In terms of performance, Man City is still looking strong this season. However, the rumors about Pep Guardiola's interest in Toni Kroos may suggest a desire for midfield stability when coping with injury storms. Toni Kroos boasts excellent passing statistics and significantly influences the team's gameplay.

When the midfield is orchestrated by a top-class midfielder, goal machines like Haaland will undoubtedly find it easier to create scoring opportunities. There's no doubt about the clever attacking setup that Toni Kroos provides.
Pep Guardiola is usually this person who is always right in choosing good players for the club. I don't know how, but Guardiola always seems to have a sharp eye and instinct in choosing players. I don't care who Guardiola chooses because so far his choices have always been good. If the choice is Toni Kroos then I believe it would be the best choice for the club.
But unfortunately, I'm not sure Kroos will accept the offer from Pep Guardiola, as his loyalty to Madrid is still his main priority. Tony Kroos has no agenda outside Madrid for now and next season, especially after having the task of providing additional training to young players so that they are ready to replace him in the future.

Pep Guardiola is at a disadvantage after his main players don't play. The absence of the midfield key meant that Haaland couldn't do much. At first glance, for Euro 2024 the Norwey national team did not get the opportunity, which means that Haaland cannot appear and set a record in bigger competitions. It's a shame to play great in the domestic league but playing in the international arena doesn't have the same fate.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 17, 2023, 10:42:31 AM
I want to pose a question that I believe is quite expensive for many of us here, and it's a dilemma most of us can relate to. We all know that gambling is a game where we put our luck to the test. However, there's a crucial moment in every gambler's journey. the moment when you hit that big win. Do you cash out and savor your victory, or do you continue playing in hopes of even bigger winnings?
I always have certain limits when I win. For example, if it is above $100 it means I can immediately leave and withdraw from the casino. On the other hand, if it is still under $100 it means I am free to play even if I lose completely. Because by having a win limit, I no longer worry about continuing to play or going out to enjoy the win.

Maybe my method will not be the same as other people who will indeed be diverse in dealing with such dilemmas. You can also apply the same thing with winning limits according to your wishes. So you have your own principles when playing at the casino. Whether it's a game based on luck or skill, I will follow the rules I created myself. But of course this doesn't always go well because my mood is not supportive. I once reached $200 but kept playing until it came to a tragic end.  Grin

David Raya is increasingly showing his solidity with Arsenal amidst his current status. However, he hopes he can be signed because Arsenal is a suitable club for him. In my opinion, this would be a big advantage for the Gunners if they really have the intention to make David Raya permanent. Apart from that, by having 2 extraordinary goalkeepers whose quality is evenly matched, both David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale will be able to maintain the goal defense well. Moreover, currently the Gunner is facing tough competition in the UCL which requires their goal to be able to minimize conceding goals.

805  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of war, Gold rises. What about Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2023, 02:10:57 PM
I've seen Gold market prices rising lately as a result of the current Israel-Hamas conflict. However, Bitcoin hasn't experienced any upsurge in price. It's still hovering around the $26k range. Something similar happened during the Russia-Ukraine war.

Is it because investors still don't trust Bitcoin as a store of value? Or is it something else? Please enlighten me. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

Regardless of how this happened, there is new news now, if you look at social media, Blackrock has received approval to release their EFT. This is marked by a rapid increase in Bitcoin. For this reason, I don't know if there will be an influence on the war that occurs, but I look at it from the other side, because war interference would be unrealistic for Bitcoin, even though we have seen a lot of fundraising by accepting Bitcoin as an option. Now Ukraine is no longer providing information about the assets they received after getting millions of dollars from donations of Bitcoin and several other altcoins.

The increase in gold that occurred could be caused by other factors that we don't know, in the midst of the conflict what is most needed is emergency funds, medical supplies, food, warm clothes, and clean water. To secure assets or as a suggestion for storing value, I think this condition applies in some areas outside of conflict.
806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: October 16, 2023, 01:11:31 PM
I know that these are all pure assumptions, but instead of speculating massive ATH and 3x or 4x returns, which are way too common in the forum, why not expect something that is more probable to happen in the near future? And to be honest, doubling your investment is a great yield that cannot easily be found in other forms of investment.
I call it a short-term investment, but for long-term holders, don't want to give up their Bitcoin holdings too early. 1 year after the Halving seems more reasonable and there will be more massive price movements. The principle of doubling an investment seems reasonable, but it also means that we quickly end the value of holdings over a long period of time just because we can't wait to take a bigger share. Let's say you sell it in the near future but can't recover the initial purchase price. Some investors buy Bitcoin at different prices so selling it at too early a price makes the profits less visible. Therefore, long-term holders choose to wait and maximize profits at the Halving moment.

