It’s also pertinent to note that Trump won’t win the elections easily, and in my personal opinion Biden has a good chance of winning it if the situation doesn’t improve in America soon.
At the opposite I think Trump will win this time easily. Coronavirus choas will not change the mind of MAGA fans since they are not thinking at all, most of them at least, they just follow their leader like sheep? no offense just a metaphor  Undecided
At the opposite, fragile Biden is weak, saying nonsense, can't stand a second face to face to Trump's speech, in addition to accusations from here and there that will pop up, he will be doomed.
It is unfortunate to see an impeached and "all bad descriptions here" person being elected again just because his rivals cannot choose a reasonable person to face him. Lucky Trump  Undecided

'Impeached' because the Democrats wanted to lol. They are all a bunch of clowns trying to 'defeat' Trump at all costs instead of actually helping the United States.

Nope, Trump is more than enough to help USA. He already destroyed its reputation since it is now his personal commy-like farm.

Goddamn Coronavirus, it revealed so many no-brainers but the funny part is when you see these low IQ person changing their minds when the virus screw them, their relatives or their community. I don't know why they changed their mind really, isn't it a HOAX after all? Too bad. Now it is antivax time to troll? I blame vaccine for real for letting those people pass the herd immunity "test" for so long time.

By the way It is harassing to press "Show/Hide" every time you want to laugh about trolls trolling (hopefully) in bitcointalk, because if it turns that they are meaning their bullshit then Shocked

are you really suffering from amnesia... or are you just an idiot with no braincells to learn or remember things. just to troll your cultish beliefs without remembering your getting debunked every time
I think i missed something funny here. If any member can refer me to his cult's topic(s), if it exists, it would be great, i am really pissed and bored today. I hope it isn't the topic about flat mars, moon, sun, earth, mountain or whatever things, because I don't visit it. 2 low IQ 2 read!

84  Other / Meta / Re: All pranks that was made by theymos in every April Fools Day come. on: April 02, 2020, 02:43:06 PM
Yeah, I like this topic of yours, but I don't like the way most people on this forum deal with the April Fools joke  Roll Eyes The purpose of April Fool's Day is to tease people, but unfortunately, it doesn't last a long time  Roll Eyes Less than half a day after theymos' plan was implemented, most of them were was exposed. I do not like it  Undecided Many users make topics and posts just to announce that joke, the elation is lost. A joke is no longer a joke when it cannot deceive others  Sad I like the feeling that users are worried about what they encounter as I have encountered, it should not be exposed, at least to the end of the day.

So if possible, I suggest not having any topics to expose their plans in the future  Cheesy Although this is not prohibited

Many people didn't get it, some members created topics in meta yes meta! asking about random characters when the first topic was April Fools!
April Fool's in bitcointalk was always entertaining, i like 2018 one myself, good old days Cool
85  Other / Meta / Re: [April Fools] This better not be what I think it is... on: April 02, 2020, 02:34:17 PM
Boys, this topic is supposed to be an entertaining one, giving positive vibes...Can't you just put your personal problems apart for one time Undecided
86  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: March 31, 2020, 03:27:51 PM
That 40% Biden number is pretty shocking, since he's the presumptive Democratic nominee. I wonder if the DNC will actually change the rules at this point in order to pick someone else. It's a wild idea, though they can do it.
There is rumors or complaints? about harassment against him which could affect his reputation although it doesn't affect the megalomaniac previously.
Coronavirus in USA is a disaster, 10k deaths in the upcoming days and maybe 5 times that number before the end of April? If the gov did what it wants without pressure then people will celebrate for having only 1k a day.
Economy will recover whatever the impact of coronavirus is, although it will recover fast after confinement. The problem is the number of people in critical condition and who can't work, letting the virus spread freely will increase their number considerably, will reduce the number of employees and customers, will push other countries to isolate USA passengers or even goods once they get ride of the virus...
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: March 31, 2020, 02:57:48 PM
It lasts as long as there is internet to support it.
If the future world government decides to close the internet for a week, then bitcoin go to zero.
So "forever" is a bit relative here.
Closing internet for few hours could crash markets and if it goes for few days, many big companies will require finance support from governments to keep working. This is just an exemple, i can't imagine the rest so bitcoin at worst could crash but once the system is online everything will return to normal.
Bitcoin is meant to be used and to last unless we will be in an imaginary communist cashless society
88  Other / Politics & Society / Covid-19 in bitcointalk.org? on: March 21, 2020, 02:41:44 PM
Hey, one question popped in my head (see above) in the current situation where the world is facing this devastating epidemics, in which most countries proved that their health system is not well prepared to face it, but also showed us how egoist and selfish we are.
I don't know anyone infected around me or anyone escaped from quarantine but we know that hundreds aren't respecting it even those who returned back from Italy for example to this day and thanks for them we had dozens of cases.
Food and other important things could be found but hardly, not because it is lacking but because brave humans are taking it in mass. Once spaghetti for example is put in the roofs, everyone grab an amount of a month or so leaving others without, so those pissed other guys once they find it in front they will grab what is needed for 1 month and a half and so on  Undecided
Let's share our experience, especially if your country is on lockdown  Cry

