81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 23/40 🚀 WE DOMINATE! on: December 20, 2017, 02:56:48 PM
I am definitely ready for the big xmas surprise. What does everyone see as the marketcap for DO come 2018? Could we see 100 million + ? Would be a lot of fun to see!

After the airdrops are complete next year, I could see the market cap going to 100 million + easily. Heck, the price wouldn't even have to increase that much from where it is now. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is hands down the best managed coin I've ever been a part of. Can't wait to see what next year hodls.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or XRP? on: December 19, 2017, 07:23:30 PM
Yeah, that's a tough call. I really, really don't like XRP, but I see a lot of mainstream powers that be pushing it and thus I see a lot of growth potential.

Ltc has been doing well lately and will probably continue to do so, but you might get less of a return percentage wise.

If I had the extra funds, I'd probably through a little in both and see what happens.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 on: December 19, 2017, 01:03:14 PM
I remember there were a lot of early warnings agains this project, but apparently not so many wanted to listen to them.

Everybody had too many minereum and if they dump on market they wouldn't get any return for it.

So they joined this one. It was like mandatory for minereum holders.

Try artemine or lose a big part of your investment.

YUP! That's the reason I'm invested in ARTE! As many more I guess...

It was either this, or risk your MNE become worthless. (Or sell MNE at a loss)

In my opinion the DEV behind both projects (I think it's the same, even dough he already stated it's not) is a pump and dumper.
In MNE he pumped the price two times only by rumors. I guess he will do the same in ARTE. And when that time comes it's time to cash out.

I think the dev is a kid with just a few programming skills, not knowing how to run a business. I've accepted my loss with MNE/ARTE.

I don't know, I don't get that sense, but I definitely agree that he has no idea how to run a business. He seems to think he can pop in with good news and the price will respond, but people have gotten wise to that. It's going to take some actual marketing skills to get these things on the map again.

That being said, I'm in the same boat. I've written off MNE/ARTE as losses and just check these threads from time to time to see if I've missed anything.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst Who Predicted Bitcoin’s Rise Now Sees It Hitting $300,000-$400,000 on: December 18, 2017, 07:47:12 PM
That's a pretty aggressive call - although I read the article and don't really see a time prediction tied to it. He just says it's the 'end game.' Going by that, he could be speaking in a matter of decades. Hard to say really, but I expect it to hit that price point sometime in the future. It'll probably be a bumpy ride to get there, though.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: December 18, 2017, 04:41:05 PM
DEV, please tell me there will be a reason for the people to play the app and hold the coins, not only that but hopefully a tertiary reason.  I love it, and it seems safer than having people run in front of cars for randomly spawned mne, but there must be something else.  If not, it's great use case will be for babysitters.

The other use was the token creation service, but that doesn't seem very popular. If the app is developed fully, I expect it to blow up like Pokémon, but like you said, without a tertiary reason, I don't expect the bubble to last very long.

Who knows, though, maybe it'll get accepted by some websites for online payment or something useful.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ripple (the biggest cheater) manipulates itself 60% up and traders seem to join on: December 14, 2017, 05:50:40 PM
Alas, I sold all my XRP sometime ago. I really only held onto it begrudgingly because I see the powers that be are pushing it and as such I expected it to do well. I just got tired of waiting and moved onto other projects that have done fine.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 22/40 🚀 WE DOMINATE! on: December 14, 2017, 02:39:35 PM
I bought a hundred onions and sent it to my wallet just after the wallet crawl started. Since they start on wallets with high onions, I hope they haven't been in my wallet before the onions arrives, else it defeated the purpose of the purchase.
they crawl the wallets a number of times up to the drop. if you move onions out they take the lowest reading. not sure if they take the highest if you add onions but i would of thought so. maybe someone can confirm this? as if not it also defeats the object of adding onions in the no move time

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that the crawl only occurs once before the Friday airdrop. It really depends on where they are in the process and when your wallet gets scanned as to whether or not the added ones will be taken into account.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins down December 12 on: December 13, 2017, 07:34:14 PM
Currently, it's taking me forever to sign in. They tweeted this on 12/08:

Account registration is enabled again. We are still experiencing an exceptional load on our servers and you may notice the website being slower than usual. We apologise for the problems! #Bitcoin #LocalBitcoins

Looks like they're just really overloaded right now.
89  Other / Meta / Re: My account is HACKED - What should I do to retrieve it? on: December 13, 2017, 01:51:43 PM
The information you're looking for can be found here:

I've heard account recovery is rare, though, so best of luck.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Artemine- First Self Mining Smart Contract 2.0 on: December 11, 2017, 08:54:58 PM
What is going on with Artemine? Volume is 0 on Livecoin ? And what is goin on with marketcap? Will be there soon or no? Should I keep this token or just sell it? Some other exchange?

