81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Tixl - 🔐Private. 🚀Instant. 💸Zero-fees. on: January 03, 2020, 09:34:31 AM
@Bowtiesarecool we provide regular updates on the latest developments and our activities on Medium:
https://medium.com/tixlcurrency

In addition, we will have further Testnet releases in 2020, so that Tixl can already be tested further and we also receive early feedback.
So it won't be quiet until the Mainnet release, even though we are currently no longer focusing on marketing that much.

We are looking forward to release the next Testnet version "Blankenese" Smiley

Thanks for the pointers though I'm subscribed to the newsletter and my assumption is I'll be getting updates fed to me via email rather than chasing down medium posts randomly.

Approximately, how many testnets do you think you'll be deploying before mainnet and are we likely to get post-mortem report on the testnet performances and issues?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Spectre.ai information - Trading platform now LIVE! on: January 02, 2020, 09:35:08 PM
Token is trading on $0.2-$0.22 on exchanges when the real price should be $0.6. Team is not interested on listing the token on real big exchanges. On the telegram group, only gifs are being shared and the token has been delisted from one exchange recently. If you ask questions, nobody answers.

It's extremely hard to list dividend-paying tokens on top exchanges due to the fact that dividend feature is more or less a security label and exchanges don't want to get in hot water for listing a token that pays out "profit". Not until security token exchanges start taking off like nash, smartvalor, mt pelerin and the likes before we can start seeing these class of tokens gain more exposure
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Redux Token Launch erc20(RDX) on: January 02, 2020, 03:53:23 PM
Introducing Redux Token

Redux Token is a utility token aimed at resolving some key issues that come with the standard Crypto mime. One of its unique features is an automatic burn on each transaction made. Burn rate is continued until the total supply is 500,000 tokens. Initial supply is only 5 million and further restrictions on sells are design to give much needed growth without any diluting effects. The goal is to at least maintain value and provide a psychological barrier against selling. learn more at https://goredux.com

ICO details:
There isn't one.The goal here is to avoid the many of problems with ICOs. Limited amounts of RDX will be sold weekly with the price
based on set percentages above the fair market price. This prevents the project from getting the cash up front and bailing out or falling short on expectations. It also promotes organic growth of the project and forces participation of the parties involved. The burn and fee provide incentive to be successful. The fee schedule ensures there cannot be income to the project unless there is usage of the coin. That Forces continued development. The burn provides incentive to hold the coins rather than sell and in theory, positive bid force(price appreciation).

Exchanges
We are live on Forkdelta https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x792a229b8d6e48fb42dc6914bb181ce8a6b5a317-ETH

We are looking more exchanges but we will not pay to play. We cannot due to the limitation on sales amounts. We would not be able to enforce the restrictions on a third party. If an exchange Geoblocks ip addresses, we would prefer that you not list us.

Disclaimer : Redux Token is not a security or commodity, no assets are connected to the token. It is a utility token constructed for future use.

Yet another deflationary token purporting to solve a mining problem... Amazing when folks can't tell their coin from their tokens while claiming they are the next best thing since halving bitcoin.

And that disclaimer... disclaimers don't do nothing these days if you don't have a legal review from a recognized jurisdiction
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Fuzzy.One introduces FLEx (ERC20) on: January 02, 2020, 11:17:00 AM
Fuzzy.one is a new venture aimed at building up a comprehensive library of supply chain solutions. The site is free for all to visit and pays all subscribers and contributors in FLEx tokens. The FLEx token is already mined and capped and is in the process of being listed. The actual listing will take place when the first 1,000 subscribers have joined.

No tokenomics, no literature, no team info, no token info... basically nothing for the most basic of all DD. Even the "site" mentioned has no link to it to check it out.

