801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [vDice.io]►Ethereum Blockchain Gambling►►**New & Awesome Version of Site on: June 25, 2017, 11:41:54 PM
Is their anyone facing problem in playing in vdice as the eth blockchain is not working and all transaction are not getting confirmation. So is it affecting the Vdice platform.
I agree with you and I also believe that they are facing it because there betting option is same like directory with out deposit play

The problem is there but i do hope it will be resolved soon. Also Vdice has nothing to do in it as it is actually the ETH block chain which is not working as per standard making ETH transactions delayed. Anyone know the ERT of when it can be resolved ?

So it means that which ever platform is working on ETH are in problem as now they are not able to transact due to ETH blockchain problem. I also want the problem to be solved soon but ETH developer is not interested in it and he is enjoying with profit which he sold his stocks.
I hope that they will take the interest and will solve the issue because they may know that in the future they will earn a more high profit from this currency.
Along with that I will suggest vdice to start some other coins which are working conveniently for transactions to make your site more convenient.

What you said is correct that Vdice should also think on using other coin also as if in future ETH got problem then they should be able to run the site with another coin which is also good and fast.

803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC Hitting 3000$ today ? on: June 25, 2017, 09:20:27 AM
Bitcoin has been constantly avoiding the 3000 USD mark and this is not bad at all. It would just seem like some people are just too hasty about Bitcoin price increasing. Wait, that is the perfect term for this case.

Next month (july) maybe it would sorrow and hit $3000 woooooot wooooot
I was thinking the same thing. It is highly probable since Australia will accept Bitcoin on that very month.

It is just reacting like $1k price which got sentimental hurdle and it took so long to break it but when it broke it the next stop was above $2600 price so i think if once the $3k price hurdle is cleared we can see price above $4500 price which is quite possible.

I have not mentioned that Vdice is giving problem, i mean it that which ever platform is working on ether platform will be facing the same problem now as ether blockchain is not working so their own platform tokens will also be facing problem and due to high price now the ether transaction fees is also gone high just like bitcoin high transaction fees problem is going on.
805  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Safe to buy accounts here? on: June 25, 2017, 08:41:28 AM
I dont know that why do you need to buy a ebay accounts when you can itself create you own account , if you want to do legal and genuine business then you dont need to buy other accounts. Only that person are buying accounts who wanted to scam or cheat and they dont want to get caught. So buying and selling of accounts is not recommended

807  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Problem with Bitcoins bought at an ATM on: June 24, 2017, 09:38:43 PM
Hello,

I am new to the whole Bitcoin-scene and bought my first Bitcoins today for 110€ at an local BATMTWO BITCOIN ATM (Picture related). Because I have no wallet on my phone, I entered my e-mail adress to receive the Bitcoins, but after 3 hours I still haven't got any notification or anything else. Is it normal that transactions on an ATM take that long? I wasn't able to find anything regarding this topic via Google.

And yes, I entered the right adress and checked my spam folder.

Thanks in advance for your help

When you bought the coins through ATM did you checked the procedure correctly as i think for receiving the bitcoin you need bitcoin wallet and the bitcoin wallet address which is used to receive the bitcoins from any where , i dont think that through email id you can receive the bitcoins.
808  Economy / Speculation / Re: trading bitcoin for maximum profit on: June 24, 2017, 09:35:23 PM
is there a best time of day to sell bitcoin during the day in the uk? I imagine the trading hours of the us and china push the price up at certain points in the day.

Ya i have also noticed so many times that all coins are pushed or pumped during particular of time and after that the coins traders very little. If i am not wrong they are using the time when the users are not online most of them so that in that mean time they can manipulate the price of the coin and then go away. That is why i just put the pre order of buying and selling and when ever their is pump or dump my order get executed
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2017, 09:27:51 PM

810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 24, 2017, 08:37:22 PM
Could you please elaborate on the 10% fee on trades? 10% of what? 10% of the price of an option? 10% of the fee an exchange pays dcorp for using their platform?

