81  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 02, 2022, 08:40:14 AM

looks like this another expert who told before the war that Ukraine will stand for 72 hours. Now he's telling that "counteroffensive was a failure". Could it be true? Of course. But here is one problem: We will know it for sure after some time, like weeks or even months. To tell about "failure" after 2-3 days - you're an idiot, or russian Z-ombie / kremlin troll (like you)

On screenshots I see one destroyed tank and one injured soldiers.

"Did you expect a combined arms offensive to be clean, nice, rosy, joyful, and bloodless? This is what a real war looks like.
I don’t get it how you make such conclusions, Julian."
- here is good quote
82  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 02, 2022, 08:09:57 AM
No beggars in Russia? You must be living in alternative reality.

Because for this paid kremlin troll russia == moscow. In moscow there no beggars, really. Because city government hunting them like a mad dogs. Typical thing what nazis did to "clean up your city"

I think nobody didn't said that Ukraine will regain control of Kherson in day or two. Few days ago in my post I said that there is need to celebrate something already and it's only beginning. Now yoy probably will start telling fairytales from Russian Defence Ministry about thousands of Ukrainian troops killed in few days. Or like Konashnenkov today said, 44 HIMARS Cheesy.

Do not listen to him. This idiot posted (on March 22) things like that:

Yes, Captain Obvious, aggressors will die. That's the whole point.
In Kyiv on May 9 2022, a traditional parade will be held in honor of the victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany. It is naive and foolish to doubt it.

The same situation is now. "fucked up, fucked up, fucked up ....... ЖECT ДOБPOЙ BOЛИ, MЫ УШЛИ C XEPCOHA"  Grin
83  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 01, 2022, 07:16:46 PM
But by and large no one ever promised the capture of Kiev in any time frame.

Ofc, no one except be.open above and a lot of russian propagandists earlier

I can find a lot of such vibes . But now russian found that ukrainians figthing pretty good and russian loosing, so they will tell ofc that "there were no such plan!!1"
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dugin's daughter killed. Did she really say this? on: September 01, 2022, 01:59:10 PM
In both cases, her father is also a civilian.

It's time for the ad hitlerumGrin
Hitler also was a civilian!

Let's talk it again: Anyone who promotes russian soldiers to continue this war is the same as russian soldier. Russian soldier is legitimate target for ukrainians. So, every government worker or government propagandist get paid from Kremlin is also legitimate target. PERIOD.

All other takes it's just a juggling to whitewash russian nazis. I understand that this is easy for you to be a "gentleman in a white coat" and to bitching about morale and all other shit. But ukrainians who is get bombed in Kharkiv or Mykolaiv tells you: "First, take a big step back and literally F*** YOUR OWN FACE!!! (the best scene )
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 01, 2022, 01:47:41 PM
"As a result of the defeat of the Ukrainian offensive in the Nikolaevo-Krivorozhskoe and other directions carried out on Zelensky's personal orders, the enemy suffered large-scale losses. The effective actions of the Russian group of troops destroyed 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting vehicles, 37 other armored fighting vehicles, 8 pickup trucks with large-caliber machine guns and more than 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers in 24 hours," the ministry said.

 Grin

Yes yes, that's ofc true. I'm very satisfied that russian mod already telling about "defeat", because in real war it can take weeks to understand is it defeat or victory, Will be easy to blame them on this forum.

johhnyUA writes fakes

I just do not have time to argue with trolls like you for free. My terms is simple: We both send 200 dollars to the escrow and after that I'll find you needed sentences with "Kyiv in 3 days" . Maybe not direct words, but the same vibe. KP has a lot of it both on their sites and telegram channel.
86  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: August 28, 2022, 12:47:57 PM
Members of the National Guard of Ukraine, who were guarding the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, are transferring to Russian units and obtaining Russian citizenship.

https://www.kp.ru/online/news/4893891/?utm_source=yxnews&utm_medium=desktop

"Об этом рассказал в воскресенье 27 августа член главного совета военно-гражданской администрации Запорожской области Владимир Рогов"

Trustworthy source (sarcasm).

