81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 27, 2023, 01:02:34 AM
I'm not really getting used to TV ads like that on gambling, but most often it was seen on social media platform like Facebook and google play store. My kids and I didn't watch public television anymore, we're more exposed with social media like Facebook, youtube and google. It's kinda disturbing ads when you watch your favorite streaming videos, then suddenly their pop ups programs will appear and influencing through the winning platforms they had. I think that's not an interesting idea about advertisement, since gambling couldn't bring good future to everyone of us, but rather negative effects especially for the kids.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why China Recognize Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2023, 01:02:06 PM
There's a huge reason why China had come up to that certain decisions to choose bitcoin in the first place, but I see it has a lot of advantages in the near future of making our mode payment become digitalize.
The convenience and value of money became more important compared with traditional way of payment which is existing in different parts of the world.
Unfortunately, it's hard to adopt on some countries that's poor in education towards cryptocurrency.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 26, 2023, 10:49:43 AM
In the eyes of an innocent child, the wrong implications of a gambling activities done by every parents who gambles for money will eventually become the right actions for every child. As a strict parenting, that's not recommended to let your kids witness that acts of gambling in front of them. Though you're earnings money from winnings, but I don't think it's appropriate to educate then in an earlier age. They're supposed to study for their future, not to gamble just for luck.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see any value in move to earn crypto projects? on: September 26, 2023, 06:22:45 AM
There are some move to earn projects like stepn, stepapp etc . Do you see any value in them or it is just a death spiral?

These days all crypto projects and previous great moments with shitcoins has not shown any good improvements in the marketplace. Personally, I was holding some of those coins and even a token that spiked it's price once but I was fooled of long term holding promises that soon it will rise from the dead. However, it's stored on my trading account, still I'm hoping that another miracle will happen in the price that will trigger another bullrun unexpectedly.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 25, 2023, 06:29:21 PM
It made me sad if I hear a person drowned with addiction to gambling, without self control and financial literacy the probability tend to spike at worst. Most of us have been deceived with promotions and bonuses that's offered through different gambling ads and other pop ups around the world of internet, without knowing that they've been fooled by these operators online. Self control is very hard, specially when a person started to become greedy from small wins until it reaches out the limit of his expectations.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING] Crypto casino scam on teh move again. on: September 25, 2023, 03:14:50 PM
Many scam gambling sites is still doing different schemes that misleads people unto something that's isn't reliable particular with their winning promises. Unfortunately when they got into trouble with their account, their withdrawal couldn't be successful. Most cases resulted to closure of the site and no support is available to cater different concerns, because it involves huge amount of funds took by scammers who initiated the root cause of the problem as planned.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: chart reading and prediction on: September 25, 2023, 09:17:46 AM
We can't expect a perfect reference with technical analysis based on chart ready, because sometime it falls with low success rate. Specially in times of quick decisions we can't figure out a specific judgements with respect to projecting the right target. Predictions sometimes a win or lose trend, much better if we have a close monitoring of the trend as you became more educated and experience with this field trading career. However, I can't suggest this type of money making process to become sustainable in the future, since there's no perfect predictions to apply in different situation.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 25, 2023, 07:29:19 AM
I have seen several topics here and other discussion thread where many people talked about gambling addiction. So many procedures been stated to follow sequentially to reduce the rate at which one frequently visit online gambling sites and possibly their application if they do have any of them.

I remember in one of the threads I raised up a point which was long hidden as the thread became too numerous and lengthy to continue the conversation on that topic. It was my opinion to add up in profering solutions to gambling addiction. I believe not too many people saw it to to say something about it so that is why I had to bring it up as a topic hear. I want to hear your opinion and ideas towards it.

Here is it;

I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve. This was just a little tip I gave as a possible solution. I had to put it up here for further discussions so that the bigger community can see it as  well.

If you feel or think here is not the right place for this you can say it. I am open to corrections as we all are here to learn.

