cloakcoin will jump direct to 0.002 Btc/Cloak ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Cloak have most chances this year, finally you can sense here movement of life and some kind of rush. Price will vary till wallet, and who knows what else can surprise us from Cloak-team. Instead of paying for those campaigns you better hire profesionals for that money.. My advice at least consider. I know its your money but we all are affected with your decisions no metter good or bad. Your advice is truly appreciated. Here is the address for the 10 btc you want to contribute to the professional PR effort. Thank you, now we can hire a professional. Address: 1E5AmkCqeKfD7T8FaX7bYhzvoP5aZea9fo When can we expect the transfer? Unless you are member of the Cloak Dev Team, I would be very careful about posting "donation" addresses. Your post could be taken as an official request for PR funds.

Why I invest all my money to Cloakcoin technology but didnt invest to shit like Trumpcoin or Putincoin ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) This is because you love making 'safe' investments ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Cloakteam looks like solid and professional devs, but they work very slowly. I think will be better to to find a compromise between risky and safe investments, and of course to comply the rules of money management. I have many more problems with my 'safe' investments than more risky ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) An "investment" by it's very nature takes time to become valuable. If you are truly "investing" then slow, sustainable value is exactly what your looking for. On the other hand, if you want to "get rich quick", try any of the other 650 or so coins and role the dice... Suppose you like a 'lazy investment' when invested for years and waiting patiently for the projected growth in the unknown period of time. This kind of investment is more suitable for those who have a lot of free money for long-term projects. I prefer short or medium-term investments. Cloak coin is my longest investment ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I Agree, the long term isn't for everyone but even "day traders" should hold some projects for the long term just to balance their portfolio.

What, exactly, are the plans for ECC? I'm a long term investor.

if even one or two wales took notice and realised the potential of bay and took a lot of the weaker hands and dumpers/churners out this would find a base of 1000 sats. After that it would gain at least some attention and additional usage. Whales are not always for short term at all. Some btc whales adopt other worthy projects and keep with that project. Watching the bay market I see a lot of strong hands but many people are churning over for mini profits. It does look though like they keep buying in again with those profits so are gradually taking more bay off of the market.
whales could bring us to top 25 cmc and if you watch a lot of threads on the main alt board as I do long term hodlers mostly only look at the top 10 or top 20 for long term. People there asking for best coin under 1M cap are looking for quick profits in and out.
When people start to use bay as an alternative to an exchange to get into crypto that will be usefull tool.
I am away currently and have not really had much time to use my main trading machines so ive not fired up the market place for a while.
Any run down on just how the paypal to bay unbreakable contract works? sounds interesting.. what prevents them charging back weeks later?
You may be right to some extent but, the true purpose and value of a project is not determined by the holders or traders. It is determined by the users. I see great long term value in BAY, the short term will do as the market wishes but, years from now, BAY should be going strong as a useful application, not a speculative venture. That is where I have set my sights.

Whales you say? Actually, the one thing we DON'T need are whales. Whales are in for the short term profit and out leaving the rest of us holding the bag when the price drops. If you don't agree, go back to the ICO and then tell me we need whales. What we DO need is marketing and David has started down that road, and things are looking up. It's a real shame crypto isn't valued for the tech alone. This project has some rather formidable technology and would certainly be a top ten if that were the case. But, emotion and profit rule this industry and you have to play to both of them to be successful. So, now that the tech is being finalized, we can do just that. I ask everyone reading this to assist with the marketing in any way you can. David is on the right track but, he is an army of one, lets join in shall we? PS: If you are serious about getting BAY listed on Poloniex, I suggest everyone fill out their "Coin Request Form" here: https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

The Factom Slack is where the community is. There are several channels for different topics. It's civil, professional, and well moderated. If you want to know the state of things that's where you will find the information. I don't have the link but it will be a page or few back.
Many crypto projects have moved their activity to Slack and other forums to avoid all the trolls here. Serious projects need a well controlled discussion group at some point in development. This in no way should be taken as "abandoning" their users/investors. It should be viewed as a "step up" in professionalism. I do not personally know if FACTOM has a Slack channel but, if they do, and you want to know whats happening: Join the Slack...

FUD started for take price down... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) If you seriously think I'm trying to spread lies about this coin, you're absolutely clueless. I was holding on to that small bag for over two years. Keep in mind a was ripped off by mintpal for 3500 when Moolah took over, and the amazing thing is I had coins in there for 2 days while I went to sell. I bought around .0006 on average. Recently, I decided to update the client to stake again, and ended up with a total loss. As I said before, the only thing that was installed recently on that machine was the latest wallet from OP. There is another person claiming the exact same thing happened to them a few pages ago. Not one person from the cloak team has replied. I don't use stake only in wallet and on a frend his computer lol 2 jears agoo 10000 dollar stolen first time I cry for coins don't no wat 2fa was now everything 2fa couple of monds back my own fauld 1700 dollar gone nothing on my pc again 1 week agoo I had a mail from c-cex loggin failed I use more than a year no c-cex its your IP format don't help I think greets and sorry for my very talented engels ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I have no idea what you're saying but I use 2fa for everything, and this has nothing to do with your situation. I downloaded a "legitimate" wallet and received a wallet with an undetectable trojan. There are numerous Trojans out there that are quite adept at stealing funds from wallets, doesn't matter if it's CLOAK, Bitcoin or any other, you will never know it happened until you find your funds are gone. Even if your PC is protected, eventually, something will get through. That's why its a good idea to run multiple virus protection programs such as MalewareBytes and one of the top ten listed here: http://www.top10bestantivirus.com/ Using 2fa is a good idea but, it won't stop an attack vector that rides under it meaning if your already logged into a site, and that site is compromissed, 2fa does nothing. One of the oldest: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/pony-trojan-steals-cryptocurrencies-bitcoin/ Credentials theft: http://virusguides.com/dridex-banking-trojan-bans-suspicious-hosts-adds-crypto-currency-wallets-hit-list/Another: https://www.hackread.com/coinbitclip-trojan-threat-to-bitcoin/Overview: https://www.secureworks.com/research/cryptocurrency-stealing-malware-landscapeQuote from the overview: "Wallet stealer The most common type of CCSM is the wallet stealer, a category that includes nearly every family of CTU-analyzed CCSM. This type of malware searches for "wallet.dat" or other well-known wallet software key storage locations, either by checking known file locations or by searching all hard drives for matching filenames. Typically, the file is uploaded to a remote FTP, HTTP, or SMTP server where the thief can extract the keys and steal the coins by signing a transaction, transferring the coins to the thief's Bitcoin/altcoin address. Most cryptocurrency security guides recommend protecting the wallet with a strong passphrase, preventing the thief from decrypting and using the private keys if the file is stolen. To counter this protection, many of the analyzed wallet-stealer malware families use a keylogger or clipboard monitor to obtain the wallet file's passphrase and send it to the thief. Credential stealer Many wallet-stealer families also steal credentials for various web-based wallets, such as Bitcoin exchanges. Some individuals keep a significant amount of bitcoin or other currency in exchanges to trade on price movements. Malware authors are aware of this activity, and many victims have reported that their exchange wallets were emptied without their authorization. In most cases, it is impossible to know exactly what malware was used in the theft, because a full forensic analysis of the victim's hard drive is rarely performed. Many exchanges have implemented two-factor authentication (2FA) using one-time PINs (OTP) to combat unauthorized account logins. However, advanced malware can easily bypass OTP-based 2FA by intercepting the OTP as it is used and creating a second hidden browser window to log the thief into the account from the victim's computer. Simultaneously, the malware displays a fake "authentication failed" message and blocks the victim's access to the website while the thief empties the account. CTU researchers have not observed a verified example of this type of attack against cryptocurrency exchanges. However, this technique has been successfully used against online banking sites for several years, and it is only a matter of time before CCSM uses this approach. Man in the middle CTU researchers have observed at least one family of CCSM that does not exfiltrate wallet files or private keys. Instead, it acts as a "man in the middle," altering the recipient address of a transaction before it is signed. The observed sample runs in the background, monitoring the contents of the clipboard. The malware checks new data in the clipboard for a valid Bitcoin address. If the data is a valid address, the malware replaces it with the thief's Bitcoin address. Victims who do not notice the replacement send the bitcoins to the thief. RPC automation Bitcoin and altcoin "reference client" software includes remote procedure call (RPC) functionality, which allows another program to interact with the wallet software. In many cases, a thief with access to this functionality could connect to a running client on a local TCP port and steal the balance of an unencrypted wallet using only two commands (three if the wallet is encrypted and the malware has obtained the passphrase). CTU researchers have not witnessed any CCSM malware taking advantage of this technique as of this publication. It would be difficult to detect this type of theft from a network standpoint, as the transaction would look like any authorized transaction. Another advantage to this technique is that it requires no external command and control (C2) or exfiltration server that can be shut down or blocked." Be careful out there, other people want your money more than you do!