KP is ultra propagandist site, you should try to find those who's mimic under "neutral source" for your post, otherwise looks like bs.
And the main problem that this site (KP) is in parallel reality because of that. I've seen a lot of funny predictions from them (We will take Kyiv in 3 days!) which were never to happen.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 28, 2022, 12:43:27 PM
I know that many bettors, if a sporting event develops in favor of their bet, make a counter bet - for example, they bet on odds of 1.3 and on the opposite event, the odds were 3.3. Then the odds changed 1.3 -> 1.1 and 3.3 -> 5.7. At this moment, they "fix" their winnings by betting on the opposite outcome with odds of 5.7. Or they use the option of selling their bet (cashout - some bookmakers have such an option), that is, they receive their winnings immediately, but less than if they wait until the end of the sporting event.
In my opinion, this is not a profitable strategy, since in this way you minimize your profit, but potentially maximize your losses - if a sporting event develops against your bet, then you lose it entirely without any compensation.

Let's do it with math.

We have two opposite events, with 1.3 and 5.7 probabilities of success.

We will bet 100 dollars on each. What will we get?

If the frist one outcome with 1, the second one is 0. So we ll get 130 dollars but will lose 100 from second bet. - 70 dollars result

If we would bet 100 on 1.3 and 50 dollars on 5.7 this would end up in -20 if 1.3 is succesfull and +87 if the 5.7 would occur. This is not mathematical right behaviour. This will led you to loses only

If the second one is successfull, we will obtain 570 dollars and lost 100 dollars. But the problem that even with 5.7 coef is nearly impossible to happen!
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 12:25:30 PM
Having read the story do you think that this could be the extreme or a new dimension of gambling addiction?

No man, looks like an ordinary criminals. Maybe they thought that if they will rob poker and roulette businesses, society and police will not try to catch them too hard. (Because a lot of people think that gambling is low moral business, sometimes also criminal).

But this was wrong decision as we can see it now.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 08:35:44 PM
KYC for casinos is generally done because the players might be using a fraudulent methods for gambling. And the surest way to protect casinos from cheating is to get some personal info and background check.

In this case, casino should register itself in trustworthy country, so I should know that casinos doesn't use fraudulent methods  Grin
Otherwise I can't consider it as fair deal

Casinos often claim KYC is required due to regulations and anti-money laundering laws, but that's not true. As far as I know, all AML laws and regulations apply to large transactions only. KYC for small transaction is normally not a requirement.

Not only for the large one. For all transactions and for all users. Service must have database with KYC-ed clients.

91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 02:00:30 PM
I don't see the big deal of kyc? You trying to avoid taxes? Underage? Gambling for an illegal jurisdiction? IMO those are the users who would likely have an issue performing kyc for a casino.

Man, you're a little wrong here (imo). Personally I don't want to do KYC for some offshore-registered services (90 % of casinos and book). And the reason is that such services has liability around zero , so if they get "hacked" or just sell their database to the third party, it will be near impossible to sue them.

I have no problem to do KYC with some services registered in trustworthy countries, like Bitstamp or bet365. But again, no KYC for offshore cunning rats!
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: August 27, 2022, 01:55:45 PM
Bet265 has been known here as a shady casino so I am not surprised if this casino will change its name into something that people will easily fool them.

I think you confused something: bet365 is registered in UK. I would call it the most trustworthy bookmaker from all I have seen.

So it's obvious why shady services will try to mimic its name: because people know and trust bet365, so likely they will do the same with btc365 (this is how mentality works, some kind of logic fallacy)
93  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dugin's daughter killed. Did she really say this? on: August 27, 2022, 01:49:11 PM
Dugin's daughter: 'Ukrainians are not humans. They all deserve to die.'
Trying to check the tweet but it appears to be deleted.

Here it is - https://t.me/ressentiment_channel/29496
But this is live stream, you need to know russian for understand what she saying.

On one hand I'm against people being killed, especially this way and I don't think that woman deserved to die this way.

In your opinion better death for her would be a death by giant dildo, or what? Comb in the car is a classic!  Cool

I do not want to appear as the devil's advocate in this situation, and I am well aware that what that lady did is spreading racist ideas and that she deserves to be tried, but this does not justify calling for her killing or finding that killing her is legitimate.

