Voted and left nice comment Good comment, lots of ups on it You must be some type of professional eh? jk and ty Keep those kind comments following fellas/girls! Just a small note: Probably it's more like 20% (ish) to Hardware miners + Fees for Deaths + Movement --They get 1 coin/block (10%), 10% of coins banked (<9%?), + death/movement/tx fees During disaster blocks (50 blocks), they will receive more. May make it more attractive to hardware miners Got her cleaned up!

Any estimates on how many actual humans there are playing? I downloaded the mithral man client and I am very impressed. I think hunter coin has a big future.

According to huntercoin.info, there're 673 generals on the map atm of which at least 350 are owed by 5 center people. So that gives the estimate of less than 30 people are playing the game right now. Just my guess.

Huntercoin - 1.0.11e - Warning - First time start will take some time.add Daemon Warmup Message add wallet filename option (specify a wallet) improve/fix fragmentation issues when syncing on NTFS - should provide some performance benefit. Name_list crash fix and performance Implement UTXO-based tx verification - utxo.dat will be created upon first start, this process may take some time. Should improve performance. This should help pave the way for future pruning. http://forum.huntercoin.org/index.php?topic=37.0https://github.com/chronokings/huntercoin

Wonder if the primary players took 40% less coins, diversity increased, and the price doubled, they would make more than now. Something to think about as the player count continues to dwindle.

Miners just need to get in their head that this shit is worth .001BTC. This must be playable within 5 minutes of hearing about it. As it is now no one can even get to the game (I know I personally can't.) Investors can not and should not expect the game play to grow atm it is what it is. This can't be rushed though, so if you are mining now I would just take advantage of having your own little corner on a pretty cool set up. Anyone with any interest in this project should be racing towards this 5 min centralized game play (or figure out this stupid long sync) goal. It shouldn't rest on Snails/team's shoulders alone. First market movers advantage @ this point. Edit: Maybe try a poloniex give away if you have more coins than you know what to do with.

I think there just needs to be more players. The mithral man client certainly levels the playing field and makes it really fun. I'm just an average guy and I think its awesome. Just need to get more people playing. Your little tutorial to get started helps alot.

No one wants to fuck with this sync and I don't blame them. At this point I think it will hurt HUC to market it beyond trying to get pools mining it... (who knows. Do whatcha do! Sure not trying to rain on your parade)

Not that big of a deal if you download the blockchain separately (I did have some trouble cause I had some directories wrong at first). I realize it will be alot easier for the average joe in the future though. The mithral man client is awesome.

There are less than 10 people in this game, compared to more than 100 people at four months ago. Not only the huge block size is the obstacle, the game strategy is too simple, just plan the trace again and again, the one create more characters has more chance to win, which has no difference with POW and POS, even worse than POW and POS. There are some obvious faults in current game mechanism. someone create large amount of characters to control the rich pool, waiting the coins full of pool, then create a self defined way points to collect hundreds of coins in a single transaction of moving, which largely decreases fees of F2Pool or other pools supporting this coin. The rich pool is more easily controlled in current game mechanism, Only 4 or 5 people create 80% characters of the map and capture 90% of the coins, which makes this coin more quickly to rubbish.

It is. I'll continue to add some coinage. I have it set in my head this coin is worth no less that .001BTC.

I'm not sure about the correctness of this view. Cost for general (10) that gives you just 1 controllable hunter plus random destruction (that maybe should be more willing to happen sooner than actual algorithm) is a risk factor to invest too much generals on the map. the problem is just lack of players. if you imagine just 100 players each one controlling 10+ generals, it would level up map control of course the more you are organized and play in team, the more chance you have to control the map. Maybe some map redesign should be done but I don't think it's a major issue. About block size, actually it's really small because there are few transaction (or maybe you meant blockchain size? if so, domob is working on pruning things and he's proceeding smoothly, it isn't an easy thing to do) As I said problem is few players playing (and i think that even no aggressive bot on the map is a factor, they were a sort of NPC in game if you think about it, that added some difficult to bank coins, was just a balancing problem) because it wouldn't be so hard to create a barriage near exits and fight there for coins, if there were many players (and maybe in team) i think that as soon as pruning will be done and players could jump into the game in few minutes, this game will revive. P.S. about people playing, i can tell you that actually my client has an average of ~ 14 daily players, but i don't know what' the % usage of my client respect the whole player population to know the ratio

The rich pool is more easily controlled in current game mechanism, Only 4 or 5 people create 80% characters of the map and capture 90% of the coins, which makes this coin more quickly to rubbish. There are probably more individual players playing now than 4 months ago, since bots took over IMO. I also believe the human to bot ratio of players has significantly improved. We have reduced block chain growth by increasing fees, general cost and implementing disaster. Total chain size will be reduced significantly with pruning. When PvP is involved, it is not too simple (strategy) - the issue is more players are needed, and until we have pruning/performance and afk play (botting) it may not increase so much until then... but, this shouldn't be long. not sure what you mean - and think you are wrong here: someone create large amount of characters to control the rich pool, waiting the coins full of pool, then create a self defined way points to collect hundreds of coins in a single transaction of moving, which largely decreases fees of F2Pool or other pools supporting this coin. Bots move when the coin spawns. i've seen some that do predefined sweeps of an area, but those still have to do very long tx (higher fee)... and as for banking the coins, it's still jsut 10%.. if there is 100 people getting 10% tax when they bank, or 1 person getting 10% tax, it's still 10% tax. I don't think f2pool are complaining about fees. We have Added Disaster (more fees), Fee for every move (>0.01), higher general cost (more for deaths). Welcome to the Forum
