81  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is anyone buying cloud mining now? on: August 30, 2014, 06:08:39 AM
cloud is definatelly profitable , for the pool

Agree, if it is not profitable for the pool then the pool wouldn't sell it.

I know , i know its late in the game,  but my friend and I place and order for this back in January, and it just arrived.

So we are at about 1.4 Thash right now,  mining with BTCguild just trying to get our feet wet.   Any body know best mining pool to join,  when we are finally mining at full speed we should be x2 our current rate.     one of our psu's went down.  RMA'ing with EVGA.

Thanks for your guys help.   This is our first hashing machine, and it was a loooong wait.    man this game takes patience.

So to sum up.  what is best pool to join?  Or if you know any good sites to visit to learn more.

Now all we all need is for bit coin prices to moon out again.

Good to hear that you finally get your mining gear, as for pool BTCguild is good..

91  Other / Off-topic / Re: AVG free anti-virus on: August 11, 2014, 03:04:17 AM
Nothing will keep your computer 100% safe from a keylogger and/or a screen logger. It would be possibly for an attacker to install a physical keylogger that is between your keyboard and your computer, the same is true with your monitor. This gets much more complicated if you have a laptop but is still, in theory possible.

You are saying like a USB plug in attack?

93  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you do to keep fit ? on: August 11, 2014, 02:52:25 AM
Do you have a personal coach or do you control youe workouts yourself?
I lose patience when somebody tells me what to do, so for me Beets BLU hrm was the best option, what about you, guys?  Roll Eyes

You don't need to workout much to keep fit, just eat healthy and avoid oily junk food.

95  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would this computer be OK for gaming? Input, please! on: August 11, 2014, 02:50:29 AM
Hey all,

My laptop recently broke and I've been in search of a high end PC for everyday use.  I also do plan to play games often, so I would like your input, would I get a decent FPS (say, 50 +?) for modern day games on medium/high/ultra settings with these specs?

This is a DELL computer (IK, not a customized computer, nor a gaming one :-/)

Processor:
4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.0 GHz)
Memory: 12GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz - 4 DIMMs
Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 745 4GB DDR3 (OEM version, duh.  Not sold in the open market).

I'm mainly wondering about the GPU; the processor and RAM don't seem to be a problem...
If this computer isn't the best, do you guys have any good desktops to recommend?  My budget would probably be $1000 CAD or less for just the destop.

Thanks in advance!

P.S.  The games I'm looking to play would be: Battlefield 4, GTA V (when it comes out), Far cry 4, and other games on that level. Smiley

The computer is good enough for overall gaming but not max peformance, you will need better GPU for it...

97  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: the best places to sell advertising on: August 10, 2014, 02:52:15 PM
The trend here is using signature for advertising.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: signature tracks on: August 10, 2014, 02:51:50 PM
I would like to know too, there is always a alternative right?
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is that? on: August 10, 2014, 02:50:41 PM
Not clear enough to see, any bigger picture?
