81  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Received my BFL Jalapeno - mining at 5 GH/s on: July 21, 2013, 04:20:55 AM
Are you really able to mine 0.1 btc per day?

So your BFL jalapeno will be paid off in just 1 month? i.e. 3 btc = $300 approx

Mining calc from thegenesisblock.com says ROI is 50 days.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 21, 2013, 02:58:44 AM
Please list your dream feature for a coin and if you want PPcoin aspart of a new coin since so many people say its the only innovative coin besides bitcoin.

Please consider my post for features.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 21, 2013, 02:37:56 AM
How can I do a fork when I can't get into my repo files?

1. Create a new account on Github
2. Go to https://github.com/nuggets-project/nuggets
3. Press that nice “Fork” button in the top right corner
4. It is that simple.

But please please continue your conspiracy ramblings because you cannot do something that simple.

It is much more entertaining! Thank you for this wonderful performance!

What is your dream feature for a coin?  What do you wish a coin had but doesn't.

I would like a coin to be decentralised and secured by a massive network with power not less than 200Th/s.
So far I have a coin that suits my dreams completely except for one:

I would like the coin to be widely adopted, so that I can buy things and services in my country with it, and I am not living in the US. If we generalise, I would like to have coin accepted to some extent (so that I can buy something more than alpaca socks) in all major countries of the world. Say, world’s 11 most populous countries.

You are a wonderful economist Vlad, surely you understand how to make a widely adopted coin, not just 3-year pump and dump scam. Given all your genius I guess this will be a no-brainer for you.

Please, make us such a coin and we will respect you as high as Satoshi.

Just when I thought the thread was getting boring! You just can't make up this sort of entertainment.

(Though why is the blackmailer forking the entire chain to remove the premine? Couldn't he just lock it so transactions from the addresses holding it aren't accepted any more?)

I believe the fork was done mainly in order to make superblocks work.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 20, 2013, 12:49:03 PM
Well if current repo holder fixed superblocks, I guess that he also fixed premine, and as a result, all nuggets Vlad2Vlad holds simply will not be accepted as valid by the majority of miners.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 20, 2013, 12:26:03 PM
You should not, I'm sure it's Vlad wanting to keep people interested in his coin by making some drama

I am interested in the drama, not the coin Smiley
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 20, 2013, 11:11:58 AM
I start to get interested in what will be the end of this.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 20, 2013, 09:29:44 AM
The guy is really in desperate need of quick easy money…

I’ve skimmed through his writings on Devtome, and they turn out to be very close in spirit to those delusional ramblings he wrote here.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe the price has nowhere to go but down and here's why I think so. on: July 20, 2013, 06:07:35 AM
By the same token that your weak-minded friend was impressed that "a bitcoin" is "worth more than the dollar", we have idiots on CNBC saying things like "it's crazy that people are actually willing to pay $100 for just one of these bitcoin things". WTF!! Why can't people understand divisibility and percentages?

Don't be part of the problem!

Thank you, sir!

Also, here go LTC supporters with their “Look! LTC has more coins! How cool is that!”
90  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] KnCMiner Jupiter Shares 1BTC=5GH/s! 4 SOLD | 72 shares left on: July 19, 2013, 02:46:45 PM
didn't it reach 100 this week? I saw about 97-98 on mt gox

No, unfortunately, it fell back to 90.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 19, 2013, 05:18:52 AM
But that's not the problem, these guys complaining want this thread deleted because it threatens their own CrapCoins.  They want everyone here to be on their threads and that's why the constant attacks and complaints to the mods.

These guys complaining do not make crapcoins. We have a bunch of those already, what we want is to stop this flood of utterly useless shitcoins. Uncreative attempts of a get rich quick scheme made by hopeless jerks.

We are happy with already existing coins that have value, that have original ideas behind them, we don’t want people to believe that cryptocurrencies are just some ponzi scheme.

Thank you anyway for launching your coin, and I hope this thread stays because you just made the crappiest coin out there, a loser coin from the beginning. Maybe what finally gives it some originality is that it is hard to fail more in a more epic way than you did.

Let any aspiring crapcoin maker at least read through this thread and not fail so dramatically.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 19, 2013, 04:23:10 AM
The difficulty increase slows as it grows, think of it this way, for the difficulty to double from the point it's at now, all the asics that are in the wild right now will need to double (plus more to cover the gpus and fpgas) that's a lot of asics.

For the difficulty to double from the point it's at now, KNC has to start shipping Smiley
93  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter.com * Optional Custom Miner, PPLNS, Merged mining, Newbie-Friendly! * on: July 18, 2013, 02:03:13 PM
I am not sure if this (bug?) have been already treated but some time ago if you had “Start all devices” setting at startup, that would also start the CPU…

But the client is great, thanks everyone involved for such a good work!
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 18, 2013, 01:00:52 PM
How is a direct competitor selling the same product not competition exactly? Its like saying Sony and Microsoft don't compete for your cash.

AsicMiner are shipping at most 10GH/s devices while KNC is going to ship 400GH/s devices in only 2 months. I would not really call that competition.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 18, 2013, 10:46:44 AM
See I am human.  What DEVs give you this kind of personal truth's about themselves? NONE, that's who.  And that ain't right.  You're trusting them with your money, your future, your wife.....err, ok, not the wife, but still, enough for them to at least not hide behind a fake name and a fake wall in the Bahamas somewhere collecting 20%.

May I please ask, how this kind of mental exhibitionism is going to add value to your crapcoin?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 18, 2013, 09:35:39 AM
Sadly there are no buy orders Smiley
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 18, 2013, 09:25:52 AM
So I'm curious.  How many can you sell for 1 BTC?

There is a sell order of 12000 NUG for 0.10644 BTC which is $0.0007983 for 1 NUG. Seems grossly overpriced to me.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: Vlad2Vlad Idiot or Savant % on: July 17, 2013, 01:01:27 AM
I think you need to stop wasting your time praying to the god that turned his back on you and get a job to support your family

Hear to that.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 17, 2013, 12:38:16 AM
See what I mean, looking back at all your posts, its all negative and hateful posts.  Never anything positive.

Rampion gave you most sincere and kind advice. Others are just reasoning, there is no hate at all. The positive advice summarized is that you forget about launching a new coin until you learn from your mistakes.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 17, 2013, 12:35:34 AM
Do you think the bankers launching Bitcoin ETF are gonna go get a degree on software programming or maybe they're gonna hire a programmer they trust?  I have 6 years of college, I'm not 25, I'm sick of school and programming is very difficult - it's basically an engineering degree.

Oh, man, you are not even bothering to understand what you are told about.

Believe me, you will go nowhere with the dumbest attitude of yours “I don’t want to understand anything, I just give you money and you make me rich”. If you don’t understand in principle what is cryptocurrency, you will make false assumptions and they will make you fail. Your first failure with Nuggets already shows clearly that you must go and learn about what you are investing into. If you feel that’s too difficult maybe you’d better get out of cryptocurrency altogether? It won’t make you rich just because God told you so. You can only get rich if you create something very innovative and popular. Which cannot be done if you don’t understand the guiding principles of the system. No one here is asking that you understand code. I am not a professional programmer and I’ve never studied cryptography, but I read Bitcoin wiki and now I can explain basic principles of Bitcoin to a layman. Sure, there are some points that I am not clear about, but at least I have and can convey some basic understanding of the subject. Which means, even a halfwit (your moniker for me) can learn how Bitcoin works, please don’t tell me that you are worse than that. Brainless?