Nobody can correct itself in a faster way, what's important here is we should think for the long term effect that gambling could result to not just for our own but also for the family. Online ads is misleading and not those that promised high odds will become the reality. Lets be careful every time because we might be a future victims of non legit sites that will take huge amount of money from us. Once you got that bad experience, I believed we might fall into changing ourselves for a new journey for gambling perspectives.

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from a brother's mistake on: February 10, 2023, 01:38:10 AM
Many mistakes often taught me of hard lessons, just like this scenario which leading all eggs in one basket. That's the common phrases that comes from everybody's mouth, but unfortunately you weren't able to catch it up a lesson. Because everytime hype comes, same mistake will pull you over and commit the same error just like the old days. Personally I was that kind of dumb as person who suffers on that state of being scammed.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 24, 2022, 11:11:01 PM
That's not really a big deal for all of us, despite of the worst downturn of btc these past few weeks. However, in the other side of the story there's a huge impact to biggest investors who seriously followed the good pattern particular with the scalpers who earned thousands of dollars frequently.
We can't deny that we can't have regrets, because often times we tent to decide quickly or just ignore that instances of selling when it's at peak price because of greediness which we expect more profit.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for Traditional Banks to cooperate with Crypto on: June 13, 2022, 11:03:12 PM
DeFi or decentralized finance can threaten the world of traditional banking, because of the shift in lending, even DeFi itself is known to be able to provide loans like other traditional banks.
This can affect existing traditional banks, because there will be competition between traditional banks and crypto in general, regardless of the various problems that will occur, crypto and traditional banks must be able to adapt to each other.

Crypto development is progressing so rapidly, this can be seen from the many users who join here, if Traditional Banks close themselves it is not impossible to be abandoned in the next few years.
Although currently crypto is still very risky, it is not impossible that in the future crypto can change finances, just need to wait for regulations or legal regulations, if this happens, it is certain that crypto will grow and be accepted by many people.

These days banks already cooperated with crypto as per review made, just for example in binance p2p their mode of payment and has the option to link to each users bank account. But only for kyc verified users only, they're very careful on this matter of who's the one transacting with them due to potential scammers roaming online.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 15, 2021, 11:56:39 PM
A tornado has been raging in the crypto market for several months. As a result, Bitcoin was falling from 59,000 to 42,000 this month. After a while, 17 thousand dollars was reduced to see. It was coming down from 64,000 to 28,000 a few months ago. Why is there so much dumping in the market. Where the position of Bitcoin is supposed to go in the right direction? Do you think this is a sign of stable market?

Most probably we will have a stable market after the last dump experienced, and as whales took their profit last time I guess it's now time for the regular traders to accumulate on their own. Giving up is not a wise decision, let's follow the trend and go with the waves of cryptocurrency. Nobody wins of we don't embrace the losses.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the market going to dump like that 2018? on: December 15, 2021, 11:35:23 PM
Only red lights have been burning in the market for several days now. Many have investing and lost a lot. I have lost a lot by investing myself. I don't really understand which way the market is going or will go. What do you suggest in such a situation?

Don't you consider that's a lost, unless you're in panic then sold it in a cheap and declining price. Indeed many have invested a lot but they're so creepy to and don't have self control that's why they ended loser. Having a deep understanding in cryptocurrency needs our self examination on how could we survive during the bearish market. Exaggerating ideas couldn't help us reach our goals, so in times of crucial situation just keep your asset safe just chill and relax.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk to reward the right balance? on: December 15, 2021, 11:05:29 PM
We have different strategies so maybe it will not work for you, i always used the 1 is to 2 ratio to prevent massive losses.. But sometimes below the weak candle i consider it a safe placed as well to protect my capital from errors and the take profits it depends on my analysis . By the way i used to trade swing, break and sometimes scalping and for me that risk to reward setup is very useful. Less losses and big profits that's what it's.

