I know those talks here are being about FPGA having them at home running and configured.
But does somebody have already looked into the possibilities of Amazon EC2-F1 instances? They are also providing FPGA in their datacenters (1 instance consists of 8 pieces of 16 nm Xilinx UltraScale Plus FPGA's).
As you can build images and re-deploy on any other FPGA i was wondering that might be in interest somehow? I just wanted to bring that up as another opporunity which might be in interest.
I would definitely try that out - if i understand this might be possible to run "off-shore" rather than home but still having dedicated hardware. Therefore i would be in a need of understanding if all the work being done here is also able being used and replicated in the Amazon Cloud/Datacenter. (especially the bitstreams/firmware)

Hi guys,
Was looking for this thread for a while, and decided to give nemosminer a try for one of my gtx 1060 rig so see how it works.
As far as i understood it checks the best profitability at the moment on selected pools and performing a mining on that pool/algo. But what abt. minimal payout from these pools? For example it mines 1 hr on one pool/algo, than 1 hr on another pool/algo etc., so i might happen that some funds will left on the pool as its lower than min payouts right? And also it might happen that withdrawal comission from the pool eats a decent part of the profit, right?
Can anyone share optiomal settings/pool lost for nvidia?
I only use one pool, but I wouldn't use more than three. As long as your active on each pool, you'll be fine. Most only purge your earnings if inactive for three months. The more pools, the longer it takes for payouts. The pool fees are low.. .5% - 1% There are a few other fees. The developers of Nemosminer get a small fee (.3% to .5%) and most of the miners used by Nemosminer are free, but a few may have a 1% fee. Overall the fees are minimal. |

Benchmark is wrong, i do 41mh with x16r and enemyminer
It says 20mh 50% less... So can't be accurate
For x16r use suprminer (ccminersupaminer.ps1). I've just ran a test tonight on all the x16r miners (except enemy) and suprminer was the best. I don't trust enemy and I don't believe their benchmarks. Note that suprminer 1.6 is beta. Use 1.5 Suprminer Ravencoin Nevermore Ravenminer What were the % gains between them? What -i did you use? I ran them concurrent a few weeks back and stuck with nevermore.x64 v0.22 -i 20 as it beat out the rest by ~4%. 2 x 1080ti no OC Suprminer 33.75 Ravencoin 31.14 Nevermore 26.00 Ravenminer 23.48 Using default intensity. |

Got one more issue - sometimes ccminer stops working or crashes. Does this miner check hash or something like that? Last time it froze for an hour. I can use watchdog, but it will reboot the system and reset the estimates.
btw, the difference between estimates and real income is around 30-40% for zergpool and ahashpool. Looks too much for me. Is it okay for pools to be that optimistic?

Are the Cards overclocked ? With Version 3.1 i had to reduce my Afterburner Settings to +100 Core to get it stable. Late summer feature request:
AMD version or support. AMD will be selling their Navi 7nm GPU in the second half of 2018. It will be low power, low price (abt $250), and run at GTX 1080 level.
Nvidia will also have their new GTX 11 series out by then. Will see an increase in performance, but the price will be the same or more than the current GTX 1080 Ti.