No, you're wrong.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 26, 2022, 09:59:19 PM
I do not know how people playing slots, but from math and probability theory it's better to use jumper strategy. Let me explain why:

Probability of your winning still the same, regardless your concentration or time spent before the monitor. So, if there is no big difference, why you should waste more of your attention or time? So just few big bets - and let your luck to decide is it your day or not. You will get to the same result in all other ways, just will lose more time
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots and Crash Game version Football. on: August 26, 2022, 09:55:43 PM
Penalty shootout and penalty manager have similarities in the engine with Crash there are also JetX and Lucky Jet slots in the same casino sportsbet.io in the crash-games section there is an Aviator game, and in general, of course, it was possible to diversify the crash series, for example, free throws in basketball or ball throws in baseball, for example.

But again, this is just another design of the (in fact) the same game. I'm not in slots, so I can't say is is worth to play the same game or not with another design. Maybe, sometimes people want some other design, but in my opinion you should play another game with a different mechanic if your want some variety in your gambling life.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: August 26, 2022, 09:49:51 PM
btc365.com (5 month ago) who have tf gaming or other chinese platform without KYC

For my view, I would not trust book which is trying to mimic under well known site bet365. Shady enough.
Honest book will push his own franchise, rather than creating similar connotations with others. Looks like site is trying to fool you in in some way (mimic under well known name). For what reason?

But this is my IMO
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 26, 2022, 09:43:28 PM
It's not just 1xbet that is connected to 1xbit I see. There are also familiar casino's like KawBet which I remembered did a signature campaign here before. Also seeing pnxbet which is also heavily marketed in our country. Most promoters are youtubers and streamers that has a Philippine target audience. Almost same marketing strategy of 1xbet that rely on youtubers and social media influencers. It's my first time knowing that there are many casino that is under of the same company of 1xbit. Iv'e seen some accusations about other casino's mentioned so.

Yep man. Those who run "1x ... bet" franchise has a lot of such scammy sites. You should avoid any sites with "1X" in the head of the name. Or sites with similar to 1x design, because mostly scammers are greedy people and they do not want to create a lot of sites with different architecture and interface . This is easy  Smiley
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 26, 2022, 09:36:13 PM
Among the few ones that actually haven't lost a lot of value are cryptos that represent gambling sites, for instance:

..............................

Are these things similar to what we had in the 1990s and 2000s before Crypto - like buying "William Hill" or "Ladbrokes" stocks? Is it more or less the same thing just in Crypto?

Ofc not. This is just another altcoins, with all corresponding risks inherent to altcoins. So i would not invest a lot of fiat money or even good crypto in such things. Not the best idea to do so on bear market. Such altcoins can crush to the bottom in just few hours.

And why OWL keeps on going up in price? Honestly their site doesn't seem to be very unique or impressive - anyone has a credible explanation who is behind the price rise of that OWL token?!

That's called "shitcoin pump", nothing special.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 09:31:13 PM
The casino argues that the selection of KYC for users is random and not based on anything.

This is ofc pure bs. Due to international AML/KYC standard, all services is required to have all it's customers with KYC. No exceptions.

This also seems to be the case in crypto-based casinos as many of the casinos that previously didn't require KYC now do KYC randomly. And many of us complain about this, even though we know that casinos have written about KYC in their regulations. But still, we can't be free and calm in playing gambling, especially to withdraw the money.

Because crypto world become more and more regulated, so I don't see any weird things. Casinos will do "random" KYC until ALL users in their database will be KYC-ed.

Is this unavoidable in crypto based casinos? Or are crypto gamblers also required to do KYC?

No, it's not avoidable in this circumstances. Do KYC or do not play. Or choose newly created casinos without reputation but also without need to do KYC (until some time)

And will this trigger crypto-based casinos that use wallet logins to develop better because they don't need to register as usual and only need to connect their wallets to the casino? Or do they also need to do KYC? Or for this type of casino can still be "forced" to do KYC?

I assume that such casinos have logs with all your connections, like wallet connected + your IP + fingerprint of your browser. It's even better than ordinary KYC