Trump's legacy...
Dear theymos, is this "expression" has a meaning? After reading several posts i believe that i wasted my time on reddit, the real fun is here!
Uncle Bernie seems to be the best choice imo, but USA citizens don't prefer to change the way they are living. It is unfortunate.
90  Other / Off-topic / Re: Antivirus/Passwords/security on: March 03, 2020, 12:20:56 AM
I don't fully trust any anti-virus software since I believe all of it are collecting data in a way or another to secret agencies or other companies.
If i try to forget this then Kaspersky seems to be the best with a stable performance against viral activity for many years.
There is ESET, Bitdefender, Norton, F-secure also that I tried and i wasn't very satisfied.
Best security remains to visit legit website, don't visit and download anything from suspicious or random sites, don't plug anything to your computer or phone which isn't yours or at least without analysing it first...

92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays Stands by $4K Bitcoin Price Pre-Halving Prediction on: February 11, 2020, 11:46:00 AM
someone calling for $4k is not "being bearish" it is being stupid. a 60% market crash is not just going to happen out of nowhere when the market is already on the rise in a bull run. something terrible has to happen in order to be able to change the trend in the exact opposite direction and push the price down this low.
expecting $4k right now is like expecting $50k in early 2018 when price was falling from $20k, and is just as stupid.

A drop of the bitcoin price will happens likely after each rise, kind of correction but $4k! It is huge.
I expect something between $7-8k for a short time.
93  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin: virtual credit card on: January 21, 2020, 03:15:07 PM
Thanks for the answers Smiley

@InvoKing

Cryptopay has a virtual card too but only for the UK and European citizens https://cryptopay.me/bitcoin-debit-card/ (scroll down the page)
It doesn’t require a KYC verification up to $1,000 (if it's still accurate)
It may be the best choice although people living outside UK/EU could risk their money since they are kind of broking the rules..

In our country we have a local wallet they have Virtual credit card I don't know if other countries is allowed to register in this app, well try it for yourself.
https://www.paymaya.com/
I am looking for something like that (although I prefer to be well known to avoid being scammed
Smiley ). I will do some research to understand if it is available only for .ph or ww.

Why would you need a Bitcoin debit card? If you have Bitcoin, then you can pay someone in any country directly.
As a buyer i can pay with bitcoin indeed but if the seller doesn't offer it as a payment method then..
Besides, some fifth world countries doesn't support worldwide credit cards purchase nor PayPal nor Neteller nor Skrill.... i mean you can get visa/mastercard but you can buy goods only in this country so in other words you are trapped and the only way to buy something legally is to join a service that provides bitcoin credit cards or cards that can be reloaded with bitcoin.
Why virtual cards? Simply to avoid the harass of waiting and/or blocking the plastic card by customs... and i will use it from time to time so VCC seems the best solution.
Hope i made things clearer  Smiley
94  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin: virtual credit card on: January 20, 2020, 11:10:49 AM
Assuming that this is the right place to ask this question:
Is there a Bitcoin virtual debit card that can be used worldwide?
I am aware of this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242788.0 which is useful but not anymore updated.
I am not asking about buying credit cards from a member here nor about services like BitPay which are restricted to some countries. Neteller is good but its mastercard virtual card doesn't support bitcoin...
Additionally, many used to be legit services are scammy now...
So any helpful idea? Thanks.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 20, 2020, 10:52:53 AM
Why not? For bitcoin, it is very possible to reach $20k in 2020. As bitcoin is the powerful and valuable coin and it has a great reputation and value also.

