Most of the bitcoin faboys don't care about technological developments in the field of finance. All they're interested in is wealth redistribution. To switch places with the current elite that is earning with interest, so they themselves could earn with deflation. They can't see that the endgame is about making the financial system more transparent, not about making it more anonymous. Anonymity is helping the crooks while transparency would help the society in general.
That is the reaso why I dispise the majority of bitcoin fanboys. A bunch of lazy and hypocritical crooks if you ask me.
It doesn't apply to everyone, but the majority is what it is.

That is a strange thing to try and explain Personally I have had several very successful trades based on dream premonitions Now if only that vivid ripple one would work out. Lol I believe. A friend of mine, whom I told many months ago about BTC, said she was praying and God told her, and it appears with a feeling of urgancy, to invest in Bitcoin.  Now that is bullish news!  Is that for real?  Also it would be nice to see 800 by end of June but not real at all. Yes. My friend called this morning. I trust her too based on other things God has spoken to her. It was weird that it was today, the day before the silk road coins are being auctioned. She knew nothing about that. I had to walk her through the entire process because she did not even know where to buy coins. I did caution her she might be in for a bumpy ride. Bitcoin is not an ivestment for those that like a slow and steady ride.  This is getting unreal this spiritual premonition stuff. I am all for positive attitude and hoping for price increases - next someone is going to suggest that their astrologist recommended bitcoin... And that might be the best advice anyone using astrology has ever given! Ok... fine.. at least it is a real story about a real experience that you had. I have NO doubt that you are NOT pulling our leg about something that actually happened to you. Totally true. If you read through my posts you can see I am not shy about my belief in God. Which hasn't won me much popularity on this forum BTW. This friend I am talking about has been a major spiritual "mentor" in my life so I respect her greatly. But I tried to explain all the risks before she bought. I guess that shows a little lack of faith on my part? I think I just want her to have realistic expectations though. |

The low volume will scare off new investors, think about your investment here for a while.
If you already have cinni coin from 12K+ (bagholder), my advise it to hold and hope for better times.
If you bought cinni coin under 12K, time to sell is now! Only small loss.
If you want to buy (why?), this is not the bottom for sure. New investors don't have alot of upside potential, above 10K everyone is dumping.
If you don't believe me look at facts: market conditions have changed you have to see this, Cinni will retest 5K again before 20K!
I agree many coins have a long slow decline before any life at all is seen. Then it is usually a pump from whales who are playing daily on the market. It has become tiresome and to much like work to me to even follow. I am currently happy at my CC holding level and not moving that around to much unless the potential innovation really grabs my attention. Instead of playing with five figure whale pumpers, I have elected to invest in the type of organic grow nessecary for the long term viability of CC for here on just holding a 1% stake of the ones I feel have real potential
But I mean, Im just a big fat troll I guess..... Oh well. It's your money.

Blockchain 2.0 and Web 3.0 - and all the mainstream penetration - are part of phase 2 of XC's development plan. We're currently in phase 1.
Although the stuff we're doing now is ground-breaking and will put XC way up ahead, phase 2 is an order of magnitude greater than phase 1.
At some point after Rev 3 you'll find out how we're going get it done. I can't wait.
Web... 3.0? Web 3.0 is a nebulous concept at present, and two strands of it are interesting: the effortless "semantic" web (google it) that may be implemented by Big Data, and the secure, cryptographically-inclined ideas of people like Ethereum's Dr. Gavin Wood ( http://insightsintoamodernworld.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/apps-what-web-30-looks-like.html). Since it doesn't exist yet, there's no good reason to define what it is. But by creating blockchain 2.0 apps of various kinds, XC is inevitably making inroads into secure Web 3.0 territory, whatever the term "Web 3.0" ends up signifying. Safe to say XC is pushing the boundaries of technology like no other.  Haven't been following the coin closely at all. Anyone care to elaborate without the prerequisite digging through the trash posts for the golden nuggets? |

This last month of hard work has been hard for us to get through, but we're coming out now with that groundwork laid and with a solid launchpad built for takeoff. We plant 1000 seeds to watch 10 flowers grow. Or something like that, is a chinese proverb. The way I feel today is that one of those flowers is popping its little head out lol. I have seen and felt this firsthand the last couple weeks. I feeder that carried lots of sunflower was the source of a strong plant that was transplanted to too small of a pot. Now it wants to fall over it the slightest breeze. |

On a side I wonder how much the core devs are invested personally, out of pure curiosity. Jeff Garzik publically stated he "only" has 348 BTC which is far less than some speculators here. I have met another vip core dev in person and I understood he is in the thousands BTC but below 10k. I really don't think this is a real issue at all. The concept of BTC is already tried and true to its valuation far beyond the current price and beyond. As far as crisis in purchasing power that the market creates due to fear or other weakness you know its all hyperbole. My reasoning for stating this is after I hit 21 bitcoin I stopped caring how much more I had and started working and investing on the angle of adding value through educational outreach in my community and economic viability through spending and moving Bitcoin. Holders of far, far more coin than I may have at the moment will be weak handed as we see the true push of inflationary pressure of the price in USD, YEN, YUAN, etc. |

Yes the idea was so profound and exhilerating, I do admit that I have jumped the gun somewhat with posting immediately the morning after staying up the whole night rough drafting it out after a eye opening meeting with an engineer friend of mine with over a 30 year career. I must say if you do forgive me for that please feel free to follow me on twitter and of course here after the Thursday meeting, I will have a much better sense of how to open dialogue with the serious ones here that are interested in staking the development of a truly inspired concept. @vleroybrown
