81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCE coin] PoW+PoS+MN Stable Profit for EVERYONE!!! on: May 14, 2020, 05:55:22 PM
Some blocks had ~1000 coins reward. So premine is bigger than 73000.
Were you actually mining your own coin? Why mining 1.5 months when you could have made first block with 73000 reward and start POS+MN since that is the main plan...
82  Other / Meta / Re: About the donation to bitcointalk on: May 10, 2020, 04:13:04 PM
The only thing I'd be worried about is finding somewhere that'll accept 2 BTC for a coffee.

Lucky for you I was just talking with my Brazilian and Ethiopian suppliers and will start production and delivery soon. Normally it's 3BTC per bag of eco-bio-awesome coffe, but will make a discount for my early coffe adopters Cheesy
83  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Creating semi-nodes to sustain the network on: May 10, 2020, 09:43:11 AM
Holding full nodes on satellites and/or data centers would be centralizing the network, defeating Bitcoin's purpose.

I know but would be a plausible reality in the future. I agree it would undermine the basics of desentralization but it could happen never the less.
I don't know what tommorow will bring, not to mention 10-20 years from now. But the way I see it we should talk about thse types of scenarios than to be passive about them and be caught by surprise.
84  Other / Meta / Re: REVOLUTION of bitcointalk.org V on: May 10, 2020, 12:13:00 AM
So all this for sig campaigns? WTF?
You're more of a Don Quijote than Vendetta in this case!
Feel a bit sad to find out it's really about feedback and the benjamins.. ffs
85  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Creating semi-nodes to sustain the network on: May 09, 2020, 11:46:13 PM
I see it as an "all or nothing" approach. You either use the pruned version where you see the latest blocks (case in witch you also download and verify every single block from Satoshi's basement to date and keep the prunes or keep a complete ledger for the reasons mentioned above by mocacinno.

Indeed, there is the possibility that nodes will be held in the future only in data centers and the network would rely mostly on big data companies. Who knows ?
Maybe they will launch 1000 blockstream satellites, maybe Elon installs a node on his 40.000 satellites, maybe martians come with their evolved tech and take control of all our crypto Smiley)) but trusting an almost full node somehow does not resonate well. Not much difference between that and blockchain.com ... still need trust Smiley

Interesting idea tho
86  Other / Meta / Re: REVOLUTION of bitcointalk.org on: May 09, 2020, 11:32:27 PM
people are funky about adding feedback and trustlist

I would assume this could change with more trolls (not talking about you)
Think about this: when is it more likely that an average Joe goes online and leaves a feedback about a product, service, person etc ? When they were screwed, when they were disappointed, when they can't stand/hate someone.
So feedback is mostly left due to a bad circumstance. And I do believe this applies to a grand majority in general, not only in this forum.
Maybe we need to hate each other more  Cheesy (just joking)

When you take the system from them, it will have no effect

In general you are right here. Use their weapons and you level the play field.

Now about the reason, motive, if you are right or not I don't have enough info to come to a final decision of my own (ignorance is bliss). One thing I can say for sure, you definitely are a weird character  Tongue
87  Other / Meta / Re: REVOLUTION of bitcointalk.org on: May 09, 2020, 11:05:38 PM
formula of change
profile> trust> trust settings> add the nick> update
I'm not saying "add me absolutely", add someone

Well you did say that, or at least this is what one makes of this

Add me to your trust list and I'll add you
Give me feedback and I'll give you

You may have pulled this stunt to create some awareness about trust, inclusions, exclusions, DT etc but most of the users that have not altered their trust settings either don't care or don't know anything about it. And would guesstimate around 95% (that would be 140.000 out of 2.804.711 and probably would be optimistic)

If indeed that is what you were trying to do you had a hell of an execution  Cheesy next time think a bit more before going rambo style with your head first.
I can't believe this boils down to a/some feedback left on your account. Sorry guys but, at least imo, he doesn't look that dumb.

I might do a trade with you but regarding judgement might look trice before jumping to any conclusions.
And one more thing V... “Anarchy means without leaders, not without order." – V for Vendetta.
88  Other / Meta / Re: REVOLUTION of bitcointalk.org on: May 09, 2020, 07:36:58 PM
Add me to your trust list and I'll add you
Give me feedback and I'll give you
You may get nuked because of those two sentences.

This is more cringe than what ever OP said  Shocked

Well, I'm more shocked that an innovative bioresearcher is even concerned about his forum rank Grin

Bioresearchers have to eat also  Tongue
90  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: May 06, 2020, 07:22:50 AM
Why has my status changed from Jumionr member to newbie?

You need 1 merit to be Jr Member. You did not receive any so far. Login on wrong alt?  Cheesy
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin using this site fot a newbie on: May 05, 2020, 10:36:58 PM
I think he's another lost soul looking for a pay-per-post "site" like cryptotalk and ended here by mistake.
It's the second one I see today. Can't be a coincidence...
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Machine Learning (Keras LSTM and K-Clustering) to predict Bitcon Price on: May 05, 2020, 10:15:01 PM
The idea sounds awesome and wish you all the best!