I also believe that the defense is definitely the biggest problem for Manchester United right now. And after that comes the midfield. With the attacking lineup that Manchester United has right now, I still believe that it will be good enough to work with. Just for context, Manchester United has been able to score 9 goals so far this season, and in eight matches they have conceded 12.

So the defense definitely has been pretty bad. Well, I do not trust the coach first of all, but that is another story. I think Manchester United will be doing better with a better coach. I definitely do not think the way this team is being managed right now is actually correct and going to be good in the long run.
I would like to add that another problem came when the Glazer family finally rejected the offer from Sheikh Jassim and I don't think Manchester United's management will change much either this season or next season. Glazer is an obstacle for Manchester United to maximize results not only when buying players but they also have no plans to change coaches. So in essence, this will be a tough season for Manchester United who must continue to play with the existing composition. Where the defense line is vulnerable, plus Onana also doesn't seem suitable as Manchester United's goalkeeper. The striker position used by Erik Ten Hag is not always consistent.

809  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easy to trust someone? on: October 15, 2023, 12:31:17 PM
A lot of questions have no answers, but only a few have the right answers to 95% of some questions. Well, let me start with trust. Can you trust a person, either a friend, family or a relative, with 100% complete trust? Let me answer myself first? NO I can't. I can't trust anybody fully 100% anymore because I have seen some though cases.

However, almost all of us here have a fiat bank account and some of us have what we call a personal identification number, which refers to an ATM pin that we use for withdrawal or sending funds out, so the question is a bit simple: WHO DO YOU TRUST WITH YOUR BANK ATM PIN? if you have a person that you fully trust with your ATM pin, can you also trust that same person with your seed phrase?
It depends on the people closest to you such as family, friends and others who seem to have an untrustworthy nature. Meanwhile, I personally am not someone who is too easily suspicious. I mean for certain reasons, for example as a financial holder, my family has access to take it, in this case my wife. Maybe as I said, it comes back to how you apply an attitude of trust in other people. I also don't immediately give access without having a specific reason. Only certain people, because what I do is have an alternative if something undesirable happens such as death or an accident, so I need a second party to take care of it.

After the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund Ten Hag was more likely to played him than Anthony Martial for striker position and this make Anthony Martial only being an second choice for that position and this also make Anthony Martial starting to thinking his future on Manchester United because he want to gets more minutes to play which is that's what he won't get if Anthony Martial stays in this team so this winter Martial will thinking to leave Manchester United and find new club and it says Manchester United will allowing him to find new clubs as long as the offers from those clubs is decent to considered but Martial has high salary in Manchester United so most likely if he leave the club then he will no longer gets the salary as much as he does now
The reason is, Anthony Martial performance is not as good as Hojlund, and it makes sense for Ten Hag to entrust the striker position to Hojlund. I think this is a good opportunity because Hojlund has shown his ambition in scoring goals, so Hojlund just needs to have a partner who really supports the ball. Here, Garnacho can be relied on rather than Rashford, who has recently made more mistakes and often fails to execute the ball. If Garnacho, Rashford and Hojlund can work together well, of course the front line will be ideal. Ten Hag's job is to balance his defense after several times being easily penetrated by the opponent.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 15, 2023, 11:30:15 AM
As good as Arsenal are, I don't think they will ever underestimate the opponents they will face. Even though Chelsea has a less consistent performance but they will play at home and I think that will be an advantage for Chelsea. In spite of this, Arsenal will remain the favorite because they have a more promising performance than Chelsea, but I don't think it will be so easy for Arsenal to beat Chelsea just like that.
If Chelsea faces a big club, maybe their performance will not be so bad and they will be able to provide resistance. Because this will be a prestigious match for both teams. Playing at home is Chelsea advantage so there is no reason not to take advantage of this moment. For Arsenal, they are ready to play at home and will not put pressure on Arteta squad. The mentality of Arsenal players who continue to improve and develop after beating Manchester City is certainly a motivation to continue to maintain their victory.
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: October 14, 2023, 01:25:43 PM

