Hi,
Is there any correlation in Memory Clock with Share found on Claymore miner for ETH (Eth-only). I have observed that when I set Memory Clock to 2100 on RX 580 (factory OCed) the Share found got bit less.
So just curious about any possible correlation between two.
Thanking you in anticipation and looking forward.

Hi,
It was going fine after Claymore -ethi 6 and -eres 0 setting in .bat file. Six straight hours without some issue.
I just tested with some undervolting of GPUs using Sapphire Trixx.
The Claymore gave some message that GPU0 doing 0 hash due to overclocking.
I disabled the overvolting and reset the defaults in Trixx.
Now both GPUs (I have two) are being detected in the Claymore. But GPU0 is giving 0 hash rate and Windows 10 is restarting after some time.
The virtual memory 16 GB.
I plugged off and in the risers too.
I believe and hope that there is no physical damage of card.
Would be grateful if you give me some clue or solution for this issue.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Rizwan

Hi,
Not OK! Same issue. The rig operated for 4.5 hours and was down was the last 4.5 hours.
Is syncing of Windows Themes a possible cause?
|

everything looks fine there. Are you using riser cables? Do you have any spares that you can swap on GPU0?
Thanks. I am experiencing some stability for the last three hours are so. Previously I pointed Claymore to us-east and now asia (my continent). Seems that was the major reason. Still monitoring. Also put -r 1 in place but rig haven't restarted as yet. Note:On Claymore its maintaining: GPU0 t=61C fan=58% GPU1 t=58C fan=57% [I have two GPUs] On Afterburner setting are:Core Voltage mV: untouched Power Limit %: +0 Temp. Limit C: 85 Core Clock MHz: 1411 Memory Clock MHz: 2000 Fan Speed %: 45 How are these number?

Hi,
I have created account with you. I have one wallet for ETH and mined on nanopool and ethermine pool.
It is showing zero balance but I have ~0.00765727 ETH. Why so?
Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation.

I want to know is there are way I can check consolidated balance of generated ETH (nanopool + ethermine).
Hi Use the online tool https://mycryptostats.comYou have a dashboard which calculates balances with wallets and pools Thanks. It is showing zero balance but I have 0.00765727 ETH. Why so?

Hi,
A very stupid question indeed but need to know:
I have a ETH wallet created from geth.
I started mining with nanopool.
Then I decide to stop nanopool and start with ethermine. By mining both pools (at one time) some coins (fraction of coin) will be generated.
I want to know is there are way I can check consolidated balance of generated ETH (nanopool + ethermine).
Thanking you in anticipation and looking forward.

Hi,
Can I use Afterburner for OC, Memory clock, and fans AND Trixx for Undervolting at the same time? [Reason: I cannot enable Afterburner Core Voltage mV control].
Would AB and Trixx (both/at the same time) handle the GPUs based on parameters set on them without any conflict or issue?
Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi,
There is a strange behavior.
After rig was running for less than two hours I noticed that the monitor was off. There was no response on clicking mouse. When clicked on keyboard the GPUs fans started spinning but nothing on monitor. After couple of minutes there was a message that Windows 10 encountered error and will restart. After restart Claymore got executed but GPU0 showing 0 hash rate and the miner got stuck on POOL/SOLO version.
GPU0 status: t=60C fan=53% GPU1 status: t=54C fan=52%
Did hard reset and after that things got normal.
Any idea/clue about this strange behavior?
Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation.

Can you tell us what GPUs are you using? Are they over or under clocked? Did you modify the BIOS (AMD cards)? What kind of PSU are you using? And finally, post your Claymore BAT file you are using. Hi, GPU = 2x RX 580 (factory Overclocked) BIOS modifications = No PSU = Corsair HX1200i BAT file:setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-asia1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xWALLET_ADDRESS -epsw x -mode 1 -allpools 1

Hi,
Do you remotely monitor your rig? If so then what tools do you use. My rig would be unattended in day time in office hours and I want GPU status, temps, fans %/speed to be sent to me.
Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation.

