81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: May 21, 2018, 03:15:14 PM
Where is the marketing? I doxed the dev team, which wasn't too hard when they post all their LinkedIn. They are big players in the internet marketing industry in England. They can do it for free!?! I even looked up the coins head guy Richard Ells and called his headquarters. I asked the secretary about Electroneum? I was transfered to a guy that asked me how he could help me with my questions. So I asked, "why aren't you marketing this ICO?". He said, "they are and more is coming." Do you see any marketing? WTF.

The ICO starts in 3 days!!

EDIT

No, it is definately not a scam.

They have raised 3 million already.

I was worried about the marketing, but now I see their ads everwhere I go on the internet, so the guy wasnt kidding when he said the marketing is coming!!

Damn!!! Ive never seen a coin hit mainstream news sites!!!

Electroneum is not a scam. Electroneum is a new crypto mining which you can earn income through standing it  for couple of hours. This currency is very slow and has a low value. And every hour or maybe a day the price drops which is not good. So better to engage in other currency that is tested and peoven by many people.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: May 21, 2018, 10:33:05 AM
i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
Why do you want to sell bitcoin and but eth? That is not a wise idea. Bitcoin value is in its downfall. Better to hold it than to cut losses. Just wait for the right time tp sell it and if you gain profit. In eth you can buy this even you don't sell btc, wait for the time that eth value decreases and then buy this and hold.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: May 21, 2018, 05:54:05 AM
Hello guys,
I just want to know which do you prefer most Airdrops or Bounty. In bounties you have to complete given tasks with some formalities otherwise no reward will be given. But in Airdrops there are less rules and tasks to follow. So why should I play Bounty ?
Thank You. Smiley
Both bounties and airdrops are good when it comes to source of money. But the difference of this two is that, bounty ir more reliable and effective than airdops since you cannot determine if you will earn or not. Unlike in bounties, the campaigns are very transparent so the efforts you exert will not be wasted.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: May 19, 2018, 04:09:27 PM
my plan is to keep 6 potential alt coins till year end. at least keep until bull market. specially coins are req, ada, trx, prl ,cs and snov. i wish two bull markets will come in this year
My plan for this year 2018 is to get my bitcoin and use it to start a small business and also planning to buy bitcoin when the value drops. After that I will hold it and then sell it when the value rise. Aside from it, I want to explore the world of crypto and study more about it so I will be more familiarize what I've entered.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: May 19, 2018, 02:18:25 PM
Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book poor dad, rich dad, he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

I've read this book many times. I accept the rules of how people can be rich. We live in capitalism, and these are the rules of capitalism. But I do not think Bitcoin the only way to become a millionaire. You can try other way
Yes! I agree if you are strategic and smart person you have many ideas to get rich. Maybe bitcoin is one of the best solution to become rich easily but since you have skills and talents, you can use this to become it.
Money is necessity for living and more money you will experience wealth.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: May 15, 2018, 03:29:12 PM
This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.
Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore?
No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$ Grin
Yes, but it is better than selling it. You will not get your loss when you sell it. Unlike hold, it may pissibly increased and back at those value before or more than it. Many investors are afraid to get more loss so they wanted to cut it than having a huge loss on there account. But it is a wrong way. Try to hold that and those losses will comeback.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin on: May 15, 2018, 03:01:30 PM
Recently, KFC Canada has accepted Bitcoin payments for a short period of time. However, Bitcoin can only be used to place orders online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket". And all this special deal will be handled by Bitpay, a fairly common Bitcoin trading tool. Its really interesting news, I wish that I can also buy chicken with Bitcoin in my coutry.  Roll Eyes
It will be possible since bitcoin now are spread out throughout the world. So even the companies and other businesses are using now this bitcoin and startong to accept bitcoin as a mode of payment of those buyers. And I think it is not only kfc that accepts btc even the other foodchains resto and etc. I wish all country accept it as a payment.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: May 15, 2018, 01:53:51 PM
Last night I had a discussion with a friend if it's possible to quit your job and make a fulltime living of promoting bounty campaigns.
My friend thought you need to promote a lot of bounties at the same time (100 per week), to compensate for the
uncertain number of bounties that will never to lead to any income (coin cannot get listed, withdrawal fees of exchange is too high, scam, etc.).

So the question is: do you agree with this statement?
It is somehow good but crypto is volatile, value is not always in good amount. What if you need cash urgently and crypto is in its downfall. You will not able to sell your coins right because you will just experience loss. Instead make a crypto as your second job or part rime job and focus on your job.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: May 15, 2018, 09:50:58 AM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
The best thing to do is to hold it now since I think it is not advisable to sell because of the value is not that good and I think if you sell it as now you will just loss your investment instead of gaining. The market is still in red, you need to wait more time before you are going to sell that. Wait for the tine that the value rises up.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2018, 12:06:25 AM
I dont talk about it to anyone anymore because the negativity is too much.
I am confident they will all be proven wrong in the not so distant future.

