81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 29, 2019, 03:23:56 PM
With the amount of money I have spent whiles gambling and haven't won any major jackpot,  I am not going to be donating anything to any charitable cause unless I have made a huge profits and to my mind most people view money from gambling as dirty so I doubt any charity will be thrilled to have them.
lol even the church are accepting money as donation from gambling company and from lottery profit from some government so how come that charitable institutions will be thrilled to have them?
This is something new where i dont see any reason for them to refuse out on where those money came from as long its being donated by somebody
then it wont matter on what are the sources of those funds and the thing they do matter the most is on how they would use those funds given.
Helping out the needy does really give out some good feeling and it doesnt really need fro you to win big for you to be able to donate because any small amounts
would do.

Most people are not considering gambling money as dirty, unless it is not sanctioned by government laws. People from the caves can call it dirty money whatever they like. And when donating money you don't have to tell them that it came from gambling. Please make some sense.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 29, 2019, 02:28:16 PM
That's right it's Jack Ma, if it's true Pacquiao and Mayweather will fight again this will be an interesting spectacle all over the world, sponsored by Jack Ma from behind and Mayweather with abundant wealth, and many who will bet on this boxing, I'm sure,
But is there any response about Pacquiao's post on Twitter or what was Mayweather's response?
Mayweather is not actively responding on Pacman's tweet about him, and that is good.
If Mayweather loves the purse, we might read some announcement that the fight will push true and thanks to Jack Ma.
Remember also that Jack Ma is a successful businessman, he doesn't just spend money without having a return, and we should watch out for that.

As much as Floyd is a twitter and instagram junkie, there's no official reply from him yet. But he continue to flaunt us with his wealth, cars, jewelries, expensive vacations.

Was surprised to see Jack Ma's involvement though, never seen him as a boxing fan, but I guess there's a lot of money to be made in a rematch that's why he is more willing to spend his money to get more money, typical business, but there's nothing wrong about it. As long as we can see the eventual rematch then why not?
Maybe he can also get Manny as an endorser of his business, we know how popular money is in different region of the world and he is a good attitude that any business would not hesitate to take him to endorse their product, I'm seen Manny being an endorser of shopee which is also a popular online store so it's not impossible to endorse Jack Ma's business.

So meaning, it's going to be a win-win situation for Jack Ma here. Yeah, saw that adds too, very funny indeed but it is still Manny and he has a lot of following in the Philippines. So we may conclude that the ball is on Mayweather side, let's see how he is going to respond from this.

Maybe he is just taking his sweet time to hype the fight more and wait for the proper time to release an official statement. And then they can talk and sit down and see how big the money is going to be in the table here.

If there is Jack Ma's friendship in this boxing, I'm sure this boxing match will soon be in public, Jack Ma is the most popular person in the world, surely they have already said so, the match will start soon, Jack Ma and Manny means that this boxing will be Manny Pacquiao won.

You guys are being hyped or what? You think Mayweather is not smart? Mayweather cannot right and read well but he is a genius in his own ways. Mayweather will never fight Pacquiao without a single or even more tune ups. Mayweather is too inactive and he knows it more than anyone. Mayweather is undefeated because he won't let anyone take advantage of him. The difference in activity alone reflects that this fight will not happen in 2020. The more time Mayweather is retired, the lesser chances of this rematch to happen.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Latest Rise Was Manipulated? on: October 29, 2019, 02:10:31 PM
I don't think the latest bitcoin rise is manipulated. The Chinese leader was a big part of the rise because he is influential. Chinese institutions and rich people bought bitcoin after hearing the importance of blockchain in the future. Other foreign institutions and whales followed the ride for quick gains reason why there is a present dip. There is no manipulation here, this is normal happenings just like how Trump and other influential personalities statements affects certain commodities and currencies.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 26, 2019, 08:22:01 AM
Lack of knowledge about the project is a problem for those who are cheated and most of them are beginners, and they are easily tempted and easily believe in fraud project fraud that promises huge profits without conducting a more detailed investigation.

Even educated people can easily get scammed when it comes to money. Greediness reign on the heart of many human beings. The poor and the middle class are the main victims. Their lack of financial security is what keep them blind when offered a high return investment. And they will only come into realizations after losing their hard earned money.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens If China Bans Bitcoin Mining? on: October 26, 2019, 08:10:52 AM
This is a very mixed decision to ban mining in China, since China is one of the leading countries in the development of this direction in the crypto industry.