Thing is this project would have a very hard start. At first yes, you need to calculate all sorts of variables, take into account news and asses if they may be true or fake, use 2 quantum computers to grind the numbers (exaggerating to make a point) but would really work for 1 user. And would be a hell of a project if it achieved 75% accuracy or somewhere in that ballpark.

But once the project would reach a critical number of users the "Bitcoin Wall Observer AI" would just turn into a HYIPE IMO.
If the AI says BTC will increase in price the users will start buying and price would actually increase. If the AI says BTC will go down 20% users will sell and it will decrease in price (how close to the speculated 20% is unknown but users will still think it works). This is why I would say it could be ground breaking if it's used by a handful of users and could just as well be done in notepad(not even ++) at a certain point.

Wish you all the best and I'll be throwing a look at future development info

P.S thanks for the article @hatshepsut93 , very interesting read Smiley

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diamond Backed Stablecoin on: May 05, 2020, 04:43:19 PM
Op, I actually have a good idea.
Try to make a non fungible asset like cryptokitties.
And each diamond piece would ACTUALLY have it's own value.
Look into it as it seems the only way to keep the "diamond" theme

GL

Edit:
How will it be a good looking project to an investor if the project is still in a development phase. .

He is in pre-development phase. Cut him some slack...
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diamond Backed Stablecoin on: May 05, 2020, 04:34:22 PM
Diamonds eh? I've heard parrots and Pig before but diamonds, maybe some kind of innovations that will make the crypto industries evolve into something new.

Stable coin backed by pigs in a farm? You're trolling or it's for real? Smiley))
OP... this guy's idea makes more sense Smiley)

Stable refers to the price of Diamond here, not necessarily as the same of stable coin of USD.
I think they will run ICO/IEO or any other fund raising campaign from which a certain fund will be used to get the diamond which will be reserved for the coin anytime to be liquidated. However, I don't think it's as easy as people may think. Most of the GOLD stablecoin claimerd barely had such amount of GOLD backed in reality. Such a project got raid a year ago if I'm correct.

There is no such thing as a "general price" for diamonds. Even uncut ones...
https://www.diamondregistry.com/5-carat-diamond-price/

Might as well say backed by cars. What type of cars? Cheap cars...
WTF are we talking about...
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diamond Backed Stablecoin on: May 04, 2020, 05:48:54 PM
Diamonds are "measured" in CARATS first of all. Usually 1 gram is equivalent to 5 carats. And a 5 carat diamond can be worth between $100 - $100k depending on color, quality, clarity etc.
I really don't see how you can call this "STABLE".
Talking about "backed by diamonds" ... how many grams do you have to back your coin?  Roll Eyes
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Calling the Bitcoin community to help battle COVID-19 on: May 03, 2020, 08:01:51 PM
I see...
Iasenko is just behind you but halfway with the credits. I checked the stats to see who's active and I noticed some persons join teams after team, they participated in over 20 teams. I wonder what's the reason behind it. Are they trying to play Coinjoin? Cheesy

We're 5 persons left.

It's like in poker. Some days you just fold, others you are all-in Smiley)
Or just some very undecided fellows folding where the wind takes them.
97  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Should I make an isolation box for my phone? on: May 03, 2020, 05:41:14 PM
Found a pretty cool tutorial: https://www.slashgear.com/true-phone-security-means-living-without-apps-gps-or-internet-13557868/amp/

Kind of extreme imo but if you were considering led box, Faraday inclosures etc it might not be that far off
98  Other / Meta / Re: Trust flags on: May 03, 2020, 04:32:19 PM
The board that is actually "used" to trade goods (buying and selling) does show trust ratings; the other "Trading" board could be closer to Economics/Speculation than to an actual marketplace.

The speculation section on the main board does not display trust ratings either. Not sure what to say if it's ok or not but does look consistent at least :p
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Calling the Bitcoin community to help battle COVID-19 on: May 03, 2020, 04:07:06 PM
At the same time, I see @Chlotide is now in the top 3 while she joined the team after me Shocked @Chlotide, what machine are you using?

I have a cheap old relic of a gpu so most of the heavy lifting is done by my cpu, intel 9600k Smiley

Recently installed the new Ubuntu release as dual boot and have not installed f@h on linux yet. Will do that in the next few days. Did iasenko catch up? :p
100  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Want free bitcoins now? Post your wallet address here/Zero investment required on: May 03, 2020, 03:49:17 PM
This guy had an identical thread about a month ago where I also tried my luck. It was eventually deleted by mods I assume.
First few users said that they received smth. Maybe his alts and just trolling around, can't say for sure.

Either just a big trol or gathering data.