One last question for Hansco, your bio mentions: "and soon found himself successfully speculating by trading options and futures on the trading floor in Amsterdam. "

I really would like to know in what period where you in the crowd at the exchange, working for which company and trading in what stocks? I did some research and so far nobody from the crowd remembers or knows you.
For other people reading this: don't take this as a negative please since there can be a lot of reasons for this (different period, different stock, it was a big crowd).

Congratulations on the succesful ICO! I hope you guys can pull this off Smiley

the continued avoidance of an answer surrounding Hansco's involvement in options trading is becoming slightly worrying

I am very sorry about the late answer, we just came back from Singapore and were in the last days of the week 3 bonus. We had like 500 new shareholders who had a lot of questions about Dcorp. I started trading in 1995 first buying just stocks, later I found out the options are much more lucrative. I did this when I was in the University. In 2000 I made it my fulltime job to trade stocks, bonds, options and futures. In that period there was the transition from floor trading to screen trading, we did already the screen trading. I traded futures on the German stock exchange (DAX) and was marketmaker on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange AEX. Also we traded between the different stockmarkets because the bid and offers of the derivatives were not similar.
Two years ago I started trading in crypto's and also mining them, first only the top ten crypto's but later on top 100 and now top 200.

Thank you for the concrats and yes we will pull this of for all the shareholders!

Thanks for taking the time to respond on this forum.

Just to clarify.
1. You started trading privately in 1995 while being in University?
2. You did not actually trade from the crowd but started trading professionally behind the screen, and this was in 2000 (like it is done mostly nowadays)?
3. An unanswered question of mine: for which company where you a market maker? This will help a lot in verifying your success as a market maker and expertise in the field of derivatives.

In your bio it says:

After 23 years of experience, Hansco Leek believes in DCORP and its decentralized derivatives exchange. By bringing management and trading expertise, etc

Based on your answer one could argue the 23 years part being slightly misleading.

I have no doubt an option exchange (and other derivatives) for cryptos can be an extreme money machine, especially with no competition (yet). Like mentioned before, I believe having the dream/idea and actually pulling it off are two completely different things. Based on the bio's on dcorps website I suspect the knowledge and expertise in options and derivatives comes first place from one person, but maybe more will be hired. If that person (Hansco) advertises 23 years of experience from which almost 20 years (suspected/estimated since I was not sure I could derive this from bio or answers but perhaps I overlooked ) were from trading privately it makes me have some doubts.

One final thing, in your bio it says stockbroker, not trader like you mention in your answer. People who know the difference know this is a huge difference (like the difference between an architect and a home builder, may be not the best of metaphors Smiley). I don't get it. Perhaps the making of the bio was under stress of time or whatever.

I sincerely regret it but for now I am going to watch this unfold, and honestly hope you guys pull it off, as it would be awesome to see some Dutchies be the first guys to do this.
I really really wanted to get satisfying answers be convinced and put some in, but for now I am going to wait and step in when DCorp multiplied * 100 in value :-)

After reading your quote i just went through his profile on the Dcorp and what he said is really not relevant as he mentioned that he started trading in derivatives in 2000 then how come 23 years of experience will come to him.

It is nice to see that the DCORP functions will be decided by the shareholders, as i saw that 10% is the fees which will be charged on each transaction as this fees is too much high.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 24, 2017, 08:24:26 PM
Here are the first odds for who will win the next champion's league 2017/18:

Bayern                   @6.00
Barcelona               @6.00
Real Madrid             @6.00
Juventus                 @8.00
Chelsea                @12.00
Manchester City     @13.00
Manchester United @15.00
At. Madrid             @15.00
Psg                       @17.00

At this moment there is a great balance between so many teasms.
Very important will be the summer session of Tranfermarket: At. Madrid has the market blocked for the Ban, Real Madrid can lose CR7, Juventus may lose its best defender (Bonucci).

Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely not moving from Real Madrid, i believe his main motivation is because the higher hierachy of the club were not vocalising their support for him and since Perez did that, He seems to be okay with staying now.