I don't get the rush. It's not like if you "fail" to post the ANN today, the board will suddenly vanish or your token will fail to exist. Why not take the time to do what is worth doing well, well enough... that's if it's worth anything in the first place
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Tixl - 🔐Private. 🚀Instant. 💸Zero-fees. on: January 01, 2020, 09:08:45 PM
The road to the much-vaulted mainnet starts now, I guess. The recent testnet launch and web wallet support was quite the appetizer, but I'm worried how the team will be able to sustain community interest in the project over the course of a year - hoping some sort of testing phase will be open to the community down the line to try out the network
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VeraExchange - New Era Of Exchange 🚀🚀🚀 on: January 01, 2020, 01:30:10 PM
Hmm ... now is the best time to purchase a coin👍 because after the launch of the platform its price will clearly take off again🚀.  2x per day is not bad, and keep on.
who can confirm it all? because the current project is still worrying for investors and I'm sure they will be more careful with projects that are established because of too many scams

I have been lately studying this project but disappointed to find that the price is dumped to as low as 7 Sat. Anyone know if the project is working as per the timelines and is there plan of any other exchange, other than Yobit ?
Also when will the VeraExchange be live ?

The international group on telegram has morphed into a ru language one. Had to decipher a thing there without running it by a translator. However, the almost a month-old pinned message by one of the team members claimed they are still active on the project and as soon as news is ready, they will communicate: https://t.me/veraexchange/7132

Meanwhile, enjoy the silence

What sort of divorce are we talking about here? Bear market divorce? Shitcoin bagging divorce? Or just the classic "liquidated the kids' trust fund to buy ETH at the top and we all are future-rich"  parting of ways?

Wen DivorceDex?
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | DUSK Network | Privacy-oriented blockchain for Digital Securities! on: December 31, 2019, 06:33:41 PM
To be fair, this question has been asked a million times in the telegram and they can't answer (because of the legal reasons i assume).
Imho, they shouldn't have teased about the partners at all. I am happy that i know something is coming, but rumors affect the price and when they don't get followed by anything they create fud.

Agreed. They shouldn't have, but I've seen this happen with the best of intention and undue amount of pressure which you referred to - question asked a million times and some people staking the whole of their existence on having it answered and criticizing/spreading FUD about the project all because it wasn't answered. Hard to not cave in.

To the newbie above. Do attach reference links to your claims. Like the one I'm now attaching to your claim that dusk has no utility:

"Wrt the dynamics of STO fundraising, and to expand on Mels' explanation, Dusk's proposition is closely related to smart issuance and global asset ledger. We understand the theoretical appeal of imposing Dusk as currency for fundraising. However, in the vast majority of simulations we run, it turns out that such imposition would be quite impractical (and even potentially leading to regulatory issues, given the  high volatility that sudden price movements would introduce) for the (regulated) primary market. Instead, alongside with the options of fundraising in Dusk (for a premium) or fiat, issuers are required to stake large amounts of Dusks in order to finance fees for on chain operations. Aside from that, any governance operation (dividend payments, voting, proxy voting, audits, dematerialization, bulletin, plus all other fees coming from dapps focusing on securities) is carried in Dusk. We are also working on a Dusk backed stablecoin, but it is far too premature to elaborate on it"
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XSL] Solo - A secure, private, untraceable pool resistant cryptocurrency on: December 31, 2019, 06:25:56 PM
Even after the updates mentioned above for this project, nothing has changed in terms of trading performance. The last buy order at southxchange was dec 2. And no buy order even at 1 sat. All at sell orders.

If you are a miner, do you think you will jump on this? I don't think so. The Solo Dev team should come up with another marketing plan to gain traders of this coin.

I see the buy/sell order chart above shows that there is no interest in the buying wall and too many coins accumulate in the selling wall, I think it will be difficult to make a bullish move.

such a discouragement to all miners. at least buy order or 1-10 sats would make a difference. but theres nothing. i dont think this can revive its glory.
bullish move? maybe we can call it a miracle move instead?
any encouraging statement from the dev team?

