After coins stake and earn interest, is it necessary to manually send these coins back to yourself to restart the aging process, or does that happen automatically?
Automatic Awesome! Is that a feature of the original release, or has it been added since the original release? Many explanations about staking are very confusing in this regard. Once you mint a stake, it comes back to your wallet as a new transaction after 520 confirmations. It's always been like that.

What if it rains??
We have a covered entry way so it would not matter...

I must say, these are very tempting offers. But I went ahead and took my chances by setting them up. If I come back from work tomorrow and my wife put them out at the front door I will have to reconsider all offers...

I'll Give You 3500 For All 5. Pm Me.
Not at this time, thanks.

How long have they been mining for? are or were they ever overclocked?
depending on those factors i may offer you 3.5 BTC for all 5 which includes shipping.
As you are well aware there are brand new ones available at very low prices and new units are most probably going to come out very soon?, and for used gear it's a crap shoot.
thanks!!
These are brand new, never been used. 1.37BTC is what I paid and bitmain dropped the price while they were in transit. I am going to set them up tonight though pending any other serious offers.

I mihgt be interested in one if a current deal I'm in doesn't work out. What would shipping to mainland EU cost me? I'm in the Netherlands.
I think fastest Fedex is around $100. If you want to PM me your Zip code I can get the exact rates.

I have 5 AntMiners S1 for sale. 1.37BTC or PPC equivalent at current BTC-E PPC/BTC rate. You pay for shipping of your choice & escrow fees if you want escrow. Local pickup from Tucson is available & cash is OK if picking up in person. I can help you setup and OC if needed, but OC will void the 90 day warranty. PM or post if interested.

As always very good guide. Unfortunately as of today these are a bit over priced, delivering around 300GHs at 1020W for 4.5BTC. 180GHs Ants at 360W are only 1.37BTC now.

I have it in hand and currently mining.
It averages 1.5 TH/s on the pool I am on. Averages over 1.6 in the Cointerra dashboard.
I can get it ready to ship quickly. Asking for somewhere around $12,000 USD cash or BTC equivalent. PM me any offers and we can work out the details.
Thanks!
So ANTMiners do the same 1.6TH for about $7K, are you really stuck on the $12K price? What Antminers are you buying? Last I checked they were pulling 200 gh/s overclocked and were $1200. AntMiners are 1.45BTC so 1.45*8 Ants * 555 *AVG BTC price) = $6438 so it's less than $7K

Off topic.
I have just been robbed , just about all my Coins in my QT wallet have gone.
Status: 312 confirmations Date: 16/02/2014 03:43 To: 1JJewUpXpBHNDWVqzkKk7kWa7pQzRGfzpG Debit: -11.24 BTC Transaction fee: -0.0006 BTC Net amount: -11.2406 BTC Transaction ID: df776f8492caaee7004594f9e8b399342e24ce7febd8b79621ac7ded958b78ba
Question how can this Happen if my Wallet is Encrypted , With a very long password.
It must have been a keylogger trojan. Look through some recent programs you installed. Is it on Windows or MAC? Whatever it is, they still have access to that PC...

Can anyone explain or help me get a higher hash rate for this miner? both my others are ~175 I had this problem, mixed and matched one of my pci express cords from a higher PSU to one of the blades being connected with the lower psu, i thought it fixed the ~140ish, but anyone have any idea how to fix this'? One more question, I have two miners on a 750w corsair, and one miner on a 520w dynex (temporary) once in a while, the miner still, make second long beeps 3-4 seconds apart, green light blinkds, not flashes like when mining. what does this mean? It does not sound like no internet so I do not know Sad I would just run the main blade to see if it runs at 90GHs on the good PSU, if it does disconnect and run the second blade only on the same good PSU (swap the ribbon cables). If they both run at 90GHs you know it's the PSU if one does not you will have to troubleshoot that blade.

Is it possible to view the cgminer console while the ant is running? I dont see a screen, so I am assuming not, but wanted to ask if it is possible.
What are you looking for? Most of the cgminer info is under Miner Status Tab on the ant.

last question is 41-43 c good temp .
does it matter if I drop temp to 35-38 c
I have lots fans so adding more fans is not an issue.
If you drop the temps it might improve on hashing a bit. But I've read somewhere that the critical temp for these is above 75C, but running below 50c is best.

Pool & website seem down.
It's running fine. How are you connecting?
|
|
|
what is the power down procedure?
Just turn off the PSU, move the gear and turn it on. I would also recommend that you setup a failover pool (IE bitminter or whatever) so if your main one has a hiccup, the miner is still making some BTC

Have you decided? I could buy it right out or trade up my Cooler Master GX - 650W 80 PLUS Bronze. I also have an Enermax 750W Gold but it came of off avalon batch 1 and has only motherboard connection, 2 CPU connections and 4 PCIE connections on 2 cables. You can PM me if you have formulated any offers. Keep in mind that they are $346.05 new on amazon.

Ok guys I have asked this question before but got no response so I decided to show you what I mean: Any explanation from the Antminer gurus why my NOT OVERCLOCKED Antminer hits these speeds? I am not saying I am not happy but, Is this going to cause a problem to my miner? Please let me know. Thank you Look at the average rather than the current speed and it shows to be running at good speed. It will go up and down due to pool or even internet connection but as long as you are happy with the speeds and there is no x's on the chips then you are all good. Which chip sped are you currently on ? Just to double check 375 is default What do u mean chip speed? I did not overclock. The only modification I did was to disable NTPD as I was getting errors and wouldn't connect. Also if you notice, apart from the speeds my score is usually the same, sometimes it goes higher to 0.004 but also down to 0.002 Most pools calculate your speed based on submitted shares and some specific time (usually 30-60 minutes) and that's what it shows. look at your 1day average that's closer to true speed. Also if you look at you antminter directly it will show you your current hushing speed and average that's closer to its current performance.
