I can't imagine that binance will continue to maintain leadership in the cryptocurrency market and all these regulations that are increasing day by day. Regulations will make it difficult for a highly liquid cryptocurrency platform to offer an optimal trading experience while complying with all regulatory legislation.
If you're unsure about Binance's position in the future, which platform do you think might take over the crypto trading landscape? Maybe another exchange, e.g. Coinbase, or could DEXes become more prominent? While I agree that Binance is facing a lot of regulatory hurdles right now, I don't think it'll lose its dominance as a CEX unless CZ makes massive fraud like SBF did with FTX/Alameda.

I can't watch Manchester City vs Sheffield United anymore, completely one sided game and Sheffield United has no chance to reach Manchester City's defenders, after 70 minutes they've not made any shoot. Even though Manchester City win with big margin against Burnley, but Burnley was able to compete and made few shots. Props to Wesley Foderingham since he have made good saves.
You jinxed it! Literally just minutes after you made this post Sheffield scored a goal A bad backheel from Walker in the penalty box made City lose the ball and then Bogle made the shot. What a blunder from City. Edit: Thankfully Rodri scored another goal for City quickly after. Now City is back leading with 2-1.

Isn't the SEC's decision over BlackRock's ETF scheduled next week? I believe it is.
Yeah, the first deadline for BlackRock's ETF is set for September 2, 2023. However, it seems like everybody is already expecting that the SEC might opt for yet another delay like they did with the ARK/21Shares ETF. We might have to wait until the final deadline, i.e. next year, for the decision.

Surprisingly smart move there, and it could actually be a boost for the whole crypto scene. More companies are starting to realize that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are solid investments and can hold value well. A few years ago it was just MicroStrategy making all the noise about them buying millions of Bitcoin. Now, others are joining in, even if they're not throwing in as much money as Saylor. The crypto market could definitely use some fresh funds, especially after taking hits from defaults and frauds like FTX. These new investments from companies outside the crypto space might be just the thing it needs. On a different note, I'm kinda amazed that OF has an annual revenue of over a billion dollars with a profit margin of over 50%. What a business.

I'll watch some Asian CSGO instead. Here we have the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier (5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2023). These BO1, pug-like games usually have a high chance of upset so I'm throwing some bets to the underdogs.
Welp, didn't work out. I'm going to continue betting on this event though, especially since one of the teams today (NKT) has one Indonesian player (BnTeT). It's going to be a tough match against The Mongolz but I'll root for him regardless
On the higher-tier tournament today I'll bet on the Pari Dunav Party matches.

ESL Pro League Season 18 is starting next week with Group A games on Wednesday. Can't wait for EPL! This weekend we had no big CSGO event and it feels empty. Vitality is directly playing again in the first round against Orks, a team that I am not really familiar with and I don't think there is any chance for Vitality to be losing the best of 3 match.
I would say Vitality should breeze past through their group. No real contenders there, the closest one being Astralis, which I think Vitality wouldn't have a hard time beating on a BO3. And maybe they'll face GamerLegion in the group upper final, but that should be an easy one too.
Due to the lack of tier-one events, I'll watch some Asian CSGO instead. Here we have the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier (5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2023). These BO1, pug-like games usually have a high chance of upset so I'm throwing some bets to the underdogs.

As an investor, i bought so many exchange based tokens! Bnb, uniswap, kucoin (kcs), cake, houbi (ht), FTP and so on. Undoubtedly those exchangers are so big and reputable. I though those altcoins will pump if exchange get larger during time and if exchange add more pair with their altcoin on their platform, then price will boom but most of those are like shitcoin, dumped 70-80℅ in long run except bnb. So what do you think? I'm no longer going to invest any exchange coin anymore!
Exchange tokens' prices drop significantly when cryptocurrency trading activity slows down, like we're experiencing right now. If you bought them at higher prices last year, well tough luck. I think it's performance will still be highly correlated to the overall crypto market trend. So, if you think the crypto market will go up again in the near future, getting exchange tokens could be a way to profit from that. That said, I wouldn't recommend buying tokens like BNB and HT. They have risky legal and regulatory problems. I can't count how many Binance and Justin Sun FUD we had in these last few months. Smaller exchanges like Kucoin might not be a good idea either. I'm personally more interested towards investing in Coinbase stock ($COIN). It's a public company with transparent financials and a leading position in navigating regulatory challenges in the US. With their recent expansion into international derivative exchanges and the launch of the Base chain, Coinbase stock has become even more appealing. It's definitely an asset I'm looking to accumulate during this bear market. But for individuals like me who aren't US citizens, purchasing this stock might be challenging.

