801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmarket.eu admin does not answer on: December 20, 2012, 05:19:19 PM
No, the seller had already confirmed the receipt of my money and the bitcoins were added to my normal bitmarket bitcoin balance.
Only when I wanted to withdraw them they have been frozen.

Yes, see this topic:

804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitMarket.eu Eternal withdrawal on: December 19, 2012, 10:45:56 PM
The website seems to be Polish.
According to the whois entry for this domain (see http://www.eurid.eu/) the registrar is "Domeny" (http://domeny.pl/).
The registrant is anonymous.

Maybe we could contact the registrar and inform them that one their customers is involved in fraudulent activity and request the full name and address?
I am not an expert in Polish law (European law?) but there has to be way to bring the owners to account and force them to pay out the Bitcoins to their rightful owners.
We're talking about several thousand Euros here, aren't we?
805  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitMarket.eu Eternal withdrawal on: December 19, 2012, 02:27:53 AM
So is there anything we can do?
806  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitMarket.eu Eternal withdrawal on: December 17, 2012, 02:25:50 AM
I'm also waiting for my withdrawal request to be processed.
Has anybody recently gotten their Bitcoins from bitmarket?

Maybe they have been hacked but don't want to damage their reputation and keep it secret.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: solidcoin24 Exchange [BTC <-> SLC, SLC -> EUR (SEPA)] - Full trading API on: October 13, 2011, 08:00:03 PM
It appears that BTC withdrawals are currently broken.  After confirming the withdrawal, a page with no content is displayed and no BTC are sent or deducted.
Should be fixed now.

Will you be offering TBX exchanging also?
You mean SLC/TBX?
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin 2 Release - Monday 10th October 23:35 UTC on: October 10, 2011, 01:39:54 PM
I just want to let you know that my exchange (https://solidcoin24.com) will support SC 2.0 as soon as it's out.
You can register already now; depositing BTC and NMC works.
Since yesterday there's also a market where users can trade directly with each other in many different currencies (USD,EUR,GBP,CAD,AUD,CHF,JPY) and with many different methods (bank transfer, PayPal, Moneybookers, Dwolla, ...).
809  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: attn:bitcoin exchanges - request for json api trades by timestamp/tradeid on: September 20, 2011, 11:50:53 PM
If I understood you correctly, you want exchanges to provide an api call that lists all trades since a certain timestamp.

Here you are: https://solidcoin24.com/api/trades/btc/s/{timestamp}
Example: https://solidcoin24.com/api/trades/btc/s/1315601224

Thanks.   Can you add trade ids to the data?

Sure.

811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / SLC <-> NMC trading @ solidcoin24 on: September 09, 2011, 04:02:18 PM
The following trading options have been added:
NMC -> SLC
SLC -> NMC

NMC need 2 confirmations until you can use them.

You can find it good or bad what CoinHunter did, but it's not illigal. You may use MIT-licensed code and re-distribute a changed version under whichever license you want. You just have to leave something like "contains Bitcoin code (http://blabla, licensed under MIT license)".
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin founder admits to deceptive intent in 'Bitcoin Crash' article. on: September 04, 2011, 02:34:55 PM
I'm currently experiencing a massive sign up wave but I'm not sure whether I should be happy or sad about that Undecided
Gaining users through competition would've been better I guess.

If you want to buy Solidcoins for Bitcoins cheaply now is the right time. Any bid will be bought up I guess.

I will not stop trading anytime soon. Not because I want to take advantage of less competition but because somehow I can understand the step. The Solidcoin developer(s) want their added features to be Solidcoin-only features to stop the continuous forking. The Solidcoin cryptocurrency will remain something special this way. If we want to establish an alternative to currently used currencies we must not fork every week.

I'm not involved with Solidcoin development but I really like the improvements and I see that there are active developers constantly at least trying to improve the client.

Some errors occurred:
Sorry, but you can't withdraw Bitcoins without having deposited anything before.

Great, one can deposit BTCs there, but then they're hijacked. The "without having deposited anything before" is really a foobared statement.

As a welcome present you probably got 5 or 1 SLC, right? Then you probably changed them to BTC and wanted to withdraw them. Please understand that by giving out free SLC I wanted people to encourage using and testing the exchange. This includes depositing. If you want to withdraw your BTC or SLC, you can deposit 0.00000001 SLC and withdraw anything you have afterwards.

And how is it foobared? I think it's quite reasonable that withdrawing without having deposited anything before is not possible.

So what do you accuse me of exactly?
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Euro [SEPA] to SLC and vice versa on: September 02, 2011, 07:06:48 PM
That being said I wouldn't trade there.

Is this because you don't trade with SLC/EUR at all or is it an exchange-specific issue (design, trading mechanism or lack of volume)?
I try to constantly improve the exchange that's why suggestions or constructive criticism is always appreciated.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Euro [SEPA] to SLC and vice versa on: September 02, 2011, 03:17:34 PM
Well I understand your suspiciousness. But how does it sound like a scam?
Working hours (or even days) for a website, investing money and honestly offering a service and then being accused of being a scammer is like a slap in the face.
If you know a way to build up a cryptocurrency/fiat money exchange without people distrusting you please let me know.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Euro [SEPA] to SLC and vice versa on: September 02, 2011, 02:52:34 PM
I hope it's ok to start a new thread since this is not official content but rather a question to the SLC community.

I extended my exchange (www.solidcoin24.com) to support more currencies without splitting it (not online yet, though).

So before making it publicly available and doing more efforts I want to ask you whether you would (and could -> SEPA zone) use such a service. Of course you are invited to test my exchange before for free with SLC/BTC trading. The trading mechanisms would stay the same (but constantly new features added, of course Wink ).

SLC <-> BTC trading would remain available (without fees, as a nice additional feature) and
SLC <-> EUR trading added.
BTC <-> EUR would not be available, SLC shall remain the 'central' exchange currency.

Unfortunately I can't provide this service for free. A small fee of, say 0.3%, would be charged per SLC <-> EUR trade to cover running costs.

Depositing and withdrawing would be possible via SEPA (Eurozone) transactions at first (more options added later).

I think it is essential to offer Bitcoin-independent exchanges to make Solidcoin more popular.

What do you think?
818  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Solidcoins und Solidcoin-Börse on: September 01, 2011, 12:59:24 PM
Hallo!

I wouldn't let them be free to do so, in the financial world you need to be cognizant of the liklihood of getting oblivious users and it is a simple fix just redirect http requests to https and the end user would be none the wiser :-D
Redirecting to the https version can be problematic too since any authentication cookie will have been sent in the clear on the initial http request. Hopefully the exchange has marked the cookies to only be used on https connections and not http connections.
I just assured that this is the case.
But even if it was not the case it's still better than communicating without any encryption. All an eavesdropper could get is the session id which becomes invalid after some time. So any hacker would have to be much faster in order to hack an account than if they knew the user password and email.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: solidcoin24 Exchange - No fees, full trading API on: August 31, 2011, 08:14:04 PM
I do have SSL I just do not enforce it.
If users chose to send API requests through http (e.g. to pull down market data) they are free to do so.

Probably true. solidcoin24 now only accepts https, no more http.
Thanks for all the suggestions/corrections btw.
