801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does an ICO need to be successful? on: October 23, 2017, 10:41:11 PM
It has to do something with the owners now raising funds is just like issuing of shares but when shares are issued they have to utilise those funds in order to get more capital etc. In case of ico the company isn't bound to anything so once they raise funds they don't care about the token they issue nor anything helpful is done which raises demand for their token if some ico can put some work they can be successful it has happened in past best example is ether
Definitely! In addition, in order for an ICO to be successful there should be many privileges to make or offer because people always think of good result of what they hold for any coin. There must be an assurance that ICO is not a scam because others always start with negativity in their minds so prove to them that it is not a scam or a trash. Let them be awakened to what they said.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when bitcoins are lost on: October 23, 2017, 10:12:50 PM
Yes it is impossible to recover them back once that they are lost, and the same happens if you die with your bitcoins inside a wallet, there is no way to recover them back, the only way is if someone just login to your wallet and steal your coins or just use them for buying something or just for withdrawing them, but if they dont have the private key or the password it is impossible for them to login to the address.
This is a good question, but yes, it works like that.

When bitcoins lost I feel lost too because I can't concentrate things well and since bitcoin motivates me the way I live now, I can't imagine life without it. I keep on waiting that bitcoin will somehow become the most powerful currency in the universe. If that happens that bitcoin are lost, I feel miserable because I've been spending my life, my time with it.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: October 23, 2017, 09:46:32 PM
It is very obvious that bank will indeed be nervous as regards the increasing global acceptability of bitcoin.
Bitcoin being a virtual currency that does not requires a third party for it's transactions means a lot to bankers, at this end bankers are going to lose their jobs in few years to come. (No tax to be paid).
Moreso, bitcoin being a decentralized currency cannot be recapitalized by the so called central banks is another setback to the bankers.
Bankers will find a way they are a bunch of liars and cheaters that I’m sure they are already thinking how to solve this issue, I will not be surprised if they used the same trick they used against gold, they are going to create their own cryptocurrency with an equivalence to bitcoin then when you deposit your  bitcoin with them you get this crypto that has some differences with bitcoin, especially the ability to make chargebacks and then they are going to create as much of this crypto as they want.
Yeah how rude they are with that such act. No wonder many people are losing their trust in banks. Sometimes I am doubtful because I heard many issues already and even my friends had experienced of pseudo transaction. The reason why big banks are so nervous about bitcoin is that bitcoin has a huge percentage rate of money from different currencies in one. It is a total package which can be done using a wallet to wallet basis. It is a big rival between two if soon bitcoin will be officially accepted internationally.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: October 22, 2017, 11:57:26 PM
Recently, more and more representatives of the official authorities of various states and businesses recognize that the crypto currency starts to displace the usual currency in carrying out various financial transactions. However, in my opinion, this will concern the banking sphere, the sphere of business, mutual settlements between individuals and legal entities, and also only in certain part of payments for goods and services in our daily life. In addition, this process will be very time-consuming and will take many decades. In general, I do not think that the crypto currency in the foreseeable future will completely replace the currency fiat.
I think that's impossible to happen because we've been using real money for ages. Bitcoin could be like that too in the future but I think they are both existing money and both important for us. I can't even imagine a life without real money because I'm used to it while in bitcoin I still find time to manage everything since I need internet connection everytime I access for money. It's a good privilege to be part and working with bitcoin. I can't ask for more.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 22, 2017, 11:15:06 PM
Bitcoin is an electronic currency. I think It is a Money making Machine. we are not able to use Bitcoin in our daily purpose.
so it is not wise to say that BTC is a money. Its need to be established more and I think it is not possible that BTC will replace the place of money.
Of course bitcoin is still money. A kind of crypto currency and digitized money at the same time that can be kept in wallet transaction by the use of internet. You can change it in fiat after it has been transacted to your account. After fiat, you can simply cash out and it turned into real money a physical money to be exact. So they are just the same only that it is modernized way to earn it using our technology.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: October 22, 2017, 10:43:30 PM
Yes. I think bitcoin is a good way to invest your money. Its just like you are saving your money not in a bank but in your wallet. As the time goes by the value of bitcoin increases. So you will earn your profit just by holding it and without doing anything. You just need to be patient.
Yeah bitcoin is the most profitable investment of nowadays and it is wise to invest into bitcoin because its profit rate is impressive and its eases are also magnificent and on top of it bitcoin is accepted all over the world and it gives more than a 1000$ profit in one week time and that’s a great figure so invest onto this coin you will get what you want or more than you want this coin has potential to deliver 100% profit.
Of course it is a good way to invest money in bitcoin. No matter how it goes down it will still goes up or pumps. What's weakening people's judgement is that they easily believe those others who make realistic ideas that triggers the minds of innocent people who are willing to invest money. For me, it is good to invest my money in bitcoin and I can have profits on my own and I'm satisfied with that.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Death of Bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 10:22:16 PM
People who live in fear will always find information that puts Bitcoin in a position that looks like it might fail but that's to them. Other people only see it as succeeding.
I can sense that too mate. Spreading fake news like this, death of bitcoin is not a clear and just information. They don't even bother to show and prove to us how will bitcoin die. They're just making issue because they know themselves that they can't be that patient to wait for bitcoin to pay them. In other words they are hesitant that bitcoin will continue living in the economy and therefore, will die or gone for good. Actually, they're just wasting their time posting such negative things about bitcoin and we believe that bitcoin is still alive and no death can beat for it is immortal in crypto world.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: October 21, 2017, 11:56:53 PM
I think the only reason they are saving bitcoin is because of a high return of investment. They buy bitcoin and hold it for a long time because they believe that the price of bitcoin after a year or two will increase which is a good strategy.
Saving bitcoin will get a big profit in the future. I buy some bitcoins when they were 400 usd but now they nearly get 10.000 usd. So i belive in kepping bitcoin is the best way for investment and profit growth

