81  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to start trading? on: November 19, 2023, 01:56:33 PM
There are certain precautions you must take when choosing an exchange to trade with. Whether you choose a decentralized or centralized exchange for trading, security matters more. It should be remembered that if you choose a centralized exchange but do not pay attention to security issues, you will be facing a big threat.
As with the ability to trade, I feel the DEX with their top DEX platform, like Bitcoin and Pancake, Ethereum and Uniswap, will have a huge advantage. The platform provides a way to trade anonymously and escape government monitoring. There will also be a greater number of coins on the platform than on the CEX. Choosing a CEX depends on a country's residence and the future viability of fiat-crypto exchanges.
82  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is Nigeria a failed project ? on: November 19, 2023, 01:06:07 PM
Good one brotherly, Nigeria as a whole isn't the first nation to experience this kind of setback but what makes these other nations better is the fact they actually worked towards a solution to this upsets that were going on, so as a country we are all task on making Nigeria one way or the other we all have our role to play. And complaining without action is certainly not the way to go about it
Nigeria's economy faces the main challenge of leadership, and so many years have been lost that put us behind. These first world countries do not have 70% of what we have in terms of weather, human resources, arable land, natural resources, etc. Political corruption is the main challenge facing these leaders, and it has been so lucrative that everyone wants to be part of it. There have been so many unproductive years, and we need leaders who can take us in the right direction despite the terrible global economic relationship we have with First World nations.
83  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account Frozen Due to Suspicion of Money Laundering on: November 19, 2023, 03:04:49 AM
The exchange  is telling you to deposit more coins? That is not likely BitMart because BitMart is not a scam exchange and only scammers can do this. I think you are using a fake exchange. What is the URL link to the fake exchange that you are talking about?
Although I am not a user of Bitmart, this accusation seems absurd to me  because the exchange one of the top exchanges. It would be preferable if you provided a screenshot or other proof of the message
84  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken Warns Users: Your Bitcoin Trading Data Is Headed to the IRS on: November 19, 2023, 02:58:06 AM
Unfortunately, Kraken did not build a larger customer base beyond North America, like Binance, which they can fall to, so I think they will struggle. There should be a lot of money invested in decentralised exchanges and larger users with the attack on CEX
85  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Does Food Cost in Your Country? on: November 18, 2023, 02:52:08 PM
Both uncooked and cooked food prices are at the highest in Canada. In contrast to the last five years before Covid, 100 CAD is not enough for someone to live on in a month. Governments are doing everything they can to help the less fortunate with many food banks across the country.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Impersonation and spoofing of crypto related companies on Twitter on: November 17, 2023, 09:39:41 AM
Impersonation is becoming increasingly difficult to deal with. They provide everything necessary; similar twitter account, website, telegram handle, even coin with similar features. I would recommend that one not rush into putting funds, but instead take time to research (compare sites and browse online). You can search known websites such as coingecko and coinmarket, and then follow the link from the website.
87  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Colleges still refuse to apologize for promoting violence against me. on: November 17, 2023, 02:50:13 AM
You don't explain how you defend this opinion in this post, and I don't know what is your point. There is a reason why I would ever consider a PhD, and this reason is not cited. I don't understand why a PhD is better and how you can obtain one without the aforementioned degree. It was essential to have knowledge from those stages to be able to complete a PhD program successfully.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you bet on when your league is in break? on: November 17, 2023, 02:09:50 AM
There is no doubt that the majority of Asians and North Americans are not football fans. They watch sports such as ice hockey, cricket, basketball, and baseball. It is evident that these games are extremely popular and make money for gamblers, but one might need to conduct more research into this new field of play.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: November 16, 2023, 12:37:18 PM
Does this really exist? I have seen many shared links in my handles that I have not responded to. Can the rewards be cashed out safely and without phishing?
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: November 16, 2023, 02:01:45 AM
The future of BNB is something to worry about. BUSD will be off the market very soon, what will be the next exit for Binance chain project because some governments are after him. At the moment the blockchain company is one of the best chain in the market and has build such a strong business empire around the brand with many decentralized exchange, top CEX, BNB transaction numbers and the rest
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: November 16, 2023, 01:56:18 AM
I don't think little return on investment is the best thing to describe investing in bitcoin right now because 35k is so low for me given how high bitcoin was the last time. That something you are thinking right now is probably just you being judgemental about other people's choice during the current price and there is nothing wrong with that, you are probably thinking that they are not getting their money's value or that they might be buying at the wrong time due to the possibility of the bitcoin price going down.
Ask anyone who has been involved with cryptocurrency investments for a long time about the big return on investment. There is nothing that compares to cryptocurrency ROI. A lot of comparisons need to be done from the first bull market to now, and the difference with return needs to be evaluated. In this case, I do not judge people's choices, it's just a simple piece of advice that I express as my own. The return on investment is relative and for most billionaire, 2x to 3x is enough for them, which they may not still get anywhere else.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: November 15, 2023, 10:57:59 AM
There's something about investing fully into bitcoin at this current price that makes me feel like it's for rich people who want minimal risk and very little return on investment.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 15, 2023, 10:54:09 AM
My advice to new traders is
1. Make sure you invest what you can afford to lose and start with the smallest amount possible
2. Look for new coins with good partners, such as top exchanges and well-known investors
3. Research every coin adequately and go for a project with proper valuations and a shorter roadmap that can not trap your investments beyond the expected bull market
4. To be in a safe position, invest more in coins before Bitcoin halving and maybe 2 months after
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get scammed by this, specially newcomers. on: November 15, 2023, 02:40:36 AM
As far as I am concerned, this is not a new scam pattern, it is an old one. It is best to search very thoroughly for any fraudulent scam attempt involving cryptocurrency that is suspected, there is a high probability that it has already been reported. Some people might find it difficult to deal with cryptocurrency wallet hijacking and phishing due to its very high rate.
95  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin Investment in Nigeria on: November 15, 2023, 02:31:52 AM
I get some kind reservations about some of your points, especially when you talk about recommending real estate for Naija. I believe say you suppose look am well well again. Right now, real estate dey struggle against USDT, so why you go come compare am with Bitcoin wey dey perform better against USDT? Abeg, hold your dollar tight pass as well as ina bitcoin, at least until next year. Na my sincere talk for now.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: November 14, 2023, 01:51:11 AM
Have news with BNB exactly their stable coins BUSD will remove? its true or not because last days I see with my Facebook friend list sharing with removing BUSD to other stable coins. Although Binance have many stable coins pair but looks bad impact actually for Binance exchange and their coin exchange BNB will drop drastically.
CZ need to give good news to make their member in positive mindset because many of them worry with Binance will follow FTX become collapse exchange in the future? many traders still active trading with Binance and they need positive respond from CZ to make them keep believing Binance is the best exchange and not impact yet with many bad news from SEC against with Binance.
Am still looking for more answers on this if anyone can provide. I like to know when exactly BUSD will be removed. Not neccesarilily the exact date just maybe months in between the removal. Am so sad this has to get to this while American politics and power prevail because it is coming from someone that is not their Citizen. And the baby country Canada is doing nothing to set themselves free from America.

