Nope, all go no show. Cheesy

Just be glad all my other dual Xeon boxes are mining other coins......at least for now. Wink

Trying pool mining now.

./cpuminer -a yescryptr16 -t 32 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u Yxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -p c=YTN

I get about %50 invalid shares if I use all 32 threads but if I use 30 threads it drops to %25  Huh

The fewer threads the lower the invalid shares but lower hash rates.

Trying only 16 threads fo a while.

EDIT:  I forgot I was already mining Sumokoin on all 32 threads. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO  Cheesy

Fired up 32 threads again to see what happen now.
You could try disabling Hyperthreading in the BIOS and run with 16 "full" threads. Better than losing so many invalid shares or running at half power imo.
LOL indeed.

Finally got my Odroid XU3 lite mining by compiling yentend, wasn't able to compile cpuminer-opt. Is the source of minerd available somewhere?
Mining on 7 of 8 cores at 93°C, Hashrate reports vary wildly: most often it's around 63 but rarely it's reported as 0 or up to 140, probably some kind of lag. Not too bad for an ARM CPU (Exynos 5422), OS is Debian Wheezy. My properly cooled and slightly overclocked FX 8320E does 650 hashes per second btw.

Had to configure with --ignore-incompatible-bdb and remove a "-msse41" from yescrypt.h in src/hash/yescrypt. More could be possible with some ARM optimization and compile option tuning, my only CXXFLAG was O3.

Too bad the hashrate almost doubled today.  Shocked

The "virus" is obviously a false positive recognizing the miner.
So the complete premine will be given away? If so, this could become a great coin indeed. But the OP could be nicer.  Wink
And I don't like that the airdrop will be random, a proportional amount based on the total number of wallets would give more confidence that there are no shenanigans happening.
Also stuck at 579 btw.

Interesting coin and algo, solo mining with my 8320E.
Tomorrow I will report the hashrate of my Odroid XU3, seems like a good fit. Suggestion for dev: A pool list in the OP would be nice. Also an Android miner could be really useful.  Wink

For Cryptonote coins these two guides are very useful:
https://cryptonotestarter.org/
http://forknote.net/guides/starting-seed-node/

I don't think you need a teacher just to clone a coin, it's fairly easy if you're willing to learn and have found good learning materials. Also please try to add some innovative things or just unusual specs before releasing it. We have too many copypastes and not enough "freak coins". Unusual coins also attract a larger crowd than the 2000th Scrypt coin with standard parameters.

Edit: Having a good teacher can be very beneficial however, so if someone offered this service, he'd probably get a ton of money.
88  Other / Meta / Re: Posts quality, WTF!? on: September 13, 2017, 06:46:03 PM
Specifically the altcoin section has become a total shitshow due to spammers and scammers.

The moderation on BCT has always been very lax regarding some things like scams for good reasons (time), but I think the stricter enforcement of the unofficial official rules would be very useful. It's funny that those are hidden away in the Meta section instead of being advertised with a big red button on the top of every page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
edit: Well they are on the top of every altcoin forum (oops), the point about the enforcements of those rules stands though. I guess it comes down to number of moderators, the altcoin section having only one strikes me as odd as well (although he has always reacted to my few reports).

So make use of the "Report to moderator" button besides every post, if enough people did that, mods would perhaps be so annoyed by the amount of reports that they finally did something. One could even advertize that idea with a signature or avatar campaign. BCT riot! Grin

BTW: I wonder how many bots are posting on this forum.

