81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 26, 2018, 03:52:11 PM
I guess the panic reaction has been prevalent because a decline is all what has been experienced since the beginning of this year. The change expected is somewhat unattainable now because of the low level of bitcoin dippness experienced.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think other coins can come to close bitcoin value in the next year!! on: June 26, 2018, 03:44:57 PM
I did some research for last few months regarding cryptocurrency. I got some crucial questions in my mind. One of the questions is: Will other coins go to near to the bitcoin value or bitcoin will go up again?

Well, the only coin in my mind that could rise up to close up to the bitcoin price is still the ethereum; based on its high level of relevance and usage. That is my thought about the ethereum but the bitcoin is definitely due for a bullish run and I should see that happening towards the last quarter of this year.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current steady growth will result in $20K by end of August? on: June 25, 2018, 10:42:03 PM
The highest I hear and believe bitcoin can reach this year is 10,000$. There are a lot of factors that ain't allowing the bull run of bitcoin. Part of factors that has impeded the growth of the bitcoin are; which is the knowledge of bitcoin around us and fright of same by those who claim to be hodlers.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 25, 2018, 07:38:49 PM
With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week!

I would not say that this is the perfect time to buy the bitcoin at this market period because of the incessant dips and also high speculation that the bitcoin can dip as low as between 3000$-4000$. But if you are in to make the best of quick trades, you can buy in and sell at the little price profits available.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: June 25, 2018, 06:46:28 PM
If we that are meant to be in charge of our cryptocurrency world are now fidgeting and sounding notes of fear all around the forum and everywhere, it will take real time for new bitcoin investors to come in and harder to convince them to stay. I do feel, we should really exercise some real patience while the market heals from its wounds. We can explore other options pending the market restoration.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 05:05:35 PM
The fright is still on as a lot that don't know or believe in the cryptocurrency markets still see it as a bubble and some still term it a ponzi. They are scared that they don't want to see their had earned money suddenly vanish into thin air.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: June 20, 2018, 04:54:24 PM
I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?

The more altcoins you have the better the chances you have when and if anyone of them gets pumped. Acquiring them via bounties is still the best way compared to buying them if not sure of the future of the altcoin.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not? on: June 20, 2018, 04:47:42 PM
Just the way myetherwallet.com informs new accounts to guide their wallet effectively because it could worth some millions/billions later. This implies that one should treat one's wallet as assets held in banks too. So, very important to have them secured for one's family or loved ones.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency? on: June 20, 2018, 04:35:50 PM
I was just so curios since i am new also with cryptocurrency and i wonder as i read too many threads about getting good rewards from bounty campaigns like signature campaigns that receive BTC weekly or monthly and as i checked bitcoin market price today relatively so expensive. Many are great these are with the accordance basing on what i have read. Well maybe those people are fraud as i had began to join this system i dont feel there is great in it like getting a good reward instead i feel that this is just like a work that you need to perform in order for you to gain. Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency?

I know a lot that have come into the cryptocurrency world with this information only to find out otherwise. I had a friend ask me same yesterday if it is possible to live off the bounties aspect and have it as a full job; main source of income. I simply informed him that the markets are not the way it used to be and the bounties are not yielding profits as expected. So, better you still have a physical job doing and have the cryptocurrency job as a supplement to your income.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: June 19, 2018, 03:09:54 PM
Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?

I did learn from starts of my coming into the cryptocurrency trade that; trades have behaviours and majorly because decisions are being taken by individuals who trade. So, if you can readily predict the reaction of persons to some news then you can expect to know the market responses/direction.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: June 19, 2018, 03:04:28 PM
If an entity is large and powerful enough, is it possible for it to gain a monopoly advantage and manipulate the rises and falls of the virtual currency market?

The cryptocurrency market can be influenced; especially by news as it is still very volatile! We have a good example of the docademic that is presently being positively influenced by John McAfee. You can readily see the resultant effect of FUDS on the markets too.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: June 19, 2018, 02:51:49 PM
The anonymity is what the market in itself portrays with easy movement of funds without being traced to some extent. I do believe if carefully traced to the exchange site where the trade exchange takes place, the trader involved can be located.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: June 19, 2018, 02:46:38 PM
Hi guys ,
Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets ?? Has any one noticed that the current bull run that has been on for the last few weeks comes to a halt every time it reaches the 10 k mark and slides down . My theory is that whales sell at 10k and then create fud so market slides down only to buy back and pump . What do you think ?

Of course, the Whales do have a major role to play in the pumping on some markets. I did first experience it last year with the bitcoin red having it with a sharp increase being pumped within some few hours. They control the markets to the direction they want it to be most of the time.
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: Backup is important on: June 19, 2018, 02:35:56 PM
I believe in addition to the 2fa codes stored in phones via the barcodes, you also have the passkey/code. If you misplaced your phone, you can have access to your account again via the security key code.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: June 19, 2018, 02:30:43 PM
I did not really get in as early as expected and profits made so far has not been really major enough to set a pace but profits made is still being used to fix some debts on ground. I do hope to be sharing some great deal of news about my real profits soon.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 19, 2018, 02:23:30 PM
Like the saying that whatever goes up must come down. A lot of people coming into the markets and  also bringing in a lot of oppositions with it. I see a bounce back already happening which implies from what already said that bitcoin has done its lowest for the year.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Currency Always Fails on: June 18, 2018, 09:44:53 PM
See:

There Is No Escaping History.  Fiat Currency Eventually Fails.

Notice that this is a critique of fiat money -- not a critique of state-issued money under a gold/silver or other standard.  Fiat money is a rare occurrence in modern history.  (We live in strange times!)  As we can see, the examples found by the author are a small number of short periods here and there.

I have my own critique of gold/silver standards, but that's another issue.

This and other facts have been stated to prove that fiats will be impeded as technology takes over the future.  Most cryptocurrency experts have said that bitcoin price will increase again. And same for the alcoins too. Bitcoin is the digital gold and will always be on top of the rest.j
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend less bitcoin/alts now? on: June 18, 2018, 09:36:43 PM
I hold bitcoin and I was thinking if it was going up I would spend some, just a little bit, as a way to cash in my profits. But with the current market I just hold, I don’t want to spend my coins at such a cheap price because it will feel like a loss to me.

Do you feel the same way? What are your thoughts?

It will rise again and aside the down periods experienced, they will be a breaking for the year. I did observed the upward trend that took place within a short while I  traded.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 13, 2018, 05:24:35 PM
Bitcoin price going beneath 6,000$ will be about the price I got in last year! Maybe a repeat is about to happen again in this year; bitcoin bullish from its dip of as low of 5000$.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: June 13, 2018, 05:20:41 PM
When do you think Bitcoin will go back to the $20,000 mark and what factors do you think could contribute to making it happen sooner rather than later?

From all indication, the rise to a 10,000$ is looking farther talkless of the 20,000$ price value. Well, I think the 20,000$ mark isn't that visible again this year because of the level of awareness that we now have. The rich will not want people to get closer knowing the cryptocurrency world is capable of doing this if not curtailed.