As far as the title goes, surely some of you have noticed this trend about the social thing on friend tech. Lots of influencers have gaining extra money and eth upon creation of their profile which were bought by other people and collecting massive fees on trading and the value it gives them. Ive tried it out to see how it goes and it really favors CT and influencers that are famous. What are your thoughts on this? Ive seen some doing a quick buck trading as well. Its like a systematic nft trading but with the use of profile as commodity.
Not sure the trend will stay strong as some are just making money when the price rise up already and sold. Wanted to know anyones opinions. Or does anyone also try it already?
Ya, this is mostly for influencers and bots. My profile shares were instantly bought by bots the moment I registered. I can see why they're botting it though, buying some influencers' shares early and cheap is guaranteed profit. Guess we need to find some hidden gems among CT profiles I think it still has a lot of room to grow, i.e. we're early, I haven't seen many non-CT influencers and they haven't launched the token yet. But I think it won't be sustainable, 2-3 months of hype at best. They have a point system which updated every friday but not sure what this for, could be an airdrop thing.
Points system and backed by Paradigm? Of course they're gonna have a token

I guess ENCE's luck stops here huh. I thought they would have gotten another 2-0 after winning the 1st map
Yeah, ENCE dominated Vitality on that 1st map I thought they had it. Can't count anymore how many 2nd places they had recently, really need to work out how to close games in grand finals Congrats on the win!
|
|
|
If only we had made -1.5 on all ENCE's games then we would have gotten decent profit by now lol. ENCE odds of winning were high though so the -1.5 option would have been great Yeah lol didn't expect that at all. It would be an absolute dominance if ENCE can win the whole tournament without dropping a map, though very unlikely given how Vitality is near prime too. The payout for Vitality is lower with only @1.7 and they lost against ENCE in the IEM Cologne tournament, but I am still going to go with Vitality for the match today. ENCE might deserve the win, but so does flameZ, he played really well on Mirage yesterday and carried his team alone against G2. Such a young talented player also deserves to win a big tournament.
FlameZ, Zywoo, and Magisk are playing consistently well in this tournament so far, all three averaging above 1.2 ratings. If everyone can show up like yesterday it'll be another banger (hopefully). Well then, good luck everyone!

Gratz on winning this
Thanks! What's your pick for Gamers8 grand final? I think ENCE is going to continue their BO3 win streak. Their win against Heroic yesterday was so convincing. Really want to see the roster get another trophy, they deserved it.

My picks for today's matches. Really looking forward to Cloud9 vs ENCE match, I think it'll be a banger. Expecting a straightforward win for the rest of the matches, G2 and Heroic.
2/2, nice win yesterday. Cloud9 didn't show up yesterday, couldn't even get two digits rounds in both maps against ENCE. Moving on, both semis are guaranteed bangers. Both matches are a rematch of the Cologne group upper final, so I'll make my picks based on those results, i.e. ENCE and G2.

How's everyone doing with SEI airdrop? I wasn't eligible for the testnet airdrop (it wasn't worth much anyway) but my Ethereum address was eligible for the crosschain airdrop. I got 23 SEI ($4) from the common treasure hahaha certainly not the airdrop we're expecting. People from Twitter reported the highest rarity treasure reward (obtained by bridging more than 10k USDC) can get you more than 5k SEI ($1k), which is substantial. But I couldn't risk bridging 10k USD to an obscure chain with an untested bridge so I skipped that one

Took the opposite bet and yeah Navi was pretty good against Furia but I still think that Vitality is going to pummel them 2-0 so watch out for this Welp, what a lackluster performance from Navi. 16-2 on their map pick was a disaster Congrats on the win!