If those guides aren't good enough for you I can set up both things or help you out, however 25$ would be too little for that task.  Tongue
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitChunks (BCK) on: September 13, 2017, 03:05:58 AM
Note to any aspiring coin cloner: If you choose a GPU/CPU-minable algo, you'll attract a MUCH larger crowd than when you go with an ASIC-minable algo. All this SHA256 and Scrypt bullshit just reeks of coin generators. I can't believe people are still doing this.
Launched on 6th September? Get rekt, nice ninja launch. Roll Eyes
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Iridium ⚡LAUNCH⚡ The Coin For Everyone. on: September 13, 2017, 12:25:26 AM
I doubt OP even has access to the Github or he would have uploaded the sourcecode by now. He probably got scammed by a coin creation service and has no idea how git even works. Prove me wrong OP.  Tongue

Lesson: Don't mine a coin just because it is new. Look for innovation instead of fancy websites and android wallets (easy to clone from existing coins).
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTZ] BitcoinZ on: September 13, 2017, 12:07:34 AM
"Fair" launch without Windows wallet....good job dev Cool
ur such n00b. compile it.
Launching a coin without a compiled Windows wallet is a red flag and you know it. While Linux is great, the majority of users use Windows, locking them out is akin to a ninja launch. While this has worked for a few coins in the past, most of those were innovative and not simple clonecoins like this one.

Sorry OP, you fucked this up. No seednodes, no Windows wallet, not even bounties from the massive ninja-mine.  Tongue
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Project ANTI-SCAM-ICO (DES) on: September 12, 2017, 11:37:26 PM
if you open escrow service
youre project ico service, the first not about say create coin and ico selling , escrow not need money
but the first you must develop trust and reputation
I disagree. Buying high-rank Bitcointalk accounts is easy and cheap compared to the profits that can be made by scamming gullible investors. So decentralized ICO escrow is a much needed service and I'm glad such a project is finally on the way.
It also has the potential to bring ICOs much closer to traditional stock companies, i.e. who holds more than 51% is able to decide where the company is going. This might become a gamechanger. Good luck OP.

Edit: I also like the well written OP, compare that to the nay-sayers' writing skills.  Grin
94  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Moneypot X Signature Campaign (10 Day Blitz) on: September 12, 2017, 10:25:18 PM
As been said above, you have to chose one.
Token or BTC.
Actually, this signature campaign pays out half in BTC, half in MPX as explained in the OP. There is another campaign in the Altcoin services section that only pays out MPX. Of course you can only participate in one of the two campaigns.
Pay for 10 Day Period (Half in Bitcoin end of campaign, Half in MPX post-ICO)

For higher Payrates, Please visit the Altcoin Giveaway Sig Thread

This is pretty funny, ETH must die!  Grin
why?
ETH dying wouldn't help the bitcoin chain. imho.
It would help this forum section and the altcoin economy.  Tongue
I really hate the long-lasting trend of ICOs, and while ETH was not the first one, it was the most successful one and serves as motivation and tool for hundreds of scammers trying to make a shitton of money of gullible people.

Sourcecode can apparently be found here:
https://github.com/iridiumcash/Iridium/blob/4090565ce48e01fed5aa72ae113eb15b0fe10c05/iridiumcoin%20SourceCode%20Final%20(1).rar
and/or here:
https://github.com/iridiumcash/Iridium/blob/ca164738a9e1fb0295aa728d6427b1694e979ee7/iridiumcoin%20SourceCode%20Final%20(1).rar

Why they would delete the file from their github is beyond me, not to mention the very untraditional approach of having the sourcecode in a rar-file instead of directly on github. Also it's funny how OP won't address any of the issues.
Yep I'm out.

im out too.. BS Coin

Why is it weird to have a file on .rar? There are instances you can compress your file lie sending over to another dev to collaborate in the project!!  The source code is on GitHub https://github.com/iridiumcash/Iridium/tree/master/iridium Please Review it. I am not trying to hide anything here, Else i would've created a new GitHub account to upload the code. I am trying to answer everyones questions and address all concerns about the project.

But thanks for your feedback.

Best
All
Dude, there is no src folder on your github, so nobody can compile your coin. The rar file is in old commits I had to seek out, you deleted it since.
Using a rar file is stupid, have you ever followed a compiling guide for Linux? It always begins with
Code:
git clone
.
No exchange will list your coin without public sourcecode on github.
100  Other / Meta / Re: How to combat the surge in scam ICOs on: September 06, 2017, 01:11:04 AM
Just ban ICOs. The huge majority are scams and hurt the bitcoin and altcoin economy, the little legitimate rest would be successful even without Bitcointalk.