Worry about adding more air circulation if you see over 84C. 74 is well within a safe threshold for a 580.
Circulation is there. There is 1 1/2 inch gap between GPUs. Overhead fan is running. Room is not fully closed. At 74C I adjusted fans speed in Afterburner at 45% and right now temps are 58C/~1800 RPM and 52C/~1800 RPM for GPU1 and GPU2. Do you suggest to revert to old setting when fans were at 25% and temps on 74C-75?

Thanks. Just to check I have set at fans at 47%. Its giving: GPU1: 52C / 1870 RPM GPU2: 58C / 1906 RPM Can you please share some link on optimization correlation of speed vs. temp vs. RPM so that I wont be giving trouble to you guys Regards, Rizwan

Hi,
Setup: 2x RX 580 factory OC and not undervolted, AsRock H81 R2.0, Nanopool, Claymore miner
Rig has been running for few hour now. Have noticed:
a) Rig got hanged once and I had to physically reset the machine.
b) GPU fan speed is ~ 43 for GPU 1 and ~ 26 for GPU 2.
c) The constant temperature of each GPU is 74C. Sometimes it goes to 75C but never beyond that. Would be grateful if you let me know if that is a permissible temperature?
Thanks and regards,
Rizwan
ya know if you looked at wattman or any other OC software you would have found out what the running temp is for rx 580 instead of coming on here like some danm noob asking stupid fucking questions that you could have answered yourself fucking swear people are fucking lazy as shit LOLZ.. Have a glass of cold water and sit down if you are standing or lie-down if you are sitting

Hi, Today I have managed to setup the rig and its hitting the block. Right now started with just 2x RX 580 but will increase the capacity by ALLAH's wish. Have to do optimization to increase the performance/hash rate and decrease power consumption. I am really very thankful for your help and support. It was never possible without you!Best regards, Rizwan

Hi,
I installed the AMD blockchain driver, both GPUs were shown in the Device Manager as RX 580.
I noticed that after booting Windows 10, both GPUs are OFF. Fans not spinning and GPU lights are OFF. Still both GPUs are shown in the Device Manager.
Please let me know whats the issue? Is that related to that warning about powering 4-pin to motherboard?
Regards,
Rizwan

Hi, I plugged in the GPUs again (because I was checking with one by one detection of the GPUs, now all [both] plugged in) and there was a message on boot that put 4-pin Molex power on the motherboard. Press N to ignore. I ignored the message and Windows 10 started. I immediately shut down the machine and thought of asking from the community. The only thing I did before was just the setting of Primary Graphics Adapter as Onboard. The machine was powering with GPUs before without that message and I am just wondering the impact if I ignore this message. May be its due to Primary Graphics Adapter=Enabled but I am not sure. Note: I am using powered risers and two risers share a single cable. Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation. Regards, Rizwan

When you boot up your system for the first time, the GPU will be displayed as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. This will indicate that the system has recognized the GPU plugged in the system and after you install the dedicated driver for that GPU, It'll display as RX 580 in Device Manager.
Thank you. One related question: Should I plug in both GPUs (currently I have two) and install the driver or install one-by-one i.e. plugging in first install driver and then plugging in second and install driver? Secondly, do I have to install the driver from executing the .exe file or from the Device Manager individually by right clicking on the device entry? For two cards, there is no difference (except for time) that you put in the card system together or separately. Nuances can be used when installing 4+ cards. On the drivers: if it is exclusively mining then it's easier to install the driver from the *.inf file. In this case, no additional software will be installed (Control Center, HDMI audio). If for a full-fledged work, it's better to install from the *.exe file. I got only the .exe file from this link: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-Blockchain-Compute-Release-Notes.aspxAfter its launch it will offer to unpack on the C: drive *.INF files would be about on such a link C:\AMD\Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug11\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF OK got it, thanks. Do I have install individually for each card? Yes, per card. What coin do you plan to mine? BIOS's modified? For ETH with forks, this will increase the hashrate. Here's a useful topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0Thank you very much. - I plan to mine ETH and other (if possible right now). - BIOS is not modified. I want to make the machine running and after that will get into performance enhancements and fine tuning.
