81  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: November 20, 2016, 09:35:26 PM
Not sure about scam but I find a pattern to sites that are looking to cut corners when it comes to costs. Customer support and withdraws are always the first red flags for trouble. Only problem with that is that this site has been known for this issue for a long time and they still kick around the bitcoin gambling sphere.

Think we just need to be aware that some sites operate in a manner that is not congruent to bitcoin.
Sucks but some sites are just slow on the ball and it effects the lower rolled follks more than anyone.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ OFFICIAL THREAD- The Poker Sports Casino Dice Affiliate Community on: November 20, 2016, 09:30:28 PM
To activate promos or bonuses do I need to contact support first?
Was about to deposit but wanted to make sure and asked chat support for the run down. They told me I needed to contact some one before and this seems like a bit of run around if you wanted to play right away, which I did.
So how can I speed this up or make it automatic when I deposit? There has to be a better way of doing this, what am I missing!

Thanks for any help on this,as I have been looking forward to playing on this site forever but was unable to before with a dud of a computer.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't we all just get along? on: November 20, 2016, 07:23:51 PM
The grass is not always greener and you risk potential rift that would shatter a established crypto, its not a as easy as you may think to just apply this solution.
With every move we make with bitcoin we risk isolating more people that do not follow for a multitude of reasons and a fork it a really major alteration to the path we are on.

Its important when discussing we stay clear of black and white thinking,as it shows the biases that block a honest discussion. With any bitcoin discussion so far it seems like this is not something we can achieve without moderation that both sides could agree to. Even then there would be discord with who was chosen!

The unknown for me is to big a problem to just say everything is going to be better,we just do not know that to be fact.
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alex Jones and Trump on: November 20, 2016, 07:08:25 PM
If you throw enough crap at the wall it eventually sticks to the wall and that is the premise for a lot of his theories on the world.
Think about the third hour I think it is,when the average caller gets a chance to relate or impress Alex. Their intelligence is on full display or the broken emotional state is evident among
the listeners. You can not believe everything he says as he himself can get quite unbalanced when discussing issues.
He is a cheaper Glen Beck as he parades around like they are two different people.
85  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin, really. on: November 20, 2016, 06:09:29 PM
Next time id suggest using a vpn, one that don't have shared ip's so you can always use different ip's.
One uses the normal home ip the other uses the vpn, just always use that same connection because you don't really wanna get banned.

That works till the VPN drops and it looks like they are cheating on the site as one player on two accounts.
As a player it bothers me that we are allowing people to go this route and its one of the reasons bitcoin poker can not be taken seriously.

Every site faces the collusion around players from poorer Countries or the guy with 3-20 accounts in a tourney. Till thise can be addressed we will have little in serious action at the tables.
86  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay Away from Cloudbet ( Fraud Sportsbook ) on: November 20, 2016, 06:02:52 PM
Cloudbet was one of the first books I used related to bitcoin and the one issue that made me stop using them was that they took to long to grade wagers.
When they started to have issues with ddos attacks I just decided it was to much a risk of missing future wagers due to waiting on earlier grades.

Was planning to go back and see how the site was working but these issues seem to be old issues that they have still not addressed.

Op I hope you get this sorted out.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin endgame (v1.0 ?) on: November 20, 2016, 05:56:32 PM
Change is constant and to not change would banish the future potential of bitcoin and allow another concept to run with the limelight.
I do find it funny that it seems to be one of the biggest issues that divide us,being change or alterations to bitcoin.
Change is also one of the biggest hurdles in real life for people to adjust to or shut down over,so I guess this issue is just reflecting human nature.

I hope bitcoin does not change for the purpose of change and that each step is well though out,I do except that it is inevitable for bitcoin to evolve.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea, Dubai Move to Regulate Bitcoin on: November 20, 2016, 05:52:11 PM
The Asian Countries seem to want to get into the regulatory aspects and make sure they can keep bitcoin in check.
Its really something I can not get excited about till I see what exactly that means restrictive wise for users in Korea.

Dubai on the other hand seems to be a publicity stunt, rather than anything serious. Just can not imagine a part of the world that treats women like second class humans being able to address bitcoin in a rational manner. I know they are a little more open business wise but, this feels like a stretch.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: What effect did the Trump's (unexpected) victory on BTC? on: November 19, 2016, 11:15:01 PM
Its far to early to tell as the elected President has yet to take office and it is pure speculation driving the market at the current time.
Could even be argued the current movement is based off a total separate issue, its really unclear.