You only have to look at Minereum to see the Dev's track record to see why no one is interested right now. There's just not enough scheduled updates to keep investor's interest's peaked. The Dev usually delivers on his promises, but the communication is lacking - hence little to no volume.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: December 11, 2017, 01:13:07 PM
someone accumulating huge amount of this .. over 20k
is there something happened secretly and we dont know about it?

btw never touch my address from the beginning ..
how many MNE on it today?

You can check your available balance by looking at the information in this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1867535.msg18683280#msg18683280

It's pretty easy, but if you've never touched your address, you should have quite a few available.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make Crypto YOURS Again! on: December 08, 2017, 01:44:09 PM
what the price for each single coin?

Currently the best sell price is at 0.0000065 Eth per token which, at the moment, roughly translates to 0.002780895 USD per token. You can add URHOC in Etherdelta under the 'Other' category to see the charts.

It's impossible to assign a price to a truly decentralized currency with a centralized "currency" like Bitcoin, Ether, or USD.

Oh, I agree. In my mind, URHOC is priceless and I'm hodling like there's no tomorrow. If I had the extra funds, I'd pick up some more.

Just trying to give the user a rough reference point.

94  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed transaction more than a month ago! please help !! on: December 06, 2017, 07:21:12 PM
That's a decent amount of cash you've got stuck there - sorry. I was under the impression that eventually if unconfirmed it would return to your wallet. I had one stuck for a week, but I've never seen one stuck that long.

Maybe try the information found here: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/21901/what-happens-if-your-transaction-is-never-confirmed
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: December 06, 2017, 01:57:59 PM
Yeah, I'd love to see $100 as well, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Even if the app is released before then, it needs some marketing and sustainability. The price could jump significantly as it's a novel idea, but do you see anymore people out in the streets these days collecting Pokémon? I don't....it was a short-lived fad. Granted, when money is involved, that could be more of a motivator, but this remains to be seen if and when the app is released.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Switches Tact, Backs Bitcoin as New Gold on: December 05, 2017, 08:39:41 PM
The big stock market houses and banks are going to start trading futures on cryptos- gambling that there gonna rise /fall
This is bad news for what we understand to be the crypto market. The prices will start to move in ways you wont recognize because they will be moved from the inside just like the stock market. Anyone with out inside knowledge of stocks will always get burnt in the long run, we dont have dinner meetings with  government ministers, law makers and other giants in the industry -they do. Bit by bit .. .. . this might get tricky.   : (

Couldn't agree more. Futures trading on crypto will artificially manipulate the price just like it does with gold and silver. It's an attempt at control, for sure.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many national central banks plan to launch digital currency. What do you think? on: December 05, 2017, 03:05:33 PM
Central banks and the powers that be are trying to co-opt the movement - it's what they do when they can't control something. Whether it's successful or not will depend on a number of factors that remain to be seen.

I'm hopeful that people don't fall for this and continue on the chosen path. The cat's already out of the bag and I think these attempts by the central bankers are too little too late.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract on: December 04, 2017, 07:50:31 PM
Looks like this is a very interesting project. But why is this information about Minereum so poor? Maybe there is additional information?

Good luck getting additional information. The best source I've found is following the twitter account here: https://twitter.com/minereumtoken

The Dev doesn't seem to like to take much time to provide updates unless a feature is ready to be released.
99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie greetings and help on: December 04, 2017, 02:39:00 PM
Generally speaking, different coins will have different wallets. If they are Ethereum tokens, they can usually be held in the same spot - like myetherwallet. You might do a little research in the nano ledger for an offline cold storage wallet. It doesn't support everything, but it does support quite a few alts at the moment.

Cryptopia has a marketplace associated with their exchange. It's a bit bare to be honest, but there's a few interesting things on there:
