81  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: September 30, 2019, 02:33:48 PM
The blockchain technology stands a good chance to out perform our banking institutions but issues with security where even major blockchain networks have once been hacked pushes this achievement of blockchain technology very far. Until hacking of blockchain networks are solved i don't the global adoption of blockchain technology would ever happen Sad
82  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: September 30, 2019, 02:25:18 PM
Investments are really for courage people who are always looking into the future especially with blockchain solutions. I have lost quite an amount with some projects who had a great vision yet the greed of men which never ceases made them give a damn about their solution. Once they make their profits they abandon the project. Henceforth i have also taught myself not to hold all the assets of any project but sell some and hold part of it. That way i don't keep all my eggs in one basket.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i keep my private keys safe without hardware wallet on: September 30, 2019, 09:26:44 AM
That's some good strategy in keeping your private keys safe mate. I got hacked recently and i don't really know where the security breach was but it seems someone had a remote access to my pc and i had saved my private keys on my pc. A friend adviced me never to save my keys on the same pc which i use for activities in the cryptosphere. I have now written down all my keys and deleted them from my pc. Hopefully, this asshole would stay off my assets.
i have formatted my drive and also get a new OS. A friend also suggests to use linux operating system as this is safer than Windows. What do you guys think?
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How well is the Blockchain technology adopting? on: September 30, 2019, 09:17:12 AM
The adoption of the blockchain technology would not happen overnight mate. This is revolutionary technology for the financial industry and existing institutions are really doing their due diligence before adopting it. Also, the numerous hacks of some blockchain solutions also discourages people from adopting it Sad. However, all hope is not lost as i know successful blockchain solutions that have been developed and working smoothly ever since.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we really have fast transactions like the XRP? on: September 30, 2019, 09:12:01 AM
The robust network of bitcoin does not make it malleable to increase its transaction speed like other blockchain networks have. However, using the lighting network to make payments can help hasten the process. Also, i believe the bounty manager settled to pay very low transaction fee and that caused the delay.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: September 08, 2019, 11:09:25 PM
My greatest regret was selling  about 2 BTC when bitcoin fall at a very low price of $3.4K. I was so scared i thought i would lose my investments but now i can see bitcoin really falls and rises. I have also learnt quite a lot about the market these days i think i would hold the last few bitcoins till i see a new all time high.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 08, 2019, 11:06:27 PM
The sudden appearance of Satoshi Nakamoto would definitely bring an outburst of joy among several crypto enthusiasts like myself but honestly speaking i don't think this dude will ever show up so let's leave him in peace. Also, the fact that he has not moved any of his coins from his wallet gives me the full assurance that he would one day show not in public but we might definitely see some transactions on his accounts.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: September 08, 2019, 10:55:26 PM
Having bitcoin as another mode of payment was the one of the primary reasons why it was first generated by Satoshi Nakamoto. What we need to encourage other marketplace and online stores is to accept bitcoin as payment so that crypto enthusiasts can spend their cryptocurrencies. This would really grow the usage of bitcoin especially with the increase in the adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
89  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: It is time to change the crypto space once and for all! on: September 07, 2019, 06:45:36 AM
Well we appreciate your concern to educate crypto noobs and greeners about how things work in this industry but i think learning crypto is not as difficult as you make it seem and those tiny mistakes that you mentioned above just occur on the ignorance of people. I don't understand how people tend to make mistakes of sending money to the wrong person. If it's about cases of fraud it's quite different, because we always admonish people to do a good research before proceeding with anything and there are so many popular and trusted sites to learn from. So why do some folks choose to do things their own way and later come and blame this amazing technology. I've never had any issue ever since i entered into the crypto industry.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: September 07, 2019, 06:39:57 AM
Earning bitcoin these days is quite difficult unlike the previous years, hence the more reason why i have decided to start investing 10% of my monthly income from day job into bitcoin. I know we would see another moon days soon just don't know when and it will not hurt much to lose such an amount lol.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 07, 2019, 06:33:37 AM
Bitcoin has come a long way to get banned by the entire world and even as at now some countries have approved of it and the usage of other cryptocurrencies as well. I think there is rather going to be a time when it's fully legalized by other countries as well especially China. Only the future will tell folks.

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shopify is now supporting Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: August 31, 2019, 11:18:34 PM
It's really great that Shopify now accepts bitcoin as another mode of payment hence giving crypto enthusiasts the opportunity to spend their cryptocurrencies. But one thing i have realized among these marketplaces is that most of them that would allow the acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a mode of making payment will ensure that users perform strict KYC procedures.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do people lose confidence with ethereum? on: August 27, 2019, 01:46:13 AM
Most people are giving up on Ethereum because of the failure of ETH to rise even when Bitcoin is rising steadily. Almost everybody invest into cryptocurrencies for profits and not the fun of it so if one of my assets is not bringing profits then it is likely that i would lose confidence in it and start investing into another one. Obviously Bitcoin for sure!

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: August 25, 2019, 10:17:28 PM
I think the reason why Bitcoin seems to be gaining dominance over the crypto space is because of the interest in investing into bitcoin and the huge returns that it gives. Also, with news of bitcoin halving just around that corner, many investors want to get into this bull run of bitcoin that would come shortly.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: August 11, 2019, 03:38:23 PM
Only those who are patient enough are able to earn massively from their cryptocurrency investments. Mostly, crypto noobs are easily swayed away by the frequent market volatility and some of them easily sell during these times. Currently we can see that Bitcoin has reduced to about $11.4k and most crypto starters easily get scared anytime the market crashes suddenly. They are likely to sell their coins to whales who have the patience to wait for the market to rise and make profits.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bnb overtakes eth on: August 10, 2019, 03:01:19 PM
It's pretty obvious that Binance Coin is gaining huge attention from crypto investors. This has been on the increase for quite sometime now especially now that they have also launched thier own DEX you can see the price of BNB rising steadily from time to time. However i don't think BNB would ever overtake ETH looking at the huge community that Ethereum has compared to Binance project.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LMXC] [IEO] | PoS | Gift Cards & Vouchers | Debit Card | Cashback on: August 08, 2019, 11:30:03 PM
Hello there, I read earlier at the launch of a disord bounty contest that you would launch your mainnet in the fourth quarter of this year instead of the previously announced third quarter. How true is this as i had plan to purchase some LMXC myself. I want to know for hos long i would have to hold and wait you know Smiley
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: August 08, 2019, 11:21:34 PM
There is not much to say about Ethereum as Bitcoin is dominating the entire market over 60%. This has made most crypto investors focus much on  investing into Bitcoin other than Ethereum. I would not be surprised if Ethereum still maintains a price less than $500 by the end of this year with Bitcoin way over $15000