Unlikely to see a revival here or even encouragement. The entire crypto market's not too encourage these days, the biggest casualty of this has been "experimentations". Most folks don't wanna go out on a limb on "unproven" devs and cryptos, while still trying to recover from the daily carnage out there. Add messy tokenomics and you have 10ft pool situations
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | DUSK Network | Privacy-oriented blockchain for Digital Securities! on: December 31, 2019, 01:00:03 PM
Do you mean that mainnet will be launched in this year? Are you going to have token swap with mainnet or when tokens will be swapped to native coins?

Hi Gembira, we will launch a 'sandbox' mainnet this year which is crucial for the integration of our partners. A tokenswap will happen at a later stage.

When is the full mainnet planned to launch? And when will be token swap to native coins?

Which partners do you mean? Can you provide full list of partners with whom do you want to work? And in which way?

What are the correct number of token in circulating (as I understood tokens which were sold on private sale has been unlocked already) ?

We need not worry about the swap because while there are many other companies which we don't see any updates from them. Dusk Network is giving updates about their progress and very soon we might see an update from them about the SWAP to native coins.

Yeah. Dusk really has to be commended for not only putting the community first, but also descending from Mt. Olympus to address their concerns and misunderstanding. Most of these startups would rather focus on buidl first, humans later only to come to the painful realization down the line that there's no human around to bother with what's been built.

Latest update 26th December 2019

Quote
Dear Stakeholders,

Thank you for your patience, and I hope you are spending your holidays merrily, joyfully, and together with your loved ones.

Let me tell you about the recent changes to the team and our way forward. Earlier this year, we have launched the alpha and had close to 400 people participating in testing it. Of course, there are things to improve, odd bugs here and there, but overall the product looks stable enough to be launched after some more development effort and security review.

There was a huge issue, however — one of finances & risk. The launch is a non-reversible decision, with commitments to be made – legal, financial, and operational. We have reached a point where we had to choose – commit fully or reject take off.

We do not want to launch only to close the exchange shortly after, like some others in 2019. We do not want to launch and get hacked in a week. There is no goal to launch the exchange no matter what, and see what happens. There is a goal to create value for our customers and eventually build a profitable business. We need to stand out among the competition and take calculated risks.

We thought long and hard about this, and have decided that proceeding as is carries too much risk and uncertainty and may very well lead to disastrous results and eventual bankruptcy. There are course corrections to be made.

First, we have let go of our Development team. Their job is mostly done, and if we are to continue with the product as is, mine and Anton’s hands will be at work to finish the remaining parts. Second, we have let go of our CS team. It is a sunk cost fallacy to continue sustaining the CS team without any customers. These actions have dramatically reduced our burn rate. Third, we are tidying up other expenses to bring the burn rate down even more and preserve more capital.

As our next, increasingly crucial steps, we are reconsidering our financial model, personnel required for operations, and the product itself. Mothership still has substantial financial resources, the developed intellectual property, licenses from the FIU, and, most importantly, the experience we got from doing all this for the past 2.5 years. Now we have to figure out how to best utilize all these resources, make the business work and risks worth it. It will take time and, thankfully, we still have it. When we make our next moves, we will let you know.

Your Mothership Captain
Arseniy

This is certainly not the sort of update one would like to wake up to. Just when it seems the project was finally beginning to take off, the engine stalls again and this time, ha;f the crew's off the ship - most of the crew from the looks of it.

It's disheartening. Yet in the face of so many exchanges popping up on the daily and vanishing the next, they really need to re-evaluate their positioning. Maybe in another 2.5 years...

You're better off getting on telegram and asking. However, to the best of my knowledge, ETA for swap hasn't been released and there's no comprehensive list of partnership out there. You'll have to check in on their medium page for that.

Can help you with tokenomics though. You can find the circulating supply here: http://supply.dusk.network

The metrics can be found here: https://metrics.dusk.network/

Yes I tried mining BBC.... BBC Discord is full of people asking questions with no replies.

Try Telegram my friend. Discord has died a while ago. No one using Discord anymore.

