I don't think you can. Since it's untraceable, exchanges have to do manual checks if they have received or send. Until that time when someone's using blackbytes to transact, exchanges won't list it. dev regarding 60 years is not realisit for people to buy ART. how can we maximize the potential of it?
why not you can still sell your genesi address if you think so! i think 60 years is good time. Sell it to whom? As you know, it gets more difficult to mine coins as time goes on. Imagine I've bough a Gen address for 100MNE, giving me 10.000 ART. During the first years, let's say I mine 1 ART a day, for a price of 1,2$ a day. After 2 years I will have mined +- 600 ART (720$), and will have made a profit of 220$. At this time, it's already more difficult to mine ART. Now, I only get 1$ a day (IF the price has remained constant). Let's look at it realistically and say that, over the next 58 years, I will mine, on average, half an ART a day, for the price of 0.5$. The total remaining supply would therefore be worth around 4070$. Do you honestly believe anyone out there is going to spend that money, or even 1/10th of that money, for an address that makes half a dollar a day? I think your math is way off for this estimation, you're assuming Artemine will be worth 1$? This would be insanely undervalued at 1$ and in your last post you stated that having a supply under 10 million can generate a lot of income. Well, Artemine will absolutely start with a small circulation (MNE is under 1 million right now) of coins and if you participate in the ICO will be the one receiving/mining these relatively rare tokens that will have more and more uses over time. à mon sens, ce n'est pas sérieux et ça ne peut que que donner du grain à moudre aux "dissidents" des blocs plus gros.
je ne suis pas compétent en informatique, je suis uniquement un utilisateur, mais si on me dit "le BTC, c'est super car c'est un peu compliqué, il faut s'y connaître pour s'en sortir, c'est peu cher aussi, mais c'est nous qu'on a raison...", ben, je suis pas convaincu. et le jour où BTC se fera passer devant par un autre, il sera trop tard pour pleurer. c'est pas écrit dans la thorah que BTC sera toujours le numéro 1.
segwit est une optimisation..les d'apps feront le reste..peut être une qui permettra d'envoyer sa transac aux noeuds avec des frais minim sans passer par les mineurs qui font la fine bouche..LN semble s'y résoudre même si le coté centralisé me gêne beaucoup..perso je pense que les full noeuds sont la solution et qu'on l' oublie trop souvent. |

Ouais, et j'ai toujours une transaction en mempool depuis 4 jours ...  donc je peux pas vendre. Mais bon, je l'ai voulu ... juste pour voir les limites. Tu peux dire merci à Bitcoin Cash  J'ai jamais vu des fees aussi élevés, et je ne sais même pas si SegWit va aider en quoi que ce soit. En gros, dans les conditions actuelles, tout transfert qui vaut moins de $10k sur la chaîne BTC devient un grand luxe. Pour les très gros montants, ça reste pas cher. On se rapproche donc de la vision store-of-value (digital gold), laissant le marché des transactions courantes à d'autres chaînes (ou DAG). Y'a pas à dire, le monde des cryptos n'arrêtera jamais de me divertir C'est pourquoi je propose à mes membres de les payer en dollar perfect money car les frais risquent de manger en grande partie leur bénéfices. Quand on me parlait de dust je disais que c'est faux...car c'était faux...le dust ne me dérangeait pas vraiment... Mais maintenant c'est catastrophique. le jour ou un satoshi vaudra 1€ on sera bien emmerder..imaginez envoyer 1€/sat et payer 3~4sat de frais..le probleme avec bitcoin c'est que les frais ne sont pas proportionnel..exprimé en % par exemple..dans ce cas on aurait des frais négatif. |

You make an interesting point, but don't forget that the Dev is planning to have a market to sell genesis addresses. So in essence, you could cash out any time before those 60 years.
To play devil's advocate: how much would an investor be willing to pay for the generic address, when the maturity date for the investment is sixity years? Even if your believe (as most of us do) that crypto currency is the way of the future, is ART going to be relevant for 60 years into the future? It's difficult to say yes with any certainty. Even now there are hundreds of other alt-coins flooding the market. Who would want to commit that long and buy the generic address at a high a price?
It's not important 1, 10 or 60 year. All investors are in the same conditions.
For example if we have 1 million tokens, 1 year and price 1$ after 1 month (total tokens 83k, market cap is 83k $),
then for 10 years period after 1 month we will have 10$ price (total tokens 8.3k, but market cap sure will be same 83k $ and price 10$ case in this case it's a rare token and low supply).
Just simple math.
Difference is only speed of price change cause inflation.
The real question in regards to supply is whether they decide to increase the algorithm difficulty as time goes on. It would be a much more ideal situation for the investors if you got ART mined at a decreased rate every month (such as bitcoin), that way you get more ART at the beginning when it is more valuable rather than the end when most people probably have moved on. This also makes the coin more scarce (increasing the coins value) as time goes on. A major reason for Bitcoins rise in price was the increasing algorithm difficulty along with a relatively small (21 million) maximum cap on total circulation. If we get the same amount of ART every month we mine it, it's bad news bears for those who bought at the ICO. It seems this wil be an fonctionality of art..yu can check this in wp. |
