This will become just as much of a disservice to HIRO as it will be for the coins/ ALTS, dumped by the pool. Many/most do not think favourably of multi pools. HIRO's image will suffer because of that.

You forgot to mention how you will achieve the 30% if the price increases.

Remember peeps... if its too good to be true..  Wink

wow, ok, so your point of view is plainly clear, you obviously have an agenda. either that or you're clinically retarded.

since when does a multipool which buys that one coin not act favorably towards the coin, are you even sure what you're talking about?

I was in on the very genesis of the development of the first multipool for Blackcoin, i was in IRC when Radiostatic had his meltdown and gave the reigns to Legion development. I helped gnu_user test the database of the new multipool one late night after another. and do you remember how "favorably" that affected BC's price? going from 500 satoshis to 30,000, peaking at around 90,000.

so do us all a favor and stop spreading FUD. or do your homework and learn what it is that you're actually talking about.

and by the way, has anyone seen the increased activity today on the trading price on mintpal? it's broken 400 sat and looks to keep on climbing. take a peek at those buy orders stacking up. about to be a fun time for the real #1 x11 coin. (which doesn't have any darksend BS feature that will only backfire when it gets banned from all major exchanges)

Hm, why the rage and the tone, chill out man.
If a coin rises a few ticks on 3 BTC total turnover its not really a reason to cheer. Look where its at today.
This whole multipool crap is a rather desperate attempt, the effect is marginal.

And now bark again.

And then you would say the opposite if it was going down. Up is better than down. It's just that.

The multipool was released a couple days ago as an early beta. Give it time. There is a need for X11 multipools, and we got one.

LOL, you guys are all ragging on me for being honest. Its too funny. I don't know if you guys realize this but I and this account have been here way longer then EMC2. Everyone else made new accounts to represent EMC2.

I'm not going to go down with this ship anymore and I need to be open with the community. After this coin dies I doubt you'll see any of our other team members still using their accounts. I although will still use my account.

Diox is a chump, he has been working on making a new site for 2 months with nothing to show for it except bullshit crying every night on skype.

Our Core dev has been working on a wallet for a few months with nothing to show for it.

3 of the team members just dropped out and have not been heard from in weeks/months.

These are all facts. Ryan, Christine and I have tried as hard as we could to get things going. We've asked for dev help, offered bounties and have come up short.

It was nice while it lasted but with no team where is the coin going to go?

We wanted experiment.com to take emc2, they wanted to take it but needed a USD merchant processor. Moolah was supposed to do that but they have dropped the ball.

Everything with this coin sucks. I'll still be here in the years to come but EMC2 wont, sadly!
It has nothing to do with you being honest. Jump ship, jump ship, but no point in trying to sink the ship with it. Leave it be. Leave and never look back.

Hop on www.hiropool.org ! Multipool paying out in hiro. Many X11 coins are doing well right now, so good profitability to buy into hiro at higher profits!
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | Funding the future with the future of currency on: May 14, 2014, 03:09:07 PM
its still too early! mine hard and you will rewarded!

Nahhh, its over.
If you give up, give up. Don't start raining on people for not giving up.

There is 1 main reason this coin is now showing slow growth, and it's because of "the flavor of the months" popping up. Those temporary success coins that follow a trend of 1 success coin. EMC2 is different and didn't go through some hype scheme to artificially inflate price, obviously it's gonna show slower growth. If you were in it for a get rich quick, you probably didn't choose the right coin, but fundamentals are there, which is a safer bet than hype.

And I can't even see the 2000 coins i've solomined because the wallet crashes !
omg you can't SEE them? Omg!

Oh, btw, I know the frontend is brand new, so, I don't know if you're aware, but there is no way to monitor miners activity (my workers page doesn't show miners as active, but you just confirmed you see me and I see work sent). And I'm sure a pool stats is in the works? Or is it already and I just couldn't find it.

Ps, nice job all around on your whole pools work.  And thanks for bringing the first (I think) x11 multipool. Great for hiro!

Success, thanks. Switching a part of my farm to this pool. And if all is dandy, my full farm in the next few days.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][0.8.6] Hirocoin - X11 - NGW - Secured Blockchain - Time Warp Limitation on: May 13, 2014, 07:27:22 PM
I'm currently mining on stratum+tcp://hiropool.org:4444 without issue and the frontend is acessible. Anyone else having issues?

I can see 6 users on the 4444 port right now so I believe its all running as expected. What issue are you having? Unavailable pool in sphsgminer?

EDIT: You're showing up on the list of active miners
ah, my computers at home can connect, just not my farm. Probably the route at my farm doesn't allow port 4444 (strange though because I'm pretty sure I used 4444 before).

Too bad I lost my router password, can't modify it through teamspeak without that little sticker on the router lol

I assume there is no alternate ports?

