7961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative Block Chains : be safe! on: March 16, 2018, 10:18:17 AM
Alternative Blockchain can be a real fake sometimes.
Fake and scam, this is why Gavin made this thread to warn others that we should have our own judgement and can follow the tips he given through points at the OP.

Hello all!

Is it possible to later change our coins from ethereum to bitcoin?
Hi, do you mean atomic swap?

For now you can exchange your ETH to bitcoin or vice versa with the use of exchanges. That's the easiest way of changing or converting any of them as you wish.
7962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for ETH? on: March 15, 2018, 01:28:04 PM
Here in my country there's a new revised in coins.ph wallet we can store eth coins here.A new product of this coins and this is great that we dont need to restore any wallet in our etherium.I trust this wallet for a year and I know it will be safer and secured.

I hope you are from Philippines. There are huge amount of people from your country here on this forum. I am not sure using the wallet which is been used mostly from your country people.
If you are using wallet always go with the universally widely used wallet and try have the decentralized wallet as your preference. To have ethereum you can MEW which is private key secured wallet. If looking for centralized wallet coinbase is your option.
Coins.ph is a wallet base on the Philippines but it has also operations with other nearby countries in Asia.

It's the most well known wallet because of the convenience that you can withdraw it to cash immediately with various means of cashing out.

But that's the other end of using an exchange wallet, you don't have the private keys of it.
7963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: March 15, 2018, 01:07:38 PM
for the moment the Bank is still standing upright, then how is the continuation of the bank if Crypto already stand alone and in the public know so that in use fully and all countries wear it.
Banks has been there since the time the means of currency is through gold and silver so their continuation isn't a question even there's cryptocurrencies who can be our very own bank.

People has the right to choose if they will stay with banks which is not questionable because many believes and trust the banks.

is there going to be a temporary panic in the financial world? .... and all the banks in every country collapse is that what will happen hopefully there is no market panic
There's no need for them to panic, they will stay as long as the government will have the control to a country's economy.
7964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is "stake" on bounty? on: March 15, 2018, 12:33:21 PM
Is it a token or a coin?
Token or coin, it's just the same. But there's no exact value amount or number the stakes you will receive from any bounty campaign that you joined.

You are lucky if the bounty gets a lot of investors and was able to reach their hard cap or even only their soft cap.

But you are unlucky if the bounty stops at the middle of it campaign and declares they will no longer pursue it.

Normally stakes are calculated and divided base on the standard allocation they will give weekly / monthly.

No mate, I know it hurts and that's a lot of money but you don't end your life that way. There's more to go and don't lose hope, this isn't the end.

If your family doesn't trust you, don't use it as a reason to make everything go wrong with your life.

my job is trading as broker but i didn't expect that. rise and fall different things.
You should expect the worst with trading, this isn't an easy job but I understand that this problem isn't your fault but hitbtc's.

7968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 13, 2018, 04:14:55 PM
We played DOTA back then and we always manage to win but in a certain time we go to one of our School mates place to gamble and my team ended up losing .
I miss those days that I'm still addicted to DOTA and even late night my friends and I were going on a round trip looking for another team to play with some bets.

It's so good to remember those times when I don't care about what life is because I was younger then and I'm on those days that my mind isn't maturing yet.

I don't consider those losing days walking go home as a walk of shame, it's a walk of fun with my friends but I experienced to be disappointed going home without anything left.
7969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is best signature bounty campaign for newbie on: March 13, 2018, 03:55:23 PM
Hello I am looking for bounty campaign which allows to participate newbies for  their signature campaign.
There's no campaign that is accepting newbie member. Wait for the activity update and that will make you junior member.

Tune in to yahoo's campaigns he's the only one that is accepting junior member in some of his campaign but it can change to member rank for the lowest rank if he wish to.

I can't find any campaign at any bounty that is accepting newbie / junior member.
7970  Economy / Services / Re: I need someone to receive PayPal payments and send me BTC in exchange? on: March 13, 2018, 03:44:32 PM
Why not just exchange your PayPal fund with bitcoin through virwox?

There are new KYC checks implemented in Virwox withdrawal via paypal(with larger sums of money). I'm not certain what the cutoff is. Or if it only applies to larger amounts. But if you sell a decent amount of bitcoin on virwox and withdraw via paypal your money will be forwarded to skrill and you won't be able to access it unless you verify your identify and provide all personal information.

If someone exchanges smaller amounts of btc on virwox without a KYC check through skrill let me know, please. I would be interested to know details about this.
I haven't used virwox for many months so I don't have any idea if they are now implementing new rules on PayPal > Bitcoin conversion.

He knows this option exist but he wont want to go this route because it would be difficult to carry out such reversal on platforms like this without serious consequences simply because of the controls that ave been put in place to avoid situations like and the amount of verification to be done, its best to avoid it all together.
It can be but he didn't replied yet so he may know it or he don't really know it, any of the two still I want to warn others with this type of trade.
7971  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICOs, stop worrying about SEC! on: March 13, 2018, 02:45:19 PM
For those USA residents, they are the one that must worry that's the article says.