You can't actually say that's the reality, having huge profit isn't consistent in most certain cases. There were times you need to take the risk in order to see whether you're losing or gaining, and most whales always take that actions because they had money to rule over. With us small time traders, fears and anxiety lingers within us because of financial capability issues so if you wanted to avoid several problems minimize the risk through acquiring focused trading skills.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to know if the project has a big future. on: December 15, 2021, 10:32:16 PM
I was a holder of the vulcan forge/pyr token I buy it for 2$ and I already sold it for only 2x profit and as what I have seen today it is mooning and listed to binance and it has now a very big potential to go even further from it's price today. I see gaming project is rising and has a very big demand for this present days my question is should I buy pyr today or is it more risky to buy it now?.

You should always bare in your mind that new tokens with strong developments could take long journey, most specially when it's backed up with good company. Upon checking PYR was now listed at Kucoin which is also a popular exchange, maybe if you continue holding your bought tokens I guess you'll take huge gains by the time it reaches previous ATH.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sand Could hit $50 within next 2 years? on: December 14, 2021, 11:39:36 PM
The Sandbox (SAND) is virtual gaming coin. By using This metaverse coin, players can own, build as well as easily monetize their gaming experiences (said on their Twitter bio). now it is worth $6 and it went at $8.40 as ATH. After axs and mana, sand is most demanding metaverse coin. I plan to hold it long and wait 2 years to cross the estimate value of  $50. So What do you think about The Sandbox (SAND)?

This crypto belongs to NFT projects, and got the most high potential to compete towards the booming market for upcoming years. Long term is very important to rather than giving up small valued coins quickly. If you're earning from play to earn projects, always treasure the coins you've collected because one day you'll be surprise on how it's going to become a hidden gem on your hands.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Australian exchanges collapsed recently, remember to withdraw your bitcoin on: December 14, 2021, 10:56:18 PM
December 07, 2021: Cryptocurrency exchange MyCryptoWallet collapses, appoints liquidators

November 05, 2021: ACX's parent company Blockchain Global collapses owing $15M

Reminder that the bitcoin you hold at exchanges is not yours. Withdraw your bitcoin from exchanges while you still can.

Some people think that their bitcoin is safer at an exchange than in their own custody. As you can see from these recent news, that's not true at all. "Not your keys, not your bitcoin".

Learn how to keep your bitcoin safe in cold storage instead of keeping it in exchanges.

That's what I'm always telling to my close friends and companions, to avoid storing their valuable cryptocurrency assets in exchanges. But most importantly, if you'll able to verify yourselves on your respective exchange accounts so you could appeal to their support group when this worst situation occurs. Keeping at safe storage like hardware wallets, and paper wallet can be the most efficient ways to provide security on our holdings.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA shows potential bullish breakout - if history repeats on: December 14, 2021, 10:29:54 PM
It's been so many times I've seen how unpredictable bitcoin market was, that's why I don't wander if same pattern will continue to exist. Though it seem very challenging to many of us who been following the footsteps which we been continuously taking path with, because all the efforts and patience was really rewarding when perfect time comes for our target. Technical analysis is very important even if there's no perfect projections.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 13, 2021, 11:41:15 PM
I am not ready to sell my bitcoin because I know its price will increase back, I do not mind if it will take time but I know it will increase back. But recently the price of bitcoin has been decreasing, before it was at a resistance of $60000 but now it is at a resistance of $55000. I am thinking bitcoin price may never increase for now back to above $60000. The support is strong at $50000 and bitcoin has not falled to the level at all but is this not the begining of the bearish market?

I wish I was like you having bitcoins at your wallet mate, unfortunately all of them is dumped during the time it was cheap. Meanwhile, I only enjoyed the companion of altcoins specially the small value ones, I know someday it will provide us better future. Let's not rush, greatness of time will come and even if bitcoin support kepts raging over I believed all coins following the journey will also become abundant.