China is not totally against the crypto industry. China just wanted to regulate or let's say take control as deep as possible. It will be impossible for the Chinese government as they are decentralized. I won't be surprised if China will create their own crypto version in the future as there are many big cities that are turning into digital payments.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 26, 2019, 07:43:24 AM
And I'm not at all disappointed in Ethereum. On the contrary, I am very positive about this blockchain. This has already revealed its potential, and there is room for further development. I look forward to the upcoming hard forks and the transition to Ethereum 2.0!

Too many companies and people are trusting Ethereum. A part of me was disappointed with Vitalik's unnecessary slightly remarks on Ethereum but the kid is an honest guy. Ethereum is second to bitcoin and will remain there for long if not overtaking the latter. Ethereum's potential is very promising. Let us just give time for its development while the world is slowly embracing blockchain and its technology brings.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: October 26, 2019, 07:15:45 AM
People who forget about their past things will not enjoy the present movement, we should always remember. I tried to remember my bad things happened when I lost my money through gambling, even after winning huge amounts I will stay calm and think about my past negative activities happened to me.

If you are using extra money in gambling then it is not that important to count all your losses. Not forgetting your losses means you gamble above your means. You are talking the opposite. People who forget their losses in the past are the ones to enjoy when they win. If you cannot find simple happiness in winning then you should stop gambling and move on with your past losses.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 26, 2019, 06:19:32 AM
Right now the market situation is not so much to make any predictions but can do some experiment at our own risk by investing into altcoin.

But if we have to try something different by investing into a new altcoin which has caliber to perform well rather than investing on a reputed altcoins like Ethereum.  Kindly suggest which would be the best altcoin to invest which is under $1.

Do not invest in a single altcoin only. Invest 3 to 5 or even more if you can manage to check their updates regularly. If you don't have ETH and BTC then they are worth to be included. LTC, Stratis and Enjin are also worth to take a look.

Do not focus on a coin's price. Don't be deceived. The real price of a coin is its total market capitalization. There are too many cheap coins but their marketcap is already too high, examples are Ripple, IOTA, Cardano and Stellar. I am not against these coins, I just explained that they are cheap per coin/token but they are actually in billions of dollars worth.

89  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETBIT.COM Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!! on: October 26, 2019, 05:51:59 AM
Hello Guys.

We do apologize to you simpa1337. Please understand we have been a target to some utterly brilliant exploits over the years. Everything to hijacking user sessions, 'man in the middle' attacks, etc.

Again, I am very sorry simpa1337 for putting you through this. You did win a significant amount, and we are happy that you did. Let's be honest, we are not too happy, but it's polite to say it. Better said that we are agreeable you won so much. It is beyond our control that we can not offer this game any further.

I would like to mention that before we turned off the ability to withdraw, simpa1337 already successfully withdrew about 5X his original deposit. The decision to turn off the ability to withdraw was the ever-increasing payouts through time and more gameplay. This was statistically divergent the longer he played. That's when we suspected something and had to take action.

Still no word back from the software provider. It makes our admin feel that we are not important to them, which seems to be true. It seems that the word about Chiliquest has gotten out there and we've had a significant increase in players who are winning a lot of funds with Chili Quest. We no longer suspect any malfeasance from simpa1337. It's no coincidence that other players having payout similar to simpa1337's.

As a result, we have removed the game from the list of available games. We believe there must be something wrong. It's not possible that we can leave that game available any longer. On average it's been a 5-50X deposit to withdraw ratio over extended periods of game-play.

We've checked everything on our end. We turned over every 0 and 1. We could not find any issues on our end. I can't help but wonder if the silence of the software provider means anything.