I thought bitcoin was going to dip around this time of the year and was way out to lunch on that but I totally whiffed on factoring the election into the price speculation. Cheesy

What we should look to for hints on bitcoin is any future plans for online gambling in general. If the proper steps are layed out than we can expect a positive push for bitcoin as online poker comes back to America.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two things are certain: Bitcoin and Taxes on: November 19, 2016, 11:10:03 PM
The original layout to this discussion was stating they want bitcoin and I disagree with this. They want the technology it provides for sure,I will not argue this as it does make it easy to tax the people when every aspect is connected to them in a non anonymous way. Taxation currently only comes to those that are caught in the honeypot called Coinbase and it should have been clear for most of us that they where going down this road long ago. So no sudden shakeup and the tax pirates are taking the lowbearing fruit as they say.

Taxation will come in the future but not for bitcoin,it will be replaced with a backdoor driven coin that has no ways of hiding who you are.
The negative interest rate will be walked in hand in hand with the new setup.

Yes there are two things possible either choose bitcoin which is taxless or choose paper money which include taxes. And let's super impose both and make a better system which be reliable, affordable and secure then normal paper currency and online banking system. Money is everything so let's eradicate the barriers from paper currency

I don't think you understand.

What do you think it means to watch the US dollar strengthen against?

Couple this with the proposal to tap into Coinbase accounts to start taxing and you have a Yellow Claw trying to rip you to shreds.

Bitcoin already taxes by the way in the form of transaction fees and exchange fees.

Built right into the system from the beginning.

Also, thinking about the future "taxless" system is fun but reality is that the everyday Joe still can't use Bitcoin to pay his utility and mortgage bills without going back to home currency.

Theory always gets trumped by reality.

You can wave the fee and face a longer wait, that is the price of business and not a ingrained tax system.

The average Joe is still quite unaware of bitcoin,so I do not know how they factor into the discussion of taxation in the future. Unless you are implying that this will be a forced thing and if that is the case I still think it will be another crypto other than bitcoin to push this agenda.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: fortunejack payments are on pending for quite sometime on: November 19, 2016, 10:27:13 PM
They seem to be really caught up in a slow transition to become something that is still unclear. The cash tables are not reasonable levels for most of us and those that are rolled would be uneasy playing against a table of players all from one Country. The dice used to attract me but it was only because it was a nice layout on my cell phone and I found better else where.
There 100 promo never seems to have any players coming back to say thank you that where not bought or new accounts and am not going to bother with it.

The cashouts have been a issue for some time but always seem to be rectified eventually. Personally never ran into any issues with transfers but I was never over .5 btc there.

Hopefully when they roll out a better product they update here in this forum, might check it out but there are a few things that go on in this forum with there signature users that make me pause and think about their optics.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stay clear of NetBet when using bitcoin as a deposit method on: November 19, 2016, 05:48:42 PM
The sites that offer a ton of deposit methods and maybe 3 withdraw options are in my eyes pulling a fast one. Its just another way to sit the customers money and collect interest on it well they wait. Most non bitcoin pokersites work this angle and it always pissed me off having to run through these hoops. I do know that you can use echeck for most of those sites but a hard lesson about connecting any bank details to gambling was learned over a decade ago. Its not a smart path to take if you ever run into issues with government and taxation.

Lesson learned for you I hope, read the rules and check reviews before dealing with a lot of these sites. Bitcoin is just a after thought and a honeypot for some of these more weaker sites.
93  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase asked to provide info from 2013-2015 to IRS. So far they are hedging. on: November 19, 2016, 05:43:52 PM
This is not a shocker at all,Coinbase has gone out of its way to be in line with government and the next step will most likely be a audit of customers to see who holds what. Site should have been run off in the early days but people had to use it.
Always thought it was funny that people that when the lottery or money on game shows lost close to half the amount in taxes in the States.
The warning bells should have been going off for all Americans long before this and this is why people like to stay anonymous. Just drives that issue home once again for those of us that are not wanting to bend over for government regulation.
94  Economy / Gambling / Re: ◥◤ NitrogenSports ◢ Largest & Most Trusted BTC Sportsbook ◣ UCL Promo ◥◤ on: November 19, 2016, 05:36:21 PM
by the way, now my username/password is no good

and since there is no other connection between me and this future of betting website , i cannot retrieve or change my password , like any other site on the internet through email confirmation ( cause there must be anonymous everything)

now hacker have the rest of my account , and i cant do anything about it

If you go to settings you will see you can add a email in case of emergency like needing to confirm your account.
Contact support with as much info as you can about the account(amount in account, last wager(s),frequency of play, last deposit/withdrawl and any other details) and you might be able to get a temp lock on that account till it is sorted out.
Best thing to do is to move quickly and not waste time here.

The few times I have seen people state this issue, they have been new accounts here and that does not hold much weight for the plight.