why is the DCA concept highly recommended to every bitcoin investor because that way you have full control over the money you make, for example every month you make $1k from the work or business you do and you invest $300 or $400 every month to buy bitcoin, so you still have around 65% of the money you earn left, you can use it for your daily needs and set aside a little for your emergency fund, however, this emergency fund is what you can use later for urgent expenses, so you don't sell Bitcoin that you invested so far.
Actually, it's just our different habits in allocating the amount of money we will use to apply this strategy, but I think it's worth discussing because it can be a consideration for beginners to choose which option to use.
If you prefer to choose to first allocate it to bitcoin investment which is 30-40% every month, I prefer to see how much I spend every month (including emergency funds) after that I can allocate it to buy bitcoin, yes even though the amount is not much different from 30-40%. The reason I do this is because I see my daily needs as what I need to fulfill first.
Again, it's just our different ways, but the goal is the same. There is no problem with that, because the most important thing is our consistency in doing this strategy.
If you have to refer to a certain strategy, especially Bitcoin investment, the rules must be followed. regardless of whether you are ready or not with the finances. The first thing you need to pay attention to is the stability of your income, not how much you spend each month, but whether your income and expenses are really balanced so far? In some countries, an income of around $200-$300 will be divided into various types of needs, both to cover needs and to support subsequent needs. Meanwhile, investments related to a strategy are required to meet the criteria, if we admit that we have taken one of the strategies, either DCA or so on, where the consistency of purchases within a certain time period is outside the basic needs budget. On the other hand, here we are still mixing up needs and investment so that there is an overlap between which one is for investment and which one is for meeting needs. So make sure economic needs are truly met and finances are turned around for investment options according to the strategy chosen.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 14, 2023, 09:48:43 AM
My question is this, will you continue to gamble till old age, or you have planned to stop gambling at a certain age?
I am not referring to addicted gamblers that will learn a hard lesson before the quit, but only responsible gamblers that are taking all prevention measures to addiction.
It's difficult to determine when to stop completely, but personally I certainly want to stop as quickly as possible and really stop completely. But on the other hand, the gambling I do currently is not as aggressive as most other gamblers. I mean, I only play when I want and don't force myself to bet every day. Because I am quite busy and don't have time to visit the casino. So this also reduces gambling activities, I realize that this condition is quite ideal and free from addiction. Considering the people closest to me, no matter how busy they are, they still make time to gamble and I think this is quite disturbing.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Digital Gold on: October 14, 2023, 08:51:55 AM
Bitcoin is one of the strongest cryptocurrency and for that matter, it has helped so many people to get financial stability which digital golf might have not achieved so far. I will prefer to hold Bitcoin than anything like digital gold since it might not have the same value with Bitcoin which had been a very good utility project and life challenging opportunity so far. Bitcoin has so many benefits to us than the digital gold ranging from trading, staking, investing etc. Those who had been holding Bitcoin for a very long time cam attest to the huge profits they have made so far.
Actually I don't understand the main point here how bitcoin is better than digital gold because I thought bitcoin was always digital gold. I wouldn't really compare the two because I think Bitcoin is digital gold and as usual what we see is physical gold.
If we see that there is one thing in common between these two sources and that is that both of them are limited. Currently Bitcoin or crypto currency is not legal everywhere and very few people in the world know about it. So in this aspect gold will be ahead of bitcoin at present. But if we think about the future, then as the world of this crypto currency is spreading, very soon in the future investment in Bitcoin will be more spread, in this case, due to the increase in demand, its price will also increase.  And you don't have to face the trouble of physically storing it or physically securing it. And since global conflicts are happening all the time, I think Bitcoin is the best digital gold to build wealth in the virtual world.

The presence of Bitcoin is a balancing option to gold but that does not mean that the position is equalized. Regardless of its value and function, gold is still gold that has been around for a long time. Bitcoin has become a new breakthrough in the digital industry and has even become the main one and I don't think gold can do that even though the government has made a similarity to make gold digital, the value of which is questionable.