So, did simpa1337 happened to withdrew all his winnings? Or you turned off his ability to withdraw and reported a possible rigged game to software provider. But after not receiving developments on your report, you simply removed the game and also denied simpa1337's frozen winnings as withdrawable?
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem gamblers what can we do to help them help theirselves? on: October 26, 2019, 05:35:07 AM
And you think your moderated thread can help them? Compulsive gamblers have mental disorders already. Their families, relatives and friends should help them to get therapies and medications. This is not an easy illness and needs real help.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: October 26, 2019, 05:05:54 AM
Although there are currently many cryptocurrency users, but if all countries forbid their people to use crypto, it is very possible that crypto will really become zero. Because no one wants to invest in illegal products. But considering that crypto has progressed so far, I think it is very difficult to stoped. Even some news about crypto hacking doesn't make investor's interest decrease at all.
crypto was not illegal product.government not decided yet about legalization .only few countries issue warning about cryptocurrencies risk.cryptocurrency investors and community smoothly growth day by day.and mostly they want to speculate some of money to earn huge profits as their wish.

If all countries will forbid its citizens to use crypto currencies, there is still no chance that their value goes down to zero. Because decentralized crypt currencies cannot be stopped, it's like the dark web, no one is in complete control. Countries have higher chance of stopping drug trades than stopping decentralized crypto currencies. Internet can be restricted but VPN was invented. Now decentralized VPN are in the eyes of some developers.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 25, 2019, 01:38:43 PM
I want to receive my gift in digital form. Cash is still important but the world is turning more digital especially in the cities and I live in a big city where digital cash is widely used. Digital is the future. Crypto currency is the future.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who Are Your Favorite Actors: Name 3 Of Your Favorites! on: October 24, 2019, 03:19:44 PM
My favorite actors are action movie stars. I like action movies because it awakens me. Boring movies kill me. Sometimes I fell asleep with romantic movies, even more on drama.

My 3 favorite actors are:
1. Jason Statham - the guy is known for its too many action movies.
2. Ewan McGregor - the man got some mysterious movies. movies that aren't good at catching moviegoers attention but are actually very very good movies
3. Donnie Yen - maybe the king of action movies in asia? action movies with deep stories.

94  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: October 24, 2019, 02:50:05 PM
I don't believe that banks can be replaced. But banks in the future will adopt blockchain technology and implement it into their systems. Some banks will create their own blockchains and some will use finish blockchain products depending on what benefits them most. Banks are too powerful and influential in this world to be replaced. Not that easy. Some of them may fall but there will be another ones that will arise and will continue to work with their systems.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2019, 02:40:53 PM
Main Card (ESPN)
Welterweight:  Demian Maia vs Ben Askren

This two are great with their submissions Both Demian Maia And Ben Askren, In my opinion, both really knows what are they doing, and the recent defeat of Askren from Jorge Masvidal really shook him with the flying knee, I guess this is just a miscalculation on Ben Askren's part, I think he's got good records until Masvidal put a red mark on it But If we look both men Ben Askren can sure wrestle against Demian Maia, I guess Askren's strength can sure be seen here, but let's just see what happened between both fighters that had the same caliber of technique.

I think I will bet on Askren for this one.
Ben Askren has landed 0 significant trikes through 2 UFC fights
Demian Maia has landed 3 significant strikes in his last 2 UFC fights
This will be a boring wrestling fight and I see Maia decision

That Askren first lost, was he thinking of a touch gloves? And was instead met with a flying knee? Cheesy

These two wrestlers are going to show a boring main event. Unless Maia realizes Askren's wrestling pedigree. Maia should try to box and kick in circles. Maybe Askren after suffering that knockout loss will be hesitant on risking take down attempts.

My bet is also on Askren. He will beat Maia in a wrestling match.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 24, 2019, 01:34:30 PM
I'm a person who would like to do some work for Bitcoin, so I monitor freelancing sites occasionally, and at this time I feel like the freelance market in Bitcoin is nearly dead. The Services board is 99% listings of services rather than people who are looking to buy some; XBTfreelancer is empty or has 1-2 projects most of the time; cryptogrind has mostly just ridiculously underpaid projects or again service announcements (shouldn't they be banned there?), and there's also not much available projects overall; workingforbitcoins has very little traffic, just a few projects per month.

It was theorized that Bitcoin will help alleviate poverty by allowing people to work online without any restrictions, but on practice this just isn't happening. In your opinion, what is the reason for this?

I do remember some of those freelancing sites before. XBTfreelancer is the most popular as they were running an advertisement or a signature campaign here in btalk. Before there were also many ICO that focused on freelancing and if I am not mistaken, they're all gone.

