141  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining contracts, any reliable ones? on: November 17, 2013, 03:38:00 PM
I've seen a few sites that offer mining contracts. Generally you pay so much for 1gh for one year with payments made weekly to your specified wallet. I like the idea but are there any reliable mining farms out there to do business with?

There are realiable ones but its overpriced... you should buy some mining rig or just buy BTC...
142  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 10 Port USB HUB ORICO not enough power on: November 17, 2013, 03:35:57 PM
I think my ORICO 10 Port USB HUB don't get enough power to distribute into the slots to mine my Asics.

All my Asics are working fine, but when I connect them all in the slots, some doesn't mine nothing.

Is there something I can do to fix it?

Thanks.

Get a better powered USB hub...
143  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild cheating / being cheated? on: November 17, 2013, 03:34:29 PM
Here's a strange coincidence - just when transaction revenue was all time high (source: http://imgur.com/fVnj0PV,yklZue7) the BTC guild pool luck was all time low (source: http://imgur.com/fVnj0PV,yklZue7#1)

This accounted for hundreds of BTC lost revenue for the miners.

Coincidence? What do you think?

Its just luck, no body can control the network...
144  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: GPU mining - load 64% and under on: November 17, 2013, 03:32:55 PM
Tried with both script and sha - however cgminer  doesnt seem to go above 64% gpu load. high intensity etc can "crash" or slow down pc but load is still pretty low.

for example:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://x:3334 -u x.1 -p x -k poclbm -I 6 -w 256

it feels like wasting  third of potential power.

increase your intensity, change the thread and you should be good..
145  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: cgminer - windws, shortcut to apply settings? on: November 17, 2013, 03:31:30 PM
im using cgminer now.
works great BUT somehow i cannot copy-paste there creditentials are typing is very boring. any way to make shortcut that will auto add all data needed? i msure its possible but dont know how.

You need to create a .bat file if you want shortcut, you can then put in your settings like username and password...
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worth buying Bitfuty chips? Also can Butterfly labs mine alt coins on: November 17, 2013, 03:29:13 PM
Hmm, thanks so i could pretty much mine everything from gpu/cpu.

Yeah well i did want a little mining rig but if there not worth it well meh lol

Well FYI, you should mine litecoin for GPU to increase your profitability by 10x...
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 280X or HD 7970 on: November 17, 2013, 03:27:51 PM
Wait for R9 280 guys, without the x... it should be even better then R9 290 or R9 290x..

The X edition is better

I don't think so, I heard they are putting new chip on R9 280 and should reduce the power usage.. we just have to wait for now..

No sorry the X editions are better because they have more shader cores unlocked. More shaders cores = efficient mining. The shaders cores are whats used for computing the hash. To use the older card designators a 280 is a Pro and a 280x is an XT.

I never trust the spec, the best way to know is to wait for the card itself and try it out...

149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why inputs.io/CoinLenders users might not get fully refunded on: November 17, 2013, 03:23:12 PM
Seriously, if TF is trying to hard to scam everyone why do partial refund?
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best ways to get into Bitcoins on: November 17, 2013, 03:21:17 PM
Please guys tell me whats the best way for getting deeper into the Bitcoin business.

Right now Im investing a little bit and I have great experiences so far with Bitcoin.
I really would like to benefit more from Bitcoins, like getting commission on people signing up on Bitcoin Marketplaces and pretty much the whole SEO thing.
Right now I prefer Bitbillions- invitation only site- link is in my Signature-  is worth trying

But there must be better ways, no mining

I live in Central Europe and besides the online Marketing what else can I do or start with little investment.
im really motivated and got enough time right now to dedicate myself to a project
I dont mind working with other people aswell.

Please guys if you know of anything besides the free Bitcoin sites- all suggestions and Investment opportunites are welcome

I personally like GPU mining on litecoin, some people said that CPU mining is even more profitable now..
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: six months later and I'm lost on: November 17, 2013, 03:19:09 PM
The reason I switched to MultiBit is because I got a new computer. I'd actually forgotten about the bitcoin because it was static. I've got my Qt login, but never exported the .dat file. :-(   Guess I'm screwed. Funny because I'm really good about doing backups, generally speaking. I just never thought to back up the wallet because I guess I never realized I couldn't just log in with my identifying info and access the bitcoin. I'm lucky it wasn't a large amount of money.

What was truly astounding to me, however, when I logged on yesterday to get back up to speed with bitcoin, was that the value of what I'd been given had quadrupled! So even though I lost basically everything, I'm going to start over, and this time I know to back up the wallet.

If you didn't backup your wallet.dat file you are doomed. Your wallet is gone....

Cheers

Really depends on the pricing, cointerra is offering 2TH/s for only 5999$....

158  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: best minig pool for big/small miner? on: November 16, 2013, 04:19:53 AM
hi all, I'm still curious if there is such as thing as the best pool for big or small miner. say I have a 10 GHS asic and a 1 THS, should i point the 2 different asic at 2 different pools?

what is the best strategy?

What about solo mining for both? Since U have 1 TH/s your odds are pretty high..
