oclvanityminer am using works and woks on gpu however no produce Bitcoin address any idea how to fix.
Well if the previous comments are any indication: i) You are using incorrect commands. Post your commands you are using? and/or, ii) You are using an incompatible driver version. Try using compatible drivers such as 12.8, and use a driver uninstaller when changing to earlier versions.

I run a samsung N130 netbook (now quite old) to do torrents. It previously also hosted some block erupter USB's. It uses less than 17 watts at all times. If the screen is closed and managed remotely, it uses even less power. At idle, sometimes only 10 watts. If it had a SSD, then it would probably get below 10 watts. The power cost becomes irrelevant. The atom CPU can only use 2-2.5 watts, so even at load consumption is never above 20 watts in the worst case.
You can install windows from a USB stick on most netbooks, mine runs windows 7 ultimate. It is a little slow sometimes, but if you are just using it to control mining hardware, the laggy interface will not concern you at all. There are heaps of guides to optimizing W7 for netbooks online.
Your supplier would be ebay.

I've always run fans at 100%. Never had a failure on over 20 various cards in 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx, R series. However my anecdotal experiences are statistically irrelevant, its clear that certain products have QA issues and fail easily (MSI R-series non-reference coolers for example).

If you are not good with electronics: buy a good quality seasonic/corsair PSU or any other brand that gets really good reviews across the board.
If you are good with electronics and want to save some money, perhaps sacrificing some AC-DC efficiency, you can get high wattage PSU such as IBM bladecenter or HP or dell blade system power supplies very cheap (second hand) on ebay. Maybe some even sealed in new packaging for a good price. 2000 watt bladecenter PSU regularly on sale for $50+postage where I live.

Perhaps look at using cold storage with armory or electrum in the future. Where you manually authorize a transaction with an offline computer.

No you don't need to. This subject has been discussed in this topic. U have to use option "X" with the code of the coin. I have a weird problem with calculating the percentage of stales. When I check my results in CGMiner, I see around 145000 Accepted shares with 26 Stales. If I calculate the percentage of stale based on the above accepted shares, I get 0.02%.
But When I check my CGWatcher screen. It says, my accepted is 283 and stale is 26 which makes it over 8%.
I can't figure out how this calculation is done. If I am really getting 8% stales, what can I do to reduce them? I am not able to attach images to the thread. So I couldn't post screenshots.
Additional info: WU is 2831/m. WUE=93.8%.
Newer versions of cgminer count 'accepted' as the sum of the difficulty of those shares. You can see what I mean if you start your miner and watch how the accepted shares value goes up. However, cgwatcher can report them like the old versions of cgminer used to: where 1 accepted share is displayed as 1 accepted share. Your cgwatcher value is most likely correct at 8%. You can reduce stales by reducing intensity of your miner software (if its too high / higher is not always better: sometimes better to sacrifice intensity for responsiveness), or trying a different pool. I have a problem: when i start oclvanitygen with 1something, unless to generate public and private key, vg generate a useless cpu and gpu hash...

Just use driver uninstaller, i used this DDU from http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html. unzip it in a folder in desktop, restart system in safe mode, run Display Driver Uninstaller.exe, select AMD-> Clean and restart. It will remove all amd drivers & restart system. Now just install 12.10 driver & everything works fine. ATiMan Uninstaller also works really well. It's actually amazing to watch all the things it does.

Newer CPU and motherboards have far better power management. A simple build with a intel G3420 ( http://ark.intel.com/products/77775/), running a SSD and a 92% (gold 80+ rating) power supply will use <60 watts at 100% load and be many times faster than any pentium D. Many of the systems pictured in this thread will have idle power consumption <20 watts AC, some of the 7xxx and R-series cards use <2 watts at idle.

I have CGwatcher scheduled to check which coin (out of the 5 profiles I've set up) is most profitable (adjusted for stales) every 15 minutes, and switch profiles to that coin.
That is a terrible idea and I will let you figure out why. Yes, pool hopping/not getting shares. I know. The particular coin profiles I have set up don't change their profitability ranking very often. For instance, in the last 24 hours, my miners should have only switched coins 3 times. The problem is, they don't switch at all. So really, no advice on how to get scheduler to auto-switch profiles? Does anyone have this feature working properly? Nope. You will eventually come to grief because the most profitable coins at the top of the list often are having blockchain problems. You can see it when difficulty drops of massively (50+% instantaneously). You'll be throwing away shares because its not smart enough to realize that there is a problem.