96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the fate of Bitcoins in the hands of government coins on: November 18, 2016, 07:30:30 PM
This is a serious issue in some Countries and always a little more troubling when I hear it coming from the U.K due to other Countries adopting similar rules after they have been tested there. Not to worried about Canada unless it copycats and I say this because their last attempt was brutal and failing.

As for putting the death nail in bitcoin,I do not think it will. It may attract a small group but I suspect it will have overlap and mostly new users if government pushes these coins on the masses. Those of us that believe in bitcoin will stay and those that are more nefarious or freedom loving will also shun government interest.

But I do worry about potential regulations in a mafia type sense that would push bitcoin into a corner and make it hard to use.

Think the Canadian version was called MintChip:

http://business.financialpost.com/news/fp-street/canadian-mint-pushes-ahead-in-murky-world-of-crypto-currency-with-mintchip-project

And a few years later:
 Grin Grin

http://blogs.wsj.com/canadarealtime/2014/04/04/canada-puts-halt-to-mintchip-plans-could-sell-digital-currency-program/

Quote
Canada’s experiment with creating its own digital currency appears to be over.

The Royal Canadian Mint said Friday it’s halting development of its fledgling MintChip digital currency program and is now looking to sell the business.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India is Paying $900+ for Bitcoin Amid Cash Crisis on: November 18, 2016, 07:20:19 PM
India seems to be the new flavor of the moment when it comes to bitcoin related articles.
As a outsider the optics seem to appear like India is quickly pushing for more transparent banking and wanting to push a few issues all at the same time, creating havoc and the look like potential restrictions coming down the pipe.

The problem I have with this story is it seems to be a hype article pointing to the price and a new flavor that people are watching for bitcoin manipulation. It
used to be China but looks like India is picking up steam as they look to make some big alterations to the country. Honestly think India is a amazing Country
to have so many things related bubbling at the same time.

Going back to when China had similar moves like mentioned here in the responses,I recall people getting caught off guard and having funds locked in Chinese exchanges. So before you go wading into the Indian markets make sure you are able to handle a potential issue like that and not get caught with all your cookies in one jar.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 18, 2016, 06:33:05 PM
The North American Indians used to use clam shells as currency,so to think bitcoin is not going to feel any strife is crazy.
Time and change are constant and value changes with each generation,so lets not use such strong language about bitcoin never this or that because we have no clue what the future brings.
Take any kids trend and you think it has a strong hold on the system (Furbies,Pokemon, etc.) and yet they all go away. Not saying bitcoin is a kids toy but the mindset of a child needing a popular toy is the same extent the bitcoin will never fail crowd are coming at the issue.

Governments around the world are looking at putting up walls or tearing them down when it comes to trade/relations and bitcoin could easily get snared in the process.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Boulevard: 25 Shops in Paris Ready to Accept Bitcoin For Payment on: November 18, 2016, 06:26:43 PM
Its great that places are excepting bitcoin as payment, where the disconnect comes is actually transacting. If anyone has gone to a gas station to pick up giftcards or paper receipts toward online payment, you know that the cashiers are the wall. If they do not know how to transact they will make a lame attempt at saying they either do not have that or its down at the moment. So as others will come in and say thats great for bitcoin,I actually would like to see the progress in action.

Not a slag but lot of the time the traction we get is fleeting, when its here today gone tomorrow.

After reading the article I have to say,I like the idea of a bitcoin corridor. People will enter the zone and see it everywhere and may not ask in the first shop but gain the courage to interact in the fourth or fifth store. The atm can get them in the game on the way in or out of the zone, like this concept a lot.

I’m contacting you regarding your review http://www.bitcoingg.com/bitcoin-online-gambling/fortunejack/ where you will see that your ranking is 9.30 out of 10.  Not a bad score you may think, but there is a way for it to be improved.

Let me add that this costs your brand nothing except a few minutes of your time.

I did send an email through to you before about this and the BGG Certificate of Trust as it’s for the benefit of the players to be able to leave a review and see how to contact you.  Take a look at mbitcasino.com to see the BGG Cert of Trust in their footer plus all their player reviews, this is what I would like yours to be.

Please drop me a PM.
Thanks, Chris

Did they reply to the email? Why are you posting here? Apart from trying to advertise your site? Who would even trust your certification anyway, isn't it a way for you to grab affiliate profits?

Was wanting to see if Fortunejack responded before giving any response on that post myself.
It read like a open attempt to except a bribe to endorse their site with a higher score,so I wanted to see the reply back first.

They are a quite trusted site on this forum already and no need to get a trust score from your site because I don't think anyone can believe private site score so easily and gamble on this site. First, you need to prove that how someone can trust your site rankings are correct or not?

Not arguing with the comment about the score but I think they do lack in open communication in this thread. If they do not want to step in and answer questions they should not have a thread set up to take customer feedback and queries in my opinion.
