61  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: March 30, 2018, 04:54:41 PM
for me i prefer to invest on altcoin for now cause bitcoin is always fluctuating and i have doubts the price will not increase on this month so much better to covert all your bitcoin and invest on alt cause the growth rate of alts is growing.
Strange idea. Show me the altcoins that don't have volatility. Now in General, we can see the dependence of all altcoins on the price of bitcoin. I see that now bitcoin is gradually losing its capitalization. The same processes occur in all altcoins. But bitcoin has much more margin of safety. I am sure that bitcoin is now the safest cryptocurrency.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: March 30, 2018, 04:45:56 PM
In such an unstable time, I would recommend that you refrain from investing in any cryptocurrency. It can be very risky. But if you want to take a risk then I recommend now to buy only bitcoin. This is the most reliable of all cryptocurrencies and it can die the last. Perhaps now the capital will leave the altcoins and save bitcoin. What is the capital will support altcoins?
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth will have to change their code on: March 30, 2018, 04:38:43 PM
I refer to the opponents of the asic. I think it's the loss of coins. I don't attribute the current price drop Eth with rumors about what will be released by asic for the production of Eth. The collapse of prices in the entire cryptocurrency market provoked bitcoin. But I'm sure the appearance of asics will finally kill Eth. If acne is not a fool he must take action. With the existing trust level, one mistake is enough to lose a coin. The capital will go to bitcoin.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time to experience bear market in crypto getting worried my portfolio on: March 30, 2018, 04:24:06 PM
Unfortunately, no one knows the true reasons why the price of bitcoin falls. It seems to me that the reason for this is that the game entered the large whales of wall street. Until last year, they were not interested in bitcoin. But after they paid attention to it problems began. We're in their hands now. They can go to the cost and destroy the competitor or can buy a lot of cheap coins and become the main player. I'm more inclined to option 2.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: March 29, 2018, 03:49:18 PM
I am not surprised that the price of Eth is decreasing. It seems to me that all speculators are now withdrawing their capital in order to buy the maximum number of bitcoins. After they sell their bitcoins for 20K-30K dollars they will invest a part of the income in altcoins and will earn the second time. Don't panic and don't sell coins now.
66  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-29] Russian Hotels to Surprise World Cup Fans with Bitcoin Payments on: March 29, 2018, 03:44:48 PM
Are you not reading the news carefully? What does Russian hotels have to do with bitcoin? Payment system that has registration in another country pays Fiat for booking a room. Is it possible to call the reservation with bitcoin? Lol. I am still not sure whether this championship will be held in Russia. It is possible that this championship will boycott.
67  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: March 29, 2018, 03:38:29 PM
Why do banks destroy bitcoin, this is understandable. They cannot accept that someone is encroaching on their monopoly over our money. But bitcoin is not just attacked by banks. That the government is not attacking bitcoin? They also do not want to lose the financial leverage on all citizens. Big capital is also against bitcoin. They're losing money on our money. I'm sorry people don't understand that.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: March 29, 2018, 03:28:05 PM
Why buy bitcoins called investing? I do not think so. You change one currency to another. The fact that the value of a currency changes over time is a temporary phenomenon. These are speculative operations that have a lot of risks. Bitcoin is a currency for me and I am not interested in its price. I am interested in the opportunity to have income in bitcoins and the opportunity to make purchases for bitcoins.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Australia implements harsh anti-crypto tax laws. on: March 29, 2018, 03:22:58 PM

https://lets-talk.ato.gov.au/PAG/news_feed/consultation-substantiating-cryptocurrency-taxation-events
Every single trading of cryptos from one to another are now taxed, and cryptos are treated as an asset, rather than a currency.

By treating cryptos as a property/asset instead of a currency, Australia is effectively locking themselves off from becoming one of the leading crypto-tech countries. I expect startups and even big investors pulling their money out of Australia to more crypto friendly countries with less ridiculous taxation laws -- e.g. taxing only when cryptos is converted to/from fiat.

How can you track transactions between bitcoin users? It's unrealistic. In fact, you will pay taxes only after you sell cryptocurrency for Fiat. Now we see a tendency to move cryptocurrency business to offshore jurisdictions. Maybe we will pay a minimum percentage of the tax for opening an account in these countries and after that we will make a transfer to your country. No one will force you to pay taxes twice.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you feel the rise of BTC anytime soon? on: March 28, 2018, 01:05:24 PM
The Bitcoin has the huge price last December 2017 . And the price suddenly changed this year. Many members and especially those active traders have been disappointed with the sudden drop in bitcoin price. That's why people are often comparing the price of bitcoin last year.
We can not predict the price of Bitcoin this year. It's too early to say that the cryptomarkets are not in depths and gradually returns into the light. So i'm still waiting what is the good news happen in this year.
What do you think?