Yup even I bought when the price of bitcoins was around $300 2 years back and I am still saving those coins in my wallet and if I sell them now then I will be making huge profits but I believe that price can go much higher in coming months and that would be the best time to sell bitcoins.
I guess if saving for a long time with bitcoin will make you rich. To the extent that you are earning lots of it. For sure you link your bitcoin with altcoins and trade some of it so that you can get more income or profit from it. The benefit of bitcoin is the nice profit it has and would definitely make you understand how important money is and you'll get to know more in disciplining yourself. Bitcoin is not only teaches us to earn and make profits but it teaches us to grow open minded individuals by controlling ourselves in anything we can and I think that's the best benefit it taught us so far.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: October 21, 2017, 11:36:03 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

I think no one knows the future of the bitcoin if will going to last or not but i believed bitcoin will going to last forever because of the hardship experiences that we have gone through like China ban, JP Morgan, the segwit and many more plus the increasing number of nations that adopting the bitcoin but we need to share our part too by continue to support it and keep it sharing to the people.
Right and I think that depends on the people's decision or Satoshi himself/herself. We have to make sure that bitcoin won't end through using it more often rather than keep saving it for a long period of time. The fact that bitcoin could change the life of everybody and that's meaningful function and proof. Avoid people spreading fake information or speculations that are destructive because they are just testing you to give up on bitcoin and you end it by yourself if you agree with others. So make it happen so that bitcoin never ends.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 21, 2017, 11:16:02 PM
Bitcoin is gaining popularity slowly and steadily but that doesn't mean it will be used by each and every person in coming times as there will be many people who will prefer to stay away from it and will use only fiat for shopping and invest their money in gold and other products on which they have more faith.
Yes. If demands is concerned, bitcoins will be used by almost everyone in 2022. By that time, the pice of bitcoin will be too high which most people can't buy but the investors instead who have millions of money with them. That's reality of life but because bitcoin can give an income which has a great value, then people are still part of it and won't stop using bitcoin and they'll be used to it. As a result,no one can stop people from using bitcoin in that year.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 21, 2017, 10:54:23 PM
No I don't think that bitcoin will survive afrer 100 year. Here is what I think: The bicoin could be replaced by another technology.  You may wonder what technology? Well it may be DNA code, yep dna code is more complex than cryptography, thats why I think it is viable Wink

It's all speculation as no one can predict the next 100 years, but per the current growth rate and if all things be equal and it keeps rising in terms of demand then i bet it will be one of the most priced asset in the next 100 years.
Maybe it can survive that long but the very big question for myself to ask is,Will I still be alive during a hundred year? If bitcoin would survive that long then that's really impressive because finally those times bitcoin is accepted in the society and in all countries. Despite the reality that I can't stay that long I can feel that bitcoin will be successful someday and can help thousands of millions of people on earth with different needs and wants through earning and investing bitcoin, they can all achieve it.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's Time to Buy Alt Coin on: October 21, 2017, 10:31:32 PM
Would you guys buy ChainLink now or wait a bit? It pumped after the conference but i didnt think it would go down this fast after the conference was over. Thanks