Bitcoin can only be an instrument for people work online free from restrictions but it can never provide guarantees. There are less crypto projects compared to the last years because of the market bear trend and there are already too many projects created with the same goals.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 24, 2019, 12:58:04 PM
Another entertaining match today (Wolves 127 - Nets 126). A typical performance by Irving carrying his team with a 50 point performance against KAT and Wiggins team but that last shot that he took though  Grin

By the way, Danny Green surpassed Jabbar's record yesterday for most points made by a Laker in a NBA debut (Green - 28, Jabbar - 27).

No matter how many how many points a player puts up, if it ends up lossing, then it doesn't matter anymore. Like Irving putting up 50points in his debut with the nets means how deadly of a caliber player he is. If only Durant was healthy, they could've won the game though.
I think KD won't have a chance to play this season. he's still in the recovery stage, right? so maybe he will come back next season.
Irving has a good game for Nets. His debut by breaking records is a good start for him and teams

Irving has the capability to maintain that record and I think this was his best factor to become one of the strong pillar of the team. On side of Kevin Durant, he put much effort for the team from their previous games which always considered their core strength in meeting their every goals. His recovery stage, somehow crack down one of the best asset for them but its not yet done because this is now time to unleash their strongest line up of the game.

If Brooklyn defense improves as the season goes then they will be a strong top 4 in the East. Kyrie will be back as a scoring machine especially Durant is yet to return. They will become more dangerous once Kevin Durant returns late season or in the playoffs. Milwaukee, Philly and the other teams will be avoiding  a Brooklyn match up like a plague once an announcement telling KD returns in the playoffs.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens If China Bans Bitcoin Mining? on: October 24, 2019, 10:10:04 AM
Banning bitcoin in China would be a big blow to the entire network as this is likely to slow down transactions as the OP rightly said. However i think Bitmain and other mining farms need to relocate to outskirts of cities and towns instead of being within the community if that's the situation at the moment. Because the mining of bitcoin really causes noise pollution and i think relocating to the outskirts of towns would be a good resolution. Using sound proof doors is likely going to increase the heat within the the farm and using cooling systems can also increase their cost of electricity consumption.
Also, i think mining farms which still use coal to mine should be made to stop as this also pollutes the environment.

Bitcoin mining is already banned in China and nothing has changed up to now? In social media you can see some Chinese saying they are still mining but secretly and mostly in the outskirts. I haven't heard Bitmain mining lately but I doubt they stopped mining. So it is either they continue mining in the outskirts or relocated to another country.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 24, 2019, 06:39:30 AM
Cigar is already proven by science to be hazardous, not just for the smokers itself but it is even more harmful secondhand smoke. This indicates the greediness and corrupt in nature of humans.

Gambling can only become bad when it is excessive and is out of the control. There are many positive reasons why people gamble. It is entertaining, it can remove stress as it relaxes your mind free from work and other duties. And not all gamblers lose money, some others are earning.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: October 24, 2019, 05:57:38 AM
When bitcoin started to move again this year, I cannot deny that I did expect something bigger to happen like breaking the previous ATH. But another side of me thinks that it might be a bit impossible to make another record this year, not that fast this time. I am still happy with the current price as it is still many times bigger than last year.

The current price has nothing to be compared from the last breakdown, because it never encountered a sudden bounce or spike after 2018's fall. More people expected wide visionary, but still didn't conform to the reality of actual market situation lately. As of now let's start over a discipline in order to make our asset productive.

And you think the late 2017 spike conforms with reality and the current market situation that time? You think $3,000sh breaking $20,000 this year is too far from being realistic? Do you realized that January 2017 bitcoin price was at $800 and it was able to reach over $19,000?

The reality is that crypto currencies are still too volatile because of its low market capitalization. Bitcoin at hundreds of billions in dollars is still light. It needs to reach a trillion dollars to stabilize its price.
This is sad to hear that most people are expecting that we will create history every year, remember crypto is very volatile that we don't know what will happen as this can be manipulated by wealthy people or those who are called 'whale' so, don't expect too much and be very careful with every decision that you are making.
It is even more sad when your words are implying the high volatility of crypto and how it can be manipulated by whales. Aren't those words meant that bitcoin can pump and break records in months, and it can also dump and break support levels in short period of time.