This applies for those who wants to start out their ICO's.

Are you the one that wrote this article?
7972  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: March 13, 2018, 01:42:28 PM
use a support ticket.
This won't help. Lots of yobit users are doing this "send a ticket" feature of them but it's not working.

Instead of getting some hope, it's giving them the idea on how yobit is totally doesn't care about the users problem and they are quiet with it.

I've getting my wallet is online, but my deposit didn't appear, i check etherscan, my balance on there, but on my yobit account wallet is 0.. Yobit is BIG SCAMMER !!!!!!
The same problems as others.  Undecided
7973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term ICO Project to invest in? Just invested some good ICO's on: March 13, 2018, 01:12:23 PM
Never heard or read about those projects that you mentioned.

Are you really looking for some other ICO's to invest or you are just giving others an idea that they should invest with those two too?

What I can see here is you are advertising those two ICO's here. Anyway if that's not your intention, you can look to Eligma on my signature.
7974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for ETH? on: March 13, 2018, 12:54:57 PM
MEW is the best choice overall. This is good about ETH, that you have all the software you need at the reach of your hand and with a nice UI
Yes, MEW is the best choice of most of the ETH users/holders here.

But as a wallet, it's being targeted and imitated by too many phishing websites and it is not safe for someone that is careless online.

I would rather choose a wallet that is also secured like Ledger Nano S or Trezor but if you don't have budget, Exodus or Jaxx will do.
7975  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online Bitcoin wallet ? on: March 12, 2018, 03:25:33 PM
for me is FreeBitco.in the best alternatives im storing y coins there now since 3 years and the have best fees !
Be careful of not storing your bitcoins on that type of wallet. It's risky to use a gambling website wallet for putting most of your coins.

I wouldn't gamble the security of my coins to a gambling website but if that is just a small amount, it's fine I guess.

Just don't trust any of them with your coins for long term.
7976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe that this man crashed Bitcoin this 2018? on: March 12, 2018, 03:01:15 PM
Not 2018, it's too early to say that this year ends and its the only reason that can lead the market to crash.

But I believe that guy is the reason for the current crash that we experienced. And everyone believes that after this incident bitcoin can go to another ATH due to this.

I do not think he is the reason why Bitcoin crashed in the late quarter of 2017 and early 2018. Many many factors contribute to that crash and many even agree that it was really not a crash but bitcoin is just correcting itself after the FOMO of 2017.
He is one of the contributor for this current crash.
7977  Economy / Services / Re: java dev needed for a small job on: March 12, 2018, 08:03:37 AM
You can post this on the right section so that you will get attention and potential dev that can work for you.

Post it on Services or you can also search some devs or freelancers through these websites.

https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/freelancers
https://workingforbitcoins.com/category/software_development

thought this is the space for altcoin projects, so posted here. thank you!
If you are going to pay for altcoins, you should post this on Marketplace (Altcoins)

Service Discussion is about experience and comment of a certain software, website, development and other services.

So you are on the wrong section.
7978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: March 12, 2018, 07:36:51 AM
One month ago a transfer for 20,000 tron coins was stuck in withdraw mode, after 3 days it showed the transaction as completed. Coins were never transferred nor placed back in to my Yobit wallet.. Transaction does not show up on blockchain, so I know they were never sent.... I have sent a ticket nearly every other day for a month and have gotten no response, all tickets still showing new.. I am assuming that they have been stolen by Yobit until support can make it right....
Only two things that possibly happen with this. It's either you are correct or they are just delaying your withdrawal.

We all know what yobit has been doing for years of their operation. Too many complains that are popping everyday with their wallet and coins that are on maintenance.

20,000 TRX is quite a good amount of money. Give up on contacting them, they are known for having the slowest support ever.

But wait for those your tickets to get responded and viewed by any of their representative.
7979  Economy / Services / Re: I need someone to receive PayPal payments and send me BTC in exchange? on: March 12, 2018, 07:13:29 AM
Be careful if there is someone that is interested to this offer.

The OP is a newbie and doesn't have any reputation and can just forget his account when someone bites to hits bait.

And as alone055 said, its cautious to deal with someone on PayPal because transactions are reversible there so after sending him the btc payment.

He can reverse the transaction and dispute the PayPal payment.

I receive payments for goods and services but would prefer to receive it in Bitcoin to cashout.
Why not just exchange your PayPal fund with bitcoin through virwox?
7980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you long term or short term? on: March 12, 2018, 06:33:17 AM
For less stress, it's better to be a long term holder but you can't avoid those times that you have to eliminate some of your coins in your portfolio to avoid loss.

Your two mentioned strategies are even working. Setup to the highest price that you can reach before selling and as long as the price increased, you can sell.

These two will work depending on the situation and your eagerness and your feeling if you earned enough.