I'll set up an alternate port for you now. Would 10000 be ok?
Sure let's try that. (Don't have access to the open ports, but 4444 is the only port I haven't been able to connect to yet).

curious to see this many haters, wasting their time posting fud about this coin.

as a potential investor, it makes my ears perk up.

Theres nothing like watching multipools fucking the early adopters right up their stream processors !

What do your country's laws say about this ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conflict_of_interest
Quote
A conflict of interest (COI) is a situation occuring when an individual or organization is involved in multiple interests, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation.

The implementation of the multipool if anything should help the early adopters as those coins that they have mined are going to become more valuable as time goes on and the multipool continues to buy up HIRO

So the multipool uses the hash power to mine a coin and those coins are turned into HIRO? Or is it Hiro mined and then traded for BTC? If its the later, multipools tend to keep prices pushed down because they drop tons of coins at once in short amount of time... as for the former, you are correct that would help eat up sell orders... I would think.

Yes it's the former and yes it's slowly been eating up the sell orders since being live. As the hashrate increases on the multipool the more HIRO is bought daily.

And yes I'll be purchasing a dedicated domain name shortly.

You can now access the HiroPool from http://www.hiropool.org

You can point your X11 miners to stratum+tcp://hiropool.org:4444
Scrypt miners can connect to stratum+tcp://hiropool.org:3333
pool seems to be down. 4444 at least.

So can we get an update on what's going on and the multipool?
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | Funding the future with the future of currency on: April 29, 2014, 03:37:35 PM
The Top 100 list is not the same now as 2 weeks ago.

According to Cryptsy and Mintpal the $300+ rates are historic lows, according to Market cap and Polonex both of which have a longer history with EMC2, the position has not seen such low values since it's early beginnings at which time that $300+ value wasn't a low but rather a high, at that time the coin was catching waves upward and onward.

When the coin graduated from a single exchange to multiple exchanges it should have also graduated from the $300 EMC2.

Maybe if anything you said was relevant at all people would care.

has anyone noticed the abundance of other x11 coins popping up? how will this impact hiro going forward, in particular, there are new x11 pow/pos coins such as badgercoin that have recently launched with features some of our hiro community have been calling out for in hirocoin such as pos and reduced coin supply.

I haven't seen another x11 coin really worth a damn.

And the POS hype is a bandwagon everyone wants to jump in on because of BC. Like country coins. It's pretty much the definition of pump and dump, launch something that is hyped.

Your best bet is sticking with what is good, not what is hyped.  Too easy to get burned on hype. Yeah you can make money off of those, but personally I don't risk it.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: don't use X11,many peopel use fgpa mining X11 coin on: April 28, 2014, 03:04:32 AM
Lol, anyone who believes this is close to brain dead. Cost involved Into designing is too significant to even THINK about building an fpga/asic for an algo at such infancy.

Also, I find it funny how in recent months, starting any post with "I am china" seems to invoke confidence when trying to spread FUD about a subject.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | Funding the future with the future of currency on: April 27, 2014, 11:10:11 PM
it will go up again dont worry

guessin' you're not one of those who purchased at $880 eh?

In the span of a week EMC2 lost 57% of it's value, from the unrealistic high of $880 to the unrealistic low of $380, that my friends is not a dip, nor a dive, its a "dump".

So both within a range of 57% are unrealistic? Plus we're smack in the middle of those 2 unrealistic points, therefore we're in a dump?

You tried to string too many bad words together for a successful FUD.  Can't even say "nice try though".

FUD concerns the unknown, I gave you actual facts that you actually experienced.

Being "smack in the middle of those 2 unrealistic points" could be an indication of a dump rebound, or dump recovery, it doesn't diminish the FACT that a dump took place.

Yep,57% less, great occasion to buy when you see everything work fine, dev are active, community too, press release will come, etc...

what you want more ? Smiley

The "press release" has been mentioned numerous times, in as much as it may turn out to be encouraging news, and may have a positive influence on the value of EMC2 when released, clearly it has no impact now.

Exactly how much impact do you expect the press release to have?  will EMC2 go to 2000?  will those who invested at 870 finally see green?

As of release anything over $880 will determine the positive impact the PR had on the coin, nevertheless at this point, I suspect it will play more of a 'mitigating damages' role than anything else.

I think you missed the point. Everything you said is nothing short of retarded.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][0.8.6] Hirocoin - X11 - NGW - Secured Blockchain - Time Warp Limitation on: April 27, 2014, 09:51:21 PM
Multipool Update:

Still in development. Working on having multiple ports that convert to HIRO.

The ports would have multiple coins of that specific algorithm and mining them depending on profitability. The coins would then be exchanged for HIRO every --- hours.

The ports would allow Scrypt, SHA256, Scrypt-N, Keccak SHA3, Groestl and X11
Do you have any ETA? Just wondering at what we're looking at, days, weeks, months, HOURS?!?! lol
