81  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: June 30, 2018, 02:48:41 AM
Even total illiterates know the value of gold, they should never be compared with one another. I'd like to say that whilst Bitcoin is POW algorithm, definitely will last for as long.
You will be surprised by the amount of people that do not really understand the value of gold, in fact that describes most people, when given the chance to get fiat or gold most people will choose fiat since they can spend it almost immediately while that is not the case with gold and this is because most people do not really understand that nothing backs our fiat currency and that it would be better for them to hold gold instead.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next big ICO on: June 29, 2018, 11:28:56 PM
I think that ico will be successful only when the project is will be needed by society. so my choice fell on the project Yumerium, if you have not heard about it, then I advise you to get acquainted and you will understand why I think so.
If the project does not have any kind of real world application then it is obvious it is not going to have any lasting success, it may become successful thanks to pump and dump groups and speculators but as soon as that ends the coin will have the value it deserves which is zero, this is why bitcoin is so valuable compared to the other coins since bitcoin is really useful unlike most altcoins.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find good ICOs? on: June 29, 2018, 11:14:11 PM
in my opinion 2018 year its not good for ico investments  Angry you better wait for token or coin hit the exchanges and then buy it. cause almost 80 or more percent of them are dropping in price for few times. i already saw it almost every time and for now i dont wanna invest anymore. too many icos now and too may scammers and bad project trying to collect your money
I agree with this if we take into account that most coins go down in value after the ico then the correct action to take is to wait after the ico and wait for the price to go down and to take advantage of the low prices, just make sure the price is not crashing because you do not want to become a bag holder and lose your investment before you even have a chance to make money with that coin.

If you want to know on how to find an good ICO the first thing you should do is make a lot of research, there's many ICO rating site that will may help you to find one such as icobench.com icotracker and most of them are icodrops.com.
I have always thought about those sites as a form of scam, the owners of an ico could always buy a good review in those kind of websites, a small investment there can make to them a lot of money, obviously this will be very manipulative and even illegal but with so many scammers in this market it is almost a sure thing that something like that is happening.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: June 29, 2018, 11:05:14 PM
Most of the citizens in the developing countries are now aware to what is bitcoin. They know the opportunity that they can get from making investment with bitcoins. I am sure that many more people will become interested to enter in the cryptocurrency market.
Not really, the awareness of bitcoin in those countries is still very low and those that know that bitcoin exists do not really have the money to invest in it, I do not like it but that is the reality, most of the biggest investors in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are those that come from countries that are well developed and that have a great standard of life already.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency? on: June 29, 2018, 10:50:58 PM
States will issue their own centralized digital currency. They do not have any sense in issuing crypto currency, which they can not manage. This is quite logical. Most likely, they will issue digital analogues of their national money and these digital money will go along with national conventional money. I think it will be pretty good. It will be possible to take advantage of both types of money. Of course, centralized crypto currency will also be completely public, anonymity in it will be minimal, but at the level of peer-to-peer operations, I think it will remain. In any case, we will retain the right to choose what kind of crypto currency to use - centralized or decentralized.
Cryptocurrencies created and backed by a state are becoming a reality since Venezuela created their own and it is possible some other countries do the same but what they do not seem to understand is that we are not investing in this market just because someone had an idea to create a new term like cryptocurrency, we are here because we finally have independence from them and their useless fiat.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason to stay in this bear market. on: June 26, 2018, 11:22:29 PM
We are in a bear but still there's  a lot of reason why you should stay, and I listed some of those good things to stay calm and why you need to trust this market again.

1. Cryptocurrency can bounce back high in this current dump because of its own technology. the potential growth of this market is still 101%.

2. Bear market is normal, and if you look at any market after the dump there will always a rebound, where its possible to make a new all time high.

3. Now why some countries make bitcoin legal? Why some big personality invest in some project? Well, its simply because they saw a great potential for this cryptomarket, and you should too.

This may not help you to stay calm and stop panicking but try to imagine the market five years from now. Any thoughts why people should stay in this market?
Those are very good reasons to stay in the market, but many of those that got out probably already knew that and yet they simply could not wait and decided to get out of the market and lose money, it is weird how it is possible people take decisions they know will be counterproductive? But I see this all the time so it does not surprises me at all.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: June 26, 2018, 11:14:07 PM
My country is blessed with alot of mineral resources and  lots of talented people but to my surprise the poor became poorer and the rich richier from that, the government only care for themselves and leave the masses to suffer. The economy status of my country as of this writing is still not that good. We are still a third world country from South East Asia. We are surviving and still striving hard to be able to improve and develop our economy
The rich becoming richer is something that happens all over the world not matter the type of governmentm culture, demographics or anything else, and the reason is very simple those with money can use that money to get favorable laws and elected officials to do their will, this is why after a revolution things always remain the same and those that are powerful before it keep being powerful after it.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: why the state does not print a lot of money? on: June 26, 2018, 11:10:48 PM
why the state does not print a lot of money? than debt to other countries. is not it easier to make money than debt and ultimately burdens the state?

