8001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.7 Available on: July 31, 2014, 05:00:10 AM
Doge is the only altcoin I have, I bought it when it was valued around 100 satoshis.
I don't know if it will ever raise again to that price but I'm holding hard...

If you buy more now, then you can dramatically lower your average cost.  Smiley

maybe*

there is some truth to that though and i have done that lots myself.. but it can easily screw you too lol

edit:
i spent like 2 straight days downloading the damn block chain guys wow slooooooooow Sad
first thing i thought was the text in the wallet is irritating bullshit and the font is horrendous.. can't stand the font big time !
who is this coin for ? down syndrome victims ? lol

when doge first launched the blocks werent stacking right.  This causes the sync to be longer... this problem was addressed/fixed by Pronooob adding supernodes.

I feel like I'm in ancient Rome with a few crazy people standing on big rocks screaming how everything sucks

Hows your new project working out for ya ? care to elaborate on it ?
a little birdy whispered in my ear Wink

Another spots coin in the works? 5 coins, a wordpress fiverr clone, and a vapourware payment processing site isn't enough to manage? Mullick compiling this one too?

No matter what you are holding, I guarantee you have at least 1 coin that I've been involved with

I didn't actually make WorkForCrypto, just helped out with it

You're right about Paysha, though. That project fell through. Disagreements between team members and different visions for the product. Yes that project failed, but at least I'm the only one that lost out financially

Respect for the non trollish answer to my trolling, more than could be expected from the loudest voice in this thread. Go on though, give Spoetnik a rage orgasm (he needs on hes not stealing from an underage girl, conquest sexual predator he is and all) and list them. I doubt I personally have any, my hodlings are pretty limited--unless you made Bitcoin or Namecoin.

prob should add some HUC to that Tongue

I'm not really complaining, but is there a possiblity in the future that the block times could be speeded up?

Largest fish to fry at this point I'd say.

Not really sure.  If you have a large team, you need to have time to figure your moves.  I was just wondering if it was possible or if it was even necessary.

o ya dude not knocking your question at all bud. Just chipping in my thoughts.

There are less than 10 people in this game, compared to more than 100 people at  four months ago. Not only the huge block size is the obstacle, the game strategy is too simple, just  plan the trace again and again, the one create more characters has more chance to win, which has no difference with POW and POS, even worse than POW and POS.
There are some obvious faults in current game mechanism.  someone create large amount of characters to control the rich pool, waiting the coins full of pool, then create a self defined way points to collect hundreds of coins in a single transaction of moving, which largely decreases fees of  F2Pool or other pools supporting this coin.  The rich pool is more easily controlled in current game mechanism, Only 4 or 5 people create 80% characters of the map and capture 90% of the coins, which makes this coin more quickly to rubbish. Grin

exactly, but "it's in good hands" so we can't expect an aggressive change even in months.

It is. I'll continue to add some coinage. I have it set in my head this coin is worth no less that .001BTC.

Tell her your hashrate and total BTC holdings.

If you want her to love your money and not you, perhaps.

Females don't give two shits about hashrate or BTC.

Is there a place to buy Birkin Bag?

Unless you want one of these... I wouldn't lead off with I have lots of hash or BTC Cheesy I just say I'm involved with online digital currencies (AKA Internet Pirate Money.)

yuck

i know exactly who you are talking about with that guy..

i could write a book here now but that guy has been kind of up front and honest with me about things *i think and i appreciate that.
sinking a coin and ruining some of my connections in the process is not worth it lol

Are you talking about Ownsley? (aka BigBaller aka Haightst)

Is he one of your "connections"? rofl if so.. you might be a part of the problem and you need better connections Cheesy

point was he may have said something to me about some coins floating around but i will not stab him in the back by spouting off Wink

just chalk it up to "conspiracy"

Chalk it up to you being part of the problem I'd say.  Please go back to the Pink sheets on Investorhub.

Fuck that dude he has AIDS (ownsley)

8013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human/SHA256/Scrypt - MergedMined - decentralized MMO on: July 30, 2014, 02:21:05 AM
Any estimates on how many actual humans there are playing?  I downloaded the mithral man client and I am very impressed.  I think hunter coin has a big future.

Wow.  Lots of upside potential.

According to huntercoin.info, there're 673 generals on the map atm of which at least 350 are owed by 5 center people. So that gives the estimate of less than 30 people are playing the game right now. Just my guess.
.

I would guess closer to 10 or less.

Wonder if the primary players took 40% less coins, diversity increased, and the price doubled, they would make more than now. Something to think about as the player count continues to dwindle.

I think there just needs to be more players.  The mithral man client certainly levels the playing field and makes it really fun.  I'm just an average guy and I think its awesome.  Just need to get more people playing.  Your little tutorial to get started helps alot.