Cheers
Prices usually get pumped after or before a conference happens. You could wait a while to invest, you don't lose what you have if you do so.
I see but I'm curious of how and the perfect timing in buying altcoin. I've got no clues actually. So you mean it lump also like bitcoin does everyday? This is really something. Do you know what coins are good to buy and what are the techniques in knowing a good altcoin? I am not really having many ideas with altcoins but I'm willing to know about it. The more idea I get the more it is easier for me to know all about altcoins.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 20, 2017, 11:41:23 PM
We all know that bitcoin is a crypto currency and we can use it online or digital payment. Perhaps, it is a kind of money i think because of some characteristic of money that bitcoin have. otherwise we can use bitcoin like what money can do in some cases. But if we compare it physically, big description of the two are difference.
Bitcoin is money and nothing can change that but the special thing in bitcoin that the physical money doesn't have is the volatility of the bitcoin because of the volatility the price of bitcoin is keep going up and it is why we should invest a little bit of our money in bitcoin to earn some more money and we should have a great knowledge in financial literacy to balance things.
In present, Bitcoin look like as an asset or stock for trade and investment than paper money as Dollar or other currencies on the world. However, you can not know anything has the price fluctuation strongly as Bitcoin. That is the difference between Bitcoin with others.
Of,course it is still money and from that we can get profits. Thesedays, it's a bit tough to earn because of the selling and buying price. However, people are still good at managing and planning of any cases to happen if there are dips. It is a kind of money which is a crypto specifically a digitized money which you can change into fiat as physical money. Isn't it incredible?
814  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2017, 10:44:05 PM
These days every person needs cash. Young children are not an exception. I believe economic game titles with an earnings in bitcoins is really ideal for this. To instruct a kid the sport no problem, but as quickly as he will get anything for bitcoins plenty of lunch they will know every thing.

All of us needs cash even those young ones they have to ask their parents for the things they want. And mostly now that technology is on a big trend, they seem to be needy for the gadgets that they want. Playstation, smartphones, laptops/macbooks, etc. This will make those kids inspired and encourage if they will know how to earn bitcoin, once they figured it out that it can lead them to buy those things that they want they will focus on it eventually.
That's making kids lazy with those gadgets that are not appropriate for their age. For instance, if the is about 10 years old and we allow them all of the gadgets, we are just suffocating them at a very young age. With regards to bitcoin, I don't think they can handle it because kids should be at school. We all know how risky it is even if we are adults the more with kids. How would they feel if we teach them? They have many questions to ask. And, you know kids are very good at diverting conversation. So takes a lot of time to teach them.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 19, 2017, 11:29:13 PM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Yes, bitcoin can change the world and looking for a great change in my life too like what others have experienced with their life because of bitcoin. It gives us some hope for a brighter future.