whether if printing money will have an impact on the money itself? or will it impact the value of the money in the eyes of the world?
You do not really know what you are talking about, one of the biggest problem of the economy right now is that governments are abusing their power and are printing too much currency, why do you think bitcoin exist in the first place and it has such a high value? Printing too much currency is a clear sign the government is in trouble this has been true in than past and it is true now.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may continue to move higher on: June 26, 2018, 10:57:26 PM
I invested in a bit when it was near 18000 so I'm really hoping for the price to move up like you say but given the current manipulation in the market and economic Trends it doesn't look like it's very likely in the short-term
I do not see any kind of manipulation in the market, right now this is a fair price of bitcoin anyone that paid 18k simply paid too much for their bitcoin it is that simple and they should have thought a lot better what they were doing but when we are in the middle of a mania many people do not really take the time to think since they fear that if they do not buy now they are going to miss their chance of becoming rich.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: June 26, 2018, 10:41:40 PM
Good trader always try to know what’s going on before he put money into it. And try to focus on fundamental strength of coins
Checking the fundamentals of a coin is very important but that is only one way to invest the other is technical analysis and it can be very effective the greatest problem is that many people do not really take the time to learn it correctly and this is why you see so many people complaining about all the money they lost when they trade but it is their fault since they trade with no knowledge and experience and that will guarantee you will lose your money.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 bitcoin amendment price be similar to 2014? on: June 19, 2018, 04:23:56 AM
I saw the news today, Binance CEO said, 2018 bitcoin correction price similar to 2014, what do you think?
The correction is over people need to move on the price is not going to go that much lower but I do not expect to see a much higher price for the rest of the year either, so this year is going to be in a way a boring one without too much going on from now on, this is bad if you are a speculator but if you are a long term holder this is the perfect time to buy coins at good prices.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: June 19, 2018, 04:14:19 AM
I will stay in crypto even if bitcoin does not recover . Bitcoin not recovering is so impossible because bitcoin can never die. It is a token that will always stand the test of time no matter what may happen
It is incredibly unlikely the price will not recover and go even higher, after all it is not like something happened to bitcoin or anything, everything is still in place, the network is still there, the developers are still working as hard as ever, the miners are there as well so the only thing that changed was the demand and most of that demand was nothing more than a speculative bubble.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: June 19, 2018, 03:37:38 AM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?
Not going to happen, get used to this down market, no one likes it but it is my belief we are going to see these low prices for years and this is going to make the price even lower and many people are going to get desperate and sell their coins, then after all that time passes out of nowhere the price will go up significantly and all of those people will be desperate to get their coins back and they will have to pay a huge price for the same coins.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: June 19, 2018, 03:24:26 AM
Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy

This is true but governments that are in bad shape think bitcoin undermines their authority instead of being happy their citizens are able to somehow escape the consequence of their mistakes they get mad and ban bitcoin and even try to put in jail the people that are using bitcoin instead of their failed currency so we must remember that if you live in a country like that governments only care about themselves and do not care for their citizens at all.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: June 19, 2018, 02:57:34 AM
The younger generation should understand that education is not necessary for him to obtain a diploma, but in order to learn to earn on his knowledge.

Education is necessary because bitcoins is not assured to live a very long life and maybe there will be a law in the future that can destroy cryptocurrency so you always need to have education to secure your life in the future.
You are completely mistaken bitcoin cannot be destroyed just because a government somewhere passed a law if that was the case then bitcoin would have been destroyed already, it is important to have an education that is true but bitcoin should be our main focus right now because you do not when an investment like bitcoin is going to appear again.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire Investor Tim Draper Explains Why Bitcoin Will Hit $250,000 in 2022 on: June 15, 2018, 11:18:43 PM
Few billionaire investors have been so vocal and
bullish on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency price
appreciation as Tim Draper, the founder of
venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

https://coinsupdates.com/billionaire-investor/
Does it really matter? What I mean is, do you care if bitcoin touches that price in 2022 or in 2032 or in some undetermined year in the future? What you should be doing is holding your coins no matter what, that way it does not matter if the prediction is right or not about the year or the price, the technology will eventually become adopted all over the world and the price will grow as a result of that.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: June 15, 2018, 10:57:10 PM
I believe there are lots of things that affects the price of Bitcoin and the devs too can play a role in controlling the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Just check out Bitcoin and compare it to other cryptocurrencies, you will get to see that it is more volatile then every other cryptocurrencies we have in the market. ETH is less volatile and doesn’t fluctuate much like Bitcoin does. So believe it or not, the devs also plays a role in this.

As for the volatility of Ethereum and Bitcoin, here they are almost the same. Bitcoin is always affected by the news that appears in mass media, by the forks of BTC. Naturally, the whales can manipulate Bitcoin prices.
I really  do not think we are going to see bitcoin forks that can affect the price of bitcoin significantly like what we saw some months ago, there will be opportunistic people trying to create a fork to make money but the time has passed and now there is not any interest from most people to invest in those useless forks, even the most powerful fork bitcoin cash is losing relevance and when the lightning network gets activated bitcoin cash will lose its reason to exist.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: June 15, 2018, 10:30:55 PM
Most countries are depending on taxes so it's going to make the survivability of the country lesser and can make the citizens suffer.
But bitcoin profits are taxable and they may implement to the people who are earning through to declare their income.
I do not know how the budget of the governments of your country is distributed but in my country most of the budget goes towards maintaining the government, social programs and health programs, when in reality the last two things are not a responsibility of the state if you were to cut most of that funding governments could operate with 60% to 80 less taxes.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: June 15, 2018, 10:09:17 PM
Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

I'm going long on several decentralized exchanges coins, I invested in many of those projects thinking that even if I fail in many of my investments as long as I get some of them right then I will make money as those coins skyrockets, after all we really need decentralized exchanges as we get more regulations in centralized exchanges.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: June 12, 2018, 03:17:23 AM
For me everytime ia good to buy bitcoin. As long as you know the trend of the market on bitcoin. You must analys the market first before investing on him. Because if you will just invest and no analys it can cause a loss profit.
While it is always a good idea to do an analysis the most important aspect in my opinion is to understand what bitcoin is about and what it can achieve once you understand this you understand very clearly that the price of bitcoin can only do one thing in the long term and that is to go up.
