merits to reach high rank. And these who are selling their sMerit sooner or later will run out of it.
I noticed that amounts of Merit that people are sending are getting smaller. It's most likely that they spent all their sMerit that their had. Maybe others are just become lazy to spend their sMerit.
And another thing - I saw stats somewhere that huge number of forum users still haven't sent any of their sMerit, I don't know, maybe they are still not aware about Merit system. If people would use their sMerit more actively we would see less people complaining that's too difficult to get Merit.
Merit system isn't perfect, but it's one of the best thing happened to Bitcointalk in recent years. It can be improved somehow, but I don't have ideas how.
7891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE FAUCETS BULLSHIT OR NO???? on: May 11, 2018, 02:13:27 PM
Faucets aren't bullshit. You hardly can earn much from faucets, but still, it's free money and you don't need to have specific knowledge to earn. Personally, I think that faucets are better than airdrops, because it's small, but guaranteed money. While from airdrops sometimes you can get just some worthless tokens which will be never listed on exchange.
Nowadays mostly people are saying that faucets are waste of time. They said same thing 4, 3 or 2 years ago. I can't agree. If you know how to get referrals and you decide to hodl your earnings, it may became worth your time. From my personal experience I can say that I earned from faucets more than from signature campaign for example.
7892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcion forum User name on: May 10, 2018, 08:18:01 PM
When signing up on bitcointalk and other forums users are requested to create username, they don't need to reveal their name and surname. Username by itself can't be fake.
Mostly people here prefer to stay anonymous here and don't reveal their real identity. Personally, I don't see any reasons why I would need to use my name and surname on Bitcointalk.
But there are more or less users who are posting here with their real names, well, that's their choice.
7893  Other / Meta / Re: Crypto related stuff in non altcoins board on: May 10, 2018, 07:01:06 PM
For me it's very annoying to see so many topics about bounties, airdrops and similar altcoin related stuff in Beginners & help board, but I think this board fits best to make such threads. It doesn't belongs to Bitcoin board, it's under word "Other". It's something similar like we are allowed to talk about altcoins in Serious discussion board which is located bellow Beginners and help board.
7894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to make a custom signature? on: May 09, 2018, 09:18:43 PM
Hey all,

I wanted to make an advertisement for my website in my signature for forums, does anyone know how I can do this is there a program I dl or something?

I think you problem have solved. Because you have put your advertisement on your signature section.
Please read more carefully what OP are asking for. He are wearing signature code given by his signature campaign, but he want to create custom signature for his own needs.
OP, I recommend to follow tutorials which was posted by TryNinja. If you still don't know how to create signatures, you can hire a designer at Services board.
7895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 09, 2018, 09:11:51 PM
Huge win by Barca against Villarreal 5:1. Iniesta showing masterclass in his last matches in Barca. Dembele scored 2 goals in the end of match. 2 games for Barca remaining this season - away vs Levante and against Sociedad at home - it's very likely that they finnish season undefeated.
While Real Madrid are loosing against Sevilla 0:2 (5 minutes until end of match). But they are playing without almost all their main players. It's very important win for Sevilla to secure their place in Europa league qualification.
7896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The chance of my FB/Twitter account ban during bounty program period? on: May 09, 2018, 02:19:58 PM
If you participate in 30 social media bounties at the same time, it's likely that your Twitter/FB will be suspended for spamming or at least you will be asked to verify your identity. I'm not bounty hunter, so I can't give100% accurate answers but I'm sure that mostluy of bonty hunters have at least few social accounts. But you should know that social networks become very strictly about crypto related stuff, especially affiliate links and bounties.
7897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: May 09, 2018, 02:07:59 PM

7898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: May 08, 2018, 08:19:48 PM
recently i have watching the news that the referee for champion league final match is Milorad Mazic and if i'm not mistaken he has been declared as the worst referee during world cup 2014 because he has made several controversial decission during that tournament but while plenty of referee with good reputation available in europe but i was wondering why he was choosen
Yeah, he made some bad decisions in World Cup 2014, but it was already quite long time ago. After that he worked well in Euro 2016, he also was appointed to World Cup 2018. And actually, we hardly can referee who didn't made any contraversial decisions and Mazic isn't exeption. Well, I would prefer too see Felix Brych, Cuneyt Cakir or Bjorn Kuipers appointed for UCL final, but I don't see serious reason to complain about referee before the game.
7899  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Moonbit.co weekly payment on: May 08, 2018, 02:28:58 PM
I'm on the same boat as you guys.  I have old Moonbitcoin account with Bitcoin address which was created few years ago, I have lot of referrals on that account and I always received weekly payouts until 25th of March. Unfortunately, I can't link this account with my Coinpot account - it's impossible to sign a message from Coinbase address and I also can't make deposit from.
I suspect that Coinpot owner silently decided to silently remove option to get weekly payouts for users who are claiming with Bitcoin address and force to create Coinpot account. I noticed that few days ago message "Weekly payment run completed" which was shown at the top of the page was removed from all Moon faucets. And maybe it's not related, but Facebook page of Moon Bitcoin disappeared recently. It sucks that we can't get answer from Coinpot owner what's going on... I'm realky worried.
7900  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: warning, phishing sites in google search on: May 08, 2018, 02:14:54 PM
I heard many stories about advertisements of phishing wallets shown in Google Search results. And I noticed that it become common to advertise phishing web wallets for coins like TRX, ADA, XLM, EOS and others. Many people don't know wallets for these coins, so after making Google search for wallets for these coins they just visit first website that they see in search results.
But soon these advertisements of phishing websites will disappear - Google will ban crypto related advertisements on June.