So as far as I understand gold must remain physical and a balance for the digital sector, of course only Bitcoin has a truly final supply at 21 million. Although currently Bitcoin is mostly considered a community asset whose existence is recognized by some communities. When an institution enters or indeed there are some countries that welcome Bitcoin, it is still a community asset because it is not a benchmark for agreement between all parties, especially in this case the world as a whole. However, even though Bitcoin is a community asset, it is now more promising as a store of value in which the holder has sole rights, and cannot be contaminated by third parties.

I see Mauricio Pochettino being quite ambitious by saying his team are confident after the win at Burnley before the international break and with two straight wins, I think he's feeling his team can beat any team. Should someone remind him that Arsena are the team they'd be meeting after the break? Let's see if they will be so confident after then. Mauricio has done a good job of not listening to critics and remaining focused but if we're him I'd talk less and work harder because Arsenal are riding on a high of defeating Man City and won't take chances with Chelsea, especially as they visit the Blues. In the total of 74 meetings between the two, Arsenal has won 27, while Chelsea has 26. The game will be a decider for not just who gets the three points, but also bragging rights.
I quite appreciate Pochettino self-confidence because it is normal for him to do what he does as a coach to build the mentality of his players. Because if Pochettino says otherwise, it means there is doubt that he is not capable of managing a team. Maybe Pochettino said that because he was carried away by the atmosphere after winning.
We know that being able to beat Burnley is not a benchmark for Chelsea to return to its best performance. Burnley quality cannot be compared to Arsenal who are in much better condition, frankly not a worthy comparison. So Pochettino should prepare himself and his players mentally while he still has time. Because this match will be very important for Arsenal and will maximize victory. Like it or not, Chelsea will be the next target for Arteta troops who are hungry for victory.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 13, 2023, 12:00:15 PM
There were many reasons he couldn't say why he did that. It could be that he wants to avoid people or friends who want to borrow his money or keep his winnings private from those who know him. He can also be so afraid of bad people trying to rob him that he thinks about closing himself off from people he knows. We also won't know the real reason because only he knows.

And all these reasons are normal for people who win a lot of money from gambling and it is known to people close to them. Maybe he wants to use his winnings for himself and his family.
But another common thing that I noticed where I live, a friend who achieved a big win was always a source of pride and every time we went out he never stopped showing off his win by watching replays. So far I have not found a single gambler who avoids borrowing from people or friends, because what is often found is fellow gamblers who give each other tips when one of us wins, at least enough to play for 1 hour.
818  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play while listening music? on: October 13, 2023, 11:43:54 AM
Which is more entertaining? playing games listening to music or without music just sound of the games like roulette ball bouncing on the metal wheel or playing games in silence?
While listening to music its hard to control our emotions while losing and we are not able to concentrate on game. it is highly likely that we blow our account by betting high.
but it is more entertaining while listening music on low volume and playing games.

In fact, I often play using silent mode, especially when in public places. Meanwhile, if I'm in a closed room and alone, I definitely use music from the game. This is because gambling in my place is considered a bad activity so you have to be able to adapt and don't let other people or even your own family find out. So I prefer playing game music rather than turning on seasons outside of games because seasons from games feel the sensation while playing. Maybe that's the function of casinos in providing music from games because it can create a special desire for gamblers.

820  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: October 12, 2023, 11:52:48 AM
but we also need to do something different in order to improve not just patient because after all life not to go on, so if we can be comfortable why not, through all the hard work we might make it.
when hardwork finally pays off then at least we don't have to be stressed by finance condition again, because we can't lie that the stress is mentally exhausting and doesn't matter how optimistic we are, we would always have some thoughts about this, therefore escaping financial crisis is the way.
Hard work will create the same stress, yes, you will not have financial problems while you work, but you will not be able to work for a long time at a hard job, it will not only take away your physical strength, but perhaps also exhaust you emotionally. Ultimately, you will tend to change jobs, even if it brings you less income. If we lack money, we will always experience stress, I’m not sure that this can be avoided somehow, we must always have savings to prevent this.
This is where mental health comes into play, we only stay in comfortable conditions and don't dare to leave that zone, so when we are faced with tougher life challenges it will stress us out and we don't have a solution to get out of the pressure. Life is not always comfortable and neither is work that requires us to develop and do new things. Because that way, gradually our mentality will be formed into a strong person. So it's just a matter of deciding to dare to change towards better finances or to put up with monotonous conditions and not find yourself able to compete with other people.