98  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the fall of Elon Musk's empire imminent? on: October 19, 2023, 10:15:48 PM

He's a billionaire. Twitter was just less than a billion and he is a BTC investor who is also fighting against the SEC, we're not seeing him fall. If anyone sees the first his Tesla price is falling, it's him. and He may have done something already before that happened. Since he is a BTC investor as well, he could be taken advantage of all these too.

But he folds by the way when the EU threatened his Twitter to be blocked in the region. Not so much of a rebel that he wants to portray.
This billionaire attachment to his name for an abstract value that is only in the stock market of his company is a distraction and confusion. Unfortunately, I dont think he will be able to defend his position as the CEO of the company making entrerprising decision for the company as twitter gets more unattractive to users.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 08, 2023, 03:15:24 PM
It's just normal to commit mistakes while trading. Mistakes are the best foundation in order to become a good trader.

Repeated mistakes should be taken as a priority and always find a way to solve a mistake or problem.

Newbies should not be discouraged by their losses. Even professional traders are losing nowadays. They just need to remain focus and disciplined.
I believe that some people tend to equate cryptocurrency trading with gambling, which isn't entirely accurate. Gambling typically isn't structured for players to consistently win, whereas cryptocurrency trading offers a more structured pathway to potential profits. With the right timing and responsible management of greed, it's possible to multiply your investment in a good cryptocurrency. In fact, many investors in Bitcoin, for example, have historically seen returns that eventually recoup their initial investments.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 08, 2023, 03:08:18 PM

The advantages you outlined for centralized exchanges outweigh the drawbacks associated with decentralized exchanges. I'm not sure if this was intended to divert users' attention from decentralized exchanges, but I believe that decentralized exchanges are more appealing to both large and small traders. Personally, I believe that the development of multi-chain decentralized exchanges will be a significant advancement over centralized exchanges in the future.