The idea of using resources of unsuspecting gamers for mining is disingenuous and would be a great way of landing yourself in legal trouble. PSN would also take action pretty quickly I'd assume.
The console could manage at most 300 kH/s scrypt. That's like a old 6870 card or a lower end 7xxx or R-series. You can get 6870's for less than $80 on ebay... easily. The card would compare comparatively to the console in terms of overall efficiency too.
Seems like a very misguided way of going about mining in either case.

I have: (Schedule tab) Set intensity of all GPUs to 17 when idle. Minutes before idle: 1
And it works well.
The config file's default mining intensity is 13 for the GPU in question, which is right on the limit of "just plays videos smoothly".
I've noticed that if the mouse cursor moves even 1 pixel it will cancel the idle timer. This can be a problem for me as I have two high resolution mice connected. So if I am going away for a long period of time or to sleep, I turn the mice upside down.
I haven't really looked into it, but I suspect some kind of windows (videos or pictures being displayed as the active window) prevent it from going "idle".

So I've got a weird issue. I've replicated it twice now, trying to narrow it completely down. Issue is a multi-card system gets corrupted so that the temperature/RPM sensors get mapped to the wrong cards. Anyone seen this? Weird thing is it survives CGwatcher, so CGminer will use the incorrect mapping when ran by itself, even after reboot. Only fix has been to reinstall the OS as trying to reinstall drivers results in a lockup. I'm guessing driver corruption.

This will cause one card to go SICK/DEAD/OFF because it may see a low temp on the incorrect card and thus not adjust its fan.
Trying to narrow down how I'm doing it. But both times the system has worked fine without issue for a day or two. This seems to happen when I run it with CGWatcher.

Further testing I did a system restore to before the issue and now GPU2 is using GPU1's temp sensor. Such a weird issue.

I did notice that someone else suggested the ability to run two profiles at once without using two installs of CGWatcher. I'd second this. I use the new "xIntensity" for a few of my cards, but some do not like it, so I have to run multiple miners for all cards to work correctly. Be a useful feature.
It'll either be windows to blame or the motherboard. In any case I've seen this on 1 or 2 motherboards but it was never a critical or build-breaking issue. In one case it was because of the on-motherboard GPU intel processors' GPU being enabled but we couldn't disable it without causing other problems (was an Asrock Z87 board). I would suggest trying BAMT or check out the mining support subforums as these problems can occur even without cgwatcher getting involved.

looking for a bit of a confirmation on a build before I go out and throw down $2000+ on it:
MSI Z87-G45 GAMING ($160) 2*600W power supplies (full 600w on 12V) ($40 each BEFORE a $15 MIR) cheap celeron processor (about $50-70) 2x2gb ram ($40) 6x Sapphire R9 270X dual-x ($240 each) 6x usb risers ($25 each)
USB w/ BAMT keyboard mouse monitor
Does this look like a good build? Ive read the sapphire cards can be pushed into the 450-480 khash range, so 2.7Mhash/s for about $2250. ($0.80/khash) I plan to use either a milkcrate or a shoerack and a few zipties to hold everything in place.
My biggest concern is of being late to the game. scrypt ASICs are close, and will offer about 1/10th the power draw. I expect these to roll-out on a large scale in the next 2-3 months. The GPU rig would require about 6-9 months to break even - maybe 3-4 months if mining doge, having BTC value rebound, and considering a 50% resale value on the components to gamers.
Buy quality PSU from companies like corsair/seasonic/OCZ. $40/ea implies generic worthless junk. Probably nil stability on 12v lines or will fail quickly. For the upper CPU price you list, you could almost get the better http://ark.intel.com/products/77775/Depending on retail prices, might be cheaper to get non-X card variety, which can be bios modded to run at ~1100 mV to give 430-460 kh/s @ as low as 130 watts per card. Although mods like this could probably also be applied to X cards. Refer my PM for cheaper risers. Scrypt ASICs will be inherently limited by RAM - which was the original reason why scrypt was chosen? - which translates to very high purchasing prices for customers. I would say that we're going to see similar final ROI times between GPU and Scrypt ASIC. One is cheap but burns a lot of power, one uses nil power but capital is very high. Also in regards to your estimates, keep in mind that only a month or two ago ROI time for a rig like this would be 40-60 days. If markets rebound quickly and you are willing to wait without cashing out...

This is great i used it to make addy from my sig . Damn you and your tiny-length username. Heheh... My username is just perfect. I even got 1Micro... addy in just few hours I also sold some addyes but urs username is to long even for me I used a work PC @ 25 Mkey/s for over 3 months to try and find 1tri11ium with case sensitivity off and no luck.
