Just after my post they shut down the pool

The connection has timed out

pump and dump on this huge cryptoscam.

Even if you are having problems on the http, did you try the stratum port to see if it was working better?

I am not affiliated with Nonce Pool but I have mined with them and not had issues. They have some really good pools with other coins besides this coin.

I have been mining there on Kryptohash since it opened and it is still open now so the pool has not been shut down.

I'm merge mining too with X11 but not all block candidates get accepted - and i'm not sure why.. would be cool if the Dev could get in touch with me..

What pool is merge mining available for x11?

Also why is it so difficult for x11 algo to find blocks? Between both x11 pools in the OP I think only 1 or 2 blocks was found in the last day.

This pool http://xpypool.com/ claims they are merge mining.  With the diff and hashrate I think we should have more blocks for X11 as well.  I just don't know why not many have been found lately.

Just looked at that pool. It looks as it is just a multipool as they only have payouts in BTC or Pay Coin. Maybe I am reading something wrong though.

I would like to merge mine and keep the coins I am mining.

Just an update on my minting problem.

I went ahead and redownloaded the 1.5 wallet and let it completely resync. Everything went fine. I had about 16 connections to the network, I used the same config from computer one so I had the addnodes to sync. After it was done I transfered my wallet.dat from the computer 1 to the computer two where the new wallet is at. Now I only have a maximum of 8 connections and still no staking even though the wallet shows 6 mins to stake. It has been like that for about a day now.

I guess I have to wait and hope someone takes over and does an updated wallet to fix my issue. I even tried the walletrepair in the console but it did nothing.

EDIT: Maybe the New Year got it going. It just started staking again. Yay.

the trading history of lazycoins stuck at 18-12-2014 08:46:20, so lazy~  Grin

I think it is hurting the coin.

Anyone that is new to the coin and goes over to the exchange to see how it is trading might thing that there is no volume at all and might be discouraged to invest or start mining.

I put in a request at two other exchanges to have it added.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 31, 2014, 04:36:37 PM
Can a noob get a little help here? I've only mined with asics to a pool, and of course cloud mining and know very little on the tech side about mining. I installed my wallet, and clicked start mining....is that all i have to do? It looks like I'm mining as it says that I'm at 76.86kh/s hashrate, but it also says 21days average to find a block with 2.10GH/s total in pool. Did I need to change anything to point to my spreadcoin address or is it just all set?
Don't quote me on this my friend but I believe that it's all set up already like that Smiley That is the purpose and point behind SpreadCoin I believe but I'm still pretty Noobish so like I said don't quote me on that Wink Cheers

I thought that was all I needed, it just seems that 21 days for a 6 coin block seemed like excessive power consumption....

I am mining with 7,600 kh/s on one machine and it can take me hours to find a block. Sometimes up to 8 hours. So with 76 kh/s it probably can take you days to find one.

Looks like that 76 kh/s might be the cpu only mining. What kind of card are you using and what wallet version are you running?

I know that Mr. Spread created the new wallet so it was a one click to get going. Or something like that.

Just made a request at Poloniex and C-Cex to have KHC up for voting to be added, well voting at C-Cex.

Just my personal feeling is that with the glitch on LazyCoin not showing any trades since 12/17 makes it look like there is no volume happening if anyone outside of mining took a look at the coin right now and had no idea that there is a glitch in the system.

btw -- does anyone know if it is possible to embed video on this forum?

Check out the OP to Ripoff Coin. Not sure if that is what you are talking about.

Just took a look at my wallet.

Shows I am completely synced at block 1,497,250 with 16 connections. But I have not had a pos block since 12/19/2014

Am I about at the correct block?

And what's your network weight and expected time for reward?

Close your wallet, wait for approx 20-30min then fire your wallet again. That procedure worked in my case.

happy staking  Wink

Network weight is 125340937 and expected time is 5 minutes. I show current block 1,527,138.

Will close wallet and wait 30 minutes and retry.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 30, 2014, 04:43:37 AM

If you read what Mr. Spread said you would know that you don't need a .conf file.

That is exactly why I had that NOTE in the statement. Also I have no idea if Mr. Spread's wallet/miner is based on sgminer for AMD cards, if so then Mr. Spread's is not the best option for Nvidia miners. Also why I said nvminer is optimized for Nvidia cards.

The person is asking about Nvidia cards. So I gave him a solution. We Nvidia miners don't always get the best optimized stuff.

EDIT: I believe even if you are using Mr. Spread's and you are mining multiple rigs into the same wallet you will still need a conf file, wouldn't you?