No doubt that bitcoin has changed a lot in our lives, and this forum is the best exemple for that, we all ahve differnet ideas differnt religoins and beliefs and we are from differnet parts of the world but we all have united on one thing which is our passion for bitcoin, and if  the whole world could see what bitcoin is capable of and the whole world uses bitcoin as a universal currency than, the world would be a better place, if peopel all over the world uses bitcoin than their lives will become better fininacialy and we would have a bit of balance of power in this world.
Indeed. It changes the world somehow but what changes more with bitcoin is me. I see how slowly I become more concerned about my life and people around me especially my family who always needs my help financially. The ambiguity of bitcoin serves me to be more active and the world that I live in will be productive in the field of spreading information about bitcoin. It may changes the world but it changes more of myself.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: October 19, 2017, 11:09:08 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.
The dump is caused by speculators and weak hands, no one that know anything about bitcoin will see a relationship between icos being banned and bitcoin, most of the icos are ETH tokens and have no relationship with bitcoin, now bitcoin is trading at the same levels as before which show to us this was nothing but a speculative dump if it was a real one the price will go down and stay down for months or years.
No it will never happened because millions of people have invest their money in bitcoins and the only hope of unemployed people is Bitcoin so no government will treat their people so harsh that they will stop Bitcoins at all.
While governments in theory should worry about the well being of their populations, at the same time, they are going to do everything to ensure their own survival, if they think bitcoin is bad for them, they are going to try to ban it, even if for most of the people that have invested in bitcoin, the experience has been positive thanks to the big earnings they got out of their investment.
I think it's impossible if government can stop bitcoin because bitcoin has contributed many things already. The money that it has from crypto are being distributed from different sectors considering the small entrepreneurs which give them hope to build a better business and help industries. I don't think can still stop that because some entrepreneurs can definitely recognized bitcoin as a source of success and that moment, governments will change their minds.
817  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 19, 2017, 10:26:10 PM
Lots of people use Bitcoin so they don't have to rely on banks, so what's the point if you're going to use a bank anyway? Lol. But yeah, we are capable enough of protecting our own coins. There should be no need for banks.
Yeah, we can hold our Bitcoin and use it for loans through loans services or some exchanges support it. Of course, I know the risk of cryptocurrency always higher than banking system, but I do not want to put my money into any place, because it means I support Bitcoin become centralization.
the existence of bitcoin banks will undoubtedly remove the decentralization of the bitcoin itself, because when they use bitcoin banks then all of their bitcoin will be controlled by the third party or the bank itself, and the worse usually the bank will ask for your identity for the purposes of data completeness, and of course anonymous from bitcoin will disappear when you use bitcoin bank, I myself do not really agree any bitcoin bank
Of course I agree with bitcoin bank. It's more interesting because many people in my country will be able to know more bitcoin. The people in my country really need to see how legit bitcoin is so if ever this proposal will be real in the future, so it will be easier to access everything especially the people from my country always see something first or an appearance of something before they believe. And I think this is the best idea in order to have a strong name in our society and I believe if bitcoin bank is made, many people will invet to it.
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: October 19, 2017, 10:06:04 PM
Yes,i too check bitcoin price early.I use preev.com to check its price.Being an active bitcoin enthusiast,i check its price daily to decide what steps to be further taken, either to hold or sell my bitcoins or to invest in altcoins.

Its really exciting to see bitcoin price rising in the early morning.Long term holders may not find it useful to check the price every day,but active traders would be checking it daily and also newbies, who often get panic on seeing bitcoin's price falling would definitely check it daily as they would be restless until they check its price frequently.
I sometimes check bitcoin price because I have lots of work to do in the house. As a youngest I need to work hard because I only live with my siblings in the house so despite of being busy, I make time to check bitcoin price. I checked the price yesterday and it bubbles up for the last 5 days after checking that time. I was really surprised that it keeps on pumping higher and higher almost every week. I wish that it continues to grow because I have to use the money for my check up and other expenses. Anyhow, I'm thankful still with bitcoin.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 18, 2017, 10:16:47 PM
We never know if the price of the bitcoin price of today will go down or up. One thing is sure you did a great move to have profit. Any way you can wait untill the bitcoin price fall then do another wise move man .
One of the best decision in trading, sell when you think you already earn profit. And buy back when the price drops, because in my own opinion there will be little dump of price after the hard fork. Yes, we doesnt know yet when is the price will be its in high peak.
Even its not fork this these days we are still seeing drops of the price of bitcoin because we know already that there are people are selling their bitcoin to save profit.. those who are late in buying bitcoin are those who lose .
I think for now the price will be stable but after the fork i think this is not only small dump expect that we will experience of big  dump after they get their BTG this is  i think mostly here just getting the benefits of them..
I see but you know what even if bitcoin has unconstant changes of the price people will still make ways to have profit. There are many options to do with that and that only shows how smart people are to know different techniques to be profitable enough. To those who sold their bitcoin,I guess he will be so happy because he was sure to have a good profit after selling his bitcoin. Maybe he is satisfied with the outcome he got. In addition, through bitcoin people are becoming generous and more friendly. This is a big sign of cooperation to be united as one in the world and I think bitcoin is doing that to all people,to us. Whether selling bitcoin or not we are still profitable with people that bind us one world.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: October 18, 2017, 09:45:26 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...

Which country are you living? Bitcoin is yet to really make a big name to the majority of the people. Those who have known bitcoin already know that it is a great invention. However, these people are only comprising of a very small minority as compared to the world's population. Soon, this will reach to the farthest corners of the world.
I think about that too. There are millions of people around different countries in the world. Some countries are so lucky because everything was in modern era already. Some are not because of lack and still undeveloped country and a very low economic rate. For instance,Africa as we heard from news and seen on TV,most people there are starving they don't know what's bitcoin they don't even care because what's important to them is to eat and that's the only thing they want. In that particular issue, they don't know what this is yet. If their country will change and be modernized maybe they will and surely get interested in bitcoin.
