81  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if trading in Bitcoin was your source of income? on: March 26, 2018, 07:46:18 PM
What are the effects of these days dips for you as a trader?

Bitcoin was not made primarily to be a tool for speculation or a source of income.
The price does not settle at a certain range and it is not possible to predict a rise or a fall.
Instead of speculating on the price, provide services that can help others and accept bitcoin as a payment method.
The biggest problem these days for traders is the price contraction
For traders there are no problems with the drop in the price of bitcoin. Perhaps you are not a trader and therefore do not understand the specifics of this process. Traders sell and buy coins at any price level. Volatility of coins is at any level and therefore from falling prices suffer only those people who are set for long-term storage of coins.
82  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-23]Regulators to Close Binance in Japan. Binance Moving to EU on: March 25, 2018, 01:13:32 PM
this is strange,Japan basically, shooting itself in the foot
they were proclaimed the next bitcoin heaven being one of the few countries that legalised bitcoins
and now this precedent with one of the largest exchanges in the wold moving to Europe
no idea what is going on behind the scenes, butthis not a good move by the goverment
maybe try to compromise rather than blatantly prohibit
There is nothing surprising. Japan supports the use of cryptocurrencies but only at the local level. Try to pass verification on the Japanese exchange if you have a passport of a citizen of another country! Binance wants to provide an opportunity for all to have access to Vietnam pairs. It will be the best stock exchange in the world.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the new bull markert on: March 24, 2018, 01:39:39 PM
Too soon to call it honestly, seeing that there isn't a definite trend created over the past few days even with the strings of good and bad news bombarding the crypto world. Even with the positive conclusion on crypto talks @ the G20 summit didn't secure a breach @ $9000 which everyone was hinting at. For now, there is some form of resistance standing @ $9000 that we cannot break just yet, so any further pushes might not be possible at the mean time and the game, as of now, is a stalemate.
It's very simple for me. Recently, the whales spread fud that the reason for the price drop was the sale of a large number of coins after the bankruptcy of mtgox. The network even posted the address of the accounts on which there are 160 000 bitcoins. Do you think that in such conditions there will be a significant increase in prices? No it will not. Someone very rich wants to buy all coins cheaper. They will do everything to prevent price increases.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2017 was maybe the last era of bitcoin? on: March 23, 2018, 02:40:39 PM
If you are talking about speculation - then maybe, but I don't believe so. You know that experts are predicting 100.000 USD in a matter of a couple of years, right?
But if you are talking about technology - you couldn't be more wrong. Bitcoin is in it's adolescence phase, testing the real life and adopting to scaling problems. Once dealt with ..... the sky of adoption will be the limit.
What expert opinion do you trust? I can cite many examples of statements by experts who say that bitcoin is a bubble and it will cost nothing. In fact, no one knows the future of bitcoin. I think that a lot depends on our actions. We are responsible for the existence and prices of bitcoin. All experts voice only what we want to hear in order to be popular.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: More bad news: G20 wants to regulate crypto's on: March 23, 2018, 02:30:43 PM
Dear sjefdeklerk, rivaling is a bad news, expected, but bad. It was expected that bankers would like to impose their centralism in this high potent technology..... but "regulation"..... it's been some now since I am trying to fight this nonsense.

You can get more informed about the difference between regulation and prohibition in this topic I created earlier: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3117357.msg32275612#msg32275612

Better regulation and better usability will inevitably lead to more investments and attract traditional investors who will bring some serious money in this world. They started to enter at the end of last year, but they are still being drawn back by bad security and user-non-friendliness.