Slack is not the best thing for those that follow many cc's. It is best to receive our updates and news via this forum. I have not idea why so many project start on this board and then assume it is best to move the majority of discussion to slack. Sure you have a lot of trolls around on the forums but really even self moderated threads with clear rules are better than slack for those that are interested in multiple currencies. If the majority of discussion must move to slack then there should be regular updates here too to avoid looking slack.
" self moderated threads with clear rules are better than slack" Totally agree with you. When I need to see what's going on in a particular project, I usually don't have time to wade through all the Slack posts no matter how well they are organized. Coming here and reading the last posts every day is much easier and keeps me updated without all the BS included in Slack. And, there is nothing wrong with moderated forums as some people think when the project is obviously legitimate, in fact, I, for one, prefer it. Just my 2 cents worth...

For people who swapped BTCD on the ICO site, we will need to wait until you lock your KMD address before REVS can be sent. The REVS address will be the same as the KMD address. Same address, but different blockchains.
How do we lock our KMD address ? You go to the top of this page and read message 3987...

Any ETA for this releases? Long time i can see only promises from Cloakteam.
We will announce the ETA when we ware able to fix the release date! No ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) we dont make promises, thats why i dont tell you an ETA and everything we told you to do, we did. Really? Even One Market? You make me laught! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But as i am telling here since several days... we are nearly ready with the wallet and we will release the wallet and the ETA soon The problem is the testing, if we find a bug, we have to fix it and this need time and can move an ETA to a later date. And then i have funny discussions here, because we promised an ETA... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Really funny discussion, so much bugs here! Cloak team need more and more time to fix it ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Would you rather they release broken software or, take the time to make sure it works the first time out? I'm reading a lot of crap here lately that isn't true, isn't timely or just plain doesn't make sense. If you don't have something constructive to say, shut it and let the team do their thing. CLOAK is good technology and you should all be glad someone picked up the development and ran with it. Myself and many others have been with this project since the beginning and believe me, none of you complaining noobs knows what it's like to truly be scammed. Now that we have a solid team working FOR the project, not just themselves, how about giving more support and less shit? Unless you are trading on every price change, rumor, lie, FUD and just plain stupid made up information, you don't need to know what is happening every minute. A little trust goes a LONG way... Wow, aggressive Cloaker! All people here like this guy? Very sad sight... Aggressive? Not at all. Feed up with worthless, useless trolls like you? Certainly! And yes, you are a very sad sight. Only you can fix that.

ARK logo maker should be arrested and put behind bars for not reading license terms for software distributed under GNU public license, which pertains to linux freeware, applications and operating systems such as Linux Arc whose logo he used for ARC platform.
you should be arrested for being so stupid. get some facts straight before coming out like that dude. He does this shit in every forum he posts in, complete waste of time.

No need to speculate. As KMD is pegged to BTCD by the rate of 50 KMD = 1 BTCD roughly, this gives an indication for the KMD price this minute: BTCD/50 = 0,004BTC/50 = 8k sats. With a total ammount of 100M KMD this results in a marketcap of roughly 8000 BTC or 6,24M USD.
Does this makes sense to you all?
It doesn't make sense and have said it before that the swap scheme was a scam and it is proofing to be so; if I invest 0.11BTC and I was given 825KMD, the ICO price is 1KMD= 13333sat, so for you to come out with your valuation of 8000sat is baffling. You throw the word "scam" around without consideration for the word "liable" Be careful with your accusations. Unless you can show irrefutable proof of illegal activity, I suggest you give it a rest. There is no way to make everyone happy in any of this but, the majority is pleased. Case closed.