Seems like the situation is actually a lot direr. They're asking miners to KYC: https://t.me/BigBangCoreEN/4852

This is the first time I'm hearing about miners needing to KYC for payouts. Seen KYC for staking node operators when a chain is fairly nascent, but miners... looks like an alarming turn of event. Doesn't bode well

Really? I didn't know about this. Why did need KYC for miners?
I hope there is a mistake here. It is not cool asking KYC for miners. It is not suit for decentralization.

Doubt it's a mistake. The fact that blocks are mined but pool doesn't payout unless you identify yourself goes to show that someone didn't just accidentally flipped on the wrong switch. This was a conscious decision by design

Guys, you can mine on the pools, you will get shares and that, but you won't get paid because the blocks found by the pools won't be accepted.
I already wrote why is this, the team did an awful thing.
They don't like others mining , it was/is good while money comes IN, but don't like the fact that money can go OUT, and not to their pocket.

@vycl87, maybe join in and shed some light

No shit  Grin.

Looks like it's time to give such with IoT in their name a wide berth. Saw one of the admins claiming the team's been in crypto since 2015 - but still went ahead to implement such a divisive and centralized feature. Interest of the pocket must be protected

There's a lot of vague generalization here. 2016 is calling.

Ultra what? Most advanced where?

Give us the specs, since you're claiming to be the first cryptocurrency for the masses, isn't it hypocritical that the same masses all know a specific, ancient history?

What's the TPS? What's the consensus being used? What are your privacy features, block time, latency, block size, supply - the whole nine yard?

Is this even a coin or a token?
Fact about this project.
The project claimed R¥O project started in 2015 but why on earth the website registered in 2017? and Zenza Capital Holdings registered in the same year as yours.

They should give more information before thinking of holding IEO. The website has no other info other than the 3 paragraphs briefly describing about the coin.

And why use the R-mark? Is that authentic or just a placeholder? No backing of such use?

Sadly, most of us know where this is going to wound up. Yet another overpromising and underdelivering cash grab. There's plainly no excuse for anybody who's followed the trends of this industry and its community for a year to come up with such a shoddy, piss-poor attempt at trying to sell hot air. Wouldn't be surprised if newbie accounts suddenly start shilling this "revolution".

Hey OP, you left out revolution from hype words checklist

Your partners include an outsourcing IT firm and a design firm... that sure sounds like the creme de la creme of it all.

Honestly, I get the pressure. You see all these crypto sites with all their partnerships and you suddenly feel incompetent.

Peer pressure.

Can't have the first IEO in Europe being shown up by a bunch of non-EU thingy. Time to slap on an exchange, the guys that built our website and our graphic designers as partners.

Perfecto
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HKC] Hawk Network - Distributed Intelligent IoT Technology Infrastructure on: December 28, 2019, 02:11:23 PM
Blockchain technology is the future the real world use cases are now getting acknowledged by a lot of companies. Price may fall but the innovation will move forward.
https://mobile.twitter.com/ICODrops/status/1207280129677955074

Price fall mostly because there's no utility developed for the asset. They get minted and we're supposed to pay seesaw with them until something happens. If it was that straightforward, there may still be hope. However, rather than locking the values raised during crowdfunding by tethering, devs too want to play the market and before you know it, the value of the funds raised is no longer enough to develop the project. Tethering is one innovation you'd think the industry would have moved forward with when developing
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Okschain - a new generation financial service with a wide range of features on: December 28, 2019, 11:25:49 AM
OKSCHAIN plans to create an infrastructure for operations with cryptocurrencies and digital assets and to advance in the field of hard-tech, eco-technology and AI. There are several project like this. so what are the advantages of OKSCHAIN compared to similar projects out there?
Thankyou
There are no advantages, another team of enthusiasts who are trying to raise money on the wave of hype on the blockchain.
Doubt blockchain's had that much of a hype lately. However, the project feels overly ambitious and quite vague. VC, mining, exchange, AI? Don't see a correlation between them all. AI also happens to be a word that gives me cause for concern. Everybody seems to keep throwing AI into anything with computation seemingly with the intent of evoking the hype behind autonomous artificial intelligence rather than a rote programming.
Then we have the perplexing decision to call the product okschain when an okchain exists already