I also believe that Christiano Ronaldo will stay on Real Madrid if Zidane not recruit any striker that can compete with Ronaldo. Actually it's still hard to predict who will be the champion for the next champions league. Chelsea could be the best competitor so far with their manager and great run on premier league.

I think that Ronaldo is not playing in Real Madrid next session and will be playing with another club that is why i saw that he is recommending other good players to be included in Real Madrid. Chelsea is a good team and they can give surprise in coming season

Just like what Edgeless will soon offer, they have included sports betting in their white paper.
I'm sure if you add that game it will be more fun, sport betting industry is a very big market, we should be looking at this kind of improvement.
THIS! I don't know whether Edgeless will be meet its obligations about sport betting, but this would be awesome.
I read gambling section of Bitcointalk everyday - DirectBet is now closed, and people are desperately seeking alternatives where they could bet without account.
vDice might get the jackpot here if they would release a their own sportsbook.

I also think that entering the sports betting market and that too with ETH also is a good project and it will surely be a success one as their is no eth sports betting site apart from directbet which is shut down now.

If someone comes with a similar concept like directsite and if they manage to gain a community trust then they can surely make a lot of money from this business. As of now, no one has filled up that gap and many players are eagerly waiting for directbet replacement site including me.

A sportbook would be more difficult to create. You need some odd provider, and some results may be wrong and you'll need more support staff too. Bets may take too long to settle and people may be annoyed, etc...

But the rewards would be worth, considering how popular Directbet was and

Yes, initially it will be a difficult task for all newbies but with the good technical team and good marketing knowledge still, can make it. It also needs a good amount of investment but if someone takes that risk and come up with the good site then surely they will make a good profit from this business.

What you are telling is true, but if they can tie up with fiat sports betting sites then they dont have to put much effort , the only technical thing have to be done is that convert the odd from fiat currency to bitcoin or ETH odd, if this can be done then they can make a good site and achieve a next milestone of creating a sports betting site on ETH. which will give more boost to the platform to reach another milestone of users.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ALIBABA TO ACCEPT BITCOIN BEFORE AMAZON & OTHERS on: June 24, 2017, 12:05:39 PM
OP the title of the thread is not relevant to the comment, still their is no confirmation from any of the online company confirmation of using bitcoin, this is just a poll conducted by a users for getting bitcoin as payment on this sites. So it is just a poll and not a decision.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 24, 2017, 12:02:21 PM
England take on India in the Women's World Cup today, England have won the toss and chosen to bowl first.
India have some upcoming players, including Deepti Sharma, and it will be interesting to see how they perform.

India openers have played well and S.Mandana have given a very good startup but unlucky that could not make it to century, and now they are 204/1 in 40 overs so 300 score is still good for india to defend the match and win it.

Srilanka are struggling and they are five wickets down
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: June 24, 2017, 11:53:56 AM
This is upto the users wish of using the bitcoin in which ever way they want, but why bitcoin even fiat currency is also the same that each users uses it in his own way, some use fiat currency for good and some uses it from wrong doings , that dont mean that fiat currency is not good to use same way bitcoin users choice is their own to use it in which ever way they want it.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: June 23, 2017, 10:30:14 PM
I dont think what you are telling is correct, their are users who are earning good in salary so what ever they are earning in bitcoin that they can save it, but like me who are earning very less so what ever earning in bitcoins have to convert 50% in fiat currency to meet my family expenses. So i think we earning bitcoin for our needs and when that needs are full filled that is the correct time.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: June 23, 2017, 10:07:57 PM
Even in India some restuarant in Indira Nagar Bangalore is accepting bitcoin as the source says even after a 9 months there is not even a single transaction done using bitcoin.

Are you serious as i am really so much happy to know that in India in bangalore their is a place where bitcoin is accepted as payment option. Not getting customer should not be disappointed as bitcoin knowledge is only 1 % of whole world knows it but in future it will surely gain popularity.
