82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: July 11, 2018, 05:57:22 AM
Crypto is going strong? Well, in my humble opinion just like the other said, right now is the best time to buy token/coins or investing but you should be very careful in investing your own money. I may advice you to study and read a lot. For now, the market is very down, but it has potential to go up again and again. So crypto is still strong whether during a downturn or up turn.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: June 23, 2018, 07:25:56 AM
Yes bitcoin transaction fee increases day by day. I think bitcoin never reduce their fee because bitcoin users increased more and their transactions increased more. So best way to convert bitcoin to other coin and stop to pay high tx fee.
84  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: June 23, 2018, 07:17:08 AM
Characters like Roger Ver deserve the worst punishment there possibly can be, Cheating innocent souls into making wrong decisions by a figure like Ron is a very unfortunate and a disgrace, just shows how greedy people can get in this business.  The newbies need to be enlightened, there are all kinds of information available online about this coins, it will be in order if you took your time as a newbie to look into these coins an make informed investment choices,
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: June 22, 2018, 04:20:59 PM
I’d say it’s good news for us, the more companies that are competing to provide software/hardware the cheaper the prices will get from the competition. The other benefit is that once these large corporations start to benefit from the crypto industry, either directly through investment or indirectly through selling hardware/software, they will start to use their lobbying force to push back government attempts to hurt the crypto community. Once they start realizing how much their bottom line is affected by people buying their products to mine, they will become more protective and use their political influence to curtail anti-crypto legislation.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 22, 2018, 04:11:16 PM
If you really need some emergency cash and the only option left is your bitcoin, why not sell it? Bitcoin is not only for investment purposes you can also use it any emergency needs converting it to cash so it is not a big loss but a big help. I usually sell bitcoin when its price is high when it seem already reach its limit in uptrend then wait for the market to go down more before buying to avoid possible losses.
At least one of the reasons for investment is to get what you want in times of need.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No women in Bitcoin you say? on: June 22, 2018, 03:46:41 PM
Bitcoin has no restrictions in terms of gender, age or anything. As long as you have the capacity to do a thing that is needed, you're in. So I think that the diversity of women in bitcoin is quite a lot if we'll be measuring and estimating it.
In my community, we have a crypto group or caucus, and I know a quite number of ladies and women that we in together.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Futures on: June 22, 2018, 03:41:21 PM
l pretty much believe that bitcoin has a bright future and the price will increase in the future even if now the price is down too deep. the correction price happens and we can see the price is dropped and if we can buy bitcoin at this time, then we can sell it at the higher price later. there will be another time to wait for the price increase back so we can take our profit and I still wait the price is back to increase. maybe we can see the price reach another higher price towards the end of the year.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is masternode on: June 22, 2018, 03:31:34 PM
Masternodes provide the opportunity to invest in Cryptocurrencies with the added benefit of earning guaranteed extra coins in addition to gaining exposure to the large potential increases in value that can come within the Cryptosphere and owning cryptocurrencies.

These coins are awarded through running a node and as covered later in this article these rewards can also be used to generate rewards on top of your rewards.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Definition for bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater on: June 22, 2018, 03:18:08 PM
Bankers are partial haters of bitcoin. They know bitcoin when fully  adopted will surely close banks except they will incorporate blockchain to their operations. Politicians when they win election will form government which is not bitcoin friendly. Bitcoin is decentralized and can not be controlled. But government want to control bitcoin but it is not possible and that is why government want to kill bitcoin.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: June 22, 2018, 02:59:09 PM
Many big guys started buying it, so rich always get richer, dont forget it, so for a regular people it is hard to hold, coz they need fast money, or if price goes down they will panic and sell it with loses, coz they do not understand how market works.
Everything in life is all about risks, even your sleeping and waking up is all about risk. If you ruminate so much on the risks involved, I'm afraid if you will not return yourself to Methuselah's age.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: June 22, 2018, 02:49:14 PM
The fact is that when it comes to new ideal or technology, a lot of people that didn't know how it works will definitely hate it.  However, as for me  I have the biggest working solution to deal with haters and that is all about not giving in to their destructive criticisms. There is a type of haters who hate Bitcoin and everything without getting any information about it so I am not blaming constructive criticizers here. I believe that we should keep building awareness about crypto and blockchain on our individual level instead of fighting/arguing with the haters.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: June 22, 2018, 02:36:12 PM
It is a great news that schools already accept bitcoin for the payment of tuition fees. It is just a sign that people specially academic institutions are embracing the existence of bitcoin. But it is still indeniable that this new trend requires acceptance not only by few institutions but also every single schools-primary to tertiary.
However, I don't know when this will be possible in my country.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Bitcoin safely ? on: June 14, 2018, 10:35:19 AM
To me i prefer hardware wallets.  This is more secure than a desktop wallet and paper wallet. These wallets are bits of hardware, external devices like USB sticks which you can carry around on your person. An added benefit of a hardware wallet is the complete anonymity with which you can transact. There is no personal information linked to the hardware, so no identifying data which could be leaked. Hardware wallets are resilient to malware, and if you happen to lose the wallet you'll be able to recover the funds using a seed phrase.