I think it is just a waste of time atm to try to get new players. No one wants to fuck with this sync and I don't blame them.

At this point I think it will hurt HUC to market it beyond trying to get pools mining it... (who knows. Do whatcha do! Sure not trying to rain on your parade)

Monero is just the P&D of the week/month (not sure yet.)

A few things concerned me about how the transactions are mixed.

So A sends money to C, but it used ABC & D to send to C.  Seems like a good way for B & D to get in the middle of some shit they really don't want to be involved with... right? (or at least along those lines)

It would be horribly embarrassing for the FBI to come talk to you/family/friends about a kiddie porn payment when you were just holding a crypto-note.
That's not really how the FBI work either.  They can talk to anyone they like.  What people say in return is more the point of what matters.  Americans tend to be pretty authoritarian, with some exceptions for folks who assert their rights:

You'll be thinking rights when you are on a 72 hour hold and when a Judge signs off on a Warrant to sniff your wife's panties!

That is what I mean by "talk".

Yes... they will talk to people.

I was just wondering if this could be the case with this coin.  That is personally why I don't hold any of this because I don't want to get associated with any bullshit that I didn't even know about!

Did you know 90% of U.S Dollars containt cocaine traces on them? Yea, so are 90% of Americans in jail/being questioned right now since they handled those dollars at one point in time? No

Same situation here, no one member can be identified and you can't charge the whole group, which makes Cryptonote the best anonymity feature there is.

I call bullshit.

Miners just need to get in their head that this shit is worth .001BTC.

This must be playable within 5 minutes of hearing about it.

As it is now no one can even get to the game (I know I personally can't.) Investors can not and should not expect the game play to grow atm it is what it is.

This can't be rushed though, so if you are mining now I would just take advantage of having your own little corner on a pretty cool set up.

Anyone with any interest in this project should be racing towards this 5 min centralized game play (or figure out this stupid long sync) goal.  It shouldn't rest on Snails/team's shoulders alone.

First market movers advantage @ this point.

Edit:

Maybe try a poloniex give away if you have more coins than you know what to do with.   Roll Eyes Wink

Or the drone could deliver a paper wallet that is not yet loaded.

Once the drone was away from you assholes the paper wallet would be funded from the "source".

It would be awesome to be having coffee on the roof of some place and have a drone delivery drop me off some coin.... I bet I could convince the Manager to accept it Wink

People would shit. haha!

Paper Wallet not loaded and then loaded once it has left is a good idea lol ....

I came up with this one dreaming on how to set up a offshore paper wallet company using churches to pass along paperwallets Tongue (they are the biggest origination with physical locations all over the world and are protected by a number of laws)

So if someone wanted to make a withdraw you just walk into your local Christian church and get the paper.  Once you are safely away you type in the 2fa code and boom. Bitcoins.  That way the person feels comfortable where he is at to hold BTC and the church has no reason to get robbed (or the drone in this case!)

HAHAHA I love dreams! Thanks man for the support! Cheesy

Of course man!

8018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Drones to Deliver Bitcoins on: July 28, 2014, 07:35:06 PM
Using something like a drone would work I guess to deliver bit coins however looking at the problems from using such a method as well I feel the way bit coins are being delivered now would be a lot better way than drone delivery. With so many things being shot down from the skies I am sure after a certain amount of time there would be ways to shoot down drones carrying bit coins leaving those who needed the delivery empty handed and others gaining.

If it is a two-way thingy with a webcam to see the individual exchanging cash they could just take a baseball bat and knock it down and steal the cash  Angry

8019  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin.org is looking for sponsorship! on: July 28, 2014, 07:24:36 PM
We aren't interested in working with certain types of services, these include porn sites, gambling sites, large mining pools, anything altcoin related, and suspicious services of low quality.

I'm only here for the porn, gambling, pools, altcoins and really suspicious low quality services... isn't that what bitcoin is based on!

Why take away from what you are built on?

Those suspicious services wont take bitcoin to mainstream and those are not what bitcoin is only based on. Bitcoin.org perates as the face of Bitcoin (oh I know Bitcoin is faceless). So they cant promote some low quality services. Leave them for BitcoinTalk Wink

I can understand suspicious low quality services, but porn, gambling and altcoin (such as NMC not others) seem like they should have a crack at it.

Hell, I think Bitcoin is best for porn and that is a huge industry.  I expect to see more "mainstream" porn sites going BTC.

Looks to me like bitcoin.org wants to push BTC to minors. (Which is fine in my eyes... Kid cash spends the same as grown up cash!)

I guess I can see it from their point of view though. Guess I'm SOL on sponsoring.  Probably could use the Snail site.

Are snails cool?