Spreadcoin Mining Guide

Sed8H56NJBTdY8E9Zuqs7o29g6xXz8fSD7

e1ghtSpace submitted the following as a mining guide.  As I mentioned, I'm no miner.  Does he have it right?
So guys, is my guide correct?

Yeah. Its correct for what hes using, obviously, because he has it working. Following it, if you have that setup is foolproof with the exception of tweaking specs for your GPU.
Im having trouble configuring my Nvidia cards still. Maybe someone can help.

What is the difference in X11 vs Spreadx11 or whatever its called.

I think I could use my Cudaminer setup thats already functional otherwise if I knew what the technical differences were.

The guide 8space submitted is nice just a little confusing explaining the .config but the dev says its already there.

To clarify the explanation of creating the .config is easy to understand and the dev having it already implemented is easy to understand
but the communication between the two; if you need to add it (.config) to mine despite it being integrated, is what is foggy.

You can not use cudaminer to mine Spreadcoin. Nvminer is more optimized for Nvidia cards.

Bat should be something like this: spreadminer -o localhost:PORT -u YOUR_USER_NAME -p YOUR_PASSWORD       The username and password should be what you have it set in the config file. OR spreadminer -o 127.0.0.1:PORT -u YOUR_USER_NAME -p YOUR_PASSWORD

example of config file (It goes in the appdata folder for Spread Coin):

rpcuser=YOUR_USER_NAME
rpcpassword=YOUR_PASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=YOUR_PORT
rpcthreads=15
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1

Note I use the rpcthread but you can leave it out. (I use it to tell the wallet how many connections max connections for the wallet.)

NOTE: I am not using or tried Mr Spread's new wallet with the built in miner. This is what works for me since I am mining multiple rigs into one wallet although what I showed is only to solo mine from the computer that the wallet is located on NOT solo mining from multiple rigs to one wallet.

EDIT: Depending on your card also the nvminer might not work. I have never checked to see which compute it is set up for. I know it works for Maxwell cards though.

Does anyone know about how many blocks a day are being found? Or is there a way to figure it out?

Just trying to get an idea about how much mining is left. I see a little over 12k blocks to mine. Just curious about how many days total or close.

blocktimes are 1 min so you can work it out from there.

Thanks. I should have looked at the OP better.

So then the ride is almost over. So sad now.

But looking forward to the future of the coin.

airball in still waiting for you dump for that electric bill.  Wink
No hurry,I will,just wait~  Cheesy
I've dumped 13K XMR today to pay part of my electric bill.

Damn, part of your electric bill. How much is it? 13k XMR is like $6,200.

guys have seen how and dropped the price of UIS? Two days ago was now 0.01 and 0.00001280 of coinswap. This coin has no future, and already more difficult to undermine it in the price and low Shocked Shocked

Someone intentially sold the coins for that low of a price.

It's on ButTrex and C-Cex now. Maybe the price will hold better.

I'll put a 500 SPR bounty for a good mining guide.

Not written by Mr. Spread (sorry Mr. Spread) as we need him to focus on coding Smiley

This wasn't done by me but this is how I finally learned how to solo mine with multiple rigs into one wallet.

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 29, 2014, 03:14:17 PM
Ive only got my pc set up no true rig. Ive supported other coins before but only with pools never solo. Im set up now with cudamuner and just replace my gpus code withthe pools info. Im at work now but ill be off in 4 hours. Ill write up a setup guide when I get home. Maybe we can schedule an IRC meeting and get some group assistance to speed things up a bit?

You will need nvminer to mine this coin with Nvidia cards. As of now that is the only miner supporting this coin.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 29, 2014, 02:56:20 PM
I had tried the latest version and now it just didn't show any error but just closes when any key's been pressed.
Really hard to say why this is happening, I tried latest drivers at it works for me.
It doesn't output any information at all?
No information. I had tried with 14.9 version too, and the same happens.
Couldn't able to figure out whats the real problem.
If you are a miner with little hashpower,I recommend you to give up mining for you'll get nothing for long time.

Hash rate still is not very high for the big picture. Turning away any hash at all is detrimental for success. Miners may not cover electric costs by reward to price of coin but more hash power equils stronger blockchain, every time. Coin price could rise and maybe cover costs and put miners in the black but either way supporting a coin with your personal hash power no matter how small gives personal pride. I understand 90% or more are in this for the profit, but I like to believe others still support concepts and principles among just cash.

A user friendly. guide for Nvida gpu set up would be great imo. I looked for about an hour last night at this thread but tge information is scattered everywhere.

Best wishes.

What info are you looking for?

DO you have your config file set up and the the command for the miner is simple:      spreadminer -o localhost:PORT -u YOUR_USER_NAME -p YOUR_PASSWORD -q    You don't need the -q I like using it though.
