81  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: June 19, 2018, 01:15:37 PM
Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?

That's right, you say it's very important to invest in different sources of income. From my experience, I can say that in every business there is seasonality. For example, in real estate, daily rent in the summer is more expensive and profitable than in winter. And in the winter at the ski resort rental apartments is more profitable than in the summer. Cryptocurrency is just one source of income, from a large variety of
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Ripple on: June 18, 2018, 06:44:55 PM
To be honest I don't understand people who believe in Ripple coins at all. I can't understand one thing, you didn't see the dollar printed in a very large volume. This coin has so many coins that are not issued, which simply lie in reserve. Banks can instantly bring down this coin in price. Full delirium.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: June 18, 2018, 06:32:20 PM
I will not stop telling everyone that bitcoin is the future economy of IT technologies, which every year more and more shows humanity its importance. Cryptocurrency is a blockchain technology that will enable many spheres of life to make progress.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: June 18, 2018, 06:28:56 PM
I am absolutely convinced that the market of any asset is managed by a group of people. I will give an example of Oil and gold - this assets, which are constantly manipulated by the miners of this resource. In cryptocurrency, those who have a lot of coins or the one who mines with mining the most are manipulated. And of course speculators always want to profit from an interesting price.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 18, 2018, 06:25:16 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

I studied Economics at the University, and I want to tell you that what is far from practice in theory. Only in the process of life can you understand and learn the basics of economic life. I think Economics should be studied at school at the level of mathematics or history.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: June 17, 2018, 05:27:27 PM
So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!

I do not believe that there will be a coin that can overtake bitcoin... no. I think the Ethereum, Yes, will be able to overtake the new coin, which will be much more perfect. But we'll stay and see.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bountyhive scam on: June 17, 2018, 05:25:35 PM
The teams are using us to enrich their pocket
I know many people will oppose me but with few observations I can tell you the are scam, the pay just 2% ND keep the rest for themselves, I believe there are some who will agree with me.

have u ever participated in any bounty here on bitcointalk campaign with 6000 people? name one bounty here with 6000 telegram participate, the give you penny and take the rest, i still stand firm on my words, the teams are using us to enrich their pocket

You use the wrong word, They are not scammers, they are intermediaries between the company that goes for ICO and you. It takes a percentage of the total pool of awards. That's why you think you got very little. and of course there are a lot of people. More than 1000 participants, it follows that the payments will be very small
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: June 17, 2018, 05:22:25 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.

I'll tell you about my observations. I met many hunters who regretted selling coins after the release, because coins could make X10 X20 and even x 100 or X200 in about month. Yes, Yes, this was also in 2017. Why sell? because they do not think about the prospects and are afraid that the coin will fall in price.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs on: June 17, 2018, 05:15:50 PM

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite ICO at the moment? on: June 17, 2018, 05:11:28 PM
Personally, I always do this! I choose 5 interesting companies that conduct ICO. I see if they're doing now bounty company, then I'm in it running. It is necessary to analyze the trend of your product that you want to buy. (NO WORDS ON the FORUM, YOU do NOT have CREDIBILITY, you are responsible for their actions, so seriously go to the selection.) Next, look at the signature in the bounty company . If there are members with the rank of hero or legendary, at if a few, big + of this company. Just look and study the company's plans, what product. If you like the idea. Then buy tokens.

I think my pump is starting to die. Seems the temps at are 55C and fan is running at 3200, don't remember it ever being this loud before. Ambient is 30C.

Anyone know where to get a replacement? Nothing too expensive as this is an old miner already. What is the L/min flow of the stock pump?
Someone might have a cheaper solution.  Those work great though when my syscooling pumps died what I went to.

I went completely ghetto, 13$ submersible pump from amazon and a disposable piece of Tupperware as the reservoir and hot glue to hold the tubes in place.  The flow rate is a little lower but that translated to be like 2c higher and completely insignificant.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Portfolio Tracker on: March 03, 2016, 10:59:37 PM
Hi guys,

How do you manage your portfolio?
How big is it?
How many exchanges?
How many coins?

#1 Quicken
#3 Many exchanges. (assume they will screw you, report your info, get hacked, flat out steal ). Cant wait for a good decentralized trading platform.
#4 Not many just a few I find worthy and I don't actively trade often. but its just a few clicks to add a coin and a click to enter the current price

Been using quicken or ms money since the 90's. I setup an account and enter in my holdings with custom ticker symbols & cost basis and manually update the value every few days using the info from coin market cap . This will show historical price data (that was entered).  Probably not the best for an active trader but good for holding and big picture asset allocation.

This method also works for physical precious metals using SLV / GLD while not completely accurate its close enough and  hassle free.