Those same negatine people may end up looking to get into crypto in a few
years when they see the benefits.
Yes, I don't entertain those people who has negative mindset about bitcoin. Especially for my friends and my relatives who rather believe others that trusting me. Sooner or later they will come to me and asking for help on how to get in bitcoin and how to earn on it.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: May 14, 2018, 02:33:41 PM
With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week!
This time, this is the right time to but bitcoin since the value is very low. You need to buy more of it so you can have a huge income after of how many months or years. When the market is red, that is the time to buy bitcoin. And wait when the market is green. After you hold and the price is high you can now sell it.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Some advices and references for a newbie? on: May 14, 2018, 01:21:15 PM
Hi everyone! I'm trying to research and study as much I can, but i have problems in finding good books/articles/whatever that explain the principles of economics and trading, very important if u want to learn about coins in general. I searched in the forum but i didn't find anything like that (but a lot of other useful articles)...so can you help me? I would really appreciate a "newbie tutorial for economics/trading" if it exist Smiley
For those who are new here in bitcoin, you should have be familiarize on what you have entered. You should search for some information about bitcoin to understand well. So can ask advices for those who earn in bitcoin and have been successful in life because of it. Aside fron it is reliable, they've experienced it already.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 13, 2018, 05:47:56 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?
I think you can start business at a low value of bitcoin. If you have some personal money you can use it to add in your business. But before that make sure you plan that business very well so it will gain profit amd also to avoid loss. Start from a small business and afterwards you can add some or enlarge your business to gain mkre profit.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 11, 2018, 11:45:59 PM
It seems as though there is a predominant attitude about people trying to do business that most people are scammers. We have run into this time and time again, accusing us of running "dirty" money or stolen goods.
We put ads or offers in various places saying "vetted buyer" and "respected escrow" and still get negative comments from people that don't even want to do business. They would just rather demean and abase and not add any positive thoughts.
I will say that we have had pretty good success in spite of the naysayers. Doing business in this way is new to most people and seems foreign. But we have plodded through and have achieved a success that has proved that not all are wrong.
There are people all over that are looking for honest services, and we have carved a niche for that entity. We know that there are scammers out there, but we are working to elevate us to a position of reknown.
Not all offers are scams!
Most of people think that every business especially in online are all scam because of some reasons one of this is feedback and news from it. They have read some news that many people get scammed and they set in their minds that all online bus. are scam. Next is maybe they have relarives or friends whos scammed.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: May 08, 2018, 03:20:27 PM
Hi,
i am newbi so i  am late or not  to cryptocurrency field?
if train is gone? -Thank you
There is no late in achieving something. There is no late to be successful. They just ahead in you but you can be like them, sooner. You can now start earning without investing something. For example in bitcoin, you can join in bounty campaigns so you will able to have income. Then those income may invest in bitcoin or any coins so that it will grow. As you continue this and do smartly. You will be successful.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: tax for a safer crypto environment on: May 08, 2018, 01:42:59 PM
What if our government add tax whenever we transact fiat-crypto and vice versa, and the fund will be used for our protection(ICO,Scams,Phishings), for example the government will make a group or sector that focuses on crypto environtment. what do you think?
It is brilliant idea through this the crypto will be more secure and more reliable compare to the old one. But the government must be expert in cryptocurrency so it will be worth it to pay taxes. And those taxes will also be helpful to the economy and to the country because it helps many people especially those who experience poverty.
97  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: May 08, 2018, 01:44:17 AM
1. Do not invest your own money

Since most businesses are risky, seek partners. So, if things do not go all the way, you will not go bankrupt because of the start-up funds, and not pursued debt.

2. Work hard

If you are not willing to work hard, overtime, forget personal gain and health, then entrepreneurship is not for you. At first, you definitely will not be able to pay employees, even if the employees are cheap. So, your employees are your own.

3. Use the latest technology

New technologies such as software and data storage with small companies are able to compete with large companies. Take advantage of low cost technologies on the market.

4. Respect the time

Rate the money in your time, for example Rp20 thousand per hour. This will help when you have to make a decision: If a store charges Rp10 thousand for shipping every week, and it takes you 2 hours to go to the store itself, then pay for the postage from the company, because it is cheaper.

5. Realistic

When creating a business model, look around and look for a successful example of the business model you want, then learn. If you can not find, whether you are an incredible genius, or your business model will not work in the real world.

6. Sell excess, not price

You start a business, you are naturally frustrated marketing it. But, if you compete on the price, you will end up selling at barely or even under capital. Master the skills of communicating with customers, to explain that your product price is higher because it has a better value
That is a good idea. But first you need to think what business you would like to start. It mudt be profitable. You must have plans for thay not only plan a but also plan b,c,d and so on so in case the plan a doesn't work you have many plans to guide. Have a budget for that business. And work hard for it.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: May 07, 2018, 03:24:38 PM
There are different reasons why we do things generally in life, Cryptocurrency too is not an exemption. Different people have their reasons for involving in Cryptocurrency as a whole. To me, I first heard about Cryptocurrency in 2016 after my adventures with ponzi schemes. The impression I first have was impressive because I was in a good hands then, my mentor was a keen and always ready to help person and he achievement was there to show for it. So I was curious to get started and join the big guns in Cryptocurrency world.

Share your views on the reasons that got you involve in Cryptocurrency and let the newbies learn.
Honestly, I don't believe in some digital currency, I don't believe that you will be successful here. Online has lot of scammers that is not worthy to trust. But my friend justify that all my impression is wrong. So I am now convince to join and be part of this big crypto. Now it really helps me a lot especially in my finances
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: May 07, 2018, 02:31:24 PM
As we all know bitcoin has come long way in the eight or so years its been in existence, but their's still long way to go before the digital currency becomes a widely used method of paying for goods and services.
we should know.
1.what challenges are facing bitcoin?
2. how we can prevent it?
3. how we should face those challenges?
There are many challenges that every users has experienced one of this is the volatility of bitcoin. Volatility of bitcoin is good when you perform it in smart way. You will buy at a low value and wait until it reach your satisfaction. But today the value is not that good since 5 months straight the value is always in low. To prevent it, don't always look for the value, instead trust bitcoin.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 07, 2018, 11:42:15 AM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
I think people continues to buy bitcoin is because the value is in very low price so that is the better tine to buy bitcoin for you to gain money. And bitcoin serves as their source of income of some of the users so they do believe in bitcoin. And also some users are only dependent on bitcoin so if the value is low they grab the opportunity.
