Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.
It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.
My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.
Honestly, I am not into this merit system until now. I am still bitter about this system. However, I agree with the system's logic about merits. Yes, It is to prevent shitposting and spammers from our forum. Also, I am encouraged do make quality posts so those who give merits will notice me even though it only happened once. Let's just accept the fact that there is a merit system. If you keep on complaining, nothing will happen. At least you've got 12 merits now, good for you. |

Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.
It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.
But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot
People scam because they are greedy and selfish. They don't think other people's welfare as long as they have acquire lots of money and buy things they want and do all things they want to do. It is really sad to think that there are people who risk other's lives, money and riches just to get them. |

I'm probably stupid in taking this somewhat traditional attitude, and I have awarded merits in my threads in the past. I'm cruising through some threads looking to award merits, but I'm having trouble finding posts that I like. Maybe I'm a bit distracted because I'm listening to political comments while I do it.
So what do you guys think, should I include my own threads in my merit awarding hunts?
If you see someone worth of giving merits to, then, why not, you started the thread anyway. Look for something that really made you "Yeah, that's pretty cool!", "You have a point there dude" or anything that made you agree or think. Honestly, why keep your lots of merits when there are someone who need really need them. There will be someone who will award you a merit so, share.... |

Although I admit, I also thought about what you are offering.

TOP official of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) vows to study bitcoin amid Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) accepting stance on cryptocurrencies. PNB chair Flor Gozon Tarriela said they are looking at bitcoin and blockchain technology very cautiously but stressed the bank is not into it yet. “PNB will closely study the disruptions going on in the financial sector. We want to know more about the trends. We want to be aware of what is happening. But as to our plans to venture, we are not into it yet,” said Tarriela, adding that they are in the process of studying its dynamics and its possible effects to the banking business. A bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator. While it recognized the potential benefits of virtual currencies as it facilitate the movement of funds at a much faster, cheaper, and convenient way, the BSP is equally cautious of the potential risks including illicit activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing. It has advised the public that they have to be conscious of the opaqueness of transactions involving bitcoins. To minimize risks, the BSP encouraged existing and prospective virtual currency users to deal only with BSP-registered virtual currency exchanges and maintain only a sufficient amount of virtual currency enough to address transaction requirements. BSP warned that virtual currency users should properly secure their virtual currency holdings and observe security tips to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information and transaction details. “The BSP still has to issue regulations on this virtual currencies. But, we, in the banking industry advocate the know-your-customer first,” said Tarriela. PNB’s thrust this year is to go digital. Tarriela said they have launched mobile banking apps to cater to the needs of the tech-savvy market. “The way to go, really, is digital,” she said, adding that this will also help them reach out to the unbanked population. Actually,not potentially, fast food chain foods can really kill us. People still eat these kinds of foods, I think, because they are not well informed about the diseases these foods cause at big,early and continuous consumption. It is really alarming that families choose to eat outside of their houses instead of having a more intimate conversation over meals. |

I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.
If it is for your own health, that is a good decision. Do everything you can do as long as you can still do it. Travel, eat, have a chat with your friends. You cannot take with you your money so live while it last. I have a long bucket list but until now, I still need money to do them. So save save save for me! |

Bitcoin is a global craze. Even farmers, students, the older, housewives ... who are don’t know what is blockchain also buy bitcoin. Because there are so many new investors investing in it in the hope of making a big profit. But actually that is not investing that is gambling.  I do not prevent you investing to make money but invest wisely. Especially do not put all the property into bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hope people do not blindly participate in this gamble.  Like me! I honestly do not know this whole bitcoin thing that is why I am afraid to invest. I don't want to regret in the end because I made a wrong decision. Reading more about BTC is the only thing I needed to do before anything else. I do hope I won't make any rush decisions in the future. |

I've come to realize that the key to real success depends 100% on success as well the same thing that happened to those who sold their Bitcoin when the price was not up will happen to tones of Bitcoin members and moving on most people don't like when they are about to be given the strongest care from a person who cares for them when they tell them to simply wait not knowing the kind of surprises they have in store for them.
It was real and i myself withnessed it with my own very eyes alot of people complained about Bitcoin for showing up some low price and due to impatient tones of people sold thier coins at cheaper price but now look at bitcoin now all those people are being haunted in thier mind day in day out for selling out thier coins.
Always learn from the mistakes of others in other not to be a victim if it truly that success it what you seek you will master patient and remain calm.

Do you guys think that there should be another rank added for old sincere members of because lots of members are legendary for years and now new members becoming legendary, I guess it's important to increase another rank such as Supreme, Pioneer, or Ultimate to make them interested.
It's just an opinion let's see how people react to my topic if you like my comment thank you but if not comment your suggestions on this.
I guess there is no need to add another one. There is so many ranks that I need to achieve. I am having a hard time in making my rank higher already to add one or two more is so bothersome. Do you think that master degree is important? I see that many companies nowadays ask for a master degree but still I know many people who had a job without it. Do you think it is essential?
Actually it depends on your chosen career, just like mine. In my country and in my field of profession, a master's degree is a big help for my promotion especially a doctoral degree. There is a big points for those who graduated in the higher degree. Maybe there are professions that doesn't need master's or doctoral degree. Professionally speaking, having these degree can also boost your self-confidence and love for yourself. |