95  Economy / Speculation / Re: cryptocurrency exchange hack on: June 13, 2018, 10:25:02 PM
I don't really know much about cryptocurrency exchange hack but I know of possibility of hack in myetherwallet. One of the ways of sending coins to the exchange wallet on mew is through private keys, if this is hacked, then private keys can be revealed.

Instead of using mew, many times I used to send directly from imtoken.

Fraudulent activities like hacking cannot be totally controlled but more digital security is needed to curtail this.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 13, 2018, 10:11:57 PM
Though Bitcoin was not designed as a normal equity investment (no shares have been issued), some speculative investors were drawn to the digital money after it appreciated rapidly in May 2011 and again in November 2013. Thus, many people purchase bitcoin for its investment value rather than as a medium of exchange. But their lack of guaranteed value and digital nature means the purchase and use of bitcoins carries several inherent risks. Many investor alerts have been issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and other agencies.

But inspite of all these threats, scares and warnings, everything in life is or are involved with one level of risk or the other, what is the essence of the money I put in bank with almost nothing to gain from it at the  end of the year.

I prefer my investment in Bitcoin than any fucking bank.

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: June 13, 2018, 09:39:50 PM
Bitcoin offers a unique challenge upon death. Since bitcoins only exist in virtual form and are encrypted by their very nature, they are extremely secure. Each bitcoin owner has a private password, or key, that allows secure access to the bitcoins stored in their digital wallet. Unfortunately, there is no method of retrieving this private key for a potential heir because there is no central authority that tracks the private keys.

If you pass away without leaving anyone the private key, your bitcoins effectively become inaccessible to anyone. Similarly, if you leave your private key behind without a clear explanation of what it is and how to use it, your bitcoins are likely to stay lost. It's similar to a key to a safety deposit box without any indicator of where the box is located -- except that a bank will eventually clear out a safety deposit box to reclaim the space.

Nobody would ever "clear out" old bitcoins to retain space if they could, because there's no incentive to do so. The genius of bitcoin is that the algorithm that creates them inherently limits the supply -- so when bitcoins are lost, the remaining supply in circulation become a bit more valuable through scarcity.

How do you make sure that your bitcoins are properly passed on? The simplest way is to make sure that your heirs are aware of your bitcoin account and that you either trust them with the private key now, or store the private key in a suitably secure location such as a safety deposit box. You can store the key on a flash drive or use a good old-fashioned piece of paper.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Coin is a Ponzi Scheme on: June 13, 2018, 09:05:54 PM
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for older investors by acquiring new investors. This is similar to a pyramid scheme in that both are based on using new investors’ funds to pay the earlier backers. For both Ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes, eventually there isn’t enough money to go around, and the schemes unravel.

Absolutely nothing about Bitcoin is a secret. It is one of the most open technologies in the world. It’s open source, anyone can review the code, anyone can contribute to the code, anyone can run the software voluntarily and participate in the network, and anyone can use the network without permission.

The entire history of all Bitcoin transactions is visible to anyone in the world too.
It’s a total paradigm shift from any kind of financial system in the history of mankind. It’s the total opposite of a fraudulent investing scam, which is shrouded in vague promises of high returns with capital inflows and outflows that are kept in a secret ledger.

Bitcoin doesn’t generate returns. It’s just software. The price of Bitcoin is directly correlated to its scarcity and demand. The demand is not forced on others, nor do Bitcoin’s biggest proponents go around asking people for money and telling them to invest more into Bitcoin. New users that join the Bitcoin network don’t fund the older users with new money. Not at all.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 13, 2018, 08:13:53 PM
There are many reasons why Bitcoin will remain dominant:

1.  It created the space
2.  It's been time tested, and the blockchain has been rock solid and unhacked since it's inception
3.  It has a finite supply of coins
4.  There are some of the best minds in the world continuously working to improve it
5.  Millions of dollars worth of man power and money have been used to launch ventures that aim to capitalize on the chain by working towards widespread adoption by solving real world problems.
6.  It's provided a way to deliver decentralized trustless truth
and lots more.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 13, 2018, 06:46:37 AM
It is true that when you invest into anything other than a bank account (which is insured by the government), you are risking a loss of that investment. Yes, you could receive higher than bank’s rate or you could lose it all.

When you have a bank account and the bank goes out of business, it is very possible that the government will reimburse you up to a certain amount.

However, irrespective of any risk involved in my opinion, Bitcoin is the best option available for the investment and expecting the returns better than anything.

Because we have seen the Blockchain Technology the Bitcoin uses a big success. The Bitcoin being the cryptographic currency offers a great option for international trading. More and more businesses are adopting the digital currency and Bitcoin is most popular amongst all.