Bitcoin is powerful and valuable comparing to other cryptocurrencies but if we compare it to FIAT, it is less used.
With the actual tendance of the price i may expect that the $15k barrier could be broken by the end of the year.
Bitcoin needs more people to embrace its technology so it can be more powerful
96  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Recycled topics on: January 11, 2020, 12:01:05 AM
I agree with you and the ideal world (forums) will never exists Smiley
For the mega thread idea, believe me it won't work. People here never read the second page in a topic with three pages. Wonder know if they read the first page or even the first topic. The only solution is a massive moderation in those mega topics which will be only temporarily mostly since the selected mod will be pissed off and will lock it after few months or even weeks  Wink
97  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Why would I want 10 Ferraris, when I can help my people' on: January 10, 2020, 11:52:26 PM
Being rich is not bad since you always has some secured funds for medical problems or urgent issues. Being rich isn't always equal to having a happy life also. Helping people with giving them money/food/clothes for free is the worst thing that could happen. Personally I think that helping people with a job by building an industry or recruit them in a farm...etc is way better than throwing bucks for them from time to time.
In poor countries, some people have a job called beggars, no seriously they are sitting in the same goddamn place, kicking other beggars around unless they are from the same clan, asking for money with (optionally) a baby/salty dressed kid (not their obviously), if you give them pennies they may overreact and insult you, if you give them some bucks for goods (facial tissues, homemade cakes or bread...) ,they will ask you if they can keep both, the money and the good, for their poor babies...
Fast-forward, in 1 day "some" of them are gaining money twice or thrice what you obtained from your job for several hardworking days...
Someone told me a story about a guy he know begging from place to place for money, he asked him to work for him. Of course the guy refused since he is collecting money x2 the proposed salary (which is good btw)...
I may be went a little bit off-topic but this subject is pissing me off each time I think about lazy rude people getting free money while we hard-working ones suffer to get it! I am not saying that every beggar is rich but some of them are cruel so better to help someone you know, a friend, a family member, even without revealing your identity, or just offer/help them getting a job if you are rich...
98  Other / Meta / Re: 50 merit transactions on: January 10, 2020, 11:09:48 PM
I don't get the point of this topic...really.

According to these data, I don't think there is a big issue. I mean there aren't many abusers.
Obviously theymos is abusing the system. TMAN, suchmoon, Mitchell are well-known abusers too Roll Eyes

It's obvious that, JL421, phr0stbyt3, Newbie1273819, Neovitadi, Jalum, asdalani, stripykitteh have abused the merit system.
Simply report them so DT will paint them red... Also the first three ones were discussed in another topic.
Edit : here is the topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5215492.0 (no need to duplicate the same topic, already created by yourself)
Edit 2 : Shit. Just understand why
Theymos gives merit if they deserve it , at the same time i don't think he will do that because he know the consequences, can you show something that he really abusing the system?

I wouldn't answer you firstly, because we all know that theymos is the biggest merit abuser living in earth...ever...and since you are a FULL MEMBER i will give you the most awaited ANSWER but in the form of 2 questions : How do you become a full member seriously? and How old are you?
Of course, you aren't asked to answer it but to think twice.
Tips : read between the lines comrades before commenting
99  Other / Ivory Tower / Recycled topics on: January 09, 2020, 10:51:33 PM
From time to time (months or even days), I found the same topic repeated/recycled over and over by different users or even the same member.
I used to be a little bit active in the past (RL pb) especially in meta until i decided to avoid it since i am pissed off of the attitude of some members.

Few days ago I took a look and the same thing is happening over and over.
Meta is the heaven for merit collector.
Pop pup a suggestion that was said before and you will get easy merit + random discussion that was said and even answered before... For example, topic about the rank after legendary and mythical suggestion with some bla bla bla...
Or scrap data (provided to the public by VOD, DdmrDdmr, LoyceV...) and create endless topics about merit transactions or create some pictures/smart art for some money merit (at least this one could be a good thing since there is an effort on it...and I am not talking about the contest).

After writing this, I though about deleting it but whatever, it is in the ivory tower, where maybe my feeling belongs today?
I may be wrong, any comment is welcome

This is so 2018. It's not a thing that is done by DT members anymore.
Time stopped right there for some people  Smiley

I don't get the point of this topic...really.
Re-read the subject, OP's just stating those transactions.
Re-read my edit 1 & 2.

Collecting merit in such way is pathetic imo.