this decline is not without cause, and I think you are very aware of the factors that make this decline. we have speculated in the past two months. but the fact is, bitcoin still goes down. yes too early for speculation. because whenever there could be a decline again as well as its growth can occur in April. yes let's wait what will happen later.
Why in April? I do not think so. It seems to me that a substantial price increase need to wait till the autumn. Until this time, the price will not rise above the level of 12-14k dollars. Against the background of the current 8K dollars it seems a lot but for me any bitcoin price below 20K dollars is very small. I'm willing to wait.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News on: March 28, 2018, 12:58:57 PM
Lol! What's the good news? I am absolutely not afraid of the prohibition of advertising in Google, Facebook and Twitter. What ends the world of advertising on these monsters? I have no interest in banners on websites. They only annoy me. In order to get acquainted with the project it is better to read reviews and descriptions on special resources. For example, bitcointalk.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will keep moving downwards along with MA5 on: March 28, 2018, 12:54:01 PM
Another forecast that does not matter. It seems to me that people still have not realized that the forecasts on the cryptocurrency market do not work. It's amazing to me that someone believes them. For example, I am sure that bitcoin is now at the lowest level. Now we are at the foot of the mountain which very soon will show the price chart.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Forex is investment is a country on: March 27, 2018, 10:47:36 AM
For me Forex trading is a Scam. I will never use their services. Cryptocurrency exchanges are much better. If we solve the communication problem within the bitcoin community and bitcoin will be used as a currency we will be able to solve a lot of issues. Monsters of the currency and stock market are United and act as a United front. We need to learn from them to achieve good results.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: New money gets grabbed faster than speed of light on: March 27, 2018, 10:33:18 AM
Is it me or are last couple of weeks repeating? BTC dips to lower than low, people buy in and also new money comes in....BTC rises again, until (mostly whales) grab their chance to take a bit of profit again.

Are we not running the risk that at one point most people have tried the game and failed so no new money is coming in anymore?

Or is this still peanuts in the grand scheme of things (like 0,001% actually investing in crypto, so the big masses still have to come aboard)?

I do not see the inflow of new money into bitcoin. But this is not only a bitcoin problem. The entire cryptocurrency market shows a significant reduction in capitalization. Maybe it's the actions of whales. But maybe it's the consequences of non-segwit2x. The increasing pressure on bitcoin from governments and banks. All these problems have a negative effect on the entire cryptocurrency market.
75  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-25] Bitcoin to See Significant Improvements in Privacy and Scaling on: March 27, 2018, 10:27:03 AM
The problem of scaling is one of the most important current problems of bitcoin and its solution opens the door for its use in everyday needs. If on its basis it is possible to conclude smart contracts, then the role of bitcoin will significantly increase. Bitcoin will become a full-fledged king of the crypto currency.
All people are waiting for the solution of this problem and technically it can be done very quickly. But we know the position of the miners. That means we're all their hostages. I'm sorry, but the miners are only interested in their income. They do not care about the fate of bitcoin. Therefore, I do not expect any changes in the near future.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price falls 7 percent after Twitter's announcement of crypto ban on: March 27, 2018, 09:55:32 AM
I will never believe that the price of bitcoin depends on Google's position. Have you ever seen an ad of bitcoin in Google? The decline in bitcoin prices is associated with the position of whales. They are now interested in lowering prices to buy at a low price a large number of coins. I do not rule out that they even bribed the asset Manager of mtgox. But after they all buy the prices again will go up.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoins Strategies during downtrend? on: March 27, 2018, 09:46:46 AM
Now bitcoin sets the trend for all coins. Therefore, it makes no sense to invest in altcoins. I used to always sell bitcoin at the time of the fall and profit from the rise in prices for altcoins. This year, this strategy does not work. So I sold all the coins and bought bitcoin. I will be holding bitcoin until the end of the year. I think that the price increase will not be before the end of autumn.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment 🤔🤔🤔 on: March 26, 2018, 08:08:02 PM
2018 is significantly different from previous years. Let's see what happens. Earlier, when the price of bitcoin decreased, we saw a parallel growth of some altcoins. This year there is no such thing. We're seeing a steady drop in the price of all altcoins. This means that now there is no sense to invest in altcoins. They are waiting for the rise in bitcoin prices. Now I buy only bitcoins. Perhaps this will be the trend of this year.
79  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-25] Malta Wants to Become The Blockchain Island With largest exchange on: March 26, 2018, 07:59:49 PM
In the end, Malta's economic will grow and maybe in the next 2-3 years they can be considered a blockchain hub country, good moved by the Malta government, although there are still a lot of countries who are offering the same incentive as well like Belarus.

Belarus, while it offers crypto oriented businesses and startups a lot freedom and tax advantages, it's still an unstable country, which isn't exactly the right place to settle yourself as one of the main players in the global market. It all comes down to find a place to settle yourself at from which you know you aren't subject to unstable governments changing their laws based on their mood.

I read that Spain is also working its way up, and this is just the start. I expect that even the main countries in Europe and Asia will start to battle to attract all this new talent, create jobs, etc. Crypto, once considered to be a joke, a criminal safe haven, will become something that grows out to surpass the main assets in this world in several ways. Imagine what level of boost this ecosystem will enjoy once financial institutions go nuts on crypto. The only reason they are holding off for now is that they can't legally do anything with crypto right now, but that will change. While people keep talking about regulations to be a negative happening for crypto, I can't wait to see the legal framework gets updated and finally see crypto become that what we want it to be. No regulations means no serious growth.
Belarus cannot become an attractive state for serious players in the cryptocurrency market. Binance stated that their goal is not only to find a new free country for their jurisdiction but also they want to add Fiat couples. This will help to attract more people. This requires a state that has authority. Belarus is under sanctions and therefore it is impossible in Belarus.
80  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If a country adopted bitcoin as their national currency, would the US still be a on: March 26, 2018, 07:51:45 PM
The United States never recognizes bitcoin as a currency. Even if bitcoin will be recognized by any country as the base currency. There is a certain list of freely convertible currencies. Not included in this list it is impossible to have the official exchange rate of the coins. The state, too, will never make bitcoin the main currency because it is contrary to the laws of the economy.