Can't take FURIA seriously again after the recent roster change, at least not in the tier 1 scene. They only won 1 match in Cologne play-in against Grayhound, and now have been struggling in the IEM Sydney Open Qualifiers. They lose to some random mix-team in the second open qualifier and don't even make it to RO-16. This new roster won't work sadly. Should be easy for Navi in the opening round of Gamers8, that 1.4 odds looks interesting. Navi won as expected. I forgot to place bets on the rest of the opening matches Anyway, here's my pick for today's matches. Quite disappointed that Navi has to meet Vitality this early in the tournament. It's going to be tough for them as Vitality is the favorite here. Still betting on them though

Nice to hear that. Its same on metamask? Like they have their own app and does they have extension chrome like most apps? Can we just import our wallet to use there or needed to create a new one? Rabby currently has two forms: a chrome extension (like MetaMask) and a native desktop app for Windows and MacOS. I only used the extension version though. Yes you can use your existing wallet by importing your seed phrase. Check it out here https://rabby.io/Im sure since you are active, you have seen the leak rumors about these requirements. But it said that it is a criteria option not mentioning an airdrop so we shouldnt have our high hopes.
Yeah nothing is ever 100% confirmed until the team announces it For minting the Web3 ID that cost around $96, I will mint once I have enough incoming funds this month as I was kind of managing my funds very well especially that I do not have any stable job yet (hopefully Sei airdrop would be the biggest answer but not expecting much from them) and my clients weekly aren't that consistent too.
I don't know why the ID has to be that expensive. Right now it doesn't even have any utility yet outside of DeBank. (hopefully Sei airdrop would be the biggest answer but not expecting much from them)
Sei starts trading on the 15th and still no specific details about the airdrop yet. This worries me, even though I'm not sure I'll be eligible cause I don't use the SEI testnet that much. (Sorry for being off topic )

Hows the user experience mate? Hearing your feedback is like an excitement for us haha not to miss this activity on debank. Nice UI, so much more functionality, e.g. approvals review, default multichain support, gas top-up, and better safeguard around transactions. It's so much better than MetaMask in my opinion. Can I ask if you have minted the web3 ID and do some follow for follow on socials. Cause there are rumors found on github about criteria on possible airdrop like these: - More than $1k funds -minted webID worth $97 -TVF greater than 0
I haven't mint the Web3 ID and building followers on DeBank because I didn't think there'll be an airdrop. But with this new information, I'm planning to build my TVF slowly (still have a few months, no rush ) and mint the Web3 ID soon.

And in the last match NaVi vs Furia, I think that NaVi is going to win. Even with FalleN playing again I don't think the Brazilians are strong enough this year.

Yeah you are right. But who knows since doing an airdrop without much services wont be useful at all but we all knew these guys are unpredictable when it comes to something like this.
Yesterday DeBank announced they are launching the DeBank chain, currently in testnet. https://twitter.com/DeBankDeFi/status/1689963919614611457. It's another L2 built on Optimism stack, like Base and opBNB. To try the Debank chain testnet you have to request the gas token from the faucet which is only available on Rabby wallet. It all makes sense now. Up until this point I didn't know Rabby and DeBank were built by the same team. This is a very clever user acquisition efforts by them. I've heard good things about Rabby wallet before but couldn't be bothered to move from MetaMask. With this DeBank chain testnet, I finally try the Rabby wallet and I really love it. It's way better than MetaMask in terms of user experience. So yeah, Rabby x DeBank chain is a direct competitor to MetaMask x Linea, in a way. I think the launch of the DeBank chain 99% confirms there will be an airdrop for DeBank chain in the future, most likely in 2024 when they launch the mainnet.