Why do you think that people with big money are attracted to bitcoin by its regulation. I think it's absurd. Easy access to Fiat is only interested in small depositors. There are many of them but their share in bitcoin capitalization is very small. Therefore, we see panic at any major sale of coins. It seems to me that any regulation can only push people away from bitcoin.
86  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cambridge Analytica type tricks used to FUD crypto? on: March 23, 2018, 02:25:40 PM
I'm not interested in someone helping Trump become President. I wonder who paid for it. I still consider him an agent of the Russians. But this method of promoting trump says that those who support him fools. In my choice it is impossible to influence from outside. I always do my own analysis. But many people do not have their own opinion and this can be a problem for everyone.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018-03-22 Zcash's Coming Hard Fork Could Pave the Way for Even More on: March 23, 2018, 02:19:36 PM
Transaction speed is a significant reason, but it seems to me that the main problem for all altcoins is protection against asics. Why now to do fork if this question is not yet resolved? In order for the coin to be decentralized, mining should be decentralized as much as possible. This can only be achieved with the help of the GPU. I think that all coins that allow mining asics at the initial stage of development will be doomed. Maybe this year we can expect a lot of different forks.
88  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: G20 Sets July Deadline for Crypto Regulation Talk on: March 23, 2018, 02:12:25 PM
Now there is a tough confrontation between bankers and cryptocurrencies. Governments have long been financed by bankers and therefore take their side. But governments can not prohibit the use of cryptocurrency. They are horrified to think that if cryptocurrencies go into trade it will be the end of Fiat power. Perhaps this is the main reason that no action is being taken. Until the issue of control was resolved, governments took a wait-and-see attitude.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex will remove 82 tokens on: March 22, 2018, 04:58:43 PM
I believe Bittrex made a good choice in removing these coins. The volume is so small that it is not worth the effort in maintaining the coins.
Probably you're so happily say because I am not the owner of these tokens. Think about the fact that someone is a tragedy. I understand that this decision was made under pressure. But I'm not happy about it. I feel sorry for the investors. For me, this message looks like an obituary.
90  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MrGox Trustee Sells more $700 Milion Today ( Bitcoin goes down again ) on: March 22, 2018, 04:48:27 PM
It seems to me that every person has the right to independently dispose of their money. Why are people outraged? When these coins were purchased and the price of bitcoin grew all rejoiced. Now such a panic. The fall in prices is a temporary phenomenon. If you believe in bitcoin, you must safely survive this period.
91  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-22]Venezuelan Cryptocurrency Petro Banned by Trump Executive Order on: March 22, 2018, 04:35:45 PM
A lot of people were naively thinking that state-issued cryptocurrency can help countries like Venezuela and Russia circumvent sanctions, but this just shows how silly that idea was. When the West is serious about sanctions, they will make sure to leave no obvious loopholes. If those countries really wanted to circumvent sanctions, they should be using Bitcoin and Monero, but this is only suitable for small amounts - large volumes would be easily spotted by chain analysis.
The use of bitcoins will not help countries that are under sanctions to solve this problem. They are primarily interested in the availability of the dollar. All international payments are made in dollars. They need currency. Now most of the cryptocurrency exchanges require verification. Residents of these countries can not withdraw currency.
92  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-22]Snowden Revealed a Secret Document Showing How NSA Tracked Bitcoin U on: March 22, 2018, 04:31:23 PM
I don't really trust the words of Snowden. He is in Russia and may well work for the FSB. But I admit that possibility. Moreover, I think that such methods are used by all governments. Governments are always afraid that they will lose control of their citizens. Money is the best mechanism of control. Bitcoin collapses these schemes and therefore governments are looking for methods to combat cryptocurrency.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Multi GPU on: March 21, 2018, 01:38:39 PM
My first rig was assembled from all of the GPU which I could get due to the large deficit. So on this rig I have works 2's RX480, 2's RX580 and 2xHD7900. All of the GPU working without problems and install additional software. Profit HD 7900 very low but I don't unplug them because there is no free money to buy a more modern GPU.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: March 21, 2018, 01:29:35 PM
It seems to me that eth has very big prospects now. We do not know what will happen to all the coins that are mined on the cryptonight algorithm. Perhaps after the release of asics using this algorithm we are waiting for a lot of forks and loss of interest in the old coins. This makes eth safer for investment.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of coins i should hold for next 2 years... on: March 21, 2018, 01:24:22 PM
Hello there i want to build up my portfolio in the crypto world...right now i have started with ether and bought 2 ethereums..every month i will get salary and i will keep building my portfolio and plan to hold them for atleast 2 years...right now my next targets are NEO and WAVES..because by holding them i can earn gas and can lease waves to earn more as well and also these are coins with good potential....Bitcoin is already too high..please suggest me some more coins which i should buy and just hold them or forget them for next 2-3 years
Why are you so categorical? Bitcoin will give a minimum of x2 this year. But I think that growth will be even more. I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying altcoins. I am sure that eth and neo will show no worse results, but I want every portfolio to contain bitcoins. More than that I think bitcoin needs to make the most of your investment.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: March 21, 2018, 01:18:59 PM
Now you can buy any coins. Bitcoin has started a stable growth and it will revive the entire cryptocurrency market. Now, he's all in green. To guess specifically what level of growth in percentage ratio will have each coin separately impossible. This depends only on what coin investors will invest more money. But you won't lose money with any choice.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Control 6 RIGS on: March 20, 2018, 12:24:14 PM
I also use Teamviewer. This is a good program. But there is another option. I use it too. This is Ammyy admin. It does not require installation. This software uses less resources and works faster. Sometimes the Teamviewer server crashes and you cannot connect to my rigs. Then I use the second option.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone solo mining alt coins? on: March 20, 2018, 12:16:24 PM
I'm not asking for you to reveal what coins you are solo mining, just curious of anyone is doing it. I've seen the odd thread in here of people solo mining but seems like not many people do.
I would not recommend you to do it. Solo mining can be used only by those who believe in the opportunity to win the lottery. Now the profit margin of many coins has decreased to the minimum level. This is assuming that you will use the services of pools. The profit margin of solo mining will have a negative indicator. Are you ready to work at a loss?
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are there any optimists left? Is $100K still possible? on: March 20, 2018, 12:05:12 PM
Are there any optimists left? Is $100K still possible even by 2020 or 2021?

I no longer believe that bitcoin will be able to climb such a mark in a short period of time. I think this will happen no earlier than 2025, as the market of crypto-currency is too unstable.
It's sad to see people lose faith in bitcoin. What's the matter? Only 2 months of the fall and you gave up? It seems to me that you are mistaken. The black bar ends and now bitcoin will begin to recover. I am sure that by the end of the year everything will start to sing the praises of bitcoin. You can't. You need to be confident in their beliefs. Then you'll always win.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let me tell you exactly what's gonna happen on: March 20, 2018, 11:58:27 AM
1 week left

its coming guys, i hope you're ready!
You're a bad fortune teller. Today, March 20. Bitcoin 8500-8600 dollars. Ath 530-560 dollars. I see that now there are all conditions for the beginning of a stable rise in prices. This once again confirms that the forecasts for cryptocurrencies are ungrateful. You may also want to try their hand at divination on hand? There's more to be deceived.
