16 active connections and fully synced. Either be patient or look outside of JPC QT because it works fine. May take a couple of days to fully sync if you have been out of the game for awhile because it is bloatware.

How's your JackpotCoin.conf looks like?

Just took a look at my wallet.

Shows I am completely synced at block 1,497,250 with 16 connections. But I have not had a pos block since 12/19/2014

Am I about at the correct block?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

I agree with your block count but I am staking approx 200-500 JPC every 2 - 20 minutes.

So it seems there are quite a few people willing to contribute a considerable amount of JPC to a dev fund/bounty.  Eyeballing it while browsing from my phone quick looks like what, 40-50 mil ish?  Anyone experienced in setting these kinds of things up or able to recruit a dev?  I'm unfortunately useless in this matter, but I'll help facilitate anyway possible.  JPC deserves to be up on the charts again, although does need a bit of dev attention, particularly in terms of the rate at which the blockchain filesize grows.  It's still a very damn fast coin with with great tech specs and a cool feature.

Hi.

Remove your .conf file from your appdata/roaming/jackpotcoin folder and start your wallet again.  You should get some connections.

And what's your network weight and expected time for reward?

Close your wallet, wait for approx 20-30min then fire your wallet again. That procedure worked in my case.

happy staking  Wink

maybe the OP can arrange a fund and check if there are any dev's able to work at JPC?

Network weight is 125340937 and expected time is 5 minutes. I show current block 1,527,138.

Will close wallet and wait 30 minutes and retry.

Well has anyone asked mkimid, the original dev, if he's interested if a certain amount is raised?  We might need someone that knows him or the JackpotCoin user can ask if he's got his other contact details.  mkimid hasn't been on btctalk in a while so I assumed he moved onto other things, but it would be cool to at least ask. I don't think there was much left to finish up 1.6 wallet at least.

If we're serious about getting a new dev, I would like to nominate soopy452000 on here. I haven't messaged him or anything, but I have followed the work he did on BEEcoin and some others.  He has resurrected some lesser known coins before and as far as I can tell, he really knows what he's doing.

Honestly, I would prefer a new dev. I have seen many hundred of coins start, trickle, and ultimately end mostly due to lack of development. He abandoned what I still consider to be a great coin algo with underexposed potential. The next level is required.

From what I know, the 'keeper of the coin' is not a developer. He hired one who has since moved on. May take a new team and a fork to take control.

a fork is not needed. everything works so far. we just need a new dedicated dev who can implement new features and fix stuff if something breaks.

Just an update on my minting problem.

I went ahead and redownloaded the 1.5 wallet and let it completely resync. Everything went fine. I had about 16 connections to the network, I used the same config from computer one so I had the addnodes to sync. After it was done I transfered my wallet.dat from the computer 1 to the computer two where the new wallet is at. Now I only have a maximum of 8 connections and still no staking even though the wallet shows 6 mins to stake. It has been like that for about a day now.

I guess I have to wait and hope someone takes over and does an updated wallet to fix my issue. I even tried the walletrepair in the console but it did nothing.

EDIT: Maybe the New Year got it going. It just started staking again. Yay.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Bittrex is saying it's in danger of delisting?

I have been watching it for quite a while and even lately it has maintained over .2BTC on average, do they have some other sort of requirement I'm not aware of?

yeah no idea why that would be, I'll try sending them a message about it.  Definitely doesn't look good to have that message up, especially if it's a mistake.
