81  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for [ESCROW] service for an anonymous crypto project on: January 03, 2019, 04:50:17 PM
I'm also interested but currently not feeling well so if you need an escrow very urgently (next day or two), I will pass.

Would also need more info as well.

I may also be interested in helping depending on the nature of the project. I'm a huge proponent of anonymity but want to make sure that the project is/would be legal in my country of residence.

Interested, but would need more info on the project Cheesy

Thanks

Hello DarkStar_, nomadcrypto, minerjones,
There are no hurry. Since we will be anonymous, we want to use the escrow for our project to ensure that the funds of our investors are safe. We want to be very transparent about their investments.

We are setting up our team, platform, project plans which surely will take time. In the mean time we are also looking for escrow as well. We hope by the end of this month we will find our desired number of escrows. Our priority is to pick the most reputed and trusted members from here. We want to trust them and I hope they will also feel proud to work with us.

We have a change for the escrow team. Instead of 2/3 multiSig, we have decided to go with 3/3 multiSig wallet.

Each key will have two owner. These two will share the same interest. We have this thought other day that what if one owner have any issue in real life? So, we figured out to have a backup escrow member for each key. I hope it makes sense. The owner will also have someone else as a backup key and seed owner.

That leaves us to look for 3*2 = 6 * 2 = 12 members for our escrow team.

I understand everyone is looking for more details about the project. This is a forum based marketplace. They are also planning to create a decentralized exchange, decentralized gambling platform and few more integrated applications which will be user friendly like all these centralized exchanges and gambling sites.

I will PM DarkStar_, nomadcrypto, minerjones.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you are interested to work with us.

Thanks

I can help with this. But, i'm going to need a bit more clarification as to what exactly you're going to need me to do.
We are working to set up 3 escrow team for three 2/3 multisig wallet. One key will be held by the admin himself for each wallet. If you are selected then you will be one of the team member and you will hold another key from any of the three wallet.

We are anonymous but we don't want our investors feel insecure with their funds. We are still working on the escrow terms and conditions. We will share the terms with the selected escrow parties first. After review and necessary modification we will make it public.

As an escrow you will be monitoring our progress and release the funds according to the escrow terms as the project progress.

91  Economy / Services / Looking for [ESCROW] service for an anonymous crypto project on: December 26, 2018, 03:15:56 PM
New Bitcoin Inspired Forum Based Marketplace is looking for trusted escrow for their ICO

Please note that I have been assigned to manage BitcoinTalk related deals and Bounty Management for the project.
and I am posting on behalf of the anonymous crypto project.

Since the entire team is anonymous, the project is looking for some trusted escrow who will hold the investment funds for the project.

There will be three 2/3 multisig escrow team. One key will be held by the owner himself for each multisig escrow. Hence we are looking for 3x2 = 6 trusted BitcoinTalk members who will share the keys for each multisig. The escrows will be awarded a percent of the crowd-sale. We are still working on the escrow terms. If you are interested to offer your service then response the thread. First come first serve basis. Of-course we reserve the right to deny any application.

We will create an initial list based on the responses then we will select 6 users initially. Once we will finalise our terms and if any of the selected members drop their name then we will call members from the waiting list.

Good luck and enjoy your boxing day!

Reagrds,

iPwB

- The self moderated topic was created to prevent spamming also to keep the responses in order.

Update1:
We will keep the list private until we finalise the escrow groups

...instead of immediately accusing us of being a potential scam. As we certainly are not!
Hello Johannes,
I am sorry about the misunderstanding you have here... I have not accused the project as a potential scam or anything yet. I am trying to have community feedback to make a decision for myself and potentially for the future inverters in the project.

Disclaimer: This is not an scam accusations yet or never.
93  Other / Meta / Re: Who can create some videos? on: October 18, 2018, 10:54:44 AM
I have not planned for any forum basics yet however I have some video tutorials about Bitcoin wallet and signing a bitcoin address etc.
Courses [Video Tutorial 1.1.2 - Getting Started with Bitcoin Wallet]

I still think going through the process of how to sign a message to retrieve an account would be helpful as it seems to be quite confusing for a beginner, though I understand they're not being recovered right now.
You already have it on my recording.

98  Other / Meta / Use report to moderator feature on: September 30, 2018, 03:27:29 PM
This is a forum and every day people are posting thousands of posts. It is not easy to keep eyes on every post to see which one is good and which one is bad. So whenever you will spot anything unusual then just hit the "report to moderator" on the bottom right corner of the post, explain the reason and hit the submit button. Mods will take care of it.

The forum does not have clear guideline for these kind of activities however this is the closest we have...

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]
.
.
.
1. Such posts like "SELL SELL SELL", "I agree", "+1", "Support", "Watching", "Interesting", "LOL", "SCAM", "LEGIT", "FAKE", other one word posts, posts consisting mostly of swearing, quote pyramids, useless introduction threads, threads about a topic already recently discussed in several other threads.

and notice this as well...
Quote from: 23. When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules.[e]

We should trust the mods.

The reason is to quickly surf quality posts. Simple.
Got that pal.  I never had this thought, thanks. I need to spend more time on the forum.

You questioned and answered on your own! Cheesy

No, I still have not got the answer of this  Tongue

Why it's needed?
I am curious to know the reason for the sorting. I guess this creates two possible metric...

1. Sorting by total number of merits a topic received (including it's replies)
2. Sorting by total number of merits only the topic post have
