But, normally for one lunch at my place, if it's standard, around $2 is complete, 4 healthy, 5 perfect. I want to share my meal cost in my country. If we cook everything at home, a standard meal costs around $1.5 per person. But if I buy the same food from a standard restaurant, the same meal costs around $3.5-$5. That includes Rice, water, beef, fish and some sauce and salad.

The living cost depends on in which city you are in. It starts from $20 up to $500. Standard houses in the capital city cost around $300.

Yes, that's right, food prices in each region depend on the minimum income of that region. In Indonesia, food prices are quite cheap because the basic price of food ingredients is also cheap. This is because the average income is small. so the ratio between income and expenditure is balanced. I can't imagine what it would be like if the price of food here was the same as in America while the income earned was quite small, it would make it difficult for someone to survive. so everything has been arranged according to its respective measurements. Do you mean they get 50$-70$ monthly with no free day every week? I just know this, as far as I know I never found this in my area. I think it is too severe, 50$-70$ monthly doesn't deserve for the payment of full week jobs.

I think there is no standard prices of food or drinks. It is just the average price for common foods or drinks. However, food $1.5 and drinks $0.5 are still quite affordable. But I assume it is not in the big city, it should more expensive for the prices of common foods or drinks in a big city.

Actually, my country is not doing well, inflation is also happening. Prices of goods are increasing due to fuel increases. In the country where I live, most people live in poverty. In my country the price of all things starting from food is relatively high. Is this in Indonesia as well? I'm quite surprised because here in PH some areas has the same scenario as this. They were called the Labors, those individuals who barely finished their secondary educations, they work for small business man with that same range of salary and a free 1 meal per day (launch meal).
I don't know how these people survived, but they actually do, and they seemed happy and contented with their financial status. So, therefore I conclude that no matter how low your salary is, a person could still find a way how to survive. The same goes with the people who has high salaries, they tend to survive with tons of lons and financial responsibilities.

Both uncooked and cooked food prices are at the highest in Canada. In contrast to the last five years before Covid, 100 CAD is not enough for someone to live on in a month. Governments are doing everything they can to help the less fortunate with many food banks across the country.

That's true and usually the price table released by the government will be different from events in the field and food prices in an area will definitely vary quite a bit. In my area the price of one pack of rice is not more than $2 and that is luxurious enough for one meal, the standard of food may differ from one person to another and the custom for people who have an average income is the UMP. The price I mentioned above is considered a luxury standard for them to eat because in my area almost the average person who sells one pack of rice is not more than that, except there are some special places that sell wrapped rice above the price I mentioned above

But when we try to buy ingredients and manage the food ourselves at home, the price can increase or decrease depending on the price of basic necessities in the market. The income is probably still in the range of $200k for the average person in the area where I live and it also depends on how they can make money somewhere other than their regular workplace.
